Barca experienced a huge defeat infront of their fans and this is really disappointing as it comes in a time that the club is in a trying time financially. Also at this stage, the club is also experiencing a hard time in trying to talk Xavi to still remain in the club and this loss comes as a big one for the club.

 Now the club is out of the UCL which could have helped the club be able to raise some finances should incase the need for hiring a new coach arises. This frustration could linger on and probably affect the club’s performance over the weekend if the club’s management doesn’t handle the situation well.

 ⁠PSG attack weren’t a match for Barca in any way and the red card already made the defense line of Barca short of one man as against the speedy attack of the PSG attack. Well the result was a big one and I understand the anger of both Xavi and the fans as they never expected such especially in their home ground.

 The board should try to manage this situation well and on time and try sourcing for other means of getting funds because the financial state of the club will be one of the main reason Xavi might want to depart as he might not be able to sign the required players to help him in his formation for the club. This is a very trying time for both the club and her fans and we wish them luck and hope they come out of this well.

Playing in the EPL which is regarded the most competitive league in Europe isn’t always an easy one and you must need to be more than excellent to be able to withstand the pressure of playing in the EPL. This is so especially if you’re in a contest for the number one spot in the league. This pressure happened to make Liverpool and Arsenal drop points over the weekend and as such leaving Man City to get back in top spot.

 For Arsenal it’s not surprising as this is the 2nd time they’re repeating this after doing same last season and eventually losing out to Man City. It’s majorly surprising they haven’t been able to do game management to help them manage and contain the pressure. The loss from this Arsenal team will sure affect their mentality no doubt and you can only imagine how the team will continue from here.

 Aston Villa who defeated Arsenal were very impressive and you can see how they played quite excellently to be able to maintain and press Arsenal’s defense. Well you can say that they did so probably because they’re in a chase for top 4 spot and yea I’ll understand but you must also point out the errors that Arsenal coach made that made his team concede and drop points too.

 ⁠This season has been a great one for Aston Villa and I sincerely think they still need more improvement maybe probably a signing in the midfield will be a big boost for them on their performance next season. Kudos to Aston Villa. For Arsenal well, you can already say it’s over but I feel the loss shouldn’t afftect the players mentality as they still have everything to fight for though they still have some tough fixtures but never say never.

The hopes of Barcelona going through to the semis were very high especially after defeating psg at France over a week ago. It was so high such that the Barca fans were prepared with their fireworks at the Camp Nou before the game even started. The result was a big shocker to the whole world and now this is why this is the UCL as you are sure to see surprises spring up.

 ⁠The red card spoilt the game for Barca as you can tell, the team didn’t expect to have a red card and as such that event totally disrupted their gameplay and you can see how they struggled. It got to a point their head coach couldn’t control it and he too was shown a red card and then you can understand that the team has lost it totally and I think this is a situation clubs should take a cue from, I mean always plan for a red card happening.
 
 The red card made them short of a man in the defense line and as such, you can understand how the team will struggle to keep up with the resilient attack of PSG whom have a speedy Mbappe and Dembele. For Xavi wanting to leave, I don’t think this should be a big opportunity for him to leave, because he was able to control the game though and I know had it been not for the red card, he would have gotten this team to the semis and we wouldn’t speculate.
 
 ⁠Well for the speculations, going to a team like Newcastle wouldn’t be a bad idea because he’s sound to an extent tactically and with the club being financially buoyant, he can be able to make some signings to help spring up his idea. If Xavi leaves then I think the board will have to think fast on how to source for funds to be able to get a new coach especially now they’re in a financial downtime.

The season started quite badly for Ajax and at the start of the season with their form, you could easily predict that the club wont be able to make it to any European competition next season because they were not able to get maximum points to help them go up the log. At a point in the season, the team suddenly picked up form and started winning games and you can begin to imagine the club in the least Europa next season.

 ⁠A roller coaster season it’s been for Ajax because currently they’re performing below expectations and have gone back to the way they were performing before picking up and now with the season getting close to an end, it’s evidently clear that there’s zero hope for an European competition for them. PSV has been very consistent as they still try to remain unbeaten in the league which isn’t usually easy but with such feat, you can be so sure of them winning the league.

