Those people that are like what OP described are the ones where we can pick a lot of lessons. Not everyone is going to be broke in gambling if they have discipline.

But going onto that point which isn't really new at all becomes a trend when emotions are too high. Don't let your emotions control you because no one is going to help you at these trying times.

When you're the one who chose that situation for you. So, survive it on your own and learn big from it.

Its not really something you would really be needing to mess up your life with before you would really be able to make yourself that learn those things on which we can be able to picture out into those
people who do have able to experience the worst on gambling on which people would really be that trying to see and reflect for themselves on what are the things that they should gonna do so that they wont really be messing up their lifes with on the time that they would really be dealing up with gambling. Gambling isnt bad if you are really just that responsible. It do really just turns out that there are people who dont really care that much when it comes to possible outcomes or things that would happen to them as long they could really be able to play gambling then this what matter the most.
REgrets and learnings do really happen in the end of the line and not from the start.
They will reflect on it later on and will see their own fault. These gamblers that have a shoulder to lean on will keep on messing with their lives.

But when they realize that there's no one going to help them and they are on their own, that's when their situation gets more serious.

They'll be obliged to do it on their own and solve their own mistake by not asking anyone to be there for them.

503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: User experience Trends in Online Gambling: What's Next? on: March 27, 2024, 07:59:26 PM
What if there will be newly launched casino as if you're a character and you're inside the game like it's 3D and you'd go from place to place on that virtual city that's full of virtual casinos.

I think that's interesting and that's where it is going. It's more of a design and new experience and anything that's new to most of us will be patronized by many gamblers.

It's also related to innovation so I guess that's going to be one of the next trends that it won't be looking a traditional setup online.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 27, 2024, 07:27:33 PM
Sharing your private info doesn't keep your money safe if the service fails for any reason, you will lose your money, and your sensitive info will probably be sold on the dark web.
That's true.

Complying to KYC doesn't mean that they're securing our money but we're just compliant to them and they're also asked by the regulators to do it.

There are also those staff that are taking advantage of their position especially those that have access to their database. Try to test out a new email and register it to any casino, if the data is leak then you'd receive tons of spam emails.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the pros and cons of gold compared to bitcoin? on: March 27, 2024, 06:56:58 PM
Pros for gold -> bank reserves are backed by currencies that have a reserve of gold too.
Cons for gold -> it is not moving a lot based on its charts, NVIDIA did better than it.

Pros of bitcoin -> Volatility and scarcity
Cons of bitcoin -> sometimes transaction fees are high when the network is clogged
506  Other / Off-topic / Re: Becoming productive without spending too much money. on: March 27, 2024, 06:29:19 PM
That's right, it is a very precious resource that everyone has. Rich and poor have the same 24 hours and there is the difference on how we're spending it.

The rich people are leveraging their money so that they use other people's time. While us, employees, we sell our time for service and they pay us with money.

Them, they pay money so they can buy our time. Being productive depends on what kind of person you are but we all want to make use of our time worthwhile.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 26, 2024, 11:54:01 PM
I think children should be given formal education through which they can easily understand good and bad.  Education will free people from blindness and will surely make a smart life warrior.  Besides formal education they must be taught morals and religious knowledge.
And that's why teaching them about wealth and investments are desirable. They will see the reality of it that many of the rich people have obtained their wealth through investing.

Once this sinks in to the mind of the child, they'll understand that it should be their focus as they grow older and that will help them reach their goals through investing.

But definitely, there should be a start of it and it should lightly taught to them and not get into the whole point as they need to learn slowly.
508  Other / Off-topic / Re: Preparations as being key to personal growth and development on: March 26, 2024, 11:19:50 PM
Preparation is key and central to what ever you are set to do
Together with experience.

If it's personal growth and development, you can't really prepare for the things that are unforeseen. Because no matter how prepared you are if the preparation is different from the actual situation, you can't do nothing from it.

That's why, the top notch of it is still experience that will tell you what to do with certain things that you tackle with.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Hardship as a global problem on: March 26, 2024, 10:47:28 PM
It's been there since the old times and we're going to bring it as long as we live.

And that's why people are finding their ways to avoid these hardships through mindsets and how they deal with the stress that these hardships are providing to each everyone of us.

Life today is all about how you'd make your story the happiest and you don't care about the others but only focuses on how you and your family (if you are family oriented) will live it.
510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what would I do, if I paid for coin and the seller refused to release it. on: March 26, 2024, 10:11:33 PM
Then you're scammed if the coin isn't released. But on which platform did you traded?

Taking 3 hours for the seller to release the coin after paying him is really alarming and tensioning. But since you've received the coin and it's been released, you have no problem at all.

You have to find a seller that has a good trading history or has 100% feedback depending on the platform that you are with.
511  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of Crypto scams, everyone must need to know on: March 26, 2024, 09:28:46 PM
The scam typically begins with a phone call, as someone claiming to be from a government agency or law enforcement department. They may inform you of alleged fraudulent activities or criminal behavior associated with one of your accounts. To further convince you of the urgency of the situation, they create a sense of imminent danger and pressure you to act quickly.
If you are not doing something wrong then there is nothing for you to be afraid of. But these calls are exhausting when you're on that call and they try to explain their scheme.

As long as you can remember that you have done nothing. First things first with these government matters is that they're going to send you a letter or someone will step on your doors knocking informing you this kind of matters.

