501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin journey has started again on: January 03, 2024, 01:06:56 PM
Since it is 3 months already, I want OP to give some updates regarding his investment situation because I don't want to assume that he is now in a huge profit. But the question is if he still holding till now or if he might sell them when the price of Bitcoin reaches $40k last month. Because it was not new to us here and we've been hearing the same stories and sadly, some of them just quit after a few days after investing as they can't bear to see their portfolio dump as the market crisis arises.

We can say it is a good idea for someone to start to invest Bitcoin but the question is how it ends --profiting or losing?
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 03, 2024, 12:28:44 PM
The amount of money one can spend in gambling doesn't depend on the medium they are using to gamble, but it depends on one's self-control and how responsible they are with their gambling activities. A person gambling online might as well spend a small amount if they are well-disciplined, and a person gambling in a physical or offline casino might spend everything they have if they are not a responsible gambler and it is possible as you can easily get cash from either within the casino or from the nearest cash station or ATM.
Being a responsible gambler, it is all just the same, they stick to the limit and can manage their money wisely.
Getting into addiction depends on our gambling approach and behavior. Most of us have fallen into such things because we don't understand how gambling works in real which is far from what these influencers have been saying.

Quote
So, it's never about the medium being used. You can always limit the amount you are going to spend on your gambling activities if you aren't addicted to gambling and realize your limits that you need to follow. However, if it's the other way around, no medium can reduce the risk of you losing everything.
That could be true and it all lies on our hands. But as I see, most gamblers have fallen addicted to online games because it is very accessible anywhere.
You can gamble anytime as you have it already on your phone.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seems it's alt season... Any suggestions..? on: January 03, 2024, 08:45:09 AM
The bull might be around the corner at any moment from now so we have to get ready and prepare investing in any altcoins we are sure is going to be liquidity enough to give us some profits in the market. One thing I have noticed about the Crypto market is to always invest in multiple projects rather than just choosing a single project to invest in. If we eventually make the right decision, we can be rest assured that we are going to be profitable in the market as time goes on.
Choosing 1 coin is not a good idea but buying multiple shitcoins, is also a big mistake.
Might the number matter but what matters the most is the coins we choose. I'd rather choose ETH or BNB than choose 5 meme coins. Indeed, we need to choose the right ones, the projects with high profitability, and must avoid hyped projects. Although we can't guarantee 100% profit assurance, at least our chances are bigger than investing in worthless projects. That is why it needs to have deep research and invest in good timing.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 02, 2024, 10:15:07 PM
Gambling has been widespread and most of us are aware of the situation, and seeing someone on the phone doing this is not unusual.
They don't need advice anymore, they are old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. I'd rather advise any of my family members who are involved in gambling than give it to strangers. Besides, some people do online gambling as their pastime, so it is not a big deal as they are enjoying their time at least not doing this during office hours. But if I saw children doing this, that certainly would catch my attention.

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have we overlooked the many potentials of altcoins? on: January 02, 2024, 09:36:54 PM
That is the case for now, as the fees increase in BTC and ETH, we then appreciate the use of some altcoins like TRX, XRP, etc as an alternative.
Not to blame the situation but at least the surge in fees helps these coins to get noticed and contribute something to the community. Well, maybe some had just known these altcoins this time but I was using them already for a long time.

We could say that not all altcoins are useless, some of them are very useful in the crypto space but we just ignore them.
Well, the current situation had proven it then.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I see many users talk about trading but does anyone here actually trading? on: January 02, 2024, 01:43:46 PM
Just to know OP that many members here had left trading due to the unbearable market condition and failed their goal but their experience remains on their minds. They are probably afraid to share their stories because they feel like a loser in this field.
In fact, until now I can still remember my first trade, not to mention how much I earn but it is just a small amount as my capital is also small (minimum).
Based on my experience, I could say that there is a good and bad time in trading as the market condition will really affect it. That is why I do trade during the bull season as the prices are moving high and become a holder during the bear season due to dropping prices. We need to practically go along with the market conditions to avoid big losses.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: January 02, 2024, 12:44:11 PM
Can be both - enjoyed and depressing.
Enjoy - a normal reaction when I win but Depressed when the moment I lose. But it never meant that I was in regret, I'd still make fun of doing this even if I lost my money. I am already aware of the possibilities that happen to me when gambling and it is helpless if I have to get mad. We'd rather not go into gambling instead if our mind is focusing on winning but not accepting losses.