 ⁠I think Ajax will have big issues making the top 4 because of the wide gap and the low numver of matches remaining to reach such stage. Now the club’s board must try to prepare for next season and as such, try to build up the team and do some changes that’ll be effective in bringing the club back to winning ways.

 ⁠PSV have been the major surprise this season with their wonderful performances even though after Ajax low performance so many believed Feynoord to be able step up into the shoe and be the main club in the league. Well this shows healthy competition and we believe Ajax will sure be able to work on themselves and maybe get back to limelight next season.

For the Italian teams at the moment, they'll be focusing their strength on the domestic Serie A league and they ought to be doing excellently well in it. Especially Juventus, they've even had a greater chance of being far ahead in the standings than the likes of Inter Milan because for others, after the league games, they'd still have to play the continental tournament and this will definitely affect players' physical capabilities too.

Even Milan this season weren't really close to be found in the trophy race and it's just sad that they've failed to perform rightly in the league even though doing their best in the European contests. All seems like inter would play to lift the trophy when face Ac Milan in the Serie A encounter at San Siro. Well I won't say it'll be too shameful or embarrassing but the former team is eager to take the trophy in a grand style. It's good to know that few weeks before the season runs off, there'll be a known winner in the Italian Serie A league.

Xabi Alonso has really improved this Bayern Leverkusen team since when he was appointed last season whilst they were wallowing in 17th place which is sure relegation, he was able to build this team and take them to finish 6th place. Not just that he was also able t achieve and European final for the team, though he lost.

 ⁠His achievements last season was a bog confidence on what he can be able to achieve with the boys this season. This season he has made history already with the club and the young boys he’s mentoring by leading the club to her first Bundesliga title in over 120 years of existence.

 ⁠This kind of achievement is really laudable and yes sure, he’s going down the club’s history books and also he’ll sure be written in gold if he can be able to achieve the treble for the club. The possibilities of him getting the treble is very big because you can see how balanced they’re playing and in the DFB Pokal, they’re sure going to win that. In the UEL, they’ll sure be able to get to the Semi Finals and also the finals.
 
 ⁠The current form of this Leverkusen side is one that makes club get scared whenever they want to face them because it’s noteworthy that they still remain unbeaten this season in all competitions. I don’t think there’s anyteam in the UEL that can be able to stop this Leverkusen side yet and a treble is quite possible.

You can’t overlook the fact that Al-Hilal in one way or the other are looking unstoppable in the Saudi League as they’re having a wonderful season after being crowned with the trophy of Kings of Saudi Cup. The club are looking way anove every other in the league and the chances of them winning the league is very high.
 
 ⁠They remain unbeaten and they’re also in a chase for the quadruple which they’re in the semi final stage of both remaining competitions and the chances of them winning is quite high. After they’ve been able to defeat top teams like Al-Nassr and defending champions, Al-Ittihad, you can say this Al-Hilal team is really a fierce one. ⁠For their semi final match with Al-Ain the team that defeated Ronaldo and his teammates, this will be the AFC Champions League. Al-Hilal can be able to defeat them though this team shouldn’t be underrated as they could pose surprises.

 ⁠Al-Ain will sure be a big test for Al-Hilal’s determination level but I have high hopes that Al-Hilal will be able to go through. Their major issue could be being able to go past Al-Nassr in the final of the Saudi Super Cup as that could be a major challenge because Ronaldo will want to at least get his hands on a trophy this season.

Kylian has been the main man for this psg side since his move to the club over 4 years ago as in a large period of those 4 years, he’s ended up the team’s highest goal scorer and that’s enough to help the team be able to consistently win the league. They’re very good when it comes to them winning the league rather than how they perform in the UCL.
 
 ⁠In the UCL, this fierce team are just a shadow of themselves and even when they have the likes of Messi and Neymar, yet they aren’t able to do anything tangible in the team and it’s worrisome. They’re always failing to reach the Semis of this competition and yes the fans aren’t enjoying it anymore as thy though this is their year but they fell at the Park des Princes last week to Barcelona.  

 ⁠Now the chances of them going through is very slim because they’re now going to Camp Nou which is one difficult ground to overturn victories. I think it’s because of reasons like this Kylian is wanting to leave the club to be able to win European trophies and get himself on the limelight.

