Yep, it's true that this draw seemed to open up the opportunity for Manchester City to advance to the next round because Real Madrid couldn't score a goal to give Manchester City an aggregate difference in that match. It's a shame that Real Madrid was unable to take advantage of the home advantage in this match and made things difficult for Manchester. City, the 3 goals scored by Real Madrid were the same as in vain because Manchester City also scored 3 goals to achieve a draw. This is the strategy used by Pep Guardiola, he puts pressure on Real Madrid even though he cannot beat Real Madrid at Madrid's headquarters, but Manchester City will try to beat Real Madrid in the second leg because Manchester City has a greater chance of playing at home.

The strategy used by Carlo Ancelotti is actually good, but the strategy used by Pep Guardiola is more effective in reaching Real Madrid's defense, Manchester City can control the ball well so it can make things difficult for Real Madrid, even though technically both clubs still have a chance to advance to the next round but Real Madrid's chances are not as big as Manchester City's, their competition looks very fierce in the race for the Champions League title and they don't seem to want to miss any opportunities at any second.
The draw between the UCL heavyweights gives Man City more advantage especially as they’ll now be playing the return leg in their home and with the way you saw them in the first leg, you’ll know Pep and his boys still have a lot up their sleeves and will be willing to use the home advantage against Ancelotti. I think the return leg will be one thrilling encounter as both teams are on a good note.

Real Madrid weren’t bad either just that the moments they let the game slip away, City were always present to let those to their own advantages and as a result were able to level the scoreline. This is going to be a big worry fir Ancelotti because he needs to make sure his boys are up and running at the Etihad.

Man City won’t relax in their home ground in front of their home fans but you can’t overlook the game between these two as it’s a game of who is who and anything can happen especially as the away goal rule has been scrapped. With the right tactics any of them can be able to make it through to the semis.

The strategies by both coaches aren’t bad as we’re not expecting anything less in the matches between them as these two are the major contenders for the UCL trophy.  I still have huge hopes on Madrid winning rather than Man City as they’re a better squad as you can see in the match few days ago.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 11, 2024, 08:56:33 PM

Yes, that's the reality, friends. Al Nasr was eliminated from all existing competitions (except the domestic league and Saudi King's Cup). I personally also really regret that this season the team that Ronaldo is playing for can't talk much in the existing competition (in Saudi Arabia/Asia). But even so, we still can't blame Ronaldo for this failure. Because in my opinion, Ronaldo had a very good performance at Al Nasr. The proof is that Ronaldo has scored a lot of goals this season and is the temporary top scorer in the Saudi Arabian League. So the cause of this season's failure cannot be blamed entirely on Ronaldo. Because after all Al Nasr is a team containing 11 players (on the field) and not just Ronaldo. So in essence, Al Nasr's current failure is caused by all Al Nasr players whose performance has not been uniformly optimal.

And regarding the red card that Ronaldo received, it will certainly be detrimental to Al Nasr in the next two matches. But I personally don't worry about that. The reason is, in the next two matches the team that Al Nasr will play against will not make things difficult for Al Nasr even without Ronaldo. Because, the teams that Al Nasr will face in these two matches are Al Feiha and Al Khalej. So I am sure that in these two matches it is very likely that Al Nasr will be able to win the match even if Ronaldo does not play.

This season has been quite disappointing for Ronaldo and his fans as this will be his second season in the league without a trophy and that’s not really what the fans expected especially as they thought he will be able to conquer the Saudi League like he did while at Europe. At this point, he’s virtually out of all competitions and will it seems there’s no hope of him being able to win any trophy.

Al-Hilal eliminated them earlier this week in a thrilling encounter where the star man was shown a red card in the 86th minute which means he’ll literally be missing in some encounters for the club. The red card is one very big worry for the club because of Ronaldo’s big importance for the club and how much his absence could cost the club.

