1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone making 4 or 5 digits (USD) monthly from Crypto Sports betting? on: January 05, 2023, 11:59:53 PM
That's really hard to achieve, because even with sports betting there is need of luck. At times we believe cent percent and go with the odds, but the underdog wins causing big loss. Closer prediction can be made and it is a must to watch the match throughout to minimize the loss through live betting if our prediction haven't won.

With sports betting there is always the need for data collection with which close prediction can be made. If not we need to go with high bet amount on lower odds. For @1.1 and the bet value need to be $1000 to earn $100 which is high risk betting.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 05, 2023, 11:32:47 PM
I still haven’t tried this out yet to see how it could work, but I do like all the discussion surrounding it. Personally, I don’t see why using AI would be any different than betting with a newsletter or following someone else’s picks. Who knows, maybe AI would be better. Without trying it out it’s hard to say, but next time I’m messing with ChatGPT I’m definitely going to give it a little test.

I think when it comes to data collection, analysis, and comparison of every player, if AI has all the access to the data of each team and player, I believe the AI will come up with a better analogy than a veteran analyst.  AI removes emotions that somehow affect a person's view since favoritism vague a person's decision. So personally, I think AI is different from newsletters because it will come up with a better version of analogy and prediction.
AI have entered each and every sector. Now this isn't big to discuss. The usage of AI into gambling industry doesn't look to be more interesting, because it does the prediction based on the data available along with the past results comparison. I don't know whether it'll have the ability to watch the match scenario and predict the outcome according to the situation.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina's Leading Presidential Candidate Preaches Bitcoin on: January 05, 2023, 11:23:06 PM
In my opinion it is just a political approach to getting ahead of his competition by adding something extra to his election campaign. Though I am not a guy who cares about politics or barely understands the political game, but his approach against central banks makes me think of this.

I don't think any president or government don't want to block his way of getting people's money. That is some trap for sure -
Quote
“the Central Bank is a scam. It is a mechanism by which politicians cheat the good people with the inflationary tax.” - Javier Gerardo Milei

i am also thinking that way. maybe he wants to use this marketing campaign to get more votes from his people. definitely, they will still need the services of their Central Bank. he should not play a game that will possibly throw dirty laundry to his government by saying something negative. for sure, he still owns at least one bank account. if he is saying such statement, he should make sure that he doesn't own any money from those banks.
We can't expect loyalty from the politicians. Everyone uses all the possible chances to grab some votes. The same tactics is being followed by the presidential candidate. For the same we shouldn't blame him that he took more time. For a presidential candidate it is really easy to show that he doesn't have any banking account.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 05, 2023, 10:08:25 PM
Good game by Sri Lanka today they batted really well. I have seen Sri Lanka's performance is altogether different when it comes to subcontinent pitches and absolutely different when they go out side it. Probably this is because of their local league as well. Players are acclimatized with playing in the Sub continent conditions but fail to make an impact when they play in England or Australia.
Its like a comeback performance from Sri Lanka. The score that got falling at the mid overs were well compensated. Good performance from batting and bowling lineup. India managed well to reach 206 runs, but they couldn't. The openers and the middle order completely down. There performance is a must to win in these kind of matches.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 02, 2023, 09:34:11 PM
The Argentina team will have to prepare the team without Messi and Di Maria for the next World Cup. Because the chances of both of them playing in the next World Cup are very low.
It's true that Messi and Di Maria are of course too old to participate in the 2026 world cup and that is an opportunity for other young Argentinian players to fill those positions soon. Maybe at this time with the existing Argentina squad it is still possible to continue moving forward, but the role of Messi and Di Maria as creative figures in the Argentinian attack line will be a serious problem if there are no replacements. Maybe in a year or two, new Argentinian young players will appear, coupled with the current squad they will try to defend the world cup title.

I think it is obvious that the Argentinian national team is facing a generational change because it is not realistic that their main players, Di Maria and Messi, will play in the next World Cup in 4 years.
Will new young players be able to replace Messi? I think that is impossible and that Argentina will have to change the style and concept of the game and play more as a team.
After the departure of Pele, Brazil had to wait 24 years for a new world champion title.
Argentina had something special and unique with Messi. Without Messi, they are just another team out of many.

Indeed, you should try to give up Messi as the team's foundation in attack, if they don't immediately get a strategy or new players who can fill the void, it seems that it will be increasingly difficult to defend the world cup title. I'm not sure if Argentina will keep the same performance in the 2022 world cup and surely there will be more and more senior players who might retire, not only messi in that discussion.
As the FIFA World Cup have got over, players will move towards different clubs for their regular championship. Separate team will be playing for the country to get qualified for the FIFA 2026. More players who had been part of the 2022 World Cup won't be available in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. More senior players leave and turn to be the coach and different other positions. And now it's too early to pick the team for each nation.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 02, 2023, 09:28:38 PM
No big plans for the year. Have got lot many commitments, and the same had made me think wise and limit my spending to save good in this year. The scheduled halving is predicted to make good bounce in the market.

