1281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2022, 03:33:57 PM
Fiat in today's world have turned to be an inevitable one for its usage on each and everything. The usage would've got limited if fiat haven't got the digitised usage access. Fiat transactions were made easier through mobile wallets and other banking applications.

Bitcoin access and acceptance around the world is very low in percentage compared to the fiat used all around. We're into very beginning days of bitcoin into real-time usage. So, for a long we'll have the dependence over fiat.

I think the change of sarfaraz in place of Rizwan give a huge strength to Pakistani batting lineup, this is the first change of new chief selector Shahid Afraid and it's worth.
we know Rizwan is phenomenal player he build too much record in few years and placed himself on first spot in T20 batter ranking. But from his performance it's clear that he is best in short format cricket like T20 and ODI rather than performing in test matches, ln recent World cups and Asia Cup he was the only performer after baber who help team in difficult situation.

Pakistan recovered nicely after losing 3 early wickets today. Pakistan at the moment is 243/4, and what a come back by Sarfraz after 4 years. He is not out on 84 along with Babar, who is on 145. I don't know much about the pitch, but stats telling that this must be a balanced pitch that has something for both bowlers and batsmen. Pakistan will try to avoid third consecutive home series loss.
Great comeback and the batting from Babar Azam is as usual. There is a saying Pakistan is a team that depends on very few players. Even in today's match this has been proven with the performance of Babar Azam when team is struggling to maintain good partnership. End of 85 overs Pakistan have scored 306 runs with 153* from Babar Azam and 86* from Sarfaraz.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what proof must one have to identify himself as Nakamoto Satoshi? on: December 25, 2022, 06:44:08 AM
What is the point of wanting to even know who the real Satoshi when it is obvious anyone can claim to be anybody these days. He should remain anonymous, that's good enough. For me, I would not believe if anyone comes out today with proof that he is Satoshi.
There is no need to find who the real Satoshi. Everyone having an expectation to see the real Satoshi is common thing. Staying anonymous is the what the network requires. Quite often we used to encounter different people coming up with the claim of being the real Satoshi. Nowadays that too have reduced as no one is able to prove themselves real Satoshi. Till the year 2120 this discussion will go on, and at some point conclusion will be reached assuming Satoshi to be dead.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: December 25, 2022, 05:54:00 AM
Buying Bitcoin with loan is not advisable. Atleast you should've bought it little by little than buying it as a whole. This could've helped you buy at a better price as well as on an average range. Anyhow the plan to hold atleast for 2 years will give assured profit out of the investment. For the two year tenure you should have the right plan to repay the interest, because at some loan the unpaid interest gets added to the capital beyond certain months of delay to pay interest.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: December 25, 2022, 05:21:24 AM
....................................
Still, this doesn't rid us of the fact that the change caused huge detriments in the short-term for El Salvador

OK? maybe, not sure, but it is no less than a planetary challenge...El Salvador opening a new path...with all the difficulties.
a wind of change for latin america..may it succeed..
El Salvador stands as the root for the planetary change. Everywhere there'll be users who stand in favour of the adoption as well as stands opposing it. The reality comes out of the economic situation prevailing in the country out of the same. For now the downturn of the crypto market have placed El Salvador in a bad position according to market analysts. El Salvador government have cleared it with the data, what is being mentioned as loss by most weren't even 1% of their budget. So, in the long term the seed sown will give the fruits and we shouldn't expect the seed to be sown and the fruits by tomorrow.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 25, 2022, 04:20:22 AM
It is unusual to expect Bangladesh to win in these conditions. 100 runs is not much. But when 4 wickets fall for 45 runs, any team can have some hope. 26 out of 45 runs by Axar Patel. So the remaining four wickets lost by how many runs? If you think from this side, Bangladesh is ahead. But the pitch conditions were at the end of the day, hopefully it will not be the same at the beginning of the day. India will easily win this match. If Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer one of them stay on pitch, winning this match can be very simple.
The match have moved on the unpredicted side. Bangladesh have proved that they're the King in their home ground. India have lost 7 wickets scoring 78 runs. More 67 runs required with Shreyas Iyer and Ashwin on the crease. Last hope for India, losing one of the wicket will end the match. I believe India will loss the match in a small marginal difference.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Simple to understood now cash is king again on: December 25, 2022, 03:54:47 AM
Purchasing power will not be the same anymore because of inflation, many countries are suffering from this right now and cash for them is not that worth it. The bear market is just temporary, so I’m expecting for another bull by next year. Cash is still the king simply because its more convenient to use and accepted anywhere, if this thing will happen to Bitcoin as well, we might see Bitcoin to be on top.
Purchasing power won't be the same. The convenience of usage keeps it on the top. The direct usage of cryptocurrencies were slowly getting into the market. Even at the hard times as now people never intend to spend it directly as we've got very low level of acceptance around the world. If cryptocurrency gets direct usage access surely Cash gets dethrone.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: December 25, 2022, 03:23:40 AM
The seed phrase is your unique password, and you should be the only person who knows it, in my opinion.

