You check the terms and conditions of a site, before signing up. That is kind of the expectation that you understand the rules of a site before using it.
The rules explicitly state that all bots must have "bot" in the name so that they Do not get paid for chatting. You make a bot that does not follow those rules, and illegitimately gain .5 BTC. I cant understand what the misunderstanding his here, you stole .5 BTC from Tradefortress by using a bot that was not allowed. You get paid for chatting on coinchat, not having a bot spam for you, and because of your bot, Tradefortress is out .5BTC hence the negative trust.
I'm really not understanding where the question of, why don't I get negative trust for stealing .5BTC from someone? If it was an honest mistake, you would have seen that it was against the rules, said oh sorry, and returned the ill gotten coins.
Edit* And after thinking it over, I don't really buy that you werent aware of the rules in the first place. Why would you have named your bot b0t rather than bot had you not known that names with bot don't get paid?
Salty sums this up well, I agree with him. OP looks to be completely in the wrong here, TF in the right.

Nope, looking for a script to take input (line of text from a file) and convert that to a private key/address as an output.
Like, say, creating a key/address as 2FA for a users file? Something like that

I'm in need of a fairly simple PHP script, shouldn't be more than an hours worth of work I would think. I'll pay 0.25 BTC for what I need.
I need a function that takes an input as a string and outputs a private key and bitcoin address.

Something to allow for a warning or neutral type feedback would be great. It'd definitely be something that I would use a lot.

Anyone can leave feedback for everyone on the trust system... that's my understand of the rules for it.

Bitcoin average w/o MtGox seems to be broken, stuck at 'Contacting ticker...'
EDIT: Of course it starts working right after I posted this...

State governments accepting Bitcoin? This is a very vague question.

3. Every posts edited there should be a note stating that the posts has been edited with time and date.
This already happens, and it tell you who edited the post. The only exception that I know of is if the OP edits the post within 5 minutes of it going up, it won't show an edit in that situation.

1 - The forum doesn't need more money, it's sitting on >6000 BTC 2 - There would be new ranks, VIP and Donator stated the prices were set in BTC when they were created

I've been lurking around the bitcoin scene for some time already and feel you completely that we need something better than this forum. I decided to build a Discourse installation with some servers and try to make it the home for more serious bitcoin talk. Developer help is more than welcome and I suggest you come to http://dbtng.com, register and make yourself heard at the General forum. I think that Discourse is and WILL be the best possible option for the second generation bitcointalk. It is currently still under heavy development but is stable and secure already. We will need more features and bitcoin-features for Dbtng for sure. We will set up a Github for plugin development as soon as we have the time. If you feel like participating, register on Dbtng. Citing your competitor in your logo is not exactly the best way to promote your service LOL Yea that image makes the site sound super desperate.

An explanation of why it was a bad report would be nice. Personally I've PMed people when I click the 'Bad Report' button, but I guess not everyone does.

Comments was one of the first places I checked, and was surprised to see no mention of Bitcoin. I never thought to check their whole site for articles about Bitcoin. I think that 2011 article is the reason I got into Bitcoin.

Bumps should be deleted for one of two reasons:
1 - There has been a new post since the bump, no reason to keep a useless post around 2 - Bumping too much, threads should only be bumped once per 24 hours

Password and email changed on the account, it shouldn't be used anymore

Fixing compromised accounts is pretty much my lowest priority. It's very time-consuming to do the necessary identity verification, and it's not time-sensitive once the account is banned.
might be time to get a couple more admins for the less important stuff XD Wouldn't it be more prudent to get more mods for the more important things? Management fail. Mods cannot do a thing about a compromised account.
