Well he also admitted he wasn't at his best that day. I'm not sure he would have made it, bottle or no bottle.

I remember Nevra very well, and your point is valid. However there is a difference between getting involved in a project with a legit account, and an account that is obviously created to compulsively spam one liners regarding one project in various threads. I am honestly baffled he hasn't been nuked.

1- Helping out a friend is perfectly fine now and then if they put in some effort Smiley

2- You are right, I guess we are just not looking for the same content.

3- as you say, mistakes happen, to everyone.

I wish you good luck Smiley

See you around!

Classics are now in full swing with E3 that just finished, and Julien Alaphilippe winning Milan San Remo.

So what are your bets on

Gand-Wevelgem
Tour Of Flanders
Paris-Roubaix
Liege Bastogne Liege

Will Sagan win anything this year?
4604  Other / Meta / Re: Grant Me Legendary Status on: March 30, 2019, 11:17:49 AM
Admins of BTT, i'm requesting to become a legendary account. The merit system has failed, unless you're actively farming those merits on the Bitcoin sections specifically targeting the merit "whales," then reaching 500-1k merit is virtually impossible. I'm nearing 1k activity and before the grand shitcoin flood, that was sufficient enough to prove yourself to achieve that status.

While you have a point your logic is flawed.

The fact that it used to prove yourself enough to achieve that status in the past is only an argument if you believe that rule was valid in the first place.

Long story short it was and is NOT.

The actual system is way more fair for that matter, and you should consider yourself happy to have been airdropped with 500 merit due to your past activity.

I am not disregarding your work at any moment, and am thankful for what you do for the community in general and for crypto adoption in a general matter.
However this is NOT what merit is about.

Where you are right is that while people keep telling themselves this is bitcointalk and only that, others altcoin projects are also part of the crypto world, and are pushing adoption as well. This forum would not look like it does today if it was only about bitcoin. Seeing this argument again and again really annoys me A LOT.

The altcoin section is present, so since it is it should be treated as any other section, or just be deleted. Going halfway is plain hypocrisy.

Corrections are not born without mistakes ,its the way of life ,don't run away from mistakes they are the only way to set a scattered puzzles right. I'm just here to share my own experience since a year in crypto space and readers please have it in mind that no one is perfect ,i like accepting my mistakes so as to move forward ,one step at a time so please correct me if I'm wrong in some areas

Newbies this are few ways you can select good coins and I'm going to set something apart and that is,make sure you do thorough research on a coin or token before investing ,its your responsibility and its a must

Be selective when picking coins and token ,like know different between total supplies, for example I've noticed that low max supply coins appreciate in price better than large supply ones and that doesn't mean that there are no large supply coins that surpass low supply ones but mostly I prefer lower max supply ones

If you are a upcoming newbie that has no cash and struggling to survive ,join airdrops and bounties ,they will help and if you select a coin of let's say 100million max supply ,its not a must to get 10,000 pieces of that coin because a friend of your got it ,3000 pieces is a better way to start , same goes to billion coins if its 100billion ,even with 10$ you would get more than 3000 pieces of the 100million coin e.g pundix

Always remember that a little drop of water will surely makes a mighty ocean ,step by step bit by bit you will get there ,I started with 200pieces of electroneum as cheap as it was when released but now I have 5000pieces ,I got helped through airdrops mostly and some few faucets too ,no matter how broke or penniless you are ,you have HOPE ,the day you stop trying is the day you become hopeless .

I don't see how these are really adding value.
First one is just some nobody offering a service nobody has reviewed yet in a self moderated thread, and the other one, it yet another post about how to make money on airdrop and bounties, both causing the forum a lot of harm.

Just found this gem

Hello everyone,

Recently I discovered this article about Crowdholding. It seems like a very good platform to earn some crypto as it's a little different to most bounty platforms. They seem to include bounties, but In addition to catering to the regular bounty hunters the site also has a second category called ‘co-creators’.