Yes it’s not Ronaldo’s fault that they’re trophyless as you can see that he keeps maintaining his standard for the club despite injury and all, yet he still remains the clubs top scorer. One big deal is the club not being able to build up and acquire adequate players that will help complement the efforts of Ronaldo.

For the 2 matches he’ll be missing, yes his presence will be missed but I think these matches are quite easy ones for Ronaldo’s team to be able to overcome without Ronaldo in the match. I wish the team will be able to build up and get the right signings so that we can see a better Al Nassr next season rather than this mid team we’re seeing who are being complimented by Ronaldo’s efforts.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 11, 2024, 03:49:36 PM

Real Madrid do well because they perform very well because everywhere come to win matches to get the chance to qualify to the next round, but I think Guadiola is planning something in the second leg in the Etihad he beach de Bruyne and Doku in the fast leg because they will do the rest in the Etihad because I know before the second leg all guadiola players will be back so that they can get the strength to defeat madrid, but I just believe madrid will not make Manchester City win them this season. because madrid do well against Manchester City in the fast leg is just that madrid miss lose there chances and  reduce there performance in the second half that make foden get the chance and score beautiful goals,  since madrid are leading by one they reduce there straight and be playing weak game.

What I've noticed with Madrid's games, when they're leading their opponents, they don't always perform well, but when they're ahead, you can see Madrid doing well, confusing the other team, and making a comeback. I believe Madrid can achieve it because they have more experience than Manchester City and have won 24 Champions League titles, which they will add this season because Guadiola believes he is the finest coach and is attempting to demonstrate Ancelotti that he is better than them. Is attempting to win the Champions League consecutively, and if Guadiola wins the Champions League again this season. I don't think Madrid can beat Manchester City anymore, unless they add fresh players to the club next season.
So far this season, Real Madrid have been very much active and set towards the La Liga trophy goal. They've in many weeks played games and ensured good results that's gotten and kept them in the top spot of the league table. Even though a couple of times, their performances have been reducing in range, they've still being able to manage a win before the end of the game.

Well, they still have the champions confidence and determination in them too, adding that their manager is very much experimental in his approach to their games. They're a good team and they sure do know how to fix up their errors. Well it's very much essential that they correct errors faster and avoid incidents that are drastic and costly to occur as the times left won't entertain mistakes because it'll only be irreparable.

Their encounter against Sevilla well ended in a victory for them but they ought to have done better. Their performances in time past was enough evidence to show how capable they are for the game against Sevilla. Well, I don't know exactly who to blame though but I feel they're starting to take chances too. I think it only got scary and dangerous two games ago when they took on Vallecano and were left to a draw. Now one would think how such proactive team playing the host would succumb to a visiting team who are less performing than they are. Well that's the unpredictable nature of football.

Sevilla themselves have all time being tough contenders in the league, giving big teams tough times too and it's understandable that they were able to ensure and cover up all the chances Madrid tried to make in the game. Well Madrid are a better team and they've got to show it on the pitch. We'll see how the next games would hold up for them.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 11, 2024, 03:13:12 PM

This season's Bundesliga has several interesting things that might result in a different ending at the end of the season because this season is more competitive than previous seasons. This season's Bundesliga offers a different final result from the previous season where it can always be guessed who will succeed in winning the title race at the end of the season. The hopes of fans who are very interested in watching the Bundesliga have almost come true after producing boring final results over the last decade. It is almost certain that the Bundesliga will soon have a new champion after Leverkusen succeeded in controlling the standings with a fairly large point difference with Munich, which has always dominated the Bundesliga.

Munich weak strength began with the drama that occurred after Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann, Tuchel was one of the factors that caused Munich to collapse this season. The reason Munich appointed Tuchel as head coach was because they wanted to win all the trophies they could possibly win, but they failed to achieve their target after Tuchel was in charge.
Munich immediately stopped in the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal and failed to win the DFL Super Cup trophy after being beaten by RB Leipzig. They also certainly couldn't win the Bundesliga trophy because they were no longer able to catch up with the points collected by Leverkusen. Of course Munich is in their worst form this season, currently the UCL is the only trophy they can possibly win. But even that is not certain because they still have to play a life and death match in the second leg to ensure they qualify for the next round.

