4621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day on: April 29, 2023, 08:45:57 AM
Date/year : 2021
Amount or Figure : $5k when converted from my local currency
What Game : luck based

I actually felt the world has ended for me and it took me s much effort to go through that loss because that money messed my entire life up that very year and I had to sell off some of my properties and even relocated from my house then to a much more smaller apartment to be able to gain back balance and it took me almost a year to recover because all my hopes where built on that money and I was hoping to double the money for a business.
4622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 29, 2023, 06:44:22 AM
A politician in the Philippines claimed to have had a hand in the development of the very controversial e-sabong platform he operated e-sabong so he can make a lot of money so he can use for the campaign, and his family to win local elections because the election in the Philippines is very costly many candidates are buying votes to secure their win, there were reports that he murdered their family's opponent because of e-sabong.
Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling, in fact, there are a lot of politicians who are operators of illegal small-town lotteries this is to accumulate funds they can use for election campaigns.

Congressman confirms past stint with e-sabong when it was not yet banned by gov’t
I think there is already a rule that prohits politicians or any government officials from getting involved in gambling and now reading through the OP, there is a murder case associated with the political aspirant and don't be surprised if he wins since anything can happen in politics and anyone with the highest money might even emerge as the winner wgeh there are other suitable aspirant as well.
I think the law should act very fast with their investigations and there isn't any law in that country restricting politicians from involving in gambling, then the law should be reviewed and amended so as not to encourage people from stealing government funds through that means.
4623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone at FIFA/UEFA should do something about the referees on: April 28, 2023, 09:21:47 PM
I don't see anything so hard with the referees and and I don't see any reasons to be scared of them and most times I think the audience have more opinion in decision making rather than just thinking so less of them and currently now i see no reason why we should be scared or think so much negative of the referees when we know that their decisions are mostly based on clear interpretation from the audience and what they're are shown on the screen in cases when a. Lead vision is needed to make a precise location.
I also understand that the referees have alot of hands in a match and I believe that most of this international refeers wouldn't want to risk their reputation for just a days meal.
4624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 28, 2023, 08:58:55 PM
This is really insane and I think I've see even worst cases as this and I've seen cases where a man had to wear a custom just to hide his identity from his family because he thinks the money win from the jackpot migy get into the head of his family and make them lazily but I never agreed with that and now another story if a grandfather trying to kidnap his granddaughter simply because he wants to have more mkeny to gamble and rather than trying to brutalize this persons, I think it will be best that they be taken into a correctional center so that the necessary can be done on them rather than blaming them.
4625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 08:42:29 PM
Wow this story really got me cracking up because I know how unfair that country can be and there are possibilities that who has the highest money has more chances of winning the case and one thing is certain that no matter how hard we try to push blames of losses on others, nature will always have it to tell in you especially when you gamble with money you can't afford to lose and I see no reason why one should gamble so hard that they forget to know when they get off hook and most times chasing after losses is one thing that keeps peole off their checks
4626  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: April 28, 2023, 07:46:55 PM
I feel so bad about how people come out boldly to talk ill about the business of another and from the look of things, it seems you were paid to do or make this post against fortunejack and these were just assumptions by myself and there is no way you should come up with an account with two red trust and expect people to believe the things you say without any prove of evidence and still think so full of yourself.

If you truly want to help people pass a helping information and a very important information like this, then you should also do well to show evidence of the things you've said so far and I'm sorry if this rumor aren't true, I'm sure your account might earn more red trust from this post.
4627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 28, 2023, 07:34:57 PM
It should be written on their terms, because if not, then that casino is a scam. Though this kind of casino is really unfair for the new, for sure it is newbie friendly because you are forced to play your deposit until you meet their requirements. For those who are heavy gamblers, this is fine because they can easily achieve those, but for those of us who are not as heavy gamblers, it is a disadvantage.

I think if a casino is operating legally and has some kind of license, the terms of such a casino would surely spell out information about mandatory wagering requirements. The problem is that most casinos prefer not to advertise that, and it may be very difficult for a beginner to find this information, especially if the Terms of Service are written in small print.
It would be great if many casinos notified users of the need to make mandatory wagering before a user makes a deposit.

I have seen casinos that start very well and then end up being scams, and people see if they have the licenses and meet all kinds of specifications and many demands, but they do not take that into consideration when scamming, the same with all the licenses steal the same,so for me a casino that has all the licenses is not a Reason to be totally reliable, and that is determined by the same site, there are sites that comply with the complete process with the licenses,to please the regulatory entities but They don't guarantee anything.

