521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the legal status of Bitcoin in your country? on: August 18, 2021, 02:04:49 PM
Nothing really big has happened yet but the agencies that don't have stake on crypto and bitcoin are the one that's been meddling so it's a shitty thing although they haven't done anything drastic yet but given that they are meddling already makes me uneasy since there's a possibility that we might see some sort of bad policies.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: August 18, 2021, 01:21:49 PM
I think no, the ruling strata need controlled finances.
We don't know that for sure, maybe they will see the merit of using bitcoin as a reserve currency, maybe they see that it can help them increase their control, influence or wealth. We don't know how the real owners think so it's going to be hard for us to actually know what's going behind those corrupt and greedy minds.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin called “Bitcoin”? on: August 18, 2021, 12:50:31 PM
Had Satoshi named it differently, Bitcoin would probably still be enjoying the success it has today, provided it won't be given too nuisance a name as BoobCoin or BeiberCoin. Bitcoin got its success from its features.
I don't think it would enjoy the sam success if it were named differently, even if it's not annoying sounding name. Probably we can get by with it given that it only takes acclimation to the names since it delivers what it does anyway.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google starts accepting Bitcoin ads on: August 18, 2021, 12:16:24 PM
This is great news. Google started accepting bitcoin ads. As we know in 2018 google banned bitcoin ads because many projects were scam. Now that they are accepting it again, this makes investors even more confident in the future of bitcoin. More and more big companies are accepting bitcoins.
Not so great news because scams will be plaguing the ads that are connected/remotely connected to crypto so I am not a fan of this unless they make a really efficient report system that can help the ads be clean as possible so as to give way to legitimate crypto websites and as long as that doesn't happen, I won't be a fan of this stuff.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: August 17, 2021, 05:42:11 PM
The pandemic has disrupted lives across all countries and communities and negatively affected global economic growth in 2020 beyond anything experienced in nearly a century. While the pandemic caused several commodities and assets to lose their value, the cryptocurrency market, on the other hand, was found immune to coronavirus. From approximately $7000 in March 2020 to more than USD 54,000 to date, Bitcoin has boomed and astonished the whole world. The green signal that cryptocurrency has given through Covid-19 is unbelievable.
Don't forget that the pandemic and the growth of bitcoin isn't just the reason, the pandemic also coincide with the halving in 2020 which is proven to pump the prices when it happens, which it really did. I think you're right about it being immune to the effects of the pandemic although I hope that it won't change when the pandemic is over.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will make Canada a superpower? on: August 17, 2021, 04:55:26 PM
This helps Canada and its people grow and prosper. Quebec may become the most advanced state/region in the world. This will be an interesting future. The two articles are a bit similar, but there are differences, but it doesn't matter.
Now that's just exaggerating what bitcoin can do when it becomes a big thing in Canada, it's not like bitcoin's going to solve all the problems in Canada, it's a financial tool but it's not a medical, military or geopolitical tool so I don't see the point of going to the extreme with the capabilities of bitcoin. Yes it might help with the economy but I don't think bitcoin's going to go outside the realm of finance.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose job should be more appreciated about Bitcoin widespread? on: August 17, 2021, 04:15:53 PM
whose work should be appreciated more about bitcoin being widespread,?? Personally, in my opinion, the first thing we should respect is the inventor of bitcoin, which many people call satoshi, after that the developer, everyone on the bitcointalk forum, we must also respect the media, because with the help of the media, everyone can easily get to know bitcoin deeper..
That's just a dumb answer, of course everyone appreciates the creator. If we remove the dumb answers here since those dumb answers are automatically appreciated, I think media is the one that we should thank the most, no matter if they have a negative view towards bitcoin or a positive one, they still contribute to making bitcoin getting recognized by more people.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 17, 2021, 03:36:42 PM
God I hope that they accept it someday, I feel like they're progressive in terms of new technology so I think that they will consider and finally add them someday that kind of payment system. They can probably multiply their profit because they can just store the crypto that they accept since they still profit a lot without the crypto.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 17, 2021, 02:57:39 PM
~
Yes, basically when they are children, whatever gadget they use, it should be the responsibility of the parents, which means, parents still have full control to control their every activity on the gadget. Because of the guidance or not, children over time will know all that because of the environment as well. But if parents can continue to supervise their children during their growing up period, then I believe children who get more supervision than their parents will understand what is good and what is bad for them even if they are aware of gambling and pornography.
The ultimate thing that they shouldn't even do is that they shouldn't even let the children hold gadgets that doesn't help them in their formative years because whether we don't like it or like, those formative spent on gadgets is going to retard the growth of the mind of the children.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the best cryptocurrencies for esports betting? on: August 17, 2021, 02:19:57 PM
I'd choose bitcoin,Litecoin and will pick some coin which is not in your list and that us XRP since this one is quite reliable also you can also add USDT as suggested by several members since this could give the users who want to bet on stable coin since there are gamblers who doesn't like the volatility of other unstable coins that's why if you plan to add some coins to your plan sportsbook better add these options for more selections.
Wouldn't you be regretting using bitcoin for your betting given how high the prices right now that the right thing to do would be to hodl it and wait for the really big rise in prices to happen and hopefully you can get much more value out of it rather than spending it on gambling which doesn't guarantee that you will win it back.
531  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰BUFF.bet | In-play| eSports| Sports| Casino| BTC, ETH and Litecoin accepted💰 on: August 17, 2021, 01:44:17 PM
Buff88, is this normal behaviour that customers have to provide KYC every 6 months again? Even if nothing has changed in terms of their details?
I find this very peculiar and annoying to be honest. Are you sure this is not a mistake?
It is peculiar and I think that it's unnecessary especially I aam sure that no one is going to be changing accounts when it comes to gambling. Buff88 better change those rules regarding KYC because it's somewhat annoying to be honest.
532  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 17, 2021, 01:11:03 PM
I have always said, If you want a token or coin to be successful.. you have to create some kind of use case for it.. so this can be a new use case or you can form partnerships with merchants and retailer to accept it as a currency. Once you achieve that goal, the token shifts from being a shitcoin to a legit coin with value.
Exactly, the utility is the important and sometimes the selling point of many coins, if it's caged on only one or two utility then there's no point for it to really be successful because it only caters a small group of people that specifically benefit from those two utility meaning that it will limit your demand. Some coins really don't want to be a cause for change, most of the existing are just quick cash grabs.

