Until now, it's not accepted by the society and everyone who gambles is already a bad guy to them. They are quick to judge but when they'll be the one to get judged, they hated it.

So with that reverse card, I hope that those people that gets to judge the gamblers will start to realize that judging them won't make them a better person.

But instead, try to give them some good words and thoughts or even reminders and ask them what does gambling does to them.

Anything to support people for doing what they like is fine, I know that many hide the activity of the game to avoid problems with their families and with their various jobs, but this is something that should not be done, if there is a person who They don't hide alcoholism nor hide infidelities, why hide the fact that they like the casino? There is no point, if the person who is playing does not harm anyone, why hide the activity, don't you think? The money belongs to the person, it is not the money of others, if it were the money of others they would have the right to get involved, otherwise no.
It is the same with the hypocrite people. They're good in criticizing other people but they've got a thing that they're been hiding for ages.

Instead of stopping the criticism to the others, they keep doing that because they think that there's nothing wrong with it.

And that's how they are telling and believing things against gamblers but they don't look and clean themselves first.

This likely has to do with societal view. There are environments where activities like gambling aren’t socially acceptable, they might also hide it to avoid being judged or interfered by others. For certain people, they just love their privacy and are secretive about what they do so no one knows (nothing is wrong, they simply prefer you don’t know). If it was an act that is widely praised, the number of people who hide to gamble would decline.

The question is if I have got money? and a lot of spare? I'd also choose Coinbase.

As you're like owning the company and the same goes for Microstrategy but it all boils down to the point that you can buy directly with Bitcoin. But this is me, you earn a portion of the company not Bitcoin when you buy them.

That's why I think Coinbase is a good option, while Bitcoin is here to stay so does Coinbase and MSTR but I don't like MSTR.

But just like any other top crypto companies which faced their failure, you also need to keep track like the updates regarding Coinbase business and the people behind it. Clearly, a lot of investors would choose Coinbase for better opportunities.
But if you are keen in observing the trend of Coinbase vs Microstrategy stock performance and see their performance, you can for example buy some Microstrategy stock and sell it while you are in good position. So this decision depends on how are you going to attack these markets and just like how CryptoHeadlineNews make an assessment for these 2 stocks.
Yes, it's normal to track them on how they're doing.

As for the trend for both companies, MSTR is doing well this time over all the years. While Coinbase global, it's still a young company and I forgot to say that's another good reason to invest on it.

When it flies so high, I'd be part of it. But going back to the reality, I haven't got any stock of theirs.

Suns fired Frank Vogel as the coach after a disappointing first round sweep! Who do you think will be next?
What if Doc is next?  Grin

[...]
Don't forget about Luka, but they seem to struggle with their first game against OKC but let's see later.
OKC seems to have an answer to Luka or even Irving. Their play doesn't revolve to just two players like SGA or Chet.
I'll wait that later with their game if they have an answer about that. Most of the outsides were out of luck with their first game and that's  the reason why they're able to tap out.

446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 09, 2024, 09:59:20 PM
Yes, it's really there defense on the Nuggets in the first 2 games that really surprises everyone, it's not physical defense or something, but it was enough to bother the Denver and they don't have any answers so far even if they played at their homecourt.
That was actually an annoying way of defense that have pissed Murray.

And then we have the young ANT and probably it's a sign in the NBA that the young core are taking it over. No Steph and Lebron in this playoff, but we have ANT, SGA and others very young and star players putting up a show for this year, times have change now.
Too many young calibers that are on this semi finals and this is a great show to the league that the young ones are taking over.

It only means that the new generation is sending a message to everyone. Don't forget about Luka, but they seem to struggle with their first game against OKC but let's see later.

Wow, you must be rich now but still able to explore things and trying to find some gems again through different projects.

Being rich and being your own bank when it comes to cryptocurrencies is another problem, you'll have to be very careful because you don't want this information to be leaked to criminals.

The "five dollar wrench attack" I'm sure everyone is familiar with is very real and the more money you have, the higher the rank of criminals that will be interested with you so the wrench will become a gun at some point.