Tuchel's presence in the team ought to make a significant impact to their endeavors all time and also Kane's performance needed to add a big advantage to them but so far, their recent games have turned out opposite of their normal and expected performance rate. It'll only mean that their journey this season to a top spot is threatened and no one can say exactly if they'll be able to scale through it.

They've not been encouraging and it's quite appaling that they remain depreciated week after week. Sadly though, Tuchel's stay in the club is seemingly threatened, his days are actually numbered and it's understandable that the management would want a switch for the coach position as they expected him to be better considering how much effort his put in recent times and even with flaws, they need not to keep overlooking it as it's unending.

Well it'll only task them to find a proper hand that'll replace Tuchel's as so far they need not to take their chances and cause this to continue unto the next season. Alonso is being quested for and if they're able to secure him, well, hopefully he'll be able to take them out of the state they are. His records are speaking for him and so it's understandable that they see him as a proper prospect for the job ahead in the club.

Not also forgetting the fact that they've got to strive to gain back their name in the league. Yes, acquiring new players is essential to a team and with their caliber, they really have what it takes to go for the best of the bests. This season's experience should be enough for them to learn and react better to next season. They're an impactful team and so they should do their best to get whatever necessities needed for a good team outcome.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 11, 2024, 02:48:47 PM

In as much as they have like 2 games to be crowned champions I still feel that they were looking down on their opponent (Udinese) that's why it was hard to beat them that easy and it reminded me of when they played Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the champions league, they underrated them and they (Inter Milan) paid the price of being kicked out of the champions league.
On their way to be crowned champions I feel they're going to be delayed just like it happened to Napoli last campaign where they had to draw a game and they waited for a week to accomplish their goal. Inter Milan can't wait to get hold of that trophy and from how things are going judging by how they played their last game I think they might draw or lose their next game to delay it a little bit more.
Between Milan and Udinese, both teams have had quite a good record this season and they're sure were challenging to themselves, keeping the odds for the game aside. Udinese had the lesser chance of winning though but still they strived. Udinese were the host, they had a good game yesterday and they tried to put enough pressure on their visitors too which was an extra boost to their confidence for the game.

And for Milan, they also had a good game in the match and they were able to earn for themselves the three points in the game. For the two teams, it was only fair that the game ended with that result with just a goal margin. It works in both of their favours. At least there was time to fight hard and maximize experience too. Judging from Lazio's performance so far, they've got what it takes to finish at a very stable spot this season. They're good at what they do and they're relentless in their strides.

Their encounter against Udinese seemed a bit tough for them as the both teams had little or no difference in terms of quality of impact in games. Udinese were competitive and even though they didn't find themselves in an appropriate position on the league table, they still found a way to make relevance in every game encounter they have had. I'd say that the both teams had thesame level of advantage to games and it wasn't a surprise that the game ended  with that result. Although the 3points from winning subsequent games is highly needed at this phase of the season but judging by their performances both then and now, they're very much fit to counter each other and make the game end on equal stance.

Although, inasmuch as a weighty gap is expected of them, Inter Milan has made it difficult because they've also been in their best form. At thesame time, it'll not be hard to stay in shape to earn a ticket to next season's European contests. They've been able to play resiliently and the results so far is fit to help them earn this ticket but the difficulty they may face this season is the trophy of the Serie A, the top contenders won't let it slip away from them, they're in their own way and end putting streanous efforts to ensure that they get the maximum number of points to keep the gaps and help them win the trophy.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 10, 2024, 09:24:05 PM

Last season Real Madrid got there attention divided and they were aiming at winning the Champions League and that is why the hunger to win the Spanish league was not really a thing for them, and even the Champions League they were removed by Manchester City and does guys played well to still maintain there target to still win the Premier League. And Benzema did well for real Madrid. And this time I think the whole thing will end, because they will definitely win it this time around.

