If you put your finger in your ear and scratch, it sounds like PacMan.

I wonder if the red accents really light up.
486  Economy / Goods / Re: No prescription, no hassles- bitcoins for meds. Keep it simple. on: March 01, 2012, 05:33:32 PM
I don't think I'm at risk of becoming really fat since everybody in my family is really skinny.  But I just wanted to do some sculpting, so to speak.  However I think I'm just going to start running again to burn off excess fat... I'm tryin to save for a 7990 so it's win/win.  Sorry Flax :]

Mousepotato, if you think 100 is too big even if you're 5'2" we need to go out after work today and discuss it over a few drinks. My treat. Wink

Heh thanks for the offer CBH, but I haz a boyfriend who might get mad :]  I'm 5'0" though so the extra 5lbs is more noticeable than you might think.
488  Economy / Goods / Re: No prescription, no hassles- bitcoins for meds. Keep it simple. on: February 29, 2012, 07:43:10 PM
Yeah, wow that's a little too skinny.  I need to get down to my target weight of 93-95lbs in a few weeks.  I'm at like 100 right now.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: February 29, 2012, 06:36:10 PM
im doing 200kh/s on a stock 5830  Grin

At current difficulty that's about .167 BTC worth of Litecoins per day.  Or you could just mine .25 BTC with the same card.
490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My initial Radeon HD 7970 mining benchmarks on: February 28, 2012, 09:43:14 PM
It would be really sweet to see a single 7990 around 1.4 GHash! Can't wait to see the results once they come out.

I doubt it.  Much like you don't see any 5970 @ 840 MH/s.  They are same chips but they are clocked lower and worse they tend to have inferior VRMs.  5970/6990 use 3 phase power,  5870/6970 use 4 phase power.

Maybe 1.1 GH/s.

840 MH/s out of a 5970 *can* be done.  I've done it.  However, I didn't like what I saw on my Kill-a-Watt though since it required overvolting.  Technically it's possible but then again so is snorting wasabi.

I heard a rumor that March 6th is the release date. Anybody know if this is true?
492  Economy / Goods / Re: No prescription, no hassles- bitcoins for meds. Keep it simple. on: February 28, 2012, 08:25:35 PM
The "size zero pill" is sweeping Hollywood because of its ability to induce rapid weight loss.

We supply 200 pills, 20mcg each at a highly competitive price of $69 which includes shipping.  Look at our competition!  Their prices are insane

How many pills do you have to take (and for how long) before you start seeing an effect?

Oh, and you guys are real hilarious Tongue
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impressive bitcoin one liners for non bitcoiners on: February 27, 2012, 11:31:47 PM
There's nearly 8.5 million Bitcoins in world-wide circulation.  That's one Bitcoin for every 711 people on the planet.  The only question is:  How do we enrich the other 710?

A fool and his money are soon Bitcoin miner.
494  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Logitech 50% Coupon Code on: February 27, 2012, 07:31:12 PM
Hmm then for this code to be worth it, you must buy at least $80 worth of stuff.

Right, but the discount scales since it gets applied to your entire shopping cart (as long as there aren't multiples of a given item).  So if you wanted to pick up some items for re-sale it would be perfect.
495  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 5850 and 5970 on: February 27, 2012, 06:51:49 PM
I have a few 5850 and 5970 that will be for sale when the 7990 launches around 3/6. Im looking for $120 for the 5850 and $350 for the 5970. Free shipping in the US. PM me your offers.

Wait.. wat? OMG 3/6 is the launch date? aCk.
496  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5970 x1 5870 x2 on: February 27, 2012, 06:46:18 PM
Damn, I'm all tapped out right now but those prices look pretty good.  I wouldn't mind adding another 5970 to my gaming system.
497  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] Logitech 50% Coupon Code on: February 27, 2012, 05:56:54 PM
Is anybody interested in a 50% coupon code on Logitech.com?  It's good for the next 29 days and works on most Logitech products, minus the home-security items.

  • Doesn't work for multiples of the same part #
  • Doesn't work for home-security IP cameras
  • Discount is applied to the original MSRP, not to any applicable sale price/scratch & dent/refurb price
  • Does work for entire shopping cart, as long as you don't have multiples of the same part #

I'd like to get $40 in BTC for this code, so this will come in handy if you're going to buy multiple items (ie. keyboard, mouse, headset).  Even though the discount only applies to the MSRP of each item, you still end up with Black Friday-like prices on everything in your cart.

Edit: Sold.  Thanks!

499  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much do you pay for power? on: February 24, 2012, 07:20:30 PM
Between .04 and .06 per kWh depending on the time of day, plus $13 for every kW used per billing cycle.

This reminds me of one of Issac Asimov's pieces: The Relativity of Wrong
