1261  Other / Off-topic / Re: Get to know the Child Phase before teaching Bitcoin and Financial Management. on: January 01, 2023, 09:08:10 PM
From the age 1 kids starts to understand what is money. Because most of the kids were given with piggy bank and asked to save what is being given to them by parents and relatives. Some used to follow it, some used to break the piggy bank  Cheesy

By the age of 2 the kids will somehow know about saving, and the kids start learning how to count and all. This is the stage were learning begins. These days kids are being taught with tabs and other devices which according to me is not required.

Teaching kids need to be made interesting. Only then learning will be effective. As suggested slowly introducing about money can be done, but the effective teaching should be after 10 years of age.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 01, 2023, 08:09:45 PM
Loneliness drives people towards gambling. A common man who is into gambling will surely think of gambling and makes his entry when he is lonely. I've personally experienced it and gambling with some reason ends in loss whereas gambling for fun used to bring winning from the event.

The best part of the gambling is to enjoy the moment, but most of the time this won't happen as people gamble to make money and not for fun or just as an excitement factor.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 07:54:41 PM
We can't be judgemental on the result of the lottery. Its long since lottery being played. For majority of them buying lottery tickets have turned to be a regular one. Even now there are daily wage people who allocate and keep the amount to buy lottery separately. Whether this is. smart move or waste of time depends on the activity of the users.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 31, 2022, 04:28:33 PM
I recently had to go check the responsible gambling feature and I think it's really a very nice idea and concept to help safe more losses and I think if we'll implored one wouldn't have to make more of losses.
I'm also on the opinion that people shouldn't ever chase their losses no matter how painful the  losses  could be.
One of the reasons I think that leads people into chasing of their losses is using money one can't afford to lose and when the result isn't the case with what was expected, at the end one begins to chase loses and end up blowing accounts and making regrets
This is the reality happening with majority of the gamblers. One out of 100 get to be lucky to recover what he/she have lost out of gambling. As said going behind the losses to make a recovery is the start towards the blowup of funds. For users who weren't able to keep them under control can atleast try to take a break. This will help the gambler realise and do the right thing than chasing the losses.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 31, 2022, 04:00:53 PM
Finance or no finance.

I believe Pakistani White ball cricket is in safe hands. They have an abundance of resources in fast bowling so no matter what, they will bring any random kid and he'll do wonders in the white ball, after a couple of years someone else will replace him and this cycle will go on due to the vast raw fast bowling pool.

The problem will come in Test cricket only.
Importance to test cricket will cause improvements among the players. As said someone keeps replacing the white ball bowling, but the same isn't working out with test cricket. To make the board financially strong takes time, until then it is the players who need to give the best to the nation. Even now Pakistan team isn't that worse with test cricket, because the losses weren't that bad.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is left of Bitcoin as a tool to free the financial world on: December 31, 2022, 03:53:07 PM
The reason for which Satoshi innovated bitcoin have got fulfilled, but the same to be the mainstream won't happen all of the sudden. Just think the evolution of the financial system. From barter system the technology have taken it to the cryptocurrency usage. However the fiat usage stands high against each and every form of payment being used around.

To take the position of fiat is not an easy thing. The acceptance of bitcoin is getting increased compared to the past. This shows the financial world requires more time for its complete transition.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: December 30, 2022, 11:45:09 PM

So what do you think about this cashless gambling, is this another breakthrough of the gambling industry or just a way of the government to track their citizen and earn from the gambling establishment.
They are just taking another step just for them to filter out thoroughly for these establishments wont be able to bypass or skip out on paying taxes or simply those obligation.I would rather say that this would really be a