They have invested a lot of effort in both of the leagues this time around but there is more assurance in winning the la Liga than winning the premier League. But you never  can tell what will happen next but if you look at it, la Liga is a well deserved trophy for real Madrid.
The quarter final games have been drawn, now it's seeming like a reincarnating battle. The rivalry continues and it all seems unpredictable. The odds for team qualifications are a bit difficult to predict as  the game only gets tougher now and a lot has to be put into consideration without neglecting how different the performance may turn out on the field of play.

PSG will battle out with Barcelona, Arsenal with Munich, Real Madrid with City and Atletico with Dortmund. The toughest game of these schedules would have been all except for Munich and Arsenal but as it stands, Arsenal still has a shot against this German side considering how poor Munich have been in passing weeks and then Arsenal giving their all to their games.

Though they've not had a good UCL record, so in records, Munich stands a chance. So comparing both teams, it's just best to leave the decision to be decided on the pitch. Real Madrid and City are title contenders too in their respective leagues, UCL title is as well their natural aim and so one of them would have to surrender it off at this stage of the competition.

Yesterday's encounter for City and Madrid proved entertaining being that the teams are top domestic league title contenders and they've got a world class squad. It ended in a fair draw for both sides and it's really difficult to say the highest probable side to qualify considering the level of impact they bring to the pitch. From the start till the end of the game, the teams were able to prove to themselves their class, worth and ability to be champions. The second leg is highly anticipated and really not to bet or vouch for any team, let the best team win.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 10, 2024, 09:15:36 PM
It's a very expensive contract and I think Mbaape is too arrogant because when he gets a fairly large contract like that, he has to think that the team has very high confidence in Mbaape's jersey number. PSG may already have a list of players they are targeting and buying for next season when the transfer market reopens.
Regarding Mbappe future situation, it is not yet certain whether he will join Real Madrid or another team. Apart from that, I read in several sports media that Mbappe will leave PSG at the end of this season, but there is a possibility that he will stay if PSG this season manages to win the Champions League. Of course there is a lot of news that is not necessarily completely true with the Mbappe news, but with Real Madrid interest in Mbappe there is a possibility that it could become a reality at the end of this season.

I don't see that Mbappe is that arrogant, he does have a selfish nature but that won't stop big teams from recruiting him. Mbappe certainly has a pretty good future in the future because big teams like Real Madrid continue to spread appeals to get Mabppe signature. Let's wait for Mbappe's decision whether he likes to venture into the Premier League or LaLiga next season.
In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him. For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run.

Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool were questing for him as well, i didn't think they were set to afford that amount for him during the January transfer window. Let's just anticipate summer break whilst watching his movement decision unfold.

Real Madrid has even been performing at their best without a stable striker in the team, then we think of how much more they'd perform if they eventually get a striker for themselves. Left for me, they're doing just fine without a striker. They've in the team a lot of youngsters that are doing excellent in their general balling ability. But still they just have to have for themselves a striker that'd be majored on that role of goal scoring and they won't have to be using a false forward in their games.

Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 10, 2024, 09:05:56 PM

PSG should be able to defeat a team at Clermont's level with the available player material. even though in reality, the coach, Luis Enrique, did not reduce his main players to become the starting eleven. however, it is understandable that Luis Enrique gave more opportunities to 17 year old young players who played on the wing and other young players who played as wing defenders. and as a result, PSG was unable to get full points even though in the second half the main players such as Mbappe and others were introduced. the match ended with a score of 1-1, despite the fact that Paris Saint-Germain fell behind first.

