501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 12, 2015, 01:12:57 AM
ikeboy simply can not understand not only the general concepts of both fraud and embezzlement, then, when you add in the newfangled methods of fraud  and embezzlement that are possible using Crypto currency and anonymous wallets he is like a little girl wandering in a field picking daisies.

Problem is, are the current laws even equipped to prosecute this crypto fraud shit?  I must say i am impressed about how knowledgeable the SEC seems to be after reading their subpoena but can you imagine this shit going through the courts?  How do you explain to a jury the many blockchain transactions where the paycoins are hitting the exchanges?

Considering the average age of judges this kind of shit would fry their brains.

Where would one find a copy of this SEC subpoena?
502  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's more lucrative - mining or high rank signature campaign? on: March 11, 2015, 07:26:35 AM
If you have no money, join the Bit-X sig campaign. No limit to how many posts you make and payouts are weekly.

If you have money, you could try mining. The best money from mining comes from the lowest price of electricity.

There are no official limits via the campaign, but if the forum begins turning to garbage because of one person trying to make 25 BTC by mindless, constant posting- they will be suspended and make nothing...I've been around for a while, it is difficult to make 1-2 worthwhile posts in any given day.
Mining, even with low electricity costs becomes almost a certain loss unless the person is able to find themselves in the first batches of newest miners. Mines whatever possible for 2-3 weeks and SELLS the miner as fast as possible. If one cannot hit those spots, at this point in BTC time, they cannot make coin, most likely will have a negative ROI.

Best, easiest, fastest way to obtain 25 BTC...just BUY THEM and...that's it. Target hit.
503  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 10, 2015, 06:58:28 PM
Well to be honest I would sell Smiley
I am not a big fan of the volatility of bitcoin, and have suffered huge losses already. I would be happy to sell.

A lot of people were happy to sell at $10 when it plunged from $39 to $2 overnight.
This is a long term project. Valuations now are volatile, that is for sure, but once the mainstream acceptance is complete- that volatility should stabilize (for the most part). Right now, there is still that possibility that some big players can artificially move the market.
504  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: March 06, 2015, 12:08:39 PM
Just don't do it. I did invest in cloudmining and lost 1,5 btc.

I believe a gentleman admitted losing nearly three quarters of a million dollars to GAW's "cloud mining". Now, obviously, we know GAW was a scan from the outset, but at the time it was the same debate. Should one invest in cloud mining?
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: March 04, 2015, 08:59:47 PM
Dogecoin v Everything. Bitcoin wins.

bitcoin does not win everything. The only reason Bitcoin is on top is because it has been around since 2009 and so much news and people beginning to adopt it and use. In time their will be another coin that takes over BTC due to many factors from security services and features that BTC does not provide compared to a lot of alt coins. So far BTC has been good but theirs plenty of other alts out their that will soon over take BTC. One to keep an eye on is Burstcoin and also Doge. Doge is good but again has its moments the same as Burst does and I find that burst is way under priced and is gradually creping up the ladder on the market cap website.
How could Doge ever replace Bitcoin? Isn't it just a scrypt coin clone that been struggling so much it was added as a sidecoin to litecoin?

Might well be a clone however some clones work well but indeed it does struggle at times but it holds its value and does not dip down much maybe a few satoshi here and their but not as much as BTC spikes.
But how would it replace Bitcoin? I don't seen any of that being in relation to how it would top BTC.

Well for a coin to top BTC can happen. Look at all the other alt coins, some only been around for a few months and soon die out. Ones that have been around for maybe 6 to 8 months like ripple in 2nd place and it will soon pass BTC if it continue to grow like it has done. It only takes 1 alt coin with something different that people like compared with bitcoin to knock it out its place for it to lead. LTC I generally do not think it will pass BTC any time because of its services and publicity is compared to a lot of others. If LTC had as much publicity as BTC and was accepted as widely as BTC then it might get back into 2nd place but again I don't see that happening any time soon.

