481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Casualty List on: April 17, 2015, 06:47:55 AM
While Bitcoin is not dead yet, maybe important bitcoin companies have come and gone.  Cut and paste to add your favorites to the list...

1) Mt. Gox
2) Bitinstant
3) Silk Road
4) Cavirtex
5) Butterflycoin
6) Brawker
7) Huh

and silk road #2 and evolution
(though very few would call them important companies.)
Also, Satoshidice sold out a couple years ago

484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 12, 2015, 12:54:51 PM
Would somebody be kind enough to post the status of SEC investigation if there have been any updates in the past week (was away on vacation)?
485  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: April 01, 2015, 09:27:25 PM
Loan amount required: 1.00 BTC
Term length: 2 Weeks
Interest: 20% (Repay 1.20 BTC)
Reason: Some business, I am new on this forums tho
Collateral: I can provide signed messages from both of my addresses with total received 400 BTC on both of them.
Here is both addresses
Address: 17Jjhm5rAWxM19cYm2ibpucWQpy6XfzpNi
1CQHrpfRMRoLXHXnyiWqAVQEUqJqTWS6MU

I can receive the loan on any of them, also some more addresses with small trades around ~23 BTC in total
Here is a SS from the total of my blockchain wallet

Let me know if we need to discuss anything more ^^

Just some altcoins for collateral and you should be set. If they're newer or risky alts, 175% of loan request should be sufficient.
Good luck with your project.

I have never used any other currency such as bitcoins, as I stated I am a business man and used to do some exchanges, bitcoins is the only crypto currency I ever used and maybe its cause I am not into mining and such stuff, its probably why this is why I am new here cuz I never been into forums and cryptos I just use it as a place to hold my funds and thats all.

Check my post and see if the stuff I tried offering as collateral could be accepted by anyone, thanks a lot for the suggestions and comment tho ^^

Ahh, I understand. You only want to use Bitcoins for collateral.
Please to send Marco 3.50 Bitcoins as collateral and he will loan you the 1.00 Bitcoin at 20% for 1 week.
After one week, return Marco his 1.20 Bitcoins and he will return your collateral of 3.50 Bitcoins.

i am so impressed with your passion and wanting to know why Muslims hate Christians well i must say that its not the usual Muslims (conservative) that killings innocent lives, just as we have in the Christendom different denomination such as CATHOLIC, PRESBYTERIANS, BAPTIST ETC so do they have in Islam, but i guess Muslims haven't come out to fully set themselves apart from the various crimes being perpetrated by this criminals such as Isis, but it must be noted that BOKO HARAM which terrorized Northern Nigeria has been disassociated from Islam

Thank you for pointing that out. Boko haram also are Moslims. All they do is terrorize innocent Africans.

Pennsylvania
Paul 45, Clinton 44

....that's a 12 point swing from the last poll.

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/news-and-events/quinnipiac-university-poll/2016-presidential-swing-state-polls/release-detail?ReleaseID=2180

Pretty sure Obama won PA by ten points or so.

Scott Walker vs. Hillary in the general election.
It's going to be a fight 'till the end!
488  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: April 01, 2015, 09:37:23 AM
God damn it if you guys divert this thread into another Christian/Muslim debate I am going to take the hammers of all gods on you. STICK TO THE SUBJECT OR MAKE YOUR OWN THREADS.

moslims like to terrorize the world and murder people.
Ok, we're back on topic.
Now discuss why they do such things...

490  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Class action against Coinbase on: March 25, 2015, 09:56:27 AM
Yep, that was not well thought out by CB
Surprisingly amateurish to be honest

It was insane and really Rick Rolled the shit out of myself and a few folks I know.

Everyone should write their Attorney General. (totally free and takes about 5-10 minutes to fill out a complaint)

I got a letter back from the California AG today and next week I'm going to follow up with the NY firm mentioned in the OP.  If I choose to go with them then I can't sue Coinbase with another, but hopefully they are going to be the right guys for the case.  I spoke to the person posted in the OP a few weeks back and it sounded pretty decent.  They charge $0 and when they win the case they charge 25-33% of the winnings... which at this point seems ok to me. I'll pay 33% and give them a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle if we have to take them to court successfully.

Waiting game at this point... all this will be a long process now.

Would be funny if the State handed out criminal charges... I'd chuckle a bit. Fuck those Coinbase bastards.