Fortunately, towards the end of the match, Mbappe provided an assist which Goncalo Ramos converted into an equalizer. and yeah, the match ended 1-1. and as we know, the result of this match has no influence at all on PSG's ranking in the Ligue 1 table. And as we all agree, Luis Enrique prioritizes the Champions League quarter-final match against Barcelona later. That's why several of PSG's core players were not the main starters in the match against Clermont. For Lique 1, PSG will not have any significant obstacles. but in the Champions League, PSG needs to concentrate to focus on overthrowing Barcelona. That's why some players save their energy.

PSG in the league are doing very greatly and in that match against Clermont, you would not expect PSG to be struggling as psg are far doing great as they’re clear even on point. In that match over the weekend, PSG rested most of her key players for the UCL game and you can see the difference im the second half

In the second half, we saw PSG having introduced her major players and you can see the difference in how they played just that they were only able to get a draw in that fixture and it’s not really bad especially as they’re very clear on being the league winners. Mbappe who’s about to leave keep increasing his numbers for the club as he was able to provide an assist that helped PSG get their draw.

In the league, I don’t think PSG will be having any difficulty of any sort as they’re in a better position in the league table and as such you can understand why the coach rested most of the club’s key players in this fixture. PSG main target is the ucl and as such they’re are doing everything possible to be able to get to the UCL semi final and probably the final. The club will have to prepare very well because Barcelona won’t be an easy opponent for PSG to face in this round of the competition. I’m very confident that PSG could get something but they’ve got to do more than the ordinary to be able to defeat Barca.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2024, 08:34:31 PM

For a team like Munich that has dominated the Bundesliga for years, I don't think they will have any difficulty getting a UCL ticket just because Munich experienced a decline this season and didn't get the title. Munich's decline was not so drastic that they still got a UCL ticket, but what was a big obstacle was that if Munich had difficulty in the Bundesliga, automatically in the UCL, they also had difficulty competing with big teams and that was a big obstacle for Munich.
Arteta's Arsenal are young, vibrant and victory oriented too. They won't want to give off their chances at the trophy just so easily to Porto. They're a side more likely to put up a fierce contest and make the game tough for their opponent Porto. Maybe or maybe not, Porto will be able to endure the strength Arsenal would put up. Arsenal are to some extent technically better than them still.Munich's performance has been lingering far behind their usual tempo which is odd for them. Their journey to the most appropriate spot this season is threatened and no one is certain that they'll be able to scale through. Their performance is far less than encouraging too.

Where is Munich's problem from? The end part of this season is seeming tough for them already and it's a huge reproach to the name they've established for themselves, their aims and objectives too as regards competitions this season. Out of the blue, Leverkusen are now outshining the once dreaded German team, although it brings life to football but it's not a leisure to them having unending game setbacks in the results. Tuchel is a tactical coach and it's expected that he corrects these errors.

Yesterday's first leg game of the UCL ended in a tie for the two teams. Personally, I knew it would not be an easy game for the teams based on the fact that they're and won't be ready to be suppressed regardless of their performance rate in the domestic leagues. Arsenal themselves have had a smooth running season so far and they've done their best to keep a good record in their home games. The past games is enough to be a boost towards their UCL encounter and even though they may not really stand a chance at securing the title, they've got what it takes to fight through the tussle.

Bayern Munich on the other hand have had a good history in the European contests and loosing their ranks to Arsenal will be diminishing on them. Yes, they've had to fight through games for some weeks and have also incurred a number of losses but it's not still enough reason that they succumb to Arsenal's pressure. Even though, majority of us felt Munich will fail in delivering a good result, they did their best to prove us wrong. Maybe it'll be a better performance for them in the second leg but it really would be a tough encounter as well.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 10, 2024, 08:21:46 PM

