I am waiting for gas stations to accept BTC.

That would be a windfall.
1302  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: May 03, 2014, 04:39:06 AM

1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 03, 2014, 04:38:15 AM
has the next block halving commenced yet?

So there will be a price increasing ?

There is less selling pressure from multipools, and the amount of buyers seems to stay constant, so I'm quite confident that we'll see a price increase.
Really, at this level, Carrot Top could buy all the dogecoins. The market cap seems to be quite low considering all the recent hype around the dogecar and the 500 new users per day on Dogecoin's subreddit.

It was a bit odd, but I thought you might have limited access for a really short time.
Have fun  Smiley

Thanks Smiley

Who's Carrot Top?

Some ridiculous comedian who's worth more than all the dogecoins Cheesy

You mean 'was' worth more in the 90's.
Unfortunately, carrot top spent his fortune on steroids and all-in-one workout machines.
It's a sad fate that has befallen him.
1304  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: May 03, 2014, 04:36:15 AM
when was spielberg's last smash hit? i don't remember him doing anything of note in, say, the past 10 years.

Now various movies just pay him to put his name as co-director or co-producer.
His name alone brings in a lot of money for the movies.
I'm not sure how much work he actually does these days.
1305  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Papa Johns or Pizza Hut eGift card for .03 bitcoins. on: May 03, 2014, 01:54:42 AM
I have traded over 10 bitcoins through pm with bitcointalk.

I'm sure the mods will say they can't read pm's. But whomever can read pm's could verify.

Nobody has any issues with the offer.
I think it's a fair price.
1306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer and blackmailer - loljosh (Calling trusted members) on: May 03, 2014, 01:26:11 AM

You

You seriously think it is okay to have paid someone roughly $90 for probably over 50 hours of work and then ask the person for the money back?
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: May 03, 2014, 01:23:34 AM
send me some and i will advertise your Doge coin Wink

seriously guys round up a fund to pay me and i will hype your coin harder than you seen any scam coin hyped before  Grin

We don't need artificial hype, and our community is strong enough to take care of itself Smiley

Agreed.
Doge has done more to attract new people to crypto currency than any other coin outside of bitcoin itself.
1308  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Papa Johns or Pizza Hut eGift card for .03 bitcoins. on: May 03, 2014, 01:20:41 AM
I won a contest at a website that gives prizes away.

Mmm...pizza prizes.
Sounds like my kind of contests...
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should 100 Satoshis be called? on: May 03, 2014, 01:19:38 AM

I don't think 100 Satoshi's needs any other name.
It would just cause confusion, IMO.
1310  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Alpha Technolgy 90 m/hs Scrpt miner preorder on: May 03, 2014, 01:17:05 AM

How much did it cost?
1311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im a beginner. on: May 03, 2014, 01:12:57 AM
If you are new to Bitcoin, don't mine.
If you are new to trading, don't trade bitcoins.

Instead try to learn first by reading on the topics as much as possible, then by trying out with small amounts. You will make mistakes and learn from them.
I even suggest to mine bitcoin. Not for the profit, but to help on your understanding. It is also fun.

I think that my advice is just as good as yours. I didn't include a lot of explanation because I figure it would be ignored anyway. The few newbies that are interested in mining and trading in order to learn something should follow your advice. But most newbies want to mine and/or trade because they think they can make a lot of money, and those newbies should follow my advice.

Every trader has lost a lot on a trade at some point if they have been in it long enough.
Newbies should not go into trading unless they can stomach a tough loss.
1312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 03, 2014, 01:09:22 AM
So what is the question?

Have you not been paying attention?

The post to which I responded was not a question and are not questions the core of this thread?

Should we find a suitable punishment?
1313  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer and blackmailer - loljosh (Calling trusted members) on: May 03, 2014, 01:05:45 AM

After reading all those PM's I think Loljosh deserved to be paid 100 times what he got for having to deal with all that.

Loljosh more than did what he agreed to...and it was a pretty damn cheap fee.

1315  Economy / Services / Re: Looking For Work on: May 03, 2014, 12:48:21 AM
Hi, my name's Jake. I'm 18 and live by myself. I am a hard worker, fast learner, and good problem solver. Anything thrown my way I can handle to the best of my abilities. I have been job hunting for the past 8 months and every application I've filled out has been online because nobody does paper apps anymore. It's all the same questions (Past job experience, level of education, etc) and no chance to show my skills that I have. If you hire me for a job I promise you won't be let down. Every job or task I've had I've always been complimented on how fast and good the job I did was. I don't slack off, and I'm loyal and committed to whatever you want me to do. Please inbox me for more information or post on this thread. Thank you.

In which state do you live?
If you live in Missouri, I will set you up with a job in my insurance agency.

I'm currently living in Washington State.

Ahh, sorry. That would be quite a commute.

1317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: May 03, 2014, 12:41:18 AM
I heard that we spoke of global cooling in the 70's. Where the global cooling people similar to the warming deniers of today?
No.  The Coolers of then are, in many cases, the Warmers of today.

You know, gotta be trendy...

So, uhh, is the Earth getting warmer?
1318  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your dream job? on: May 03, 2014, 12:39:41 AM

1320  Economy / Goods / Re: Yo-Yo's for sale! High-end aluminum. on: May 03, 2014, 12:34:33 AM
prices please ! ?
Range from 50-150 depending upon yoyo.  So I guess I need to make a more detailed thread with each yoyo/description/name/pics/price, etc.  So much work!!!  Now that I'm looking at these, it's hard to let them go, but they're collecting dust.  I need to simplify my collection.  If someone wants to buy 35 of them, I have a glass display case.  I no longer have all the yoyo's in this pic, have sold some bought others.  I have 2 of these cases.  The glass slides out left to right or right to left depending on the case.

That's a nice collection.
I'm not sure how big you are into yoyo's. One of my closest friends was Ben B (before he passed), who wrote 'CLYW The Complete History of Peak'.