Year 2023 is gonna be the days of accumulation. What we save and invest now will bring good profit at the short term. The world economy at the downturn too a reason for the accumulation to be more effective.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: January 02, 2023, 09:24:19 PM
No one is sure about the price move of bitcoin. Based on different predictions and of the four year cycle the year 2024 is calculated to be the year of bullish movement. Upon the same 2023 is predicted to have bullish and bearish movement within specific range. This have made me predict the price of bitcoin to move within $30k throughout the year.
1248  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 02, 2023, 09:21:26 PM
I don't know how to describe this emotion, but every year that passes seems progressively worse than the previous one in a variety of ways. The last few years seem to be going downhill, with something unpleasant occurring every single year. In 2020 and 2021, we suffered enough with Covid-19, in 2022, we thought that we'd possibly get a break, but nope, the war started on February, which was followed by excessive inflation and an economic recession.

We're now entering 2023, and things aren't looking any better. Inflation keeps worsening, energy and oil prices are extremely volatile, while in our case in Greece and Italy, despite MWH being the cheapest it has been since the invasion, we're holding the record for the most expensive energy prices.

On top of that, a few days before 2023, half of the U.S.A. is suffering a terrible blizzard, with temperatures even reaching as low as -50C. Climate change is real, and it's only going to get worse in the following years.

I'm not sure if everything has gone downhill in the past few years or if I'm overexaggerating and making it sound worse than it really is. Perhaps my sitting all alone in my bed on New Year's Eve isn't helping.

Anyway, happy new year to everyone and good luck on your bitcoin endeavors!
Obviously you are just in a state of negativity that’s why you end up over absorbing all the negative incidents that had happened in the whole world. And definitely, this will not bring any good for you, even to all of us. As a matter of fact, I don’t see everything going downhill, although there are some of those that we can’t do nothing but to leave them where they are right now. Just don’t dwell in negativity, otherwise you’ll be left behind because you were too busy thinking of them while others have already made great decisions that made them advanced and ahead of you.
Everytime we can't be positive. At times the negativity too gains value. What we encounter with bitcoin is the same. We need to observe the market and if something negative is happening around it is time to make it as an opportunity. Not many of them does it, because the panic will always be a hurdle for them. With cryptocurrency people will be left behind if they weren't able to take risks.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 09:14:29 PM
I moved from sports betting towards casino. When I was into sports betting I was in good luck to win more, but the same isn't working out with casino games. In the past I spend on sports betting and watch the matches. It used to be very interesting and the instant win/loss made me focus on casino games and I wasn't able to move into sports betting.

Whether it is sports betting or casino games, we need to be lucky to mark the best. In reality this won't be coinciding with every gambler. I believe soon I'll experience the better old days of sports betting.

26th Match Big Bash today match between Hobart Hurricanes vs Adelaide is not clear which team will win the game. Adelaide Strikers are batting now. Scored 74 runs in 10 overs and lost 1 wicket. Adelaide Strikers batsman Matthew Short is in this match. Durdanta opened the game and scored 37 runs off 24 balls.
Hobart Hurricanes is in a reliable place in this match. Hobart Hurricanes will have an easy win in this match if no mishaps happen. Hobart Hurricanes managed to score 127 in 12 overs against Adelaide Strikers target of 177 runs. Now Hobart Hurricanes need 50 runs in 46 balls to win. Caleb Jewell and Ben McDermott's aggressive batting Hobart Hurricanes manage to reduce the set run distance in few overs, so it is expected that Hobart Hurricanes will win this match.
Hobart Hurricanes won this match by 7 wickets. Hobart Hurricanes managed to score 178 runs in 17.2 overs very easily. If there was a target of 200 runs in today's match, maybe Hobart Hurricanes would have crossed that run and won. Hobart Hurricanes batted very well.  Caleb Jewell batted brilliantly. He was dismissed for 54 off 28 balls. Ben McDermott made 53 off 33 balls.
Every match is close and we were able to see every matches getting good scores. This makes the audience to watch the matches. Hobart Hurricanes have lost just three wickets and they've played the match in a much easier way without pressure. Leading T20 league, but it looks like the support is low than what we see with IPL. Does any of you have similar thought.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I now accept bitcoin payments in my Beauty shop on: January 02, 2023, 09:00:03 PM
I was very lucky to see this post. There are several places near my home where BTC can be exchanged for US dollars. There were none last year. I think this is the process of the encryption industry that happened around me.