I get your points mates and one thing people also have to understand is the fact that a casino is also a business for another and not just apkau ground where gamblers are expected to win always as the casino is also trying hard to stay in business and if you'll agree with me that if a casino spits out it's wagering requirements, Many of the gamblers wouldn't agree to use their platforms and we should also put in consideration that the casinos has some very strict rules and regulations they also have to abide to while trying to please their loyal and esteemed customers.
4628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 01:42:22 PM
As humans, there are always wishes and desires and when people gamble, they always do so with hopes and believe of making profits and I don't see anything wrong with people having myths because I believe those are hopes that keeps them going and positive..
When I increase my bet, I do so with more hopes of making more profit and getting more in return and I actually don't believe in having any miraculous strategy to comb in profits and this is because I believe in doing the right thing and hoping for a positive result at the end.
In all we do, we should try as much as possible not to gamble with what they can't afford to lose because it always ends with regrets as nothing is gauranteed in the gambling industry.
4629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 27, 2023, 12:50:52 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses
In fact I have not wasted time on referrals so far. Getting bonus by referral is a complete waste of time. For example I create account to another person with my referral but if he doesn't complete all the tasks as per the rules then I won't get that referral bonus. After that if he completes everything but doesn't deposit and place bets in the casino then I won't get the referral bonus. Making money by referral is very difficult for a person. In some cases there are rules which are very difficult for a human being to fulfill. People go a long way and then fail. Basically referrals are a complete waste of time.
Exactly mate and I think you got all the concept of what op is actually trying to say and I couldn't also agree any less with you guys because I also believe that referral bonuses are absolute waste of time and there is no need if getting someone register on a casino and still not been able to claim any rewards if the invitee haven't made any deposit and haven't been able to wager equivalent of the deposited amount.
I also agree with the fact that there are people who pack in so much money from referral bonuses but I am on the opinion that the activities required to claim this referral bonuses aren't worth the rewards except one has some gambling whales in their list.
4630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 27, 2023, 12:22:52 PM
As long as there's a risk involved and it is some kind of prediction, win or lose type of games, then I would always consider it as a form of gambling.
Sometimes even if it's not directly money as long as it have a value and it is being risk then yes it is gambling.
Exactly mate and I couldn't agree any less with you but I think the very type of game the op was talking about wasn't having any risk especially with regards to the player and I don't think the player has any form of loss, I mean the player doesn't have anything entirely to lose and I think the superpicks is actually trying to achieve a firm of marketing.
I've always known gambling as a very risky business that has to do with losing of money and if one isn't scared if losing anything then it isn't gambling from my perspective.
4631  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is something big happening behind the scenes that no one is talking about? on: April 27, 2023, 11:46:48 AM
Well I'm not at the back stage but I think one of the major reasons Amazon is laying down some of their workers is the fact that they are already adapting to AI and they claim that it helps to cut down cost and it also does it's work faster and accurately since it has to follow a already laid down protocols.

I really don't know if the stake bonuses in recent times but to the best of my ability, or knowledge, I believe that bonuses or promos aren't given at all times but on special occasions and there should be cases where the bonuses increases or decreases but whatet the case be, I don't think anything bisnwrong with stake.
4632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 27, 2023, 11:29:32 AM
Which are best stake alternatives
I search for good casinos with similar original games
Hey mate
Why not just head to stake and get all the features are seeking for while trying to get a replica wheh you can get the original off same bet and even with more safety and confidence?
I really don't know why people always get to bother themselves with so much trash a d giving no room to the things that actually matters and to be frank that's actually sickening but nevertheless, I think you should give more clearification on what you actually need so you can easily get someone to assist you without having to beat yourself up so hard.
4633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 07:12:08 PM
Most times, it seems we just end up bothering ourselves with topic creation especially the irrelevant ones when there are opportunities to get better guide and I wuld also want to know you didn't want to enquire all you needed to know from your cousin especially since his doing well in it and there are more possibilities tat you would have gotten all the desire answers to your question directly from him.
Well boxing us a very Interesting sport and most times its always free and fair and all you needed do is make some good research on the player you're about betting on which includes previous matches and strength and I believe you might be one step ahead.
4634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 26, 2023, 06:59:42 PM
I've heard so many similar stories of politicians getting involved in casinos and not just getting involved but also owning and running some major casinos and I think there are rules that kicks against politicians and government officials from involving in trading and gambling because there are possibilities of them looting government funds and channeling it through their platforms.
I haven't know of the fore mentioned platform but one ring I've always know is that most of this politicians are always self centered and I will always place their personal interest above the interest of their subject and I will personally advice that peiole should stay clear if this very casino to avoid stories that touch.
4635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 26, 2023, 10:34:17 AM
having unlimited money to use the martingale strategy would not be fun. because there is no purpose whatsoever when having unlimited money even if the gambler loses how many millions of dollars it doesn't matter because he still has an unlimited amount.
meanwhile, as we have limited money and use strategies to recover losses or gain profits, it is like the thrill of gambling and can feel that it is more fun to gamble with limited money than having unlimited money but not being able to enjoy every betting session.
But in the martingale strategy, having large amounts of money is a must because it is very influential for success in playing.
But also not all gamblers who have large amounts of money will use this strategy because it is very risky to lose more money.
The strategy is indeed good enough to bring in a chance of victory but if luck is not on your side then no one can chase victory.
In gambling strategy is still a number because the most important thing is luck and caution in betting.
In other words, you're saying that martingale strategy in gambling only has to do with luck and if one doesn't have any luck,no matter the amount of money one has, one shouldn't engage in martingale strategy right?
Now if this is right with what I think, then I don't see any reason to engage in this strategy  because I think the risk is far more than the rewards and I don't see reason to invest in a risk business as this, that the risk will be far more than the rewards.
4636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 26, 2023, 09:36:53 AM
Well I think at some point, your friends might not be wrong and asking them to show you probes of them making more profits than losses isn't a justifying reason to not count Bitcoin investment as not gambling because if you agree with me, you'll understand that there are people who are full time into gambling and are doing extremely very well in it as compared to some crypto traders.
You also spoke about studying the chart and comparing it to lives games and I also wanted to remind you that you can aswell compare this to soccer betting where gamblers also have to make predictions based on analysis as well and with this few points I think there isn't much difference between gambling and crypto investment since they both have to do predictions to Make profit.
4637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bets.io on: April 26, 2023, 08:41:11 AM
bets.io is pretty great in my opinion. They’ve got super quick deposits and withdrawals. An impressive amount of providers with some great slots and table games. But what I like is the bonuses and promos, and they’re support staff couldn’t be more helpful or responsive. Phil and Barney really know their stuff and are very prompt with solving issues. Overall I would (and have lol) recommended this casino to many friends. There is no KYC or verification on deposits or withdrawals because it’s all crypto. Give them a try 💁🏻‍♂️
There is actually something very fishy about all of this because I see no reason why a newbie account just springs up from absolutely no where with claims against a casino that has long been absent here a d another newbie account also coming out from the blues with clams to defend same casino
Well I'm not pointing fingers at anyone but from closer look, you'll also see that the first account with claims against the casino made hut a single post and same thing with the defending account as well.
Whatever the case might be, rather than all this dramas, I think the casino should simply just reactivate their thread and get things straight.
4638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: April 24, 2023, 06:04:39 PM
Firstly drop in the price of Bitcoin helps strengthen the Bitcoin ecosystem by making impatient holders sell their Bitcoin hodlings to others who understand Bitcoin better.

