But how are these people recognized by just Thier physical appearance? Isn't it more convincing when they know Thier lifestyle which would possibly take a long while?? - Assuming it's their first time in that casino house..
Secondly, casino owners don't even give a heck who's wagering thier funds - except the person involved is underage... All they need is enough profit at the end of the day...
Thirdly, the main interest when online casinos were developed was to ease the stress of moving up and down to either book games or claim winnings...

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

I believe these days, gender is not important anymore when it comes to going inside a land-based casino.
Time is changing and people are getting used to different lifestyles, different approach in life.
And yes, owners don't care about your gender preference, so long you are not making any trouble and spending your own money.
Maybe, if you go into a casino in a fairly remote area, where people knew each other, there will be talks behind your back.
But if you are going to a casino in the city, this kind of worry goes away. People are also changing their mindset when it comes to this aspect.

Gender is not an important factor, but people haven't got the transition. Even now they follow the age-old thoughts and keep up the discrimination. Equality should be found everywhere. It shouldn't be limited within specific gender or community. Its not the person's mistake. Nothing offensive, at times they want themselves to be shown unique and such mentality makes people to keep them separate. So, they were also a reason for the discrimination.

^^ They had their chances to bundle up Sri Lanka cheaply but spinners didn't play their part.

In fact, they looked quite toothless throughout the day, except for a few deliveries misbehaving due to uneven bounce. Close to 20 overs were lost due to rain, which kinda helped SL. Although the match is in balance for now and Pakistan can turn the tide in their favor if Shaheen digs in his first spell.

Sri Lanka was basically saved by the fifth of the sixth wicket partnership. Sri Lanka has scored 242 the loss of six wickets. On the next day, they are still going to have four weekends in the end. Hopefully, Sri Lanka still has the chance to perform really well and get a good total on the board. DeSilva was going on well along with the wicketkeeper. But sadly the sixth wicket fell. De Silva is on the verge of getting a century. I honestly believe he will easily get to his hundred on the next day.

My question is will Sri Lanka be able to reach 300? I think it will be very tough, but as long as De Silva is there, it is possible. But he will need some support from the other end.

Wickets continued to fall, performance from Angelo Mathews and De Silva have helped the team overcome the critical situation. Now they've reached better score and De Silva still on the crease. More four wickets left will surely bring another 50-100 runs. Shaheen Afridi is in good form taking wickets at the right time interval. He had taken 3 wickets of Openers Madushka, Karunaratne and Mendis.

Match is going to be tough as Sri Lanka doesn't have the perfect bowling line-up. Lets see how Sri Lanka will manage to stand against Pakistan once the batting is opened.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 16, 2023, 11:04:38 PM
It's difficult to self-regulate from discipline because gamblers probably won't think about being disciplined with time, in fact many gamblers forget the time when playing gambling, so I don't think that alarm clocks can help us fully when we have to start gambling and when to stop gambling , it all has to be from our own self-awareness to regulate emotions from the heart so that we can control everything.

I think the most effective way is to limit the budget so that it is not too wasteful and waste money on unnecessary gambling, when the budget money runs out always remember that gambling wisely and always consistent with the limits that have been set because with that it can help us be more disciplined during be lived consistently and this is a healthy pattern of gambling.
Discipline is such a hard thing to do especially if you are on the adrenaline of a winning streak.
Just recently I felt it when I hit 3 times x400 in my favorite Keno game. 6 numbers, that's all I need out of my 7 picks. (7 hits will be x800) I kept on going thinking about another x400 will come out but even after all the winnings were depleted, it never came out again. Again, discipline. Knowing when to stop. Giving the time to rest after a win. These are hard things to do when you are in the moment of feeling lucky.

I have a budget too. That's given. Once it's depleted, I will never chase a loss. But it's just sad that we can stop there but won't be able to withdraw in our winning moments. I think learning when to stop after a win should also be learned so that we can create a budget for our next gambling session and not just be out of our personal pockets all the time.
Discipline is most important thing with gambling. This is the place where most of the gamblers end up their hard earned money. The start and stop point in gambling is very important. In between we should also know when to take a break, at the very beginning of wagering we can understand whether this gonna be good day or not. If something is disturbing to stop wagering just do it. Never gamble by force.