 He’s decided to go to Real Madrid and I feel that’s really one cool decision especially as he’s one player the team needs to still keep dominating Europe. And Real Madrid is a balanced squad and Kylian will fit in easily in the club so the move isn’t a bad one rather it’s one that’s timely and needed by both parties.

 Chelsea had a great game yesterday and that’s what improvement is all about being able to be good with the ball and when you’re off the ball, you’re able to trap back and defend then get the ball and head to attack. This is what the team showed yesterday and you can see the joy in thr face of the fan’s yesterday as they wished results like this can continue coming in.

 This win was convincing enough as they didn’t just hold on to possession for long rather they made sure they capitalized on every chance they have and that helped them score that huge number of goals and increase their goal difference. Now this kind of win is a statement win for the likes of West Ham, Man United and Newcastle as any mistake from any of them will bring them below to Chelsea. ⁠This win is one that came right on time ahead of their FA Cup Semi Final Clash with Man City. Everton were petty bad as thy tried to keep the ball but I think their defense line wasn’t working at all yesterday as compared to the attack who had pretty number of chances.

  ⁠Cole Palmer, the man of the match who bagged a 2nd career hattrick and in successive EPL games at Stamford Bridge, his hat trick was a perfect one as you can see him using both left foot, right and header in the goals and getting a penalty goal to bring him level on points with Haaland for the Golden Boot. The FA Cup Semi is next and I wish the Chelsea team will be able t make it to another Wembley final, maybe they’ll be able to break the jinx this time.

Liverpool on the other hand has experienced a push ahead in their stance since Klopp joined the team. They have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again.

 The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon. His exit from the team would definitely have some impacts in the team's performance ahead either positively or negatively. It's only best to avoid the negative effects.

 He's been able to set up the right team with every needed criteria in place. But still, it's not a determinant that any bad change can't happen in a twinkle of an eye. The Liverpool squad just have to work together to stay in shape and hopefully the replacement won't be a mistake to the team. The team still proves to be competitive in their ability next season. We'd just watch how it'll be manned up and see the results they do their best to achieve. There are still world class players in the team and so they have no standing reason to flop no matter the condition they'll find themselves.

 I'm admitting that crystal palace are a very promising club to some reasonable extent. Season's before now, they've proved to be competitive and tough on the pitch too. It was a convincing game from them against Liverpool last weekend and really it's expected that they stay put on acting and performing at a high pace in the remaining games left this season.

In the first half of the season, Barcelona were able to get a win against Osasuna to earn a ticket to the Spanish Cup finals where they had to face Real Madrid. Their game against Osasuna was a bit tough but in their best way, they were able to secure the win. Madrid themselves were able to deliver a good victory against Atletico Madrid and their subsequent performance in the contest is seemingly promising.

 The two rivals at the finals Real Madrid and Barcelona were tough on each other. Twas an El classico game and so the heat was intense. Even though Barcelona themselves weren't performing near to the rate of Madrid's, they still did their best to keep up in the game. They've only got to work on their confidence and charisma in the game, the UCL tournament is still heated up and they've got to prove their spot there too.

 In the second half of the season, there'd be another heated up el classico faceoff and as all time past encounters have been, the both teams would definitely put their best to the game. Real Madrid this season have been consistent in keeping their victory pace and for Barcelona, they've had flunctuating performances and really it'll be difficult to predict the outcome when they play away to Madrid in the el classico clash. Normally the probability of goals inflow is just in between as truthfully both teams' capacity are brought into light when they're up against themselves. It's a whole different atmosphere when the two teams face off.

Everton who were saved with a point or two from being relegated last season, started off the season quite on a very high note but little did the know their high tempo will be calm by the FA with points deduction. Some points about 15-17 points have been deducted from them in total and that keeps them on the brink of the relegation zone again.
 
 ⁠This deduction of points has really eaten deep into the team’s morale but yet they still need to try to keep fighting as that’s what they have to do to still remain in England Top Flight League, the EPL next season. Their performance yesterday showed a team that’s already giving up slowly and that’s not the mentality they need at this point.

 ⁠Some major changes needs to be done especially by the coach to keep up the team’s fighting spirit. Though Chelsea too were pretty good with the ball and off the ball yesterday as ypu can see all the players played their roles very well and that’s one thing Poch should pick from. His formation yesterday was apt and I think going on with that formation, the team will sure be able to finish up in 6th or 7th.

