Dev, ARE u hiring someone. Marketing and Code Dev ? Pleas use community.., what are u doing to make situation better for HOlder and Belieever in u!

ty !  Smiley

We are hiring professionals to do spotlight marketing and development initiatives around Syscoin services and development examples on top of the Syscoin APIs. The marketplace will be our first big marketing push in that regard. We have already communicated this, and we will communicate it again in more concrete fashion later tonight in the aforementioned roadmap update post.

So another 3 posts deleted, no FUD but serious qestions. Where did You actually proved that promised SYS features works? You pissed me off badly so I WILL post this qestion with counter of deleted post everytime I get notice from BCT. I am no NB FUDer, but sr member with 1Y+ and 500+ posts history.

If you want proof of the features why don't you just download the wallet? What proof do you want other than the fact that you can actually use them if you want to?
I did, there are no special features promised during IPO, just plain copy paste qtwallet. And if that features are hidden and accesible only via shell, its something against IPO promises.

Here is the thing, this is a moderated thread.. I could not care less if you have 500+ posts or are on BCT for one year.. When you can not be bothered to actually have a real look at Syscoin and the features that is already implemented and working  and are then going "bla bla bla" etc, then I don't consider anything you say constructive. And yes, some BCT rules do apply to moderated threads. If you have constructive and valid questions then sure we can talk.. If not just go away.

Where actually are theese "features"? Anyting You canīt do with any other copy paste crapcoin? I have to miss something..

Yep

So?

1. Read the code. 40% of it is entirely new for the new services. Explain how this is in any way a clone. Also please explain how you missed this in your ranting?
2. Read all the other posts where people are talking about actively using the features you claim don't exist.
3. In QT Wallet->Help->Debug Window->Console. Type "help". Note commands. Go to Litecoin or any other clone of it. Type "help" note lack of Syscoin service commands- no aliases, no data, no offers, no certs. The Syscoin features are all there in Syscoin.

This is not a clone, I have no idea where you're getting your very inaccurate/false information.

Hello I am unable to install the new wallet (1.4) on mac OSX 10.9.4

Error: SysCoin-Qt cannot be opened because of a problem.

Check with the developer to make sure SysCoin-Qt works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.

Anyone able to give a hand?

Thanks.

Definitely- you are trying to run 0.1.4c? Can you please PM me for further help? I'm running 0.1.4c on 10.9.4 without issue but maybe something with your local environment is different. PM and I'll help ya get this figured out.

Noticed several questions on roadmap in the coming weeks and the situation with Moolah. To be clear we do not have the 1500btc from the presale nor any SYS purchased with it as buy support (250btc worth at presale prices). We were given a portion of the fund to allow SYS operations to continue while we wait for Moolah to get back to us- at this stage we are looking for a response from them by the end of the week and are looking to issue a joint public statement at that point now that all promised features and services are fully delivered and functional.

We will have more detailed information regarding the roadmap over the next weeks/months later tonight. We have a team call regarding this tonight, we've posted it previously in the old thread, and we will update it and repost it here/OP once we speak as a team later tonight as a few small things have shifted since the last time we posted the roadmap plans.

Update 9/1:

Syscoin v0.1.4c has been released addressing the wallet open/close issue. This is a non-mandatory update.

This fixes an issue some may encounter when reopening the wallet regarding a chain database error. Github master has been updated as well. Always backup your wallet.dat before upgrading your wallet.

Links on OP updated to reflect new download. Website will be updated shortly.

Am I crazy, or is the github master still at 0.1.4b?
https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/blob/master/src/qt/forms/aboutdialog.ui#L38
Is there somewhere else in the code where the version number is 0.1.4c?

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like it just got updated.

You are right there was an issue with out github this morning we resolved ASAP. It is on the proper 0.1.4c release now and we've even published the release on github as we will also do moving forward.

We ran into some issues with github issues last night and are restoring those now!

