All I can say is that the Silver ATX has been selling silver for EAC sells fast!   This is awesome,  but i s there any ideas on how we can put these silver oz sales to better use to further expose EAC?

I honestly fight the urge to buy em all up for my self when I see them for sale! I do not in hopes that the EAC to silver attracts new people to EAC,  I have taken to twitter and gotten us some retweets and favorites about the silver sales, not many at all as I have limited followers, my best is @madbitcoins! pretty happy about that.  When there is 60 oz of silver for sale for EAC, that's when the Dev team needs to come out of the wood work most,  I have 20 followers and I get some action from those tweets.  If the Earthcoin twitter handle would tweet it would get much more notice,  where is the facebook updates?   Silver for EAC! this is by far our best selling point in my opinion at present. Even if all people do is buy EAC and immediately liquidate if for silver.  This makes EAC slightly more scares since ATX is holding EAC and it takes away some sell pressure.   It doesn't do much Good If a community member like myself spends my EAC to buy silver, as my intention is to hold those EAC aswell.  It would be interesting to see how many different buyers are purchasing the silver? I hope its more than I think. Any ideas on how we can put the silver to better use? or to better promote the sales to a wider demographic.  I also wonder if it is time to team up with a emerging coin on earthazaar?

One idea, if ATXsilver see this, is to list an ounce of sliver at whatever his asking price is (most recently 350k EAC). But instead of a buy it now, use a 7 day auction with starting price at that 350K or whatever buy it now price would be. That way it'll stay up longer and give more time for us all to advertise Earthazaar and the great things people can purchase with Earthcoins.

Did the Dutchman get lost after a late night in the party district?

The Dutchman has been home all day dodging bad weather in the Midwest and was that not a good thing to do?

Being stuck in the Midwest, as well, should I travel to better weather?

I tried that and it did not work out but maybe it could work for others?

Would they fair better given the similar circumstances?

I think moving might simply be trading one thing for another; how about you?

Wouldn't that be a reasonable assumption?

Competition is always good for us consumers hope the day when one brand dominated completly the market will never come also do you think ARM SoC is the next big thing in computing arena?

Not heard of it but I should investigate, should I not?

yes you should, ARM is dominating the low power consumption arena but no they are moving to 64bit chips and new architecture, so did you read about them yet?

No but it sounds interesting so I should read up on it, should I not?

Yes you should, when you have the time, and maybe learning about ARM will hint you to some use cases that you might be interested on , what are use of a SoC are interessted in?

I'm not sure which religion I'd be considered. I DO celebrate Festivus each year.
It's a Festivus for the rest of us!

45 Million EAC sale on Cryptsy?! Price dropped another 30%

Yikes.
We need to sell a big investor on the future of EAC.
Maybe someone that can put in 25 BTC to stabilize the price until we make it to the first halving.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Spending bitcoin on Amazon: when will it happen? on: April 28, 2014, 12:05:38 AM

I voted on October of this year. I think bitcoin will continue to grow. Once we get close to the holiday spending season, Amazon will feel the squeeze to offer the bitcoin community an opportunity to spend their currency at Amazon. I see it as a purely financial decision they will make at some point.

1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Most you've spent in cold hard cash on bitcoin or other altcoin? on: April 28, 2014, 12:01:29 AM

Most I ever spent in a single day was $900. I purchase often, though never for very much total money.
I tend to invest when I have some extra money in my bank account after all my expenses and investments for the month have been paid.

When it comes to crypto, I only put in what I can afford to lose should the whole thing tank. I do not believe it ever would, but I do understank the risk is possible.
1455  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-24] Butterfly Labs loses wings in court over more Bitcoin fraud on: April 27, 2014, 11:04:32 PM

It'll be nice to make them answer for their actions in a public forum.
Lack of ethics is a massive problem in business.
Should their actions be found to have crossed a legal line, the punitive verdict may put Butterfly out of business. Hopefully, not before they return the money to those they allegedly defrauded.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about bitcoin which features would you like to be implemented? on: April 27, 2014, 11:00:18 PM

I like franky's idea. I wouldn't want any fundamental changes to bitcoin. Just make it so that miners push transactions through at an equal pace.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy now offering shares in mining contracts. MN1. Question on: April 27, 2014, 09:00:31 PM

Y'all are going to be shocked once it's confirmed that Al Gore created the bitcoin.

...and Global Warming will destroy all alt coins.   Shocked
Hurry, we need an alt coin to save the Polar Bears?
(Note: "Global warming" might be a costly hoax)

Shit! My joke is going to create another shitcoin...Sad
Look out, later this week we should see the PolarBearCoin (PBC) and AlGoreCoin (AGC) being introduced.

1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Thinking of adding USD!? on: April 27, 2014, 07:21:51 PM
They will eventually.

When they do it will really.hurt Bitcoin

I'm not sure if it will hurt Bitcoin or not. But, it will definitely add value to some altcoins.
The biggest challenge for new people wanting to invest is finding a way to buy these coins. It seems like common sense to those of us that have been in the crypto world for any length of time, but not so much for new peoples.
Adding the ability to deposit USD and EASILY purchase some altcoins could be a game changer...in my humble opinion.