That means when you die the coins die with you. If you're a lonely person it may be understandable you don't want random people to take your hard-earned money, but having a family, children, changes things. I'd prefer my family to have access to my coins after my death, so I'd either give them the access when I live or put it on a piece of paper and hide it in a safe place so they can use it when I'm gone.
Yeah, why the hard earned money need to go unused. Maybe one shouldn't need to share the seed phrase, but it is a must to share how he/she have secured the seed phrase. Only the if something unexpected happened to the person who had control over the funds, it can be used further. Myself too never thought of it, now I prefer teaching my close ones about the seed phrase.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you bet on wwe matches? on: December 24, 2022, 10:11:53 PM
Based on the Wikipedia data WWE Wikipedia

WWE shows are not legitimate contests but entertainment-based performance theater, featuring story line-driven, scripted, and partially-choreographed matches; however, matches often include moves that can put performers at risk of injury, even death, if not performed correctly. The pre-determined aspect of professional wrestling was publicly acknowledged by WWE's owner Vince McMahon in 1989 in order to avoid taxes from athletic commissions.

Upon the mentioned statment WWE is just entertainment and pre-planned. For this reason no gambling platform adds WWE into the list.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 24, 2022, 09:53:44 PM
India lost 4 wickets, surprising to see India's performance in this innings.
In most of the test matches, during the fourth innings the pitch used to change drastically. This change could turn the match. Now the fall of wickets will boost the Bangladesh players to perform better than the previous innings. India have got more powerful players, and the same makes India strong amidst the performance from Bangladesh.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: December 23, 2022, 11:28:52 PM
Keep yourself pushing on the learning process. Never get into a conclusion for that what you've done hadn't brought success. Nothing to worry when you're in a market that is highly technology dependent. You need to understand and make yourself get adopted to it. This will surely bring success than switching yourself from one thing to the other.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 23, 2022, 11:25:33 PM
Every body before investing need to educate himself on the 4 year cycle that works around the bitcoin halving. And a little advice buy low and sell high but yes, it’s almost time to buy. I believe ETH will drop slightly under $1000 but you never now. Do your own research and don’t believe on YouTube because I’m certain 95% of them are just guessing.
everybody knows the cycle but the thing is, no one knows if the market gonna goes even lower or make a comeback, of course holding coins in general could save us from the headache of guessing the right time when the market gonna be changing in trend and runs towards bullish but that's only if you are patience enough and have the money to spare otherwise that would be such bad choice, but I do agree though, there's always cycle that affects the market every certain periods of time, and therefore everybody should know beforehand that in every bull run there's always massive dumps waiting in the future.
People are much focused on the four year cycle and for the same reason many keep hold with patience. This is the time we will be able to hear about more negative news around the market as well as Whales trying to create panic move to benefit out of the small holders. Entire economy is in its downturn and the same have made people focus on saving more as we don't know what happens tomorrow.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: December 23, 2022, 11:21:42 PM
So @op is conveying that we shouldn't invest in an altcoin.  We should put our money in Bitcoin only, wait..,  I thought for one second there that Bitcoin is the same lol, but Bitcoin isn't altcoin so yeah I am right to say invest only in Bitcoin as summarized to what @OP wanted to tell.

Honestly, we only need the right timing for the altcoin.  We do not need to hold them for a long term, we just need to trade them to buy more Bitcoin in the process.
Making an entry at the right time and making trades will let us enjoy the profit in bitcoin. Most of the users does this way investing into altcoins and moving the profit made in the short term into bitcoin. This will keep the portfolio strong as well as give us the risk free investment. Altcoins are good to generate better profit, but the failure of more trusted ones have created fear among the investors and hodlers.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 23, 2022, 11:18:09 PM
This maybe a great advice but Bitcoin is a coin and asset itself so, you have to use it like how it works. However, once you sell it at this current price you might not be able to buy the same price again, but if you are lucky to earn some money with your job you can afford to buy at this price or maybe it will go cheaper but we can't be so accurate if the price will go that way since the market is always unpredictable.