Anybody who joins the site can complete either type of task. Co-creators complete more varied tasks which are quite different from ordinary bounties. They can include things like reviewing a website, app, graphics or video, completing a survey to share your thought about a company or its products, or being creative and coming up with idea about how a business can improve its product or operations. These are just some examples, as there are many more things which could be posted as a co-creator task.

They have over 36k signups, 90+ startups on their platform and listed on CoinMarketCap. Is anyone using this platform and what do you think about it? I've joined up today and it seems like a good little platform that is a sleeping giant right now.

You do realize you merited an advertisment post?
All this user is doing is posting about this service. This is hardly doing the forum any good.

I can't in any way support you as a merit source considering your merit sent history.

Why we should "desperately" hold 35k euro  when we have been in business since 2011 and processed thousands of bank transactions ?  No, we are just looking to find a solution which is legal and, at the same, time

Again you are dodging the question and not answering:

Was there a shift in the users metadata?
What will you do with the funds in the end if the user does not send you the information you are asking for?

I am trying to find a solution, which the user could use without exposing his documents, and which would make sure he is the rightful owner.

You are able to send him his BTC back as there is no legal issue in doing so. You keep avoiding the point and are acting very suspiciously.

Warning:

There are so many Entries coming from the Newbies on the ROCKET'S EVENT, I think OP should limit the participants by its Rank. Possibilties of being abused is extremely High!

Why would they care. The point is having new registrations and people playing on the site. Which is happening. Newbie or not, doesn't really matter for the sites operation.

Better than nothing.

Is there a theoretical model that would allow to calculate the maximum performance for a given hardware?

This would give an idea on how much more optimization you can achieve.

Please note: The name on the bank wire must be correct otherwise the bank is returning the transfer.  This is a basic rule in AML.

When using SEPA what you are saying is simply wrong. I tried it myself a few weeks ago. Maybe this is how it should be, but as a matter of fact it is NOT like this.

You don't have to do the AML if we follow your own T&C for crypto withdrawal, so it is only a matter for you to be convinced OP is still the same. So a signature SHOULD be enough.

You are deviating from topic. Also you did not answer the question regarding what would happen to the funds in case of no documentation from OP.

Finally did the metadata of OP change significantly to back up your doubts?

To me you are desperately looking for reasons to hold that money back. If op proves ownership through signature, AML requires you to exactly nothing and you are legally entitled to release the funds.

PS: I cannot post private correspondece with Susana on a public chat as you can understand.  But they are quite clear about it ... at least back in 2013/2014
With her approval you could.

1) Name and Last Name
2) We sent some wire transfers in the same Name and Last Name in a EU Country
3) On the claim she filed out she is putting the same name and last name
4) We do have correspondence, Ip, emails, ecc on file

1) If it's tied to no document this means nothing
2) I thought you didn't send any wire transfers without KYC? Also there is no check against the name when doing a wire transfer. Only the IBAN/SWIFT code is checked. There is no need for a match to bank records.
3) Again, she would probably do that if she used a fake name in the first place
4) still no proof of identity

Therefore, we could safely say we do have the real name and last name.

Actually you cannot.

@OP can you provide a signature from a wallet you used to fund you account? Or alternatively can you prove ownership of a bank account you used to fund your account earlier, by doing a new transfer of a predetermined small amount (a few cent).

Repeating the same thing all over again won't make anything move in the right direction.
Why not wait for her to answer to my question.

Regarding the amount involved it is perfectly possible that the owner used a fake name. However this shouldn't make it impossible to recover the funds.

4617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Rock Trading Scam www.therocktrading.com Exchange Review fraud opinion on: March 28, 2019, 09:07:16 AM
Just wondering eliale...

Considering he believed he would not need to give any document based on your previous T&C and your FAQ, and he entered a fake name to protect his privacy.

Does he have a way to get back his money?

Why is a signed message from a funding address of his trading account not enough to prove his ownership?

Please be precise and exhaustive in your answer, and give us details about what will happen with the money if he used a fake name.
