I have seen some questions in this thread about: +Which coins has forked? +Which coins are ASIC resistant? +What algorithm are they currently on to properly set it up for mining? To answer all of these questions I have created another thread here: [CryptoNight] Forked coins, ASIC resistance and current algorithms and also updated the main post in this thread to include a link to it. Be sure to check it out

Thats how scams work, the ones that dont see 350 as a big loss if they are scammed are the ones the scammer depends on. It would be nieve to think bitmain wont enter this FPGA mining scene after the x3 debacle. They already use them for other things.
Yes, agreed. I wonder how many scams of 300 euros one can be part of until they realize they're throwing away money Now, I'm not saying this is a scam, I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt. Bitmain will definitely enter the FPGA scene if they haven't already in secret. But since FPGAs are more comparable to GPUs (when it comes to hash rates) and not as powerful as ASICs, this could be a turn for the better.

In support of my [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return thread I've decided to create a thread where I will list all of the CryptoNight coins that have forked, type of algorithm they're currently on and if they are ASIC resistant or not. I hope other people will find this helpful too as I know a lot of people in my CPU mining thread are interested in this. -------------------------------------------------------------- Coin Name | | ASIC resistant? | | Current Algorithm | MONERO | Yes | CN v7 | ITALO | Yes | CN v7 | STELLITE | Yes | CN v7 | ELECTRONERO | Yes | CN v7 | FONERO | Yes | CN v7 | GRAFT | Yes | CN v7 | ELYA | Yes | CN v7 | INTENSE | Yes | CN v7 | MONEROV | Yes | CN v7 | BBS | Yes | CN v7 | QRL | Yes | CN v7 | TRITON | Yes | CN-LITE | IRIDIUM | Yes | CN-LITE | LOKI | Yes | CN-Heavy | OMBRE | Yes | CN-Heavy | SOLACE | Yes | CN-Heavy | HAVEN | Yes | CN-Heavy | SARONITE | Yes | CN-Heavy | RYO | Yes | CN-Heavy | BLOC | Yes | CN-Heavy | NBR | Yes | CN-Heavy | ALLOY | Yes | ALLOY-CN | TUBE | Yes | CN-LITE-BITTUBE | MASARI | Yes | CN-v7-FAST | AEON | Yes | CN-v7-LITE | BLUR | Yes | CN-Adaptive | | | |
-------------------------------------------------------------- Feel free to bookmark this thread and propose new coins that should be added to the list.

Come on guys... give the OP the benefit of doubt until proven otherwise. If the original quoted pricing holds, what's $350 in the big scheme of things? I wasted more than that by dropping a GPU that no longer works... LOL!
When they do go on sale, I'd bet someone here is willing to gamble $350 on a few of them!
That's a bad plan but you're welcome to go forwards with it and you can also let us know how it worked out for you If things can be easily tweaked to avoid possible scams why take the risk? This isn't Vegas and the roulette table, it's science

I've added a new coin to the main post of this thread called ITALO coin.
ITA is doing well at this point, it is listed on some exchanges and it's currently worth $0.11/coin.
With a hash rate of about 150 h/s in CN-v7 you can get about 2.4 ITA/day.

This time the majority of people in the crypto were realizing the fact that ripple has no usefulness compared with another live platform. Ripple working on future blockchain infrastructure and i can't see any advantage by holding more and more ripple coin. Ripple dev is a joke because they are all only aiming to get more and more profit. They are supporting regulators for their own advantages.
It was like that from the beginning of the project. Banks or others weren't going to use the XRP coin per se but they would use the idea and the technologies the Ripple team would create and tailor it for their needs. I don't know what is the team working on these days but it's a shame it turned out to be like this.

Very good words and presentation but no one will trust in you. You need to prove that it is real, some people have already suggested how to do:
-Give 1 piece to a legendary respectable user that can do a good review of the product. -Escrow the payments.
But like other users said, it is too good to be true.
Yes, I agree anyone who will buy this without an escrow will be exposed to a certain degree of risk. Sorry OP. I wouldn't trust any Legendary or higher ranked members on this because anyone can be easily bought but certainly it's better than nothing.