desperate move if ever they would be implementing out that cashless gambling or simply trying out to link up all of your bank accounts and credit cards with this.Of course we do know that everything could be checked and could be seen. There's no way you could really hid yourself on this kind of system and this is where crypto gambling would really be more relevant or would be in demand because
not all gamblers would really be that accepting this kind of terms.
This is really an appreciable move from the government to increase its revenue. Same time it is good in another way, as it is possible to see good number of people moving towards the usage of cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms for their gambling needs. This gives the users the best experience as well as there is no need of fearing the government's plan to make money.
1268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: December 30, 2022, 11:40:38 PM
This year Bitcoin price is stabilized at around 16,000 + which is a good resistant level and a benchmark that represents previous years' bullish all-time high price.
Is this an indication of the bullish market in the year 2023 where Bitcoin will break 20,000 in the early weeks of the year?
NO, Bitcoin price is never stable around $16k all year round. The price is stuck around $16k-$17k just in the last few months of this year. It seems to have no change until this year is over, Bitcoin price will stay around $16k at the end of the last day of 2022. Well, I'm not surprised about this, 2022 is the first year of the bearish season, so we can't hope for a significant change at the end of this year.

I don't think BTC price will pass $20k in the early weeks of 2023. It requires time, if there is a lot of good news, $20k may be achieved in the second month or third month of 2023.

Good news might impact the directions of the market but needed as well with support of both investors and traders, we can speculate what might be the potential in the next following months, but we can't conclude that there's a quick market reversal that may take place, be ready in whatever the market condition next year, also anticipate that the chance of seeing another downfall can happen.

Patience and more research, key factors are always showing indication either it will bring the pump or it will lead to another dump.

Better to put all your knowledge before making any decision to avoid losing a lot of your investment.
Patience is the key factor with cryptocurrency, how far this gives positive result depends on the activities happening around the market. Patience along with learning and observation about the market is required. This will ease the process of holding and help with the increasing demand.
1269  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect of the FIFA world cup on Qatar's economy on: December 30, 2022, 11:36:20 PM
Qatar hosting the world cup wasn't all about the money all along. Qatar is an abundantly rich nation, even though it may appear to be a financial loss when you ratio the amount spent to the profit gained but it's not. They've only just invest and the yield of their investment will be massive in few years to come.

They've done a great job in bringing exposure from all over the world to their country and the ripple effect of that exposure will bring more people to their country from tourists to investors to all kinds of taxable products and services that are currently not in operation. And as such, they will eventually make profits in the long run.
Qatar being rich out of its oil wealth was in need of recognition and fame. Hosting the world cup Qatar achieved it. Qatar have spend big on hosting the 2022 world cup and the same have caused big flow of economy into the country. I'm not sure how far the same works as the world cup have got completed.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 29, 2022, 11:11:14 PM
Bearish trend is part of the market movement. For this reason whether the market is bullish or bearish, just enjoy it. Every bear market is followed by a bull market. It is a must to enjoy the market movements and try to make an earning out of the volatile market unlike the market trend. Patience is the only key required to enjoy the outcome of the bear market, which is the the beginning of bull market.
1271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 29, 2022, 11:07:36 PM
People's expectation is for price pumping, but the reality differs completely. According to experts the market is moving on a four year cycle. Taking the same into consideration the market is predicted to make its move on the bullish side. Right now we've been experiencing the decline. This could continue to the low bottom from which the upside move gets started.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: December 29, 2022, 11:03:46 PM
Having an futuristic view is always must. It is not with the upcoming month bills, but with each and every activity we need to follow the plan of spending based on what all expense we're supposed to make in the upcoming month. This will help us with better learning and avoid unwanted expenses that saves good fund when the same process is being followed long-term.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you taken lessons? on: December 29, 2022, 11:00:17 PM
I learned that no centralized services should be fully trusted.  If we wanted to invest, invest on Bitcoin, buy it and never keep it on exchanges.  Investing on centralized services and give 100% trust on them is another way of wasting money because sooner or later this centralized services will file bankruptcy.

