Inclusion of cricket in the Olympics will reduce their dominance over the ICC, so BCCI does not want cricket to be included in the Olympics. But cricket would have been more respected if it had been included in the Olympic games. There are a lot of people who still do not know anything about cricket. We should spread the game of cricket like football. The president of the ICC should think more about this issue.
BCCI has every reason to be worried. They are afraid that such a step will result in their subordination to the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). Right now BCCI is the most powerful sports body in India, and they don't want to lose that position. Last year, there was stiff opposition from the part of the BCCI, when the government asked them to agree to the terms proposed by the NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency). You can imagine what will be their reaction, if the government proposes them to work with the IOA. When have you heard BCCI not opposing and agreeing to everything that comes on their way. People from within BCCI should support the move, there are ex cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar who want cricket to be part of the Olympics and.there are many others too. As a cricket lover i would be very happy if i could watch cricket at the Olympic games. Almost all sports in theworld are in the Olympiv games. I don't know why the ICC havn't any interest in including cricket in the Olympics.
They probably don't want a global tournament in which they don't have much control. Previously, ECB and BCCI opposed the inclusion of cricket in Olympics, because they thought that it will have a negative impact on the viewership of the T20 World Cup. Also, the potential benefits will be directed towards the associate members, as they will get large increases in government funding. It goes against the Big 3 objective of limiting cricket to a handful of nations. BTW, it was Shashank Manohar who showed an interest in including cricket in the Olympics. He is gone now and the power is back in the hands of those who are opposed to the globalization of cricket. I think it too. Personally i don't see any other Test match outside these three series (The Ashes, Border-Gavaskar, and the Trans-Tasman Trophy). I only see the highlights of the other test series. I think the test series should be kept considering the ranking. Now if we have to watch Australia vs Bangladesh or Afghanistan's test series it will not be pleasant for me. Because Bangladesh or Afghanistan will lose against Australia by an innings. If the Test series is kept according to the ranking, then the match will be more interesting
Ideally Australia vs Bangladesh, or India vs Sri Lanka should not be scheduled very frequently. Because if we divide the 12 test nations in to two divisions, then teams such as Australia and India will be in the top division, and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka.etc will be in the lower division. But the ICC has refused to do that, probably under pressure from the smaller boards. And as a result we have one-sided test matches most of the time. All cricket playing nations should be divided into 2 sides on the basis of ranking. Test series will be held between those whoare in the ranking 1-6. And test match will be held between those who will be in the ranking after 6th. The No. 1 team will never play a Test match with the 7th team on the ranking table. They will play ODI and T20 matches. I can tell about Bangladesh team, you can watch their last 4 Test matches. They won the last test match against Zimbabwe. But previous 3 match they lost by an innings and some runs. What do you think about my thoughts? Is it possible? If this format is used then a good majority of teams will never be able to rise in rank as they would never be able to play with a powerful team and gain experience. For teams like Zimbabwe playing a test match helped them to gain experience and also improve their strategy. This is what I feel, you and others might differ to my thinking. |

Both teams played well. I didn't think the match would go for super over. I thought KXIP could easily win the match. If they had played a little better in the last over, they could have won the match without super over. But the match was really exciting. i think it is the most exciting match in this IPL.
KXIP have won 2 match in a row. They have won just 3 of 9 matches. Do you think they can play in the playoff?
They have 5 matches remaining, and they need to win almost all of these matches if they want to qualify for the playoffs. And it is going to be tough, as their next matches are against very strong teams (vs Delhi Capitals tomorrow, and then against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 24th October). My guess is that they need to win at least 4 out of the remaining 5 matches. I don't think that it is possible. Winning all 5 matches is so difficult, but not impossible! I've seen their next match is against DC. Winning a match against DC is a big challenge for the team KXIP. If they are able to defeat DC then I think they have the ability to play in the playoff. Anything is possible in cricket and after Chris Gayle coming back KXIP are a different team now. It is tough for them to win all the five matches but it is not impossible. They will give a tough fight to DC in the next match that I am sure. At the moment DC are on top in the point table and they are playing exceptionally well as a team in this season of IPL. |

KXIP Vs MI in my opinion was the best match in this season of IPL. Till the end I was in the opinion that MI will win in super over but when Chirs Gayle hit a six on the first ball I knew KXIP will win this match. Today was a day of super overs back to back super overs in both the matches.

Yesterday's match was a completely one sider match, I hate such matches in the T20 format. It was known that DC would win but expected RR to give them a tough fight. LOL.. yesterday's match was anything but a one-sided match. The winning probability changed so many times and RR had a good chance of victory, even after losing their top batsmen. It was a match between two teams of equal strength. Delhi Capitals prevailed in the end, because they had better depth-over bowlers in Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. Also, Tewatia magic didn't worked for RR yesterday. I do not consider it to be an equal match, it was always a one sided match. DC are a far better team than RR and tewatia is a fluk he might work and might not which he proved yesterday. You cannot rely on this guy. The winning probability changes every time a six, four is scored or a wicket is down. This is quite normal in betting |

Todays match is between RCB and KXIP as per Google the probability of RCB winning this match is 58 percent as compared to 42 percent. I completely agree that RCB will win this match unless KXIP does something different today.

Today's Match is between DC and RR. As per Google DC has a 56% win probability and RR has 44%. Odds are also supporting DC. I assume the right decision would be to bet on DC today but do you guys think DC will play this match casually or will they dominate it? I was checking today's match schedule on Google and found that the win probability for CSK was greater than SRH. It is kind of strange for me considering the past performance of both the team in this season of IPL I was expecting it to be higher for SRH.  Then I went ahead and checked the points table for both the team  Accoding to it SRH are way ahead in the points table. I am confused here as to what made google decide that CSK are favourites for today's match. Today's match is unpredictable to me . I saw the match of SRH vs RR . SRH's bowlers failed to break the partnership of Parag and Tewati and they lost the match . On the other hand check out CSK's previous tow match . They failed to score just 167 and 169 runs . The performanc of the two teams is very poor and also unpredictable . So i will not place any bet on today's match Can anyone predict who will be the winner of today's match? share with us I am also not sure which team to choose for today but as per the performance in this season I think the chance of SRH winning this match is good, the problem with SRH is weak bowling and the benefit with CSK is experienced player.
