Honestly it seems that all exchanges have absolutely terrible support. I used CEX long ago to deposit some money to buy bitcoins and everything worked just fine, I'm wondering if someone has tried to withdraw cash recently. Any insights on that?

hey dev After the swap, i have 700GEO on bittrex and i will receive 700UBQ on wallet UBQ Bittrex?
No that is not correct. You will have 700 GEO after the swap occurs. The difference being if you want to withdraw that balance from Bittrex you will need to use a UBQ wallet capable of handling UBQ tokens. mean geo swap and another coin but this coin in bittrex? And use UBQ on Bittrex when i with draw? this coin after swap have exchange on bittrex? same ANS swap NEO or if i have geo on bittrex, how to receive new coin or bittrex auto swap for me? I don't think you fully understand how swap will work, we will be transfering all the GEO balances from the current blockchain onto the UBQ blockchain as GEO tokens. Bittrex will handle it all behind the scenes for you, on the front end it will appear the same to you. In the backend if you wanted to withdraw your GEO balance from Bittrex after the swap has occurred, you will no longer be able to use your current GEO wallet. You will need to use a UBQ wallet capable of handling the GEO token. I hope that helps clear things up. That wont happen because bittrex is about to go full scam just like cryptsy, for the sake of this project you should find another exchange, anything other than bittrex.

Can someone help me out. I'm new to geo. Is there a mobile app for it? Their website shows it on mobile but I can't find anything.
We're currently under development. The first phase will be the migration of GEO into a new UBQ token. Once that occurs we will need to replace the backend wallets with UBQ wallets to handle the new GEO balances. The MapBox interface has been under development (as shown on the website) but it has not yet been released to the community base. We need to ensure the order of operations is carried out smoothly. I'm still in discussions with Bittrex Support about the upcoming swap. We've heard back from them and things are continuing to move forward. I will continue to update you all here with information as it is made available. Are you aware that bittrex is likely a scam exchange? They have locked/disabled many many accounts and they also made it impossible to withdraw anything unless you verify yourself with your personal documents and when you do they will tell you it didn't work and you need to wait, people have been waiting for over a month now. I don't know how good is for your business to do business with a scammy exchange like bittrex. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954598.0Can't talk about other people cases, but my account got verified instantly. I'm using bittrex from the begining, no problems for me. Thousands and thousands of unresolved tickets is absolutely pathetic for such a big exchange not to mention the countless accounts they disabled for no reason. If you keep using bittrex you are insane, the exchange is borderline scam right now, it is exactly how cryptsy started and look where they are now. If you can withdraw your funds you should, as fast as possible. They are absolutely not professional. People have tickets from months ago that have not been answered.

I had verified with bittrex and never encountered any issues so far. maybe users should be made aware that they need to get themselves verify to prevent any withdrawal issues.
No, bittrex is a scam and if you can withdraw you should right now. Thousands of users are trying to get their accounts verified but their support system hasn't responded for months. Check their twitter: https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange They don't even care, they respond to like 3-4 tickets now and then and call it a day, it's pathetic and borderline scam.

There's no point short trading alts here then. Anyone know a better alternative than Trex other than Polo?
They are scammers, of course there is no point. Do not deposit anything in this crap exchange because you wont be able to withdraw it even if you try to verify your account, they will just keep you on hold for weeks. Their twitter account is a joke, they will respond to like 5-6 tickets some days and that's it, they are going to scam like cryptsy very soon. It's pretty clear.

if you enable 2fa and lost your device or reinstalled the app . then you are f****d pretty hard . believe me this has happened to me on my skrill account . google should come with a simple solution which they still haven't.
Whenever you enable 2fa they give you a code in case something like that happens. So there is already a solution, you just didn't save the code. It doesn't matter whether you enable 2fa on bittrex or not though, they still wont let me withdraw, pathetic exchange.

If you buy bitcoin, I highly suggest you to pay attention to it because it can drop down very quickly. Personally I don't think investing in bitcoin is a good investment right now. Imagine you buy 1 whole bitcoin at 11k. Sure the price might go to 12k or even 15k eventually. However other well known alt coins can give you 2x or even 3x of your investment of 11k. Look at Cardano or IOTA or even ethereum classic, all of them were far better investments than bitcoin. In any case you should buy ethereum. Is far better than bitcoin and a ton of tokens depend on it.

The guy is a psychopath. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJT2CbfHTpo&feature=youtu.be&t=44m23s He believes bitcoin cash is ''his project'' Just watch the video, how can someone take this man seriously after that? He is mad just because people want to call it Bcash to avoid confusion. He is a manipulative psychopath and just as bad as the other ''CEO's '' of BCash. Like Rick Falkvinge who thinks child porn should be legal.

Thanks everyone, I am grateful for your time and appreciate all of the help. My motivation on this specific project is more for notoriety than income to be honest. I would love to launch a massive multiplayer contest with 24hr time limit starting with an entry fee of 1 satoshi, but that is impossible if fully decentralized, so what are realistic limits with regards to minimal amounts, fees, and transaction times?
A massive multiplayer contest with a ? hr time limit to compete and a minimum entry fee of ? BTC.
On security, I was mainly pondering if launching the game for alt crypto wouldn't be a bad idea to avoid a lot of that, sorry for my lack of clarity.
Thank you all, have a great day!
To be fair you might as well just launch it using something like ethereum or really some of the other popular alts with far far lower fees than bitcoin right now. The minimum fee for bitcoin would be too high right now I don't think it's worth it. For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 83,620 satoshis. That might not seem a lot but it's close to 7 dollars. I mean I would personally pay it to play a skill based game with the chance to win money. I always wanted something like this but there are almost no skill games like that. You can check the transaction times here: https://blockchain.info/es/charts/avg-confirmation-time?timespan=30daysSo I'm guessing a minimum amount to enter should be something like 0.001 with the possibility to cancel it in the first hour or something if you decide not to participate?

I'm personally not anti government, the system itself is good but the people that run it are not. I just really hate banks. Basically banks incentivize to make as many loans as possible, that's how they make a lot of money but there is a problem with this.
''Not only are banks not incentivized to prevent an over-reliance on debt and credit, but, in the absence of regulation, the financial sector is heavily incentivized to push the economy into more, and more risky, borrowing and lending.''
Personally what I think what's wrong with banks is that they are too big to fail, meaning the public, us, are the ones who end up subsidizing the risk the banks do take.
Really anything that's too big is usually bad, big corporations are also just as bad because they are already so big that they don't need to innovate or compete with someone else, they can just buy out the competition and crush them.
Funny example with youtube and google. Have you seen how they forced everyone to have a google+ account to still use youtube? No one liked that but they were still able to pull it off because they are so big that you have to accept, that's the problem.

How does the pre-sale work, do I have to join the telegram thing or am I going to be able to buy them somewhere? You will be able to buy them on the official site: https://earth-token.comSo what happens when the timer stops, do I get a deposit address to buy your tokens? Do I need an invitation code?