Centralised services will be prioritising fame and money than anything else. For this reason when we use an exchange we should know the limitations as well as try the maximum to keep our funds on custodial wallets than holding it on Exchanges. Because, we don't know what happens next. In no time things change completely and lost is lost.
1274  Other / Off-topic / Re: Team USA will play in the Philippines for the FIBA WORLD CUP 2023 on: December 26, 2022, 11:44:33 PM

Looks like others really questioning the capability of Pinoys to spend big on big events like this. Better stop that average salary discussion lol.

Believe me, the venue will be jam-packed once the event commences here. There are lots of people here in the country who can afford to buy that tickets for that once-in-a-lifetime experience as it's unclear when it will happen again in the future.

Don't stick too much with the idea that Pinoys can't handle the ticket cost. It's "TEAM USA" we are talking about here.
Agreed, the discussion is about the USA team and things have got moved on different direction.

In the FIFA World Cup it is not the people from Qatar alone. People who have been agonizing to watch World Cup football got an opportunity, so many from the neighbouring countries made a visit as it is affordable. The same can't reach USA for the upcoming football World Cup and bear the expenses.

Same as that it is not about the Philippines people, we'll see good number of viewers from outside the country. For them reaching Philippines and spending won't be big compared to the first world countries. So, it is not about the ability of the pinoy. It is an opportunity for pinoy and for the people around Philippines .
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: December 26, 2022, 11:07:01 PM
The representative reaction of a bear market is market sentiment, which is currently at an all-time low. Everyone's confidence has been severely lacking, so there is no need to say some words of encouragement. But I think this is a normal phenomenon, although the price of bitcoin has gone from 68000 to 17000 now. I have a hypothesis, if the Russo-Ukraine war continues, the world becomes more chaotic, the US is involved, and the US has always maintained a positive attitude on the Taiwan issue. Then the Russian Cuban base is restarted. Then the price of Bitcoin will be even worse, and if it happens, it is no longer a question of whether it is a bull market or a bear market.
Words of encouragement is needed in times like this where people's confidence is getting lower but there are some experts who didn't do it because doing so can make the price recover again. They could only do this later on once they are done buying more coins.

Yes, situations like this are normal but bear market are the ones who are inevitable while the frauds and scams happening around can possibly be avoided. Russian-Ukraine war is an old issue and people have already recovered from that but there are more latest issues that we are currently facing which contributes to the fall of the market. No, the bear market isn't over yet and it might take some time for it to end so all must have patience.

Yes this is a very important points, crypto experts and whale's will try to keep silent or even spread some indirect fud to keep the price at low levels so they take the opportunity to buy the dip, elon musk said " Bitcoin will make it but might be a long winter " and that's a perfect example of a soft FUD
Influencers try to benefit out of the market FUD. This time we won't experience any big movement out of the Influencers, because the proper learning have made people believe in cryptocurrency and hold even when more negative news got rolled around the market. In the past in such situation more number of users leave the market. Nowadays it is hard to see users leaving the market for which new users keeps getting into the market.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2022, 05:24:17 PM
That world cup will be crazy because traveling between 3 countries to watch the games isn't a good option for all. I have no idea why FIFA decide to make it this way, but I don't like at all the format.

Even for the players will be complex to play in Mexico in high altitudes and hot temperatures, and then move to Canada for another match at low temperatures. I can't imagine the teams who get to the final, traveling each 2 days on plain, that would be hard for them.
Now itself the players should focus on playing at different climatic conditions in the consecutive matches with little rest. This is really hard for the players to perform well, because they need to adopt to the changing climatic conditions in a short time period. More 16 teams make it more interesting and gives opportunity to more new teams.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 26, 2022, 05:04:55 PM
I would have refused if he had asked me to play his money in the casino. I'd better advise him to keep the money because there's no guarantee we'll make any money gambling. Especially if it is a roulette game, we know that the game is based on luck, and if we don't have luck, we will lose and spend all the money without recovering it. It wouldn't be good if he saw defeat and lost all his money or only lost half of all his money still wouldn't make him feel good. And that can trigger him to try to recover his losses by placing another bet.