I'd rather stupid people not waste tax payer dollars on cases with zero chance of winning.
491  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [03-22-2015] Coinbase Hits 2.1m Users Milestone on: March 25, 2015, 09:47:28 AM
The numbers wouldn't really surprise me as they are pretty much the easiest to purchase and sell bitcoins for Americans. Convenient as well.

Same here. Had one purchase that didn't go through instantaneously, by the time I had customer service one the phone, already had BTC in my account.
Top notch company.
492  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: March 23, 2015, 01:20:22 AM
Sure, Ben Franklin is commonly called an atheist and most Americans aren't overly religious either way.   But - can you name a single US president who wasn't a Christian?

John F. Kennedy was Catholic.
Barack H. Obama is something other than Christian. He claimed Muslim on his college application that was released to the public. But, really, we have no idea with this one.
Washington had memberships in both a Catholic church and a Methodist church.
493  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 22, 2015, 12:39:30 AM

Hi Marco, i've joined another campaign as i wont be posting much over the next month it works better.  Will rejoin is you can offer a higher paid deal, perhaps a fixed rate monthly.  100 post fixed rate at 0.22 a month or something would be cool.

Thanks man!

Noooooo, Marco don't do it!
I love the no minimum posts as I sometimes struggle to hit 25 in a month (in the accredited threads).
Love the current setup!
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Credit Suisse writes about Bitcoin on: March 21, 2015, 06:57:43 PM
Didn't read the article, sorry. I did see that the SEC filed some sort of disciplinary actions against Credit Suisse in the past month or two. (Do not know the charges, saw it in passing while looking through the SEC website for anything on GAW mining.)
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: March 17, 2015, 02:03:41 AM

The American nation was founded by people who were Christian in a big way. True, lots of evil people have used the nation over the years for unChristian activity. But the base was Christian. You can find all kinds of Christian sayings and indicators throughout Washington, D.C.

The point is that Christianity will be found in the books and school teachings simply because that's where the nation came from, that is how it was settled originally.

It was settled as a Christian society by England before its Independence. The U.S. inherited that Christian foundation, as many of the architects of the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights (7 years later) were religious, in their public life, but non practicing in their private affairs. (For example, our first elected* President, George Washington. He was a dues paying member of over a dozen churches, even a board member on several, but rarely attended a Sunday service while home in Mt. Vernon, Virginia. Yet, on public trips, made a show to attend church services several times a week.)

*President of the Continental Congress was a largely ceremonial position. Therefore, most (all) historians begin the first presidency, with George Washington, in 1789.

EDIT: In my head, I was mixing up the Bill of Rights with the Treaty of Paris...Bill of Rights was 15 years later, not 7.
496  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's more lucrative - mining or high rank signature campaign? on: March 16, 2015, 02:48:08 AM
well maybe 2 is too far stretched, but 1 btc is possible for sure, (i'm making more with bit-x right now), and with primedice also, i was making 1+ btc in some months

with mining you will barely roi..

I do both.  I get a fews coins a year  posting and a few coins a year mining.

Game is very hard right now.

I've tried the mining route and lost thousands. The sig. campaign route creates a little folding money to keep. (Except when there's a UFC PPV, I tend to lose a bit to the books.)

Were you mining at home?   Mind if i ask how the loss of thousands?

Yes, and yes.
When LTC started skyrocketing to $40, I paid a gentleman to custom make 2 mining rigs for me. I (stupidly) was basing my break even and profits on rising projections....obviously, LTC had peaked and my hashing power wasn't anything special as the new asic scrypt miners were being introduced. So, accepted my losses, sold off equipment and moved on.

498  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 14, 2015, 02:35:56 PM
Hi all,

how long do you think it will need to get to 1.000?
Months or years?

In my opinion 1-2 years, just would like to know your opinions

The rapid increase to $1k was artificial last time. That artificial increase is not likely to happen again. We will need a massive influx of new buyers (users) for that to happen again and it will be a slow process. I would say many years before seeing that again but the good news is the price should be stable when it happens next time.

We all just need to be vigilant if we see a trader name Willy 2.0 pop up down the line.  Tongue
499  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: March 12, 2015, 06:18:41 AM

Post it here and I will send him the message on Skype. We are good friends so we speak often.