Nowadays people are much into sports betting which doesn't lead to addiction all of the sudden as it is possible to enjoy wins based on the information we've got related to the particular sports and team players involved.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 16, 2023, 10:57:10 PM
When money gets prioritised we can't explain anymore to the person. They'll have an understanding and they'll follow it. Gambling for fun needs to be the mentality, in such scenario we can be sure that such problems won't arise. Another thing we should have the better understanding about the fellow gambler and make plans of combined bets. Fighting at the end doesn't gonna get the problem solved and it leads to break of relationship.
445  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 10:51:08 PM
There are methods to fight against money laundering and there are KYC, and AML rules on many gambling platforms for obvious reasons. If the gambler uses wagering methods to launder money, it is easily detectable by the system after withdrawing big amounts. So I doubt it is a good idea to use gambling sites for this purpose. There are other methods they use mostly NFT industry, AFAIK. Just my 2 cents.
Amidst all these technical things money laundering still continues through the gambling industry. There are gambling sites in which the insiders help with it for a big commission. This is very rare to find, apart from that we were able to see huge deposits that are converted to gambling chips and used. Later the same gets withdrawn, which is the common form practised all around. Whatever the restrictions, people continue to find loopholes and get into these kind of activities.

if the site is strict in complying with the regulations regarding AML+KYC, they can easily catch a gambler who is using the site for money laundering purposes. they can actually see the large deposits and the games history of the person and their withdrawal frequencies. that is, if the site cares for their compliance, but if not, people can easily get away with it.
Gambling platforms can't easily make a statement on a person for money laundering. The deposit and withdrawal frequencies can be considered as a reason, but the same can be requested for clarification as Whale gamblers usually deposit and withdraw huge funds. Making a tag of money laundering on those gamblers will surely create some negative impression over the platform from the Whale players. This could affect the business, so platforms handle it in a much smoother way.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 16, 2023, 10:46:15 PM
You can't rely on a game of chance as your main or major source of income. This is the worst decision you would make. I would understand it if you were talking about games where skills may give you some advantage, like poker and other card games. However, even if you have the required skills and master the game, you should never make it your main source of income because the results will not please you.

Even if the gambler has the related skills, I doubt anyone can win the same game with consistent winnings. I haven't seen such a gambler, there isn't a concrete proven track record. Card games and poker are based on skills&luck but no one is going to win all games by being lucky consistently, IMO. Mastering the game is the myth and gamblers not going to beat house edge, IMO.
Consistent winning is not at all possible with gambling. Even the expert who doesn't care about the wagering amount fails, people use different tricks and strategies. These things doesn't work all the time. For this we need to be lucky and even the luckiest to win big jackpot losses. This is how the platforms were developed, if not within short time period these gambling houses would've gone bankrupt.
447  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 09:36:31 PM
I'm not sure how how is this happening around. Through some means there is big chance available to make untaxed money reach different destinations. In my country one incident took place and the police caught the people involved on the same day. The money involved is stolen money. Two persons have involved, they've played one on one match. Here one person losses and the other wins.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 15, 2023, 11:59:34 PM
We are been threatened to stop gambling only when we are observed making loses in every game we stake although it is not something expected to be gaining always that is why it is termed GAMBLING. I can remember while we were still kids our parents would not want to see us in any gambling hall and will even threaten to disown us at a point if you are been caught gambling you will be troubled and may even decide not to go home but as time goes on they began to understand the reasons for our interest in gambling and also discovered that we were never addict but risk takers

I think that disowning one child for that reason is going a little bit too far, from my point of view.  Perhaps, It is something I would expect to see in families which have very deep religious roots, both Islamic and Christian. Actually, very conversative Christians do not allow their children to play table games which those include a dice, because in their eyes, their children and being slowly being pushed towards gambling through Monopoly, Ludo, etc. To me does not make much sense, but to each their own...