If we are a fan of gambling, then make sure that we enjoy what we are doing instead of getting angry.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 02, 2024, 05:43:26 AM

How about you as a Lotto bettor do you buy more tickets when the prize skyrocketed and how many more tickets are you adding

A lottery is a pure luck-based game and the chances of winning are very slim. Buying more tickets may somehow increase the chance but just a very small increase which you can't feel, at the end of the day, luck is what you need in order to win.

I haven't tried buying 5 tickets in a single draw as I'd stick to 1-2 tickets and I've been doing this for quite some time unfortunately, I was still unlucky. But might I try this to see what is the results? Doing this for a month is enough if see no difference from the usual thing I did, I quit.

1/55 vs 5/55 chances--I'm not sure if makes sense...

509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The general public still doesn't understand Bitcoin is still growing on: January 01, 2024, 06:38:21 PM
Well, I can't blame some people who have a negative view of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin because of some misinformation. We have seen and read a lot of articles on the internet and many of them have contradictions of views, it was very confusing to which article and author to believe. Some authors are focusing on the negative side of crypto and some are also on the positive side. It has a huge influence on the reader especially if they are new in the market, they will believe in the wrong information.

To evaluate the case, I encourage people to do it in actuality just to know better about crypto or Bitcoin. Market exposure is the best way to learn rather than reading books, reading articles, or watching videos.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: December 31, 2023, 09:47:44 AM
If you rely on luck when trading, then it is not far from doing it like gambling.
If we don't want this to happen, then must acquire more knowledge about trading whether it is spot or future trading because this is the only way we make a profit.

 - do trade when ready
 - do trade with knowledge and motivation, not just because we saw one of our friends succeeded

Nothing is impossible in trading if we want to improve but never force ourselves if we feel we can't. Not all are meant for trading, please consider it rather than doing this like gambling.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 31, 2023, 04:42:49 AM
Only share your winnings with the person that you think gives you support as these are people who will appreciate your winnings. In fact, there is no reason to tell everyone because they don't like hearing it (this is very usual in our place) instead, they are happy to hear your losses. Many people make assumptions or rumors when something good things happens to us so have to avoid it. Let them speculate...that's it.

We'd rather keep a distance from other people and keep it private. Maybe a small celebration within the family is enough.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where TO Find Quality Air Drops on: December 29, 2023, 02:52:45 PM
Can I know where I can find quality airdrops? I started doing airdrops but No idea whether they are scams or not. And also I have a question regarding tweeter tasks of the airdrops, they say to like their twitter page and retweet. but There are two options when it comes to retweet, "Repost" and ''Quote"
what should I do? retweet or quote? please answer
I hope you will open your mind and stop thinking about quality airdrops because none of them are to be found, they are all scams. They have promised you something as a reward for some crazy task but guess what, it is all just a lie. Don't make it a reason to continue, you can somehow get real money by buying valuable coins rather than relying on airdrops. Don't get fooled by these social media platforms, scams are everywhere so must be careful when dealing with these people. Aside from that, you are wasting your precious time doing those things/tasks, you never get any from them. Or it is just shitcoins.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Accomplished What Brought You to Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2023, 02:06:32 PM
I couldn't say more but getting into Bitcoin helps me a lot in terms of financial stability --such a great achievement is hard to get if I was only relying on my day job. And with the help of my Bitcoin income, I have a business already and letting go of my stable job.

Many people are saying Bitcoin is useless and a big scam but we have proven it wrong. Is their problem not believing us, only they can see that we are improving while these people are working hard but still no achievements. It is the interest that brought me here and I tried even with limited funds and knowledge but all of it can be learned somehow and all the efforts have been rewarded.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 29, 2023, 12:56:11 PM

Gambling provides great temptation to all gamblers, and only wise gamblers can avoid this temptation and gamble comfortably because they don't think too much about winning. They can make decisions to avoid gambling when they don't feel like gambling.

Agree with you, that the temptation to gamble is very big and only a few people are able to resist the temptation. As you said, one of them is a wise gambler, they can play wisely by limiting their money and when to play, especially if they really understand the risks in gambling so that a wise gambler is not so much after winning as it is for entertainment.
Therefore, wise gamblers play naturally and they know that winning is very difficult to achieve, so when they feel bored, it is time for them to stop for a moment and think about something else that is useful for them.
Perhaps, they are called wise gamblers because they know what is good for them. They don't just know how to control themselves but also, they know how to remain responsible despite the losses they get.

