441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoins - Up or Down? on: February 09, 2015, 06:08:44 AM
I think bitcoin is high inflation until halving.
You need to calculate 3600 coins every day are mined.

I think alts will do better this year. Look digibyte just made me 500% and Unobtanium is rising for 8 months and it just does not stop!

I see a good year for altcoins because we just found out Bitcoin is limited in growth due to limitations in storage for the blockchain (20MB fork crazyness). I think soon will be more demand for serious kind of alternative blockchains. (not toycoins or scamcoins - talking good and solid coins)

Bitcoin may have a comeback in 2016

I think Litecoin could be a good play right before it halves down later this year at block 840000

maybe myriadcoin is coming up

good luck

I'm looking for something I can get for cheap now, and make 10 x my investment off in the not too distant future.

LMAO!!!! If only.

lol, happens to me frequently
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Your Top 5? on: February 09, 2015, 05:53:25 AM
uno, uno, uno, uno and uno
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have a bad feeling (we might 'never' see this cheap coins again) :( on: February 09, 2015, 05:30:17 AM
After a long and bumpy decline for almost 14 month, I might be finally wrong with my expectation of coins around $120. -> This would have given me the opportunity to reach my intended bitcoin holdings.

Wish I had bought more at $160. Am I to late to the party?

For some more days I will try to stay calm. No buying, just observing. Something is in the air.

What do you think? How are your feelings at your current dollar (long) vs. bitcoin (long) positions?

Be patient. It just needs a bit longer to rain through that support on 200$ but it will happen later pretty sure.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin and Altcoin price related? on: February 09, 2015, 05:27:34 AM
altcoins are not bitcoin - prices are not related

(once it looked like it, but not much longer now)
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think..... on: February 09, 2015, 05:12:31 AM
One of Altcoin will shoot high in price like BTC did suddenly and if so which one ?

yes, Unobtanium (UNO)

happening this very moment

the ride has just begun. Someone just called it 'the UNO rapture'

it is on a solid uptrend since july 2014 ... so quite a while already and i don't see a reason why it should stop. I think we could see price parity with bitcoin later this year.

Why would a dev be marketing?
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 09, 2015, 05:04:54 AM
Unobtanium is now the second most expensive token price-wise after Bitcoin

At the time of writing 1 UNO costs 3 LTC

That's a mean spread on Cryptsy, though.  This is fun, but a correction is imminent.

Z

lol. I don't see a correction as imminent. One to the upside maybe  Tongue

All the dumpers need to suffer.  Cheesy

I was looking for that chart on Friday.  How do you access that?  I moved my 27kgs from Bittrex to cold on Friday.  And, 30 from Cryptsy.

here is the link

I got 200k coming at uno next 5 days

If you're not joking and really want to bring in 200k, do it slow over several days/weeks to not overheat the market too much.

Later exit in the same manner.

Don't shock the markets.  Wink

distribution of UNO on Bittrex today:

i think it looks healthy
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 09, 2015, 02:11:30 AM
This is my graphic reply to people whose opinion it is that the Unobtanium Community doesn't need to have massive amounts of BTC on hand to best guarantee price stability:

That's why we urgently need fiatexchange (not bleutrade more like kraken, bitfinex or btc-e)

Uno is consistently in top 3 coins on bleutrade and allcrypt. Also making good volume at the bigger exchanges. Today more volume traded uno on bleutrade than traded in ltc.

Bitcoin isn't a store of wealth, likely never will be (with this hardfork leading to quantitative easing more btc into existance in a decade or so).
So Uno is that, what bitcoin was unable to be.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC-E Trollbox - Costly to Troll on: February 08, 2015, 05:50:19 AM

P.S. Still dealin with the 360 second limit on posts. Really pissing me off.

lol. Just talk some sense next time. I have 3 seconds restrictions only  Grin
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your picks for "sleeper" coins? on: February 08, 2015, 05:44:49 AM
Unobtanium, what else!?
It's a fuckin monster.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 06, 2015, 12:43:35 AM
i have a the following concerns about SC:

-I heard there's the possibility of a sidechain overtaking the main chain and make it worthless in the process. Why do we want that on UNO?

-some people say sidechains would end bitcoin.

- why do we need assets on UNO chain? So others (scammers) can abuse it without even holding many UNO? We have no way of blocking people from abusing it once it's  implemented. (it's actually providing a service for outsiders who actually don't even hold uno currently - not many uno will be demanded only for the utility of SC as they are probably cheap to purchase(under 1 UNO))

-bloat

-complexity

- i don't see why miners would mine sidechains as they do not reward them - only ad work for them (so why would a sidechain bring more hashpower? I don't think that's the case. Contrary it just ads more work for the miners without additional reward)

- I don't see what a sidechain should be able to do that an seperate altchain can't do

i would have more ... seriously. Do it in Diraq and Bitcoin first. I  hope we are not going to hardfork for that hype-of-the-week-experiment.

For me sidechains are a fear-driven invention for bitcoin. Uno is better than bitcoin. We aren't scared of competition like btc.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 05, 2015, 09:51:11 PM
This year: 10$ a coin
Next year 50$ a coin
what do you think ?

i don't really see this happening.  this is a grassroots community in a vast ocean of new cryptocurrencies, not like when bitcoin was a one-of-a-kind.  i definitely see a bright future, but $50 per kg in 2 years seems a little hasty.

i'll guess $4-5 by the end of the year.  can't see far enough ahead to predict 2 years
You may be right, but I see:

-$USD failure
-BTC 'fork' FUD passing (in-the-know buy up cheap, and BTC is scaled up)
-Mass BTC adoption!!!

Don't be so quick to recuse Unobtanium from participating in this year's events.  I remember from maybe early 2014, if not late 2013, when, after having converted all my other cryptos to UNO, I had to watch as UNO was just about the last coin to participate in the gold rush at that time.  It was hell to have to watch all the coin I just had go up 10x-100x compounded on BTC's 10x rise.

Things shouldn't proceed the same this time, but you MUST be ready for success.  Take this as a very strong warning.  Sidechains or not.

There won't be massadoption of Gavincoin because people can't run full nodes - they going to need to host the blockchain on google servers (lol). Currently Bitcoin has to learn 'one chain for all things' is not a viable philosophy. If anything happens, altcoins break free.

Maybe you didn't notice: but things are not like 2014 anymore. We're among the few coins that actually rise. You can't compare this year to 2014 at all.

Get yourself update on gavincoin. Up to 1000GB blockchain per year, hardfork with no consensus at all!! (they completely lost it)

Can you afford to download 120MB of blockchain every hour? I can't.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 05, 2015, 09:45:24 PM
This IS the time to act, and there may only be weeks left to accomplish this.  Perhaps Bryce knows this, too, and thus the quasi-urgency.

Since when can people tell the future? I don't see any urgency at all. Hasty decisions are seldom good decisions - we have seen that time and time again.
