Heh, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. If you're not, I basically asking what other projects are out there that people could use all the computer equipment/gear they purchased for Bitcoin mining if they decide they no longer want to use it for Bitcoin mining.
I know one option is to just sell the equipment, but I'm sure there's other projects that might be able to use the computing power as well.
I thought I was pretty obvious I think the next thing I'll lend my GPU power toward is the Battlefield 3 project.

Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Ask miners? What do you want from your pool? How can we make MT.Red Better?

I LOVE MtRed, but I just can't stand the variance that comes with the last few difficulties. I think in order to attract more people to the pool, adopt some of Deepbit's features, such as: - the ability to adjust the timeout alert threshold for each worker
- total BTC generated for the last 24hr window
- SMALLER fonts. Not to pick nits, but with MtRed it looks like I'm visiting a video game site when I'm at work. With Deepbit it's all business and doesn't look too out of place in a work environment
- more lines per page on the "Found Blocks" page
- instant updates of worker shares instead of once every 5 minutes
That's all I can think of now

Looks like another tumble to the single digits is currently in the making. Heads up.
Yeah, I got back in at 10.60, but all day yesterday it kinda hovered just below 11. If it wasn't going to bust out of the 10's yday, it wasn't going to any time soon so I bailed at 10.80'ish. Now it's being driven down by panic sellers and I'm about to place a buy at 8.8000.

We've been chillin within $.30 of the daily high all day now and it seems like the panic sellers (myself included) have finally calmed down. Now everybody back into the pool! All the cool kids are doing it!

Looks nice. But wouldn't the motherboard flex too much in the middle when you plugin/unplug pcie extenders, for example. I might like to see more support for the motherboard middle (like plywood, that might ruin the look though), but if you're careful maybe wont be an issue.
x1 extenders don't really require that much force to plug in.