That's just a sign that Bitcoin is becoming more adopted into the society and we do hope the adoption rate continues to increase because it's surely going to affect the grow of Bitcoin ecosystem as a whole.
And if the growth continues to increase with experiencing any decline in a couple of years Bitcoin will become accepted globally and might even become popular than the Dollar.
Global adoption of bitcoin is taking place in a faster way than past days. In most cases they look for legal framework that makes the adoption little difficult. However few of the African countries are quite strong in cryptocurrency usage. As we were able to see QR code generated through banks for payments we can see bitcoin payment through scanning in most of the stores. What our forum members were doing is really big thing.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't dying, it's alive. on: January 02, 2023, 08:54:33 PM
I don't know how people under any Moorish and intellectual authority can say and affirm that bitcoin is dying, and they are people of great respect and who have a lot of empathy with their followers for being gentlemen with great intelligence, but the fact that people can make a difference by saying that bitcoin is worthless, when they are closing the doors to people who don't know much about investments and about how to solve their own bonds, I have a friend who is a housewife, she cleans houses at home, she I said to buy bitcoin and she did, and the price has dropped, but she doesn't tell me that she's sorry, I made her believe in bitcoin and that she had to wait for the best times that will come in a moment.
Yeah, why these people are always with a thought that stands against the bitcoin. Everything have got ups and downs which is the real growth. With bitcoin people weren't able to accept it. When the market crashes it is death and in auch a way bitcoin dies often. People who have understood never take it in such a way.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: January 02, 2023, 08:49:11 PM
Consider it as providing additional payment option to the clients. At any choice never misunderstand adding bitcoin as payments will bring profit. One thing what we do now will reflect in the future. Maybe now we don't make money out of cryptocurrency into business as there is not much of people using it. With time this will change and at some point we'll see regular payments happening through bitcoin. It is like keeping ourselves prepared for the future advancement of business.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 01, 2023, 09:45:55 PM
Yes, I agree with you. There is a problem with test cricket, which is that you need a certain amount of skills in order to be able to execute the plans that you have made. In spite of that, if you are giving this job to a young player, he is most likely not experienced enough to be able to put the plan into effect as you planned.
But in one-day internationals or T20 cricket, that is not necessary, because the batsman is most likely to play shots anyway. It is true that test cricket is a form of cricket where the margin for error is really low. And experience is much needed in test cricket.
Young local bowler has a better chance to outbowl overseas bowler (spin or pace) but only if you are bold enough to provide them with better conditions to bowl.

I bet if PCB had the guts to create fast pitches which they already do in domestic and against Bangbros etc then these last 3 series would've been very competitive.

The Pakistan cricket board did not give any chance to the bowlers with the kind of pitch that they created. Almost all of them were flat. I am also quite sure that if the Pakistan cricket board actually took some risk and tried to give the bowlers the pitch that they wanted, I believe Pakistani bowlers could have shown a good performance.

But they just got hit for runs here and there. There was no way even a good or even a top-class bowler could have performed very well in this condition. Pakistan cricket board should start showing some confidence in their own players.
Making pitches to favour them is not at all the right way. Every home team does it and even Pakistan could've done it. We don't know the reality and India is the best to do it. Whatever the pitch might be, it is the performance from the player that needs to come out. Just look at Kane Williamson, he played his natural game and if he had done it in the fourth innings he could've suffered because the pitch varies. So, making pitch favour is not the way to boost confidence in players.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 01, 2023, 09:40:51 PM
Alexander Zverev has now made his first game at the United Cup in Australia. Unfortunately he lost it. He lost against #81 Lehecka in two sets with 4:6 and 2:6. His serve in particular had many errors and he probably needs a lot more match practice. That a not good conditions for the Australian Open.
Young Jiri Lehecka 21 years of age have won against Alexander Zverev 6-4 and 6-2 which is completely unexpected. As said this is not what is being expected for the Australian Open. There is big expectation around and these kind of performance will disappoint the followers. Lets see what gonna happen next with the new year.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 01, 2023, 09:35:01 PM
Even if it is way too early for this thread I really hate the idea of where they are going.

2-3 countries for a World cup is absurd in my opinion.

Imagine a guy who wants to follow the dream and wants to watch the 7 games until the final... he needs to travel the half-world for it, and pay a lot of extra money for it.
The extra money is one thing. Next one is the Visa process, it isn't easy to enter these countries same as one enters Qatar or an Asian country. The upcoming FIFA World Cup will surely be a big hurdle for each and everyone who have got plans to watch it. Anyhow we've got more years and the countries might come with more plans to ease out things.
1257  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 01, 2023, 09:30:24 PM
Bonuses were availed based on the wagering done by the respective gambler in specific time period. When it comes to weekly, it depends on the wagering done during the past 7 days. When it comes to monthly, it is based on the complete month's wager.

For users who have lost big amount beyond certain number can be chosen for a raffle and the winner among them can be settled with some good bonus every month/week. This will atleast help one of the gambler to get out of big financial loss.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: January 01, 2023, 09:22:39 PM
It is not just cryptocurrency, any form of investment is risky and not for the weak.

Yeah, Every investments have its own risk, and it is quite a pity that so many person lost their money in the past year, but that's part of life. I hope 2023 will bring us better fortune.
Investment is subject to risk and things vary between time according to the market. Every investment have got its peak and bottom. In all means I see XRP as the best, because the valuation have dropped to a small margin. This shows how precise the market is being manipulated.

All that is being mentioned weren't the losses, they are the decline in the valuation of the holdings. This will change when the market turn bullish. So, these are not losses.

1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is it with Africa and Bitcoin on: January 01, 2023, 09:12:55 PM
Africa have turned itself as a major hub for financial technology development for various reasons. The major one being the large number of people under the un-banked sector. Next thing is the inflation. The inflation have made them carry big bundles of money to buy little goods. With bitcoin these difficulties were easily overcome and people doesn't want to depend on the banks. African countries have got good resources, but they weren't used in the right way.
