742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you play in demo mode just to get rid of the urge to play? on: December 27, 2015, 06:35:16 PM
I never play in demo mode and I didn't know people have the urge to play or to gamble just for the sake of it, I thought people that get addicted do it for the money not for the game itself.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [2015-12-27]Bitcoin Milestone:15 Million Bitcoins Mined 100 Million Transactions on: December 27, 2015, 06:31:31 PM
Bitcoin Milestone: 15 Million Bitcoins Mined and 100 Million Transactions Reached

more than 100 million transactions have been settled...

This is impressive however Visa handles more transactions that Bitcoin has ever processed is only 8 hours.... just proves that Bitcoin has a long way to go get.

Yeah plus the fact that a huge chunk of these transactions are towards exchanges for trading. For BTCBTCBTC to be more successful as a currency the movement of value should be towards purchases.

Besides that congrats to BTCBTCBTCGrin Grin

Yeah, transactions to exchanges, gambling websites, simple exchanges from one wallet to another, in fact bitcoin purchases are actually a pretty small part of all bitcoin transactions because there is not many basic things you can buy with bitcoins easily.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: December 27, 2015, 05:03:28 PM
This is why Venezuela will be the first country to adopt a virtual currency.

 0.037 Bitcoins o almost 12 Us$

It loos like a lot of money, but is the equivalent to half of the monthly minimum wage

I had no clue Venezuela was doing that bad. They could actually earn a months salary with a signature campaign  Cheesy

You could actually be rich with a signature campaign but you can also get shot if you go there so i'd rather stay in my country where the value is lower than get shot in a country where life quality is bad
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 27, 2015, 04:48:47 PM
For those who just started with Bitcoins, maybe yes they are waiting for $100 rate, but for those who are already holding Bitcoins, that's bad news. Even if they say they want to buy again to invest, they don't wan't to see $100 again since they already have coins in their wallets.

People always want things to be cheap if they want to buy it but always want things to be as expensive as possible whenever they are going to sell it so it is normal but if someone is new in bitcoin then the price now is not too high for people to get in

Yes the argument that Bitcon is too expensive to buy is just stupid.
I mean you don't have to buy a whole BTC.You can buy a fraction of it, and repeat doing this every month.
How many people can afford to buy a bullion of gold? Just a few right?! That's why people can buy ounces of gold.
So with Bitcoin it is not that much different.

And also if the price goes so low there is a good chance a lot of people would lose interest and bitcoin will eventually drop even more so waiting for 100 dollars is probably not a good idea.
746  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price will rise even if its value doesn't on: December 27, 2015, 04:47:22 PM
There are different and various conception of value. Depending from the point of view taken in consideration or taken as referring point. As for me, the price is the real and the right value of a currency. So have no meaning to tell for a currency that the price of it will rise and the value not. Are the same thing. The same even with every other product (independently of its form or substance). Its value is the price with which is sold or the price which someone is ready to give to have it. This mean that the value is not a fixed quality. Because depends from to many factors. So even with the value of bitcoin. Move in time (even within seconds) according to the price in market compared to all the other currencies.

Not really, 10 dollars today are not the same as 10 dollars a hundred years ago, their ''price'' is the same but their value is different, what you used to buy with 1$ now you buy it with 5$ (That's an example)

If you already work and you need more money why don't you join a signature campaign? They won't pay you a lot but with your work plus that you will end up having enough to live. Sometimes it's hard but my father used to work 14 hours per day, 6 days per week and he still managed to have time to go to the gym.
748  Other / Meta / Re: You guys need to fix the ban evasion issue before making another forum. on: December 27, 2015, 04:40:25 PM
Somebody spamming Bitcoin is dead in speculation from a different account everytime they get banned would only prove my point. Fix the ban evasion issue and you won't have to manually delete nonsense like that.

