I have 3 1080Ti and i am starting to debate is it still worth buying a 4th 1080ti and i am so tempted to take newegg/bestbuy 0% financing for 12 months to build another rig to mine... and have it pay off the bill directly in 1 year...
any advice on whether to keep buying 1080tis or wait for Vega to drop much appreciated... really hoping vega mining numbers will start coming out soon...

Just so I understand we have 3 batches so far or 4 batches so far?
september October 15-25 and than November 1-15 or am i missing any batches for D3?

Its funny how we are rushing to order our d3's and count our blessing when we do order, but we are all nervous ordering something 3 months out hoping network difficulty doesn't rise too much and price holds up for all of us.
There is always that nagging feeling back of our heads that a D3+ is coming soon and so is L4 (1 ghs) because its natural progression for things to improve/get faster/ better.
Bitmain as any tech company needs to come out with faster/greatest and best items... otherwise they will go the route of oblivion.

Yeah I picked up 8 a couple of hours ago, the link still works for the october batch. I also noticed that on that batch page, the number 999 came up, made me wonder if that's the total number of miners in this batch of D3's. That is a crazy speculation... but this morning when I managed to get one into my cart... I saw this number 13,500 next to the D3 !!! the nightmare scenario is that not even folk in China could get in...if they could get in...likely they would have just gone with being sold out and we could lump it...so if that is the case we are truly screwed on further products in demand....at the wrong end of the world Is it wrong that i am wishing for a massive crypto crash? so it goes back to how it used to be with nerds/coders/gamers etc... all the newbies goes back to there day job. |