 ⁠Using 2 of Enzo, Gallagher and Caicedo and using Palmer as a 10 is what’s needed rather than playing the 3 of the aforementioned players together as that makes the midfield stiff and not being fluid like it was yesterday. The penalty incident wAs a bit awful and I think the coach should be able to address that before it gets out of hand. The team should be seen helping Palmer get the Golden Boot and not seen doing that as you can Remember Sir Alex Ferguson always making sure the players help Ronaldo increase his goal tally.

In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him. For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run.

 Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool were questing for him as well, i didn't think they were set to afford that amount for him during the January transfer window. Let's just anticipate summer break whilst watching his movement decision unfold.

 Real Madrid has even been performing at their best without a stable striker in the team, then we think of how much more they'd perform if they eventually get a striker for themselves. Left for me, they're doing just fine without a striker. They've in the team a lot of youngsters that are doing excellent in their general balling ability. But still they just have to have for themselves a striker that'd be majored on that role of goal scoring and they won't have to be using a false forward in their games.

 Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results.

The UCL continues this week and this is Europe’s elite competition that’s usually met with lots of entertainment as you see both the big boys and average boys across Europe all competing against themselves to be the continent’s champion. This competition is always met with surprises as we have seen numerous times some great comebacks from teams and against teams you don’t expect in this competition.

 ⁠At the moment, we’re already in the Quater finals stage of this competition and you can’t easily predict which team will be making it to the semi finals more especially after almost all 4 matches had a fierce first leg encounter. Now the second leg is about to play up we can’t wait to see the 4 teams that will Make it through to the semis
 
 ⁠One match of focus is the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich match as. This match holds a long history of having plenty goals and Bayern usually thrashing them. The expectations were pretty high especially on Arsenal getting the win in the first leg especially as they’ve improved generally within the last 2 seasons.

 ⁠Well surprisingly they were only able to get a draw and now they move to play away to Bayern in Germany. After failing to take advantage of their home, I don’t think we should expect much from Arsenal at all especially in this 2nd leg. Bayern showed alot of their experience in that first leg and that even gives the room for us to expect more than the first leg performance in this second leg. Arsenal are a young team and I think them being eliminated now won’t be a big surprise rather, I think the team can take it as a big motivation for future competitions.

Few weeks left to the end of the season and Napoli are trailing below Bologna, yes, they'd want to strive to gain enough points so as to get tickets unto next season's European contests but it'll be a difficult task for them because even if they managed to cover up the points gap now, how can they be so sure that Bologna would sit back and be consistently poor in these last weeks.

 Last season, Napoli were a better side even in season's before last but this season, there's been a big switch to that and now it's seeming like a difficult task. Most less active teams of before have now taken it up on themselves to make long lasting differences this season and they've sure been consistent at it. It'll be difficult to break small teams as they've just developed a hidden confidence and strength to maintain their stiffness and just keep being ahead this season.

 Napoli can only reduce the track of points gaps between the teams but I'll really be longing that they're able to outstand and come on top the table to ensure the ticket is kept intact. For Monza, they've not really had much of an insightful season because in their games against most teams in the league, they come out defeated and it's appaling to their pace on the league table. Juventus and Roma secured convincing 3 points from them and it only means that one way or the other, they're lagging in performance.

 Bologna themselves aren't much of a huge dreadful effect on teams in the league but they've been able to pull bigger grounds and maintained good positions on the table. They've handled games professionally and have done well by staying top of Napoli on the league table. Today's encounter between Bologna and Monza was insightful and yes the both teams did their best but as always, there's a team who performed greater than the other.

  Over the years, every season, we've seen certain teams leading the top chart of the Bundesliga and there's been some levels of consistency especially for Munich who's most of the time finished at the first position. Before now, Leverkusen and Stuttgart weren't even seen near the top four, it was always a Munich, Dortmund show but there's been much of a difference this season. Now there's a kinda rub shoulders between these teams, Leverkusen and Stuttgart who's been on the sidelines for seasons have now come up to be competitive for the trophy. Since the season began, they've been able to be threats to the trophy race, Munich now have to be extra cautious in their games too.
 