Hi Dev,
I have not received the email for private key,
and i have been feedback in 14 days ago,
but virtually no progress, what can i do?

https://moopay.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/3599

Moolah is responsible for these tickets there isn't anything we/our team can do to address this. Maybe someone from their org can post help for you...

So whats you guys up to next week? Can you tell us what you planing? I am not asking for any ETAs, just plans. I dont know if you saw the IRC at that time, but Whale123 made some good points in IRC...

Right now we're focusing on this pesky 0.1.4c release which it looks like we'll release tonight and also getting the growing team into a single, unified project management system. Soon as I'm done with that stuff I can post more info on what we have planned.

Specifically this week we are trying to talk to Moolah, and also trying to get together a concentrated marketing effort/microsite on the "offers" aka the Syscoin Marketplace service including hiring developers if needed to create multiple examples on top of the API which we will open source as well as use ourself to sell Syscoin swag. We plan on doing this type of concentrated marketing on each of the various features now that things are stabilizing the network hashrate continues to grow thus providing a reliable foundation for businesses.

492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANDATORY UPDATE] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: August 29, 2014, 05:45:18 PM
We are working on getting a patch out for this today, we noticed it late last night and updated github but then realized this morning this issue was intermittent so we're working on a small update for later tonight. Its not a mandatory update at this point. We'll make it clear once the update is available.

Update- we have clearly identified the issue, its related to regen fees being reloaded properly when you reopen the wallet. Depending on the services used ins a particular block the offer regen fees aren't being reloaded from memory properly. Translation: We have identified the root cause and are working on a fix right now.

In the meantime the workaround from my last reply will keep ya goin til the update is ready  Smiley

Publishing this as pre-release:

My modded Sysmarket

Actual features:

  • View available Items of the Blockchain market
  • View available Aliases
  • View available certificate issuers
  • Add an Item to the market (You need to send sys to the wallet first as its empty)

Still not fully working, but hopefully on about the weekend:

  • Dividend calculation based on offers. Returns usable sendmany string to conduct the dividends

The github repo is: https://github.com/JohnDorien1/sysmarket

Ideas and contributions, aswell as buys of my offer (offeraccept dd9a408322642a36 5 && offerpay <result ID> <Your Sys address>) are highly welcome!
Also tip danosphere as its based on his first work and he helped me a lot with some bugs that encountered!

GREAT WORK!! This is what I'm talking about- this has be very excited Smiley Looking forward to getting off work so i can really dig into it!

BTW- for those that are getting a "blockchain corrupt, rebuild?" message after closing and opening their wallet- this is an intermittent local wallet issue (doesn't impact network, doesn't negatively impact wallet, just an annoyance that should be fixed). Say "ok" to the prompt, the wallet may hang; close and reopen and it will resync and you'll be all set.

We are working on getting a patch out for this today, we noticed it late last night and updated github but then realized this morning this issue was intermittent so we're working on a small update for later tonight. Its not a mandatory update at this point. We'll make it clear once the update is available.

We are ready for Prime time!

Yes we are! One minor hiccup we are aware of (and added to OP for now) is a warning some may encounter when reopening the wallet regarding a chain database error. Closing and reopening the wallet will remedy the issue if you encounter it.

We've already released a fix to github. We'll release updated binaries within 24hrs. No version update for this small patch.

Least I know that it's the actual wallet file that is the culprit here, correct?

This is a new one and looks specific to an old and corrupted wallet.dat. Is it possible to pull the privkey and reimport? If you PM me I can help ya out.

Was the Marketplace removed from the new update?

It was removed in a revision to 0.1.3 that caused it to hang on load. The marketplace is still there and functional its just console-only for now as we improve that entire experience within the wallet.

Getting close to block 17000 - merged mining and increased rewards about to TURN ON.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANDATORY UPDATE] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: August 29, 2014, 01:23:28 AM

^^^ +1 the pool he is talking about is one that has worked closely with the team, and has helped us to resolve numerous issues- we fully support them! We're are block 16813 as of this post... 187 blocks to go!! I'll be on IRC very soon! For party starts at block 16940 in IRC! Grin