In fact, Arsenal really succeeded in retaining Arteta because, infact, during Arteta first season as head coach of Arsenal at that time, Arteta started the season badly at thattime. But yes, as time went by many fans started to doubt Arteta quality at that time, but Arsenal gave full confidence to Arteta, so that thi sseason Arteta still managed to provide the best results for Arsenal. Soyes, maybe this season Arsenal can really succeed in getting the Premier League trophy because after all, in this season Arsenal managed not to lose by Manchester City and Liverpool in all the matches played in the Premier League .Therefore, Arteta efforts this season are clearly very impressive, although it is still not easy to maintain the topposition, but it is possible that this season Arsenal will succeed in getting a trophy.
Arteta is one big blessing to this Arsenal squad at this time as his impact is really showing off in the team’s general performance as you can see how he’s shaped this Arsenal team who are known to finish 5th or 6th to now challenge for the league over the past two seasons. This kind of improvement he’s brought is what most clubs in the league have been searching so hard for

As such, because of how he’s built this team, I know very well he’s got the full backing of the board and they’ll be willing to fund him more to be able to acquire the needed players. He’s one man that has played under a class coach like Arsene Wenger and Unai and at a point he even had to study under Pep at City.

Going through this kind of mentorship will sure bring him to class and he’s in no way lacking in that aspect. He’s really shaped this young Arsenal squad and has improved their mentality and now you can see how fiercely they challenge even European Champions, Man City.

I think he needs a reward for his efforts and that will be the boys at least winning a trophy and I think that’s what he’s working towards as he wants to end the 20 years long wait for the club to win the League trophy. It’s very possible as they need to keep being up and doing in the matches like they’ve been doing and they’ll sure get the trophy they deserve.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 10, 2024, 08:04:46 PM

Real Madrid, which is known as a strong team because of its history of having an arch enemy, namely Barcelona, they have their own characteristics, but when they met Man City they seemed to have difficulties as you said with Man City having more possession of the ball it proves that Man City is not a team that is easy to beat, especially since we all know that Man City is a strong team this season, not just this season. Even in previous seasons they were a strong team.

If they can match Real Madrid, it proves that they have a strong performance. I don't underestimate Real Madrid because Real Madrid also has a good performance with their game  maybe in the second leg Real Madrid will win,  but I doubt that but we don't know because it can't be predicted so let's just wait for the results.  What is clear is that these two teams will definitely show their best game to be able to win the match even though they are facing a strong team.
The UCL match between the competition’s heavyweight was really shown in the scoreline in the match between these two teams as we saw them both playing out a 3-3 draw in a thrilling encounter. This match was one that had end to end action and sincerely football fans loved every moment from this match.

Now this draw means more work from Real Madrid as we saw how much they tried to stay up in the game yesterday but anytime they let the tempo down, then Man City didn’t hesitate to take advantage and hit them with a goal. Real Madrid still have some work to do at the Etihad as they’ve not just got to maintain that energy level but rather step higher.

Rodrigo for Real Madrid was one wonder to watch as truly he showed out his quality and henceforth I wouldn’t entertain any Rodrigo vs Martinelli debate because Rodrigo is way far on that scale. He was really into the game as compared to Haaland for City. Man City should be real grateful they have a player as Foden who was able to step up into the main boots for them where Haaland was failing. Pep is really an expert and I think Madrid will need to do more than the ordinary if they’re to stand a chance at the Etihad this season.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 10, 2024, 07:53:12 PM

The point is that players must consistently have a winning mentality to win the EPL title this season. I think we can see that the competition is getting tighter with a very narrow point difference between the three clubs, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, of course we can't guess who will win. EPL title this season because it is possible that what is currently the favorite and is at the top of the standings may fail in several matches at the end of the season and ultimately fail like last season.