And if you pay taxes from crypto, you must assume this information has already leaked because people working there has been caught in the past for leaking information.
That's why I don't even mow the lawn in my backyard without a gun, being your own bank is a good thing but also a big threat.

When cryptocurrencies will be as common as having paypal account, criminals will assume you have one so flashing your wealth is not a good idea.
Seeing how many crypto holders have their "laser eye" avatars on social media is a bit disturbing, I think they don't realize how real this threats are.

I guess, that's the price of freedom.
That's the sad truth about the misconception of many people that when they see someone in crypto, they're telling them that we must be rich.

But in reality, not all of us are rich. We can be well off in life and able to achieve our dream things but it's not that extravagant and way super rich for which is playing in their minds.

Another problem is when you're going to sell a lot from your portfolio, the exchange might even ask you for more additional documents/kyc.
448  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: May 09, 2024, 08:58:57 PM
This means that rich people only see gambling as a place of entertainment to fill their spare time when they feel bored in the midst of their busy lives. Wink
That's true. They have money to gamble and it won't bother them if they go in a losing streak. While those that have just enough or don't do good with their living.

One lose and they're going to have an headache already. That's the reason why we tell everyone to gamble what they can afford to lose.

Because the rich are gambling because of boredom and they don't have to aim for the wins, they let the casino win and they are not emotional when they lose.
449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a newbie make investment before learning? on: May 09, 2024, 08:24:15 PM
Take your time learn and implement before you inter market or make any investment as a newbie
Don't take any shortcuts.

Give importance to your hard earned money without having some time in learning what you are about to invest. It won't hurt you a lot and won't cost you that much if you're going to learn first where you'll invest your money.

Don't be the same with those people that are relying to the flock of the crowd where they're putting their money without thinking and knowing what they are investing with their money.

Take one step at a time and don't rush so that you won't get fooled by anybody and you'll understand what you are investing.
Don’t be greedy as well, that will only force you to take shortcuts believing that you could end up with quick and huge profits. Instead, follow the process. Make an in-depth research and study. Know your investment well, before you take such risk to invest your hard-earned money. That could be the best way possible in order to avoid too much losses and increase your chances to stay in profits.
Yeah, that the process naturally and enjoy it.

Because a newbie that's making an investment shouldn't hurry for them to understand how the market's concept works.

It's about the process that they need to analyze and understand and then, that investment approach will be learned and everything seems going to be easy mentally and emotionally.

Don't judge the other two friends that you have that didn't helped, what reason they say? Maybe they have their own reasons and personal problems and can't help you with that.

While the other friend of yours who's generous to borrow you his laptop is having a good personal status economically.
451  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you care about game stories? on: May 09, 2024, 01:50:00 PM
I would like to ask you: How important is the game story in your gaming experience?
The most important, it is the core of the game together with the game play.

Do you value the game story more or other aspects?
Definitely.

Is there any game story that impressed you or that you think is a classic in the game?
Days gone.

Left for Dead.

GTA IV and V.

COD franchises.

Many more....

It's best for you to just create an announcement thread instead of making threads after threads showcasing the same project.

I won't be surprised if someone has reported all of your threads or you get banned.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 08, 2024, 10:52:38 PM
We've missed Cavs seeing in the playoffs. Oops, this is for those that are quite young at heart already when James was still with them.

In a few, we're going to see their match against Celtics and let's see who's going to make their debut win together with the other match of Mavs and Thunder.

Interesting, Thunders made it but it seems that the attention of the fans aren't with them on this playoffs.

Thunders are quietly working on their own journey,  they are now on the 2nd round playing against the Mavs though I'm not a OKC fan but with their capabilities it will be a tough match for the Mavs,  SGA and those other young cores of OKC will give a hard time for Luka and Kyrie they are capable to put that tight defense and with the height and speed advantages I guess it will really be an exciting series for these two competing teams.