Hey @zanezane, shipping will be handled according to the listed terms and conditions. However, user can choose the option of taking the cash instead of the Tesla Model 3. As for the funds to be wagered, literally any ticket can win you the Tesla, only the fortune decides the finale.

Tornike
Thank you for answering, that's actually sweet of you taking the extra mile to handle the item in terms of shipping and have that option of making the prize turn to cash if they opt to just make it just cash instead of the prize itself.
534  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satellite Betting (Low Delay) on: August 17, 2021, 11:20:13 AM
Doesn't that counts as cheating, having delays before the goals have been announced? Plus your service is a bit suspicious since you want your deal to be on the Telegram and I don't trust any people that uses Telegram to deal with some transactions.
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: August 16, 2021, 06:55:12 PM
🚘 TESLA MODEL 3 GIVEAWAY 🚘
I am curious, how do they exactly get the win if they are say overseas? And can the prize be convertible into cash or something like that? I do hope that I can win this one even though I don't have a lot of money to wager, I hope my tickets will be the lucky ones.
536  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 16, 2021, 06:20:29 PM
Betking.io signature campaign is already gone and the campaign only made the accounts of those that joined them somewhat unusable given that they have a red tag for joining which is a big no-no for legitimate campaigns here. How long will 1xbit pretend that there's nothing wrong and just go back to their old self.
537  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io is a blatant scam operated by Dean Nolan on: August 16, 2021, 05:42:26 PM
~

tldr; Dean systematically scammed everyone who trusted him. First tried ripping off Daniel by not paying the software license fee (and then after called out, pretended he rewrote the software in like a week, lol). Then he scammed his ICO investors by refusing the honor his "buy back price" scheme which was part of the deal and repeatedly promised (which made the tokens worth pennies on the dollar). And then that basically killed off his casino and he had almost zero volume, and then suddenly "whoops, we got hacked" and finally bankroll investors and players lost their money too.

I'm not sure what Dean is trying to do now. It's not clear to me what if he's just trying to "clear" his name by making it look like he's paying people back and it was all an accident. Or he actually is delusional enough to think people will trust him again? My guess is the former, he must know. His casino operated with pretty much zero volume for a long time due to his terrible reputation until the "hack". I suspect he's just sick of when people google "Dean Nolan" they see his history and he wants to muddy the waters.
Didn't that this degenerate piece of shit has a long history of duping people and he seems to be good at it since he has a long rap sheet of shenanigans. This man shouldn't even be alive anymore because out of those people that he has stolen their money off, I am pretty sure that someone from those people have already hunted him and shoot him in the face multiple times which I am hoping for to happen. This kind of people, if they continue living will make more lives miserable in the process, he's a parasite.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a speculative asset or as currency on: August 16, 2021, 05:09:28 PM
~
both are functions and benefits that we can get from bitcoin, both as a speculative investment asset and as a digital currency, but as citizens of course we must follow all regulations issued by our country regarding the use of bitcoin, and in my country bitcoin it can only be used as an investment asset and will get punished if you use bitcoin as a currency (a payment/purchase transaction tool), and that's why I personally prefer bitcoin as an investment asset because there are state regulations that I have to follow, but it's different with other people who live in el salvador today, those who live in salvador already have the freedom to use bitcoin both as an investment asset and as a currency because the el salvador government has completely legalized cryptocurrency in their country.
That's a really harsh country that you're living in for them to not allow you to use it as a means to pay for your transaction. In my country though, I don't have to worry too much about it because the laws here are only enforced strictly for about 2 or 3 months and then people forget it and the enforcers don't care so we can use both, that is why I was asking why not both.
539  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of policy reversal on cryptocurrencies on: August 16, 2021, 04:24:20 PM
What do you mean deflationary policies? I am sure that it's only being into law if there's a continuous abnormal inflation growth for consecutive years already but if not, I don't think that the government wants a deflationary policy because inflation at a small and consistent percentage is a sign of growth of the economy.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network issue on: August 16, 2021, 03:49:07 PM
It's been two years since this has been a thing, Pi network is nothing but just an elaborate way to harvest data from it's user so they can sell them to companies in which those companies will bombard you with ads. Plus, you really don't want your info to leak out right especially what you're doing on your phone, privacy is a commodity now and a lot of people are paying to have yours.