If we all had that kind of mindset, we would never hear people doing stupid things like suicide and huge debts, it all went so well. But too unfortunate that we all have different gambling approaches, and most of us lose our temper and self-control. That is why many gamblers have been in the struggle to control their emotions and have fallen into addiction.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: December 29, 2023, 12:09:02 PM
OP gambling is luck, the people that will argue that an individual can be a millionaire in sports bets are those people that does not understand how gambling works, when your luck shine in any bet, be it sports bet or other types of bet, don't give credence to yourself alone, just understand that it was meant to happen, many people has applied different strategy and skills in gambling but it didn't work, and the have been unable to win, I have a friend that was into virtual game, he told me that I should be trying virtual in the night because that's when he play and he use to win, I tried this with the selection he told me but it was only once that I won with that, have we seen that this is strictly luck.
Sports betting is not 100% relying on luck as we can choose the sport and team we want to bet on where the chances are higher compared to card games, lotteries, and slots. But I could still believe that someone become a millionaire solely just by betting. Maybe if you are betting thousands of dollars on every bet, that can be possible but just like the normal thing we do, that seems far from reality.

I don't suggest also putting a lot of money into that sake and winning millions unless you are a rich person and don't care about losing it.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 29, 2023, 10:18:41 AM
In my opinion, I think that there will be any public that they will enjoy there loss. Yes it is true that gambling should be always for fun. But it's true that we can take our lose as fun or enjoy it. I think we have to go in with the mind set before gambling that there are chances to win as well as chances to lose.
It's true that not everyone gambles to be able to win, some people gamble just to fill their free time and don't worry about winning or losing and when they experience defeat it won't have any impact on them. Of course we won't know what we will get in the game we play. Whether it is about winning or losing, it is very important for us to gamble in a good mental condition so that we are not greedy in the gambling we play.
There is no fun when your goal in gambling is to win but even if you're not, still you will feel a little bit disappointed. That is why we don't assume that we win because this will have a mental effect especially if we lose. We'd rather put this on our mind I'm doing this for fun so we never feel mad when losing.

It should be clear to us that gambling needs luck. If we don't have the chance to win, then we don't have a reason also to blame anyone instead, accept the fact that this is really all about.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers, When Will You Sell? on: December 29, 2023, 08:33:10 AM
I really admire people capable of keeping bitcoins in their wallets for years without even moving them. I see wallets that their owners never moved coins from for 10 years and wonder how they do it. If you're a HODLer. when do you hope to sell? Would you cash out if Bitcoin soars to $100,000 or sit back and wait until it gets to a million?

ONLY for HODLers please. PLease share when you'll be happy to sell.
Holding doesn't mean it gonna be forever. The reason why people are holding is to make money when it hits their target price. Let us assume if the price reaches $100,000 I certainly have no doubts about selling my Bitcoin. That was a satisfying price for me. If ever it reaches more, I have no regrets as well because I already make a profit which is important to me unless we know that it reaches $ 1 million probably I would wait. But because the market doesn't work like that so I'd rather take the chance selling at $100k rather than missing it. It was even regrettable to happen.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it give fuel to skyroket for btc ? on: December 28, 2023, 09:59:35 PM
Maybe YES or maybe NO...No assurance for this news and it was hard to rely upon something but of course, we could think could somehow give some influence to the buying people. However, as the halving is on its way closer, pumps will happen anytime and we can make this a reason for a skyrocket in the sense that halving itself has a huge impact on the market price since before.

We may consider this as a contributor to the pump but too hard to point out that would be the main reason. Because at this point, I see nothing could help the skyrocket other than halving.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 28, 2023, 09:30:16 PM
I'm gambling online casinos and I only spend 2-3 hours...that is pretty enough to enjoy playing. Sometimes it was even just an hour, especially when I was busy because I gambled when I had free time only. Well, I'd also realize that it was good as this will help me not to fall into addiction because spending long time gambling is one reason why such a thing happens. It was not just to avoid addiction but also to avoid overspending which mostly happens to most gamblers. It is really on our gambling habits and time control, we can do this if we want.
520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your feelings if Bitcoin price takes your expectations unaware on: December 28, 2023, 02:39:17 PM
Only not a human being couldn't feel regret for not selling it. In fact, last 2017 when the price of Bitcoin reached $20k, only a few were selling thinking that it would continue to pump but just a few hours after hitting its peak, the drop came drastically and many people blamed themselves for missing it. This is normal to us because we never know what will happen next and sometimes we have been influenced by our optimism and the people around us. And a reason why we have to control our greediness and learn to be contented.