The drops in prices gives investors like myself windows to buy more Bitcoin at a very cheap price. Price drops are opportunity to buy more Bitcoin and not a window to sell but people sell when there's a drop in price which is very wrong. Their decision make me questions them why they didn't sell when the price was higher but they always think they price will go higher that's why.
People are always greedy when the price is increasing and become fearful when the price is dropping. They refuse to sell when the price is high but when the price then drop, they panic and begin selling, usually those who are guilty of this are newbies or beginners that have no experience of the market or those who aren't using spare money to buy Bitcoin.
When the money invested isn't your spare, you wouldn't be at peace with the market. We shouldn't invest money that are borrowed or meant to be used for other important things in buying Bitcoin or we'll regret.
4639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: April 24, 2023, 05:34:07 PM
I will recommend to watch some YouTube videos because you will learn properly there. You can also ask here and many Members have replied with there own experience but Youtube videos will teach you practically which is more smoother.

While they do that, they should also beware of wrong information been posted by influencers because they were paid to do so, YouTube has lots of misinformation and you can be easily distracted if you don't stick to what brought you to the platform. There are lots of videos on the platform so you should be able to distinguished between the paid ads from the authentic ones.
Paid videos always has a site or coin they're trying to shill to you to use so they get paid. If you're watching those videos and you begin noticing then talk about a coin or sites frequently as the best, then just know you're watching a paid advertisement and most of their review are biased.
As a starter in the market, one way to earn from cryptocurency is to just buy coins and hold, buying Bitcoin and just holding is an example and you'll be earning good profit without stress.
4640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much will the NFT collection rise in price after Elon Musk notices it? on: April 24, 2023, 05:19:20 PM
You plan on creating a designated NFT about a sole individual Elon Musk. This very much makes him your target and only customer and so, his likely the only one who would want this piece. What happens if he eventually doesn't pick interest? You'll end up stock just where you began and that's so not your expectation on the project right.

No that's not how the NFT space works, he might create the collection for elon musk but his targeted audience would be the flippers that buy nft to flip them for profits and if his NFT collection because popular he can make a significant amount of profits. If you want elon musk to notice you then, you have to make those nft in forms of meme with twitter theme and his recent obsession which is twitter blue.
I have seen elon musk sharing memes in regards to him not caring about what people's opinion are but they have to pay the $8 fee to get the verification sticker so making an nft in that regards might get his attention. elon musk is a very funny guy and he might just tweet one of those nft if he finds them funny.
But as the nft market is concerned at the moment, there isn't much hype and you won't be getting attention creating a collection at the moment. Maybe the op should wait until the hype of nft returns before he can adventure into that market.