It's not limited to government calls that are being done by these scammers but even something simple that they'll try to scare you out so that you'll pay their scam. Don't be too scared with them and always have a presence of mind.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 26, 2024, 08:55:12 PM
Whether you're aware that you're not yet] addicted. IMO, it's important to have yourself always on check.

You don't know if you're still in shape and you can really control yourself or not anymore and you're just trying to prove it based on your thought but without looking at some evidence.

There are gamblers that are in denial and trying to skip that part because they know what they are up to when they check themselves.
513  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why can't we live in peace? on: March 26, 2024, 08:17:38 PM
What makes a person thirst for war? Is it control, power, or is this his nature?
All of those are correct and add many from it, greed, belief, territories expansion, and many more.

Honestly, just by looking at many posts in the internet. I don't understand why many are glorifying these wars as if they're prepared to die while sitting on their homes comfortably startling and triggering other people that soon there will be more wars.

I know and I understand that we have no control over these matters. But it's about the differences of these world leaders and why they can't just talk over it peacefully? I guess that's how the world works when most leaders have their own prides, reasoning and logical thinking about international affairs. Them being winners if they win this war but we are the mostly affected here, emotionally, psychologically and those that are in the ground, losing their loved ones.

While the rich are making their bunkers, they know what might happen soon.  Undecided
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: March 26, 2024, 07:25:13 PM
It's the same as don't gamble when you're drunk.
There are some people who are the exceptions to this but this is true in almost all cases. I've seen some "seasoned" drunkards still do well with card games. They become more talkative and laughs a lot but they can still handle their game.
Those are like the drunken masters.  Cheesy

But true, that I know in real life that they can still do stuff even if they're drunk but don't do it still because they might have long experience in drinking.

And, it's not that recommended at all to gamble when you're drunk because you're about to lose your focus and correct thinking because of being confused due to alcohol.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Innovative methods or technologies" on: March 26, 2024, 06:54:00 PM
But yeah I agree POS is sucks, it's actually a protocol that will kill Bitcoin's purpose, Bitcoin will never ever adopt POS.
POS will never be a good option for Bitcoin. Having it with a limited supply is already enough for its value and as for it becoming a POS then it's just going to give more vulnerability as it's will lessen the security of it so, more flaws to come.

I don't think the developers will find a solution to combat against high fees because with the high adoption and we want a secure network, high fees is inevitable.
Exactly.

Every time that there will be a proposal and after its implementation, another problem will occur and this is like an attached problem that we'll never see go because of the high demand.
516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick way to learn bitcoin trading on: March 26, 2024, 06:12:47 PM
To bad for this people they want to rush everything about their bitcoin investment that's why usually they fall on scams since they meet those fake guru that invites them on their scam programs and fall for it as a victim.

If they really want to learn about bitcoin then they must consider to search for lots of information about this and they are ready to read a lot of articles then watch some valuables videos comes from different sources then for sure they can learn by doing that in process. They need to know that there's no easy way on everything and if someone promise them like that then most likely those guy have bad intention to them and they will just trying to lure them on a scam.
Yeah, most of the ones who are rushing are the ones that becomes a victim of fake and scam investments in crypto.

They think that those are going to teach them but I guess and sure it does teaches them but on how to protect themselves to scams once or after they've become a victim of it.

Whatever we learn certainly requires a process so that we can understand it well, even for those who already have a background in trading in different markets, of course they need a process to be able to find out the strategies they will use in trading to be able to generate profits and for an individual. For those who are new to trading, of course they have to learn slowly to really understand it well so that they can trade correctly and not experience a lot of losses on the first try they make.
They have to choose the slow process but if they're a genius and from being a total newbie into being an experienced expert, that's good for them.

Because there are people that has natural born talent into quick adapting and learning.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick way to learn bitcoin trading on: March 26, 2024, 10:44:43 AM
Learning even outside crypto takes time. Please don't think that someone can learn trading quickly without the background of trading in other markets.

Those people that have traded before and has been in some other markets can be said to be quick learners because they have the idea on how the market works and have learned strategies on how they can profit from it.

But if a total beginner and came from nothing, it's best to learn it through slow walkthrough.
518  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Dictionary - Your opinion on: March 26, 2024, 09:57:26 AM
I've seen the same websites about having these information in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Your website is good but I think you can lessen the pages by moving from center to left and right part of the pages.

But the good part of it being in the center is that there's the short description that visitors can read. With what I've seen, most of them have just brief description and that's why they can fill left and right space of the website.
519  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learn to leave a dept/loan free life. on: March 25, 2024, 11:55:48 PM
What is your loan experience? Or what have you experienced?
Terrible, we've got terms on exact date when I will pay it. But it wasn't even follow and the loaner did asked me the money too early where I've promised to pay it on a specific date. That's why I've stopped asking for any loan.

And how were you able to handle it to get back on your feet?
Yes, it wasn't that much but it was an experience that I don't want to happen again because it seems that I should be pitied because of that.

This is in real life and long time before even crypto existed.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFTs just marketing gimmicks with no added value? on: March 25, 2024, 11:26:19 PM
I struggled with the proper placement of this topic. This is clearly a Bitcoin-related (blockchain-related) topic, and I think belongs on Bitcointalk.org, generally speaking.
You're right about this but this is a section for mostly Bitcoin discussions and not NFT/altcoin blockchain discussions.

There's the right section for this, you can move it from here through "move topic" at the bottom of this page.

But there's no dedicated area of NFTs on this website, or something that would seem to cover that topic in a general way.