We just have to use whatever we had but if you're in need of money there's no problem with that if you sell some BTC but make sure you can buy it back before it grows.
Most of the time during the holiday season more selling happens in the market. People desire to spend selling what they've earned through the year. In recent years this have changed alot, because understanding the importance of having bitcoin majority of the small volume holders have stopped selling bitcoin and spending for entertainment. Life is unpredictable same is with bitcoin, so living life spending something for our happiness is needed for now.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People who holds 1+ Bitcoin, how does it feel to hold in bear market? on: December 23, 2022, 11:14:55 PM
It is really an enjoyable moment and we always have a positive vibe within us when we watch the price on the market. I had chances to have 1BTC, but I wasn't able to continue it. Few years back my gambling activities brought me big win and I was able to have 2BTC, but that wasn't big. Because, I lost in the upcoming bets. When I had those complete bitcoins I wasn't aware of its goodness. Now I've well understood, but no complete bitcoin in the wallet. Shocked
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: December 21, 2022, 11:20:59 PM
The good old days of BTC, but unfortunately we can't live in the past as bitcoin over the months has taken several steps back to where it all began. Coming to think of it, we all know this isn't unusual for bitcoin to pull such  moves...it's all cyclical and part of the big move yet to happen, let's hold on a little longer.. maybe stay away from the charts for the time being while Operation $70K is in process.
Good old days will come again. By the time we need to be good with the holdings that can give good return. Making use of the bear market is the best one can do to experience good profit out of the investment. As said whenever the market turns bearish you should focus on accumulating more or you should not watch the market. For now it takes time to reach $70k again. Based on different predictions it is 2024 to experience new ath.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 20, 2022, 11:42:52 PM
Every businesses always have someone or some people that will talk shit about them even if the business is one of the best, stop acting like we don't know what we humans are capable of, your neighbor can easily develop hatred for you and you did nothing wrong, as good as Binance exchange is some people still talk crap about the exchange when they have no evidence to backed their claims.
That's why everyone should have a positive attitude. There is no point in finding negativity in anything when there are more positivity. There is no need to criticize the negativity if it is nothing major. Various categories of people in our crypto space who unnecessarily shows false allegations against something that has no justification. But it is also true that every gambling site may have some problems, it can be major or simple problem. But these problems also have suitable solutions.
Being positive is good, but who could continue to spend with a positive attitude when an accusation with proper claim is being raised and the platform haven't taken any measures to solve the issue. There are platforms that have taken adequate measures to solve the accusations and gained the trust of its users. Same time there are platforms that just ignore these kind of accusations and keep themselves in promoting events. So, one should understand well and make his participation.
1298  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 19, 2022, 11:59:16 PM
Completely misleading with a new concept. Decentralised functioning is effective, but when the same is being applied everywhere the importance gets ruined in a fake mechanism. With casinos it is good to keep things advanced, for the same it isn't necessary to keep on transition of the process to increase the competence. Same time there are platforms that have perfectly made things over web3 as well as using the term just to show it an advanced one. So, it is all about the hype.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 19, 2022, 11:58:40 PM
How Sportsbet is working to address the problem - They are building a “real-time intervention” solution that will allow it to leverage the power of AI to quickly predict customers’ daily deposits and send alerts when the depositing amounts begin to climb up too rapidly.

i like their solution,, instead of limiting people to gamble they actually built a real time AI feature which limits the amount of people's deposits .. with this solution Sportsbet not only restricts people from over betting,, but also they won't lose their users, because we know that there are many users on Sportsbet who use credit cards and Sportsbet don't want to lose their users
I see it as a good solution but it's main task is just to give notice and notify whoever is sitting behind those monitoring computers on how much people are depositing. It's still going to cost them a manpower for having it monitored based on how they're giving all the option for their users.
If this doesn't work, they have to go through the harder way and that's through restricting them wholly but I think that it's going to take time until we see them enforce it.
We don't know how precise the AI works. Manpower is not a big issue while solving problems. A casino into revenue needs to focus on developing the trust it have got from the people and the same could be done through this. Manpower usage on the needful position is a must.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 19, 2022, 11:32:16 PM
I believe the problem with Bangladesh and other Asian countries women cricket team is the lack of support, and unless that changes we won’t really see them improve anytime soon. Furthermore New Zealand women’s cricket team is on the right track, and if they continue to further improve then they can definitely replace Australia who’re currently the number one team in woman’s cricket.
Women Cricket should be given more importance if they want to develop. Women's cricket teams in Asia are not given much prominence. As a result cricket is limited only to their name and to a few official matches. If concerned people give more importance then the Asian women's cricket team could also have placed in place of Australia and New Zealand. Especially, local cricket board and the ICC should take positive attitude towards woman cricket. Then it is expect that Asian women's cricket teams can do well.
Women cricket should be given equal importance as that of the men's cricket. This isn't happening in reality, very few boards have done it in the right way. Most of the Asian cricket boards, particularly Indian board is much focused on money. Now the prime focus is to make money and if the women's IPL turns to be a success, the women cricketing will get importance. If not, they're supposed to be the same as now.