A battle of good game plays and chemistry that needed to blended out and execute well, let see if who among the two competing team will adjust and win this series.
The Thunders have won on their first game against the Mavs. I want the Mavs to move on but the Thunders are showing interestly enough for one to think of them and become a new fan.

They've got a good chemistry but it's still early to tell about this series for them. Let's wait for 2-3 more games but as interest as it is, we all want to see this series go up to the last to enjoy it.

I use different project because Bitcoin does not provide what I'm looking for.
For me the value comes from strong privacy, the fact that no one knows how much I have.

In Bitcoin this information, even if very careful - could leak.
You're right with that, if it's about privacy there's a stronger one from other projects that are more focused to it.

Tax office and people who work there know how much I sold, that's it.
Wow, you must be rich now but still able to explore things and trying to find some gems again through different projects.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: May 08, 2024, 09:51:27 PM
I think gambling should be for everybody, there is no way you can stop mentally unstable people from gamble if they have their personal self phone. But If we are talking about mentally unstable people, they are of different types, some of them can relate with people, while some of them are really insane and can destroy things and even human being if they come close to where people stay.
But if you're concern to someone's welfare that you think that they shouldn't gamble, then all you have to do is to advice them that they should stop if seen to have mental problems.

So I think those ones who are not really disturbed to the extent of destroying things still have a chance of being sane in life,so those ones can gamble. But the ones who aren't really okay shouldnt be allowed to get to where human being are.
There's no problem if someone doesn't have any problem that's being shown to the others.

If they can gamble and knows what they're up to, they're aware of the surroundings and can control themselves then 100%, they can.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I get into trading on: May 08, 2024, 03:54:31 PM
Good day guys!
As someone who’s new to this space and wants to start trading, what are the steps I can take to start and how much of fund do I need to start?.
Ranging from $10-$100 is enough to start and don't make huge trades. Start to learn with that amount and IMO that's going to give you the lesson you want to have as a starter, make sure that amount is affordable for you to lose.

What wallet is best for me?
What are you going to trade?

Assuming you don't have a wallet yet, you go directly to the exchange and buy there with your fiat.
458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can we do to make Bitcoin hit $100k on: May 07, 2024, 11:59:18 PM
...Is there anything we could do??

The only correct solution would be to buy Bitcoin at the market price and thereby move the price up. But it is impossible to do this, since all participants of the forum do not have enough capital for this. Therefore, we can only wait until institutional investors do it for us.
Yup, that's adding more demand to it.

Whether you promote it in different social media, you'd just be wasting your time if you're not helping the economy itself through buying. But are we big enough to do that? Me, even I am comparatively small, I'd say that don't underestimate the power of retailers.

If you add to the demand, that means that there's a price increase that's about to happen just as the big institutions does. We've seen this happen sometime ago in the gamestop stocks.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 07, 2024, 11:24:18 PM
Wrong board, move the thread to gambling discussion.

Because nowadays the younger ones take gambling more seriously then school. Yesterday i got back home early so I decided to step out and go to a betting shop to catch some fun while gambling, I saw two teenagers gambling with their school uniforms on them.

I asked someone besides me why did they allow this boy's to come in with their uniforms and gamble, he said did they put any restrictions that younger ones are not allowed to gamble. I said but it's not normal, I replied him what if this are your kids would you be happy seeing them gambling with their uniforms on them. So what do you guys think about this situation at hand now.
Parental guidance is needed for those kids and to the owner of the betting shops, they should have age restriction before allowing someone to enter inside their premises.

As it is your concern, why not report it to the police so that they're going to be strict for allowing these students entering their betting shop?

It's been moved to off topic.

I have created it in the "off-topic", just wondered if it shouldn't be elsewhere but I think it's ok  Cool
Okay, I thought that you posted it elsewhere and then the mods moved it here. Well, it's not moving so it should be fine if it's here.

Thank you for joining discussion, It is interesting what people think about the value proposition outside FIAT.
Don't mention it, it's a discussion and hopefully others also join and say what think about it. It will also be meaningful if you say something about your own topic.