There are really religious families that don't allow their kids to gamble not just totally because of the religious belief but because as parents, they know what's best for their kids since they're aware of its risks.
They might have disowning their children as a threat but I guess it's just their way of warning their children to stay away from gambling. However, I don't think they would still that to their adult children especially f they could see that they're gambling respnsibly. Parents only want to protect their family because they know how gambling abuse could ruin lives
This happens and recently one incident that took place in Nigeria is posted on our forum. The son have won a jackpot out of gambling, and his father requested him to give it back to the gambling company. The son did so, and more discussion came out of it. What might be the reason behind the father's decision. It can be to teach the kid about the value of money, gambling is against religious belief, he might get addicted and never focus on work and lead the life. Many things and the very primary one is to make the kid understand the negative part of gambling which we won't realise at the beginning.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 15, 2023, 11:50:02 PM
From experts view those are the required elements to stay away from gambling. With the realtime things might vary. My experience on gambling have taught me, understand gambling, not to get greedy, never go behind the losses. If your mind have started to go behind losses, then you be sure that you're on the wrong track. Anytime the gambling could kill your funds. Prepare your mind to accept loss and take a break than chasing loss.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin on: July 15, 2023, 11:41:30 PM
I have been thinking about trading in Bitcoin for quite some time now. I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time but am still thinking about investing here. I used to run DPS in the bank for 30 dollars per month for 5 years, this DPS will complete 5 years this month. I'll get roughly $1800, I don't think it's much of a savings to keep that money in the bank. Bangladesh is suffering from a severe dollar crisis due to which many banks are likely to go bankrupt. The names of those banks have not yet been published by any mass media. Because of the economic condition of Bangladesh, I want to invest my money in Bitcoin. I still don't understand if my decision is right, please let me know your opinion
Being able to save about $1800 for 5 years means you can survive without this money and is likely the money that you can afford to lose. Investing in Bitcoin is a good idea since your local fiat currency is going down in value due to inflation and Bitcoin is an inflation hedge. All I have to say is that investment in digital currency like Bitcoin is risky, and you should be aware of that, don't go all in, invest with good DCA, and be patient with your investment just as you did with the money in the Bank.
Thats really a good saving. As stated op is able to have his life moving without the help of the savings. Investing into bitcoin is really good and the right choice. All around the world inflation is a big problem and op have taken the right decision. Whether it is bitcoin or something else, we shouldn't expect the return out of the investment at the shortest and it need to be given time. So long term focus is much important and we should be careful to enjoy profit, if there is growth happening in between.
451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: July 15, 2023, 11:31:31 PM
I think regardless of the situation and market conditions, in plain view this makes people bored and bored with just cooking the price there, and the increase is also not what people who are good at predicting the market say. But, the positive thing is that BTC still provides an opportunity for everyone to own this potential asset for 2023. Yes. adding to the number and no predictions have proven so accurate that 2023 will be this BTC and 2024 will be this way despite rumors that Blackrock's CEO describes cryptocurrencies as an "international asset" that will "go beyond one currency and currency evaluation." and the SEC has officially approved Blackrock's Bitcoin spot ETF application, as has Bitwise.
Now that Bitcoin is starting to stabilize at $30K again, you can see how the market is going now that Bitcoin has started moving sideways to defend itself at a better price. I also think that next year the price of Bitcoin will be better than this year with a more significant rate of increase, but as for the rumor you are referring to I still haven't read it now even though it has been suggested that Bitcoin will become an international asset by surpassing currencies others in the future.
The market have been gaining good stability around $30k and now it need to cross price barriers. Crossing everything price barrier require good resistance and we can expect things to happen close to halving. Till that we will see the price on a fluctuating state where the growth happens to some extent and falls back. In between if some negative news rolls out, we'll see the price down to $25k. So, we can't be sure of the price movement. Already bitcoin is an international asset and surpassing traditional currencies value is simply hard.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 15, 2023, 11:20:31 PM
Ethereum has huge potential and despite great competition it is still a big player on the market. In my opinion, in a few years Ethereum may win the race with Bitcoin. Of course, I am not advocating that you invest all your money in it, but I am sure that Ethereum will occupy the main position in my investment basket.
The market of bitcoin and ethereum stand neck to neck. Bitcoin is the leader for the entire cryptocurrency while ethereum stands as the king for the entire altcoins. The suggestion from experts were to have a diversified investment. It is good to hold ethereum along with bitcoins. The price of ethereum is still low and it have got more to grow. Few cryptocurrencies on the market have got proven track record and ethereum is one among them. This makes it a better choice of investment against many other altcoins.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young people should take more advantage of the crypto space. on: July 15, 2023, 11:10:49 PM
I fully agree with you.  Crypto is only going to be more prevalent in all of our lives every year moving forward.  The early you hop on board the better off you will be.  It's just like any other technology first movers always ride the highest of the waves.  Now is still early.
Even in the latter days we'll get opportunity, but we don't know how long we need to wait further to make an entry in the similar price range or down to it. Even now we were able to see two year old kid using a smartphone on their own. When they grow big, they'll be much depending on technology based growth than the traditional ones. By the time the role of bitcoins will be high and demanding.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 15, 2023, 11:02:26 PM
Of course, no one wants to lose money, but as the saying goes, "Use only what you can afford to lose." It means that the money you spend on gambling will not affect your finances. It's like a designated fund for gambling and has a separate for important things. As a result, even if you lose it, your other financial needs will be unaffected.
Maybe 3 out of 10 could stick to this rule whereas the rest will gamble on the go. In reality people just gamble with the allocated fund and loss everything. This is where the real problem starts, as majority wants the loss to be recovered. Here the user will start using the money kept aside for his life needs. This is how gamblers easily get out of the slogan use money that you can afford to loss. The person who have understood well takes a break while the other borrow or use the money for important needs and spend on gambling.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why BITCOIN will never go to ZERO on: July 15, 2023, 10:43:04 PM
Exchanges hold big volume of bitcoin and have control over the user funds, same time there is big volume being placed on decentralised networks. Even at the very worse scenario it is possible to see good number of people using bitcoin and other crypto currencies. This won't let the price drop down to zero. Until the market have circulation the possibility of bitcoin to drop down to zero is nil. We can assume a situation when a particular government takes control of the entire volume of bitcoins mined. Is that possible? No. For more such reasons it is assured that the price won't reach zero.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 14, 2023, 11:42:53 PM
West Indies cricket is at its worst. The management and the cricket board should make the team better. I don't know how they'll generate revenue conducting a match. There is no audience on the ground. If the same match have been played in India, BCCI could've made good revenue out of the match tickets. I don't know whether the interest of people have declined or this is just because it is a test match.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 14, 2023, 11:22:15 PM
Whether it is first time or we've been part of the game for a long, the luck one hold is the major thing. Big winning always gives the hope of earning big out of gambling. For this reason we were able to see good number of people who aren't much into gambling activities. The best part, rich people aren't the majority which makes way for common man winning easily.