Yes, you need have ETH on your account to pay for gas price
Thanks a lot for the reply. Will this be taken care of when you guys will have your own wallet & main net or is this something specific to ERC20 tokens and transfers will still require ETH to complete?

Spreadsheet for the 5th week has been added. Unfortunately, it was impossible to keep everyone from the first round given the new budget. On behalf of everyone at IOS, I'd like to thank you all for your help in bring awareness to our project.
Congratulations to those who were selected. The next round will begin Monday (May 21st) and run until the end of June. As before, each round will last for one week, with payment also sent out every week. Payment will be according to the USD values in the main post, with 90% in IOST and 10% in BTC. These values are the equivalent payment rates from when the campaign first started. The exchange rate for IOST and BTC will be determined on payment day as the average of current USD price for each along with the closing prices for the previous 2 days. The reason I am averaging prices is to avoid under/overpaying people in the case of any single day's price volatility. Hope that makes sense. Prices will be taken from Coinmarketcap.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for confirming the participants. So, this means the posts for the current week will be counted until Sunday midnight, right? I personally would have preferred a fixed coin amount not dollar equivalents as payment but this works fine too. Madz, I respect your decision. I may not be elected. But if I didn't say wrong, 5th week continued from 5 May to 11 May. Although some posts have been deleted in this interval, there are still 25 posts and i would like you to pay attention to it and count my posts. Thanks
I kept it on too for the following week and also did the posts required (in the hopes it will be extended starting with the next week) but since the campaign said it's going to be for 4 weeks only, you can't expect to be paid for it, right?

Thanks a lot for the detailed stats Merit Day & Time Are you looking when the perfect day to post so that your will got a higher chance of getting merit is? The figure below shows that most of the members give merit during Monday.
Interesting fact, I assume you're basing your stats on forum time so, it could be that Sunday US time is the best time for getting merit I see you posted on a Sunday too From this table it looks like the more of a higher ranked member you are, the least important merit becomes I would be curious how many merit transactions were created for high amounts of merit. Let's say over 20 merits/transaction. Could you provide something like this?

When moving IOST from MyEtherWallet do I need to specify a GAS limit since this coin isn't minable?
I've tried transferring it with the default gas limit provided by MEW but was unable to send coins since I don't have an ETH balance there (used to pay mining fees). Do I need to have ETH in my wallet to be able to transfer IOST?

That sounds good I would have expected BTC to be more used when purchasing things and least expect tax collection to start accepting BTC. If the government is starting to accept this kind of payment, maybe more people will start using it.

Unfortunately there are a lot of shit campaign managers on this forum that don't have a clue on what they're doing and don't care to invest time for quality to increase.
I would avoid such campaigns and go for campaigns that encourage quality.

Cryptocurrencies, it can be easy to forget the back half of that word. With thousands of different tokens and coins out there, it can be easy to forget that the aim of our whole revolution is to be able to actually use and spend our digital cash. These days, almost 10 years after Bitcoin's creation, this still isn't easy. But there is one project that is finally making it happen - Zeex. Zeex has hundreds of gift card suppliers, (including Amazon, Starbucks etc.), and the protocol allows you to instantly and anonymously buy and spend any gift card (with no fees). Finally, we can use and spend our cryptos. Zeex.me for more info
Gift cards are not currency either so, I'm not really sure what you're talking about.

If you're expecting it to "moon" even higher that it is right now, remember that it used to be $3 at some point and it has a circulating supply of about 40 billion coins. You need a lot of people to buy it to get the price higher than that

--Since it's using only 10W of power to run, have you though of powering it with a standard laptop charger? This is designed for two power wires: 12 and 5 volts. This allows you to use an old PSU for 200-300 watts for more a dozen devices.
Ok, thanks a lot for the reply. I was hoping we can reduce any noise or heat to a bear minimum.