 They've lost twice in a row and it's kept the ints between them and Leverkusen. Also for Stuttgart who's been doing their best to keep their spot in the top 4 space. It's very much impression that this season took a different turn in the Bundesliga. Leipzig and Dortmund still have to strive to regain back their usual space on the table because currently, they're seemingly below the top 3, although with not much points difference which they still have a chance to meet up with.

 Leverkusen this season have been very impactful in their games. They've been able to keep an unbeaten record so far and with the few games left till the season is wrapped up, the probability for them to remain with such feat is feasible. They've been a great team and their boss, Xabi has done his part of creating a notable differences in the atmosphere of the German Bundesliga.

 They have had tough matches but still in both home and away encounters, they've remained positively consistent in their game performances and results too. They've been able to curb the Bundesliga trophy to themselves and there are just few weeks left. It won't be difficult for them to stay put to unending victories till the last games of the season.

Currently, Leverkusen's consistency had put them in the top contending spots for the Bundesliga title. And it's so satisfying that with just few games games to the end of the season, there has finally been change of hands this season. Definitely they held onto the pressure for a while and for Leverkusen, they were not resilient in pursuing that major aim. Alonso and his squad aren't giving up and weekly they put up a whole different energy towards that trophy race.

 Comparing Xabi's abiliy based on his performances with his team, it'll be fair to admit his superiority in skillset. Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from. It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager.
 
 Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's not surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good. In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest.

 Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture, the highest probable winner would be Leverkusen, then Liverpool and any other team behind. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament.

The league is about to come to an end and now teams are all in the race for who will be trying to go up to the UCL for next season. One match for focus was the match between Villarreal and Athletico Bilbao as the result was to have some sort of effect on the position of Athletico Madrid in their run to finish in UCL spot.

 The match ended in a draw and it was one very fierce match as both teams were able to play so well and Villarel whom had a red card tried all their best and weren’t relentless till they got the equalizer goal. The goal was one big one for Villarel as they were able to salves a point but this draw wasn’t a good one for Bilbao.

 ⁠The result now gives Athletico Madrid some time to cool off and increases the point to over 4 and with over 7 matches to go you can see and understand how much points Athletic Bilbao must have lost. Now Athletic Bilbao must try not to avoid a repetition of this loss else they could be overthrown by Real Sociedad.

 ⁠This result goes on to show the importance of always taking your chances when you have the opportunity to and it also goes on to explain the unpredictable nature of footage generally. Football results cann change at anytime and in that match, you would expect Athletic Bilbao to feel relaxed especially after the red card given to Villarel well but football happened.

Chelsea attitude to football has been very much frustrating, they've been behind average in their performance and it's bad because they've at the beginning of the season spent a whole lot on acquisition of new set of players who were believed to be world class and then have slacked in proving their worth. The coach on his part seems lost in his duties as he's not been able to act rightly. He should be able to know where his team and players are doing wrong and fix them up. If he's got some bunch of errors in his duties then there's no way the team would go without having errors too.
 
 Chelsea before now were a good team in the hands of good coaches. It's sad to admit that Pochettino wasn't actually the man for the job. We have good players but all we need is the right combo which Pochettino has failed to establish and make consistent. We're far behind on the table and in our current situation, it'll be so hard to catch up. It's difficult to hope on them coming back up and it's a shame that we're at the position we are even with the players we've had in the team.

 Chelsea needs a solution to the management issue they're faced with. Yes the exit of Abrahamovic caused and created various loopholes which they're trying to cover up. The coach they have in mind, yes may likely have good records in time past but financially will they be ready and able to acquire his services to the team. Well they're a team known for their ability to spend just to acquire the best so I believe they'll be able to work out a way to it. Amorim would be a beneficial option to them and they'll want to get him at least to try a different hand in the team whilst hoping that there's positivity in the results from his games with them. The end of the season will be the decider. They just have to struggle with the last few weeks to see if it'll be possible enough to secure a spot in the European contests next season.

Inter are ahead with a reasonable point gap and undeniably, they're are proving to keep up with consistencies which if met, Juventus no matter what won't be able to catch up to them. Inter are no longer faced with the European contest and so for inter Milan and Juventus, they've still got extra time to prepare ahead for the league games.

 Against Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan did well to stay in the game but it wasn't just well enough to help them advance in the contest. They've gained enough grounds this season and it's profitable to them considering how well and useful their position has been and will be for them in subsequent games and seasons too.