Without luck the outcome will always be on the favor of the house, better to advise not continue or use his money instead and let him enjoy whatever the outcome instead of letting him force you to play in hs behalf, roulette is something that you might win again if luck is there to back you up, but if there's none then expect to suffer and lose your capital.
Luck is the deciding factor in gambling. It is always good to play with one's own fund. We don't have assurance of winning a bet, if it is our own money whether we loss or win it won't disturb us. When we play with friend's money, if we win it brings happiness. If the bets loss, it'll surely make our mind get disturbed even if the friend didn't take it wrong.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 26, 2022, 04:48:08 PM
Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers
Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers, 16th match is playing on the field. Adelaide Strikers Won the Toss and Opt to Bat. Adelaide Strikers have been able to score 133 runs by batting 20 overs. Low scoring is more likely to lose Adelaide Strikers in this match. But all the games have sane calculations such as that if the early wickets can be lifted, then there will be the possibility of win in this match.
Perth scorchers have won the match, but it didn't come easily. Continuous fall of wickets have gave chance for Adelaide Strikers to win the match. At the low order Andrew Tye made 48 runs out of 38 balls. This runs came at the right time, if not the match might've been won by Adelaide Strikers.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 26, 2022, 04:07:12 PM
I think the change of sarfaraz in place of Rizwan give a huge strength to Pakistani batting lineup, this is the first change of new chief selector Shahid Afraid and it's worth.
we know Rizwan is phenomenal player he build too much record in few years and placed himself on first spot in T20 batter ranking. But from his performance it's clear that he is best in short format cricket like T20 and ODI rather than performing in test matches, ln recent World cups and Asia Cup he was the only performer after baber who help team in difficult situation.

Pakistan recovered nicely after losing 3 early wickets today. Pakistan at the moment is 243/4, and what a come back by Sarfraz after 4 years. He is not out on 84 along with Babar, who is on 145. I don't know much about the pitch, but stats telling that this must be a balanced pitch that has something for both bowlers and batsmen. Pakistan will try to avoid third consecutive home series loss.
Great comeback and the batting from Babar Azam is as usual. There is a saying Pakistan is a team that depends on very few players. Even in today's match this has been proven with the performance of Babar Azam when team is struggling to maintain good partnership. End of 85 overs Pakistan have scored 306 runs with 153* from Babar Azam and 86* from Sarfaraz.
Sarfaraz's selection by Pakistan's chief selector was welcomed. Sarfraz Ahmed is an extremely reliable player, so I had no doubt he would do well in test matches. While Sarfaraz was unable to convert 86 to a century, Babaz Azam finished the day on a high note as Pakistan finished with a solid score. Babar Azam and Sarfaraz should not always bail out the opening batters. While Sarfaraz missed out on his well-deserved century, he played a superb knock. Pakistan are 317/5 after 90 overs
Everyone expected a century from Sarfaraz, but he missed it. However a big game for him after a big break. As mentioned, the selection committee needs to be appreciated for giving opportunity. In the first day end making 317 runs is really good. Being on the home ground have advantage over New Zealand. We can expect similar performance from New Zealand too, upon which the chances of match to end on a draw is high.
1280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 26, 2022, 03:43:34 PM

Yes, one million dollars is a huge amount, so maybe he lost this huge amount and drank alcohol and made a social media post to share his pain. But it's really funny that many people think it's a win and congratulate him on social comment but it's sad for the person who lost a million dollars.

I don't think Drake is really sad about this loss. Yes, 1 million dollar is a lot of money but for a person like Drake this is almost pocket change... He already placed multiple bets like this and won some them but also lost some (he lost a similar amount when Adesanya lost his latest fight).
Thanks for the second monthly bonus Stake!
For Drake it isn't a big loss. Already he have made big bets and have won most of the bets that too placing bets on high odds. He does these bets for entertainment and he's much into multiple bets than single bet.

Stake always keep its users happier amidst the winning and losing. The world is experiencing hard days and one more bonus from Stake makes the Christmas and New Year more enjoyable.