I don't know if Arsenal is ready enough to become EPL champions this season because last season they failed to win it and give Manchester City another chance to become champions and get the treble winner at once, I think Arteta seems to have learned from last season's mistakes and he seems to want to make amends This season, whether in the race for the EPL or UCL title, this season at least they seem hungry for victory to be able to continue to achieve their goal of winning the EPL and UCL titles, even though the competition is tight, if they have a winning mentality it will definitely be easy to overcome.
Yes Arsenal have really improved more than how they were last season that they lost the trophy by blowing up a long lead at the top of the table. It was really one bottling the fans found it hard to accept and as such, they’re all confident on them not repeating same errors this season.

I fear Arsenal might not still be able to win the league because of the key fixtures they have against likes of Man United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and also Chelsea. Yes the attack line of Arsenal has been fierce and I understand how confident you’re on this Arsenal side, but you can’t overlook these teams as these teams are also in chase for European football.

For Arsenal to be confident on winning the league then there need to be some points dropped by Liverpool and Man City, then only can Arsenal be a bit confident. The players mentality needs to remain top notch as they should keep taking every match like a final and always gun for victory.

For their UCL hope, well I don’t think that will be a reality, rather they should focus more on the EPL as that’s easily achievable because the team isn’t yet up to the standard of the ucl. The epl can be easily gotten and the fans will love it rather than them losing out in all competitions.

It is true that Ronaldo was unable to break through Al Hilal's goal for 86 minutes before he was sent off the field, this was because the Al Hilal players were more focused on Ronaldo so Ronaldo had difficulty putting up resistance so he got annoyed and made a hard elbow at Al Bulayhi on the sideline field until he was sent off by the referee. Previously Ronaldo had received 2 yellow cards in the first half and in the second half. When Al Nassr was 2 goals behind, making Ronaldo's emotional peak increasingly uncontrollable, causing unexpected things, this of course made the audience Al Nassr felt annoyed, they felt that their club's defeat was caused by Ronaldo, which was detrimental to his club because he was also unable to do much in that match.

In my opinion, Ronaldo's red card is detrimental to the club because Al Nassr still needs his services in the next match in the Saudi League, even though currently Al Nassr has been eliminated in all competitions and will return to focus on the Saudi League. However, if Ronaldo gets a red card, Ronaldo will automatically be absent from several matches unless Al Nassr is willing to appeal or pay a fine to atone for Ronaldo's mistake, then that will be fine and Ronaldo will continue to play in the next match. His absence will certainly be detrimental to the club.
Well, I sincerely doubt this your claim of Ronaldo’s absence not being felt by the club. A red card in any football game makes the red card team already short of a player and especially for a team that’s behind it’s a big setback. The red card was given to their main man in the attack, their most reliable goal scorer and even though they were able to score after the red card, that gives a high chance of them being able to double the score and take the match to ET very high.

It’s very normal for Ronaldo to be that angry as you don’t expect him to be happy he’ll be going trophyless for another season since his big move to the Saudi Club. In his 2 seasons he’s incredibly remained the highest goal scorer in the league and going trophyless is one very annoying feat for Ronaldo.

I understand that he was in te field for over 85 minutes yet he wasn’t able to score that doesn’t mean he can’t do something in the remaining 5 mins plus extra time so that’s not an excuse to say his absence wasn’t felt. Football is a game of 90 minutes and when one team is short with a player, it makes them handicapped and they manage to play like that.

The club needs Ronaldo and I know they could pay to atone for the red card because of how important Ronaldo is in the club. Well they’re already out of all competitions and their chances of still winning the league is very little especially as Al Hilal keeps being unstoppable.

Coach will indeed be the first party who is always blamed when the team being coached experiences failure or significant decline in performance, conditions like this are experienced by all existing team and those who always experience decline are definitely coaches who are always considered bad in their performance.
Regarding Bayern Munich, I think Tuchel is still working well because they can still fight until now they are in the quarter-finals, if the decline occurs significantly and they are categorized as weak team then they will have been eliminated from the start.
UCL competition is the most prestigious competition and any European team definitely wants to be able to win the UCL title, this season Tuchel targets to bring Bayern Munich to win the UCL.
From here, I think it is still normal for Bayern Munich to experience decline in performance in the Bundesliga competition as long as in important competitions like the UCL they are still strong team.