It's impossible to fix ban evasion, even If someone came up with an idea to limit an user to make more than 1 account you can still buy accounts from other peope, it's simply impossible and you know it. Stop trolling.
749  Other / Meta / Re: HumanResources Signature Campaign FLOOD on: December 27, 2015, 04:38:06 PM
What's the point of advertising something if you are not going to pay? That will only give you bad reputation, I don't see many campaigns doing that because it's stupid unless they advertise ponzi schemes.
750  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Better than Faucets? on: December 22, 2015, 11:43:31 AM
Hello fellow community

Long story short, I have thought of opening a url-shortening service which pays users in satoshi to post links! Now they will recieve sathoshi for each visitor. The thing is that it potentially pays more than a regular faucets, I would assume 400k satoshi/1000 visitors. You will also get to be in more control of your earnings and not have to wait for hours. But the question is, is there a demand for this kind of service? As I haven't seen much of it in the bitcoin community! (excluding coinurl). I would like your opinion about this before starting the project!
Yes, there are some same services out there. But the problem is how the user will bring thousands of visitors every day to beat the earning from faucets. I don't think it is possible except they have their own website which have thousands of traffic every day.

And if you have a website you are already renting some space there for people to use their ads and they will probably pay the same or more. You could still post the links in your signature but I'm not sure how many clicks you would get and it's probably not worth it since you can join signature campaigns

After many difficult calculations I got the formula. Poor english + ''Sir'' = Scammer
752  Other / Meta / Re: Improvement in removing scammers on: December 22, 2015, 11:26:36 AM
How can we improve such steps to remove scammers from this site?
Should we add couple of registration steps or should admin of this page put escrow on each transaction?

I think with the new forum coming things will be much better for us. Right now people don't even need to verify their email before registering... They can just register as many accounts as they want.

There is really no viable way to stop mass registers. The fact that you don't need to verify the email doesn't really mean anything since you still need to use an email, you can't be using a random one, right?
753  Other / Meta / Re: I have never seen such a heartless evil online community. on: December 22, 2015, 11:24:31 AM

754  Other / Meta / Re: Most annoying person on bitcointalk on: December 18, 2015, 02:24:02 PM
For me it is Engg.Chaks , because of him i got ripped off my trust !
He scams people sells his account to them and get them also ripped.

You got fucked because you bought that account, supposedly, you deserve it even if you bought it, don't buy accounts and you will not get in trouble
755  Other / Meta / Re: Need resolution before I go to law enforcement concerning this forum. on: December 17, 2015, 01:54:40 PM
There seems to be a non-stop whine/hate/cry threads in this forum against people that have marked a lot of other people red. When Quickseller was in DT, BOOM, 10 threads everyday in the meta section, he got kicked, back to vod, he got added again in DT, again threads against quickseller, gets kicked again, back to Vod and so on..
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 17, 2015, 01:49:04 PM
No one truly saves money. Why are you saving money anyways? To spend it later. No one saves money just to save it. If you are going to buy bitcoins, you are going to spend them at some point or trade them back into cash. Yeah you may hold for years but eventually like any investment you will have to sell back otherwise, what's the point?
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: December 17, 2015, 01:45:24 PM
I learn the lesson myself that do not never sell my bitcoin unless you are in need of using it. Then do not sell it because you will start feeling regret when the price goes up

Yes I learned this as well. That's why I'm trying to hold as much as I can. Since I'm doing bitcoin next to my regular job, it's not needed to spend it on anything right now.
It's best to hold in this situation that I'm in.
yeah just made the same mistake again a few weeks back. Sold my bitcoin at 350 and BAM! 3 days later 420  Sad Hope I will never do that again Grin

It's a mistake now but you coulnd't know it back then. You will hold now and maybe it goes back to 200 and it stays there for 6 months, you never know. The real mistake would be to hold forever without any sense, you have to trade your bitcoins not hold them.
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015 on: December 17, 2015, 01:43:37 PM
i think directbet is best one Smiley

Really? I don't know, most sites that are not dice exclusive don't really have good dice games because they are focused primarily on other things, like sport betting in your case.
759  Other / Meta / Re: spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spam on: December 17, 2015, 01:38:20 PM

Is there a forum rule that we cannot make posts fewer than certain words even if the post gives out useful information.

No

What a good example.

KeyserSozeMC, you are trying to make a point here, right? Like spamming a lot to see if it will get you banned or money?