I could see LTC making a strong comeback if Andreas' prediction of Bitcoin being accepted into the mainstream within 2 years. There will need to be a necessary secondary major coin with a lower valuation for the small, everyday purchases (cup of coffee, for example). None of the other coins seem to hold a candle to LTC to take that secondary position. They key being, Bitcoin must be first be widely adopted and accepted in everyday society before a secondary coin can assume the position of being silver to Bitcoin's gold.

I know MrCoins is actually a very nice person, who is very devoted.

I would love to know what information that comment is based on.

Also this question has been asked a few times but I can't find the answer.  If those emails last night were released by a hacker, why were the google archives blocked so quickly?   Wouldn't the hacker want to keep them up for maximum damage?   Or did GAW complain directly to google to have them shut down?

Ideas in no particular order
- hacker/disgruntled GAW insider got cold feet after seeing the instantaneous shitshow this caused
- these groups were set up by GAW to facilitate the SEC response and they are so dumb they didn't realize everything was public
- deliberate leak by Josh because somewhere in his addled brain this will get him out of the SEC investigation/other criminal charges because he can say he got "hacked, LOL sorry kthxbi!"
-

Not that I wish criminal charges against anybody, but it sure would help push along my credit card dispute if they'd lock him up already.

509  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling- Veinte Centavos (20 cent) 1920 Cuban coin on: March 04, 2015, 09:28:52 AM

"Price is $5 firm, includes shipping costs."    5$ including shipping costs?

BTW, you should post a pic with your username and the coin to prove ownership.

Yes, $5 for the coin includes the $.91 in shipping that I will pay for. So, my net would be $4.09 in BTC.
If you are interested and the make or break is having a picture of my username written on a post-it on the coin, I would probably be annoyed, but still do it (in the afternoon Wed, because I'm going to bed now).

TTY all later.
510  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling- Veinte Centavos (20 cent) 1920 Cuban coin on: March 04, 2015, 08:22:43 AM
I'd sell it for at least melt value... $14.60 is 90% of spot. And price converter: http://btc-priceimg.herokuapp.com/

It's a 20 cent piece, melt would probably be in the $2.50-$2.75 range. Pre-revolution Cuban coins are not so easy to come by on a regular basis. I'm certainly not selling at spot or as junk silver.
511  Economy / Goods / Selling- Veinte Centavos (20 cent) 1920 Cuban coin on: March 04, 2015, 08:10:42 AM

Pre-revolution, 90% silver, RePublica De Cuba Veinte Centavos piece.

Tried listing on eBay, but was not allowed up due to eBay TOS against the listing of any type of Cuban products.

See pictures, very nice for its age and origin.

Price is $5 firm, includes shipping costs.

513  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] 5 Troy OZ 999 Silver Bar on: March 04, 2015, 12:17:26 AM
Is there major risk of tarnishing the bar when 'home' testing? Are the rates reasonable to have a professional do it?

Unique way to home test without damaging .999 silver:
Hard boil an egg. Once finished, while egg is still hot, mush it up and put on a plate. Place silver near egg and wrap up with saran wrap, so mostly air tight. (Could also use Tupperware or anything that keeps air from escaping whatever you are using.) The sulfur gases released from the egg will turn the .999 silver coloring into a beautiful rainbow.

To return back into shiny silver color again. Wash with a little soap in warm water, dip in acetone for 3-5 seconds. Rinse off with water....and .999 silver back to original condition, undamaged.

EDIT: If you have children, it's a fun science experiment to do with them.

Can you eat the egg after?

I don't see why not...though, I have only tried this once (after seeing on Youtube) and I did not eat the egg.

the mass murdering demon pretends he doesn't want war with iran but this is exactly what he wants, only he wants americans to fight it for him and the good goyim politicians bow and scrape to him as usual, sickening to watch representatives from the supposed most powerful country in the world degrade themselves in such a way

Lol, I'd love to see you on open mic night.  Wink
516  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Something from ebay on: March 03, 2015, 05:32:40 PM