458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 13, 2023, 11:59:54 PM
The match between the two young players Alcaraz and Rune were more enjoyable as we were able to watch the energetic performance from both sides. Rune played well, but he couldn't stay on the tournament anymore. The tricky shots and cool movements were nice to watch.
This one hurt my ticket badly, I needed Rune to take one set for everything to pass but Alcaraz was just better in important points. Did not watch the whole thing but parts that I have seen Rune was able to hold his own until Alcaraz shifted gears in important points.

Anyway I have a feeling there will be a lot more matches between these two in the future.

Can't believe bookies see Alcaraz as that big favorite against Medvedev. This is his first good grass season and while I think he will I was expecting odds around 1.6 or even 1.7. Sinner has no chance against Djokovic IMHO, they have similar playstyles only Djokovic is better in every segment.

I think the last time they played each other Sinner was up 2 sets, he won the first two sets and
Djokovic came back and comprehensively beat him . . .

>Quick Search<

Yes Wimbledon last year in one of the quarter finals , the scoring was: 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2

>/Quick Search<

but now some questions are going around my head . . .

Sinner is a way better player now than he was last year, his game has developed a lot -
will it be enough to get him 2 sets up again and carry him one step futrther to get that
3rd set?

has Djokovic improved since last year or is he just more driven, more focussed, more ambitious?
Lets see what's going to happen in the finals. Sinner have improved than the previous year. Same time for a question raised after the match, Djokovic have answered he's the favourite for the season. There is no doubt, but it shows how confident is he. Along with the same he mentioned just because I'm stating myself the favourite doesn't mean I'm arrogant. This is really very positive and shows his self discipline.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: July 13, 2023, 11:59:18 PM
Rather than cheating it is all about utilising the opportunity. It is really hard to win against the machines. There are people who are skilled enough to cheat the machines through learning. I don't have the patience to learn as well as try against the gambling machines that are completely focused on profit making. I will go with fixed bets, because in the past I've won with fixed bets information shared on our forum. I'm not sure how far the bet is real information or coincidence, but I was able to win a fixed bet.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 13, 2023, 11:58:29 PM
Feeling remorse comes after you lose, not before you gamble Grin every gamblers always believe that they will win and they lost money only to end in depression and regrets, there are certain rules to gambling that every gamblers must take very serious.
That is what happens to many people who gamble. At first, they feel confident and say that today is their lucky day, so let's gamble. But after playing a few games, they lose more and more, so they regret it. That's common, but that doesn't deter them or rest for a while after losing. They even returned to play and wanted revenge for their loss yesterday. And they indeed lost money, but they are still okay even though they were sorry. We don't have to do that, and if we regret it, we should try to reduce our gambling to avoid bigger losses.
It is the reality of gambling and it takes time for them to understand the reality. People try to stay positive, beyond some point automatically they'll loss the patience. This is where they loss control and increase the bet Value to recover what is being lost. Some find lucky whereas the majority end up losing everything in the wallet. This is where the person think, we should have stopped earlier so that the loss could've got limited. When we think we don't have anything to loss. Thinking at the right time will make gambling enjoying and don't get into guil.