Moreover, Bayern Munich is the most successful team in winning the Bundesliga title, so if this season fails then it is not failure that should be disappointed.
They can still stay in second place and have the chance to become runners-up this season.

Udinese know the quality of Inter Milan that they were realized it could be a suicide if playing attacking against them so that's why since the beginning of match Udinese playing with defensive style and rely on counter attack strategy to create the opportunities to scores and we can see it based on Udinese match statistics that during the match they only have 23% ball possession and 1 shot on goal and actually this strategy is run well because in the first half they can stole goal from Samardžić but Inter Milan is really dominate the game which makes Udinese cannot out from the pressure

It's clearly Udinese was targetting draw result because they know a bit impossible for them to beat Inter Milan with their current conditions and in my opinion Udinese actually was performing well because they can hold Inter Milan until extra time of second half but unfortunately Maduka Okoye make a mistakes and he was committed a foul that earned Inter Milan a penalty which mean Udinese have to lost dramatically from this match

536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: April 09, 2024, 09:04:04 PM

After having 75 points from 28 games and lead from second spotted Feyenoord by 10 points and just 6 games remaining in this season there is no threat for the PSV they are already champions of the Eredivisie for the 2024, and they are going to play another time in Champions League which is good development for them in remaining 6 games just game from the round 29 having some challenge as they will host the AZ Alkmaar others are relatively against easy opponents, and we all know PSV lost only one game in this season mean all is going to be good end for them.

Ajax is surely needed some improvement in remaining matches if they are looking for the Europa League because we have competition between AZ Alkmaar and Ajax for the fourth spot AZ Alkmaar is having some lead, but things are not favour able them while they are consistently losing points which are surely going to hurt them badly at the end of this season.
PSV have gathered enough points and are going to be crowned champions of their league soon but they will need to gain maximum points in the next 3-4 games. When you check the fixture table, you’ll see that the first 2 games are going to be quite easy for PSV because these teams are still struggling to find their feet and as such PSV knows what they want which is to win the league early enough and as such I’m sure they’ll be able to get maximum points in these first 2 fixtures.

PSV hard game will be Sparta Rotterda which are a better team and are looking more confident and they’ll sure be giving PSG some tough time in a run for their league victory. Well not withstanding the league is about to end with about 6 games to go and PSV are leading with a gap of 10 points.

Feynoord I don’t think will be able to catch up with PSV, because a win in 2 games for PSV and a draw in 2 could be able to give PSV the league already so the chances of Feynoord catching up is really slim. AZ Alkmaar are also a good opponent but I don’t think theyll be able to be the hindrance on PSV getting maximum points as currently this PSV team has just lost one game.

Ajax and AZ Alkmaar are in the battle for 4th place so as to get Europa League spot and Ajax are looking quite fierce as compared to Alkmaar who haven’t had a great performance this season. I just wish Ajax would be able to qualify because they’ll be a better representative than AZ Alkmaar in the UEL.

Not surprised to see the final result of this match because Al-Hilal is indeed much better than Al-Nassr this season, so the final is according to predictions because Ittihad faced relatively easier opponents so it is certain that they will get to the final as well as in the final the favorite is still Al-Hilal because Ittihad is no better than Al-Nassr which was defeated by Al-Hilal.

What was surprising was seeing Ronaldo get a red card and of course that was a detrimental thing for his team because they were 2-0 behind and playing with only 10 players so there would be an imbalance in Al-Nassr's game, although in the end Sadio Mane managed to reduce the deficit but the time available did not allow enough opportunity for Al-Nassr to score a second goal so that the match could continue through extra time. With Al-Hilal reaching the final, it could be said that this season belongs to Al-Hilal.
Well h the Semi finals of te Super Cup has just been concluded and Al-Hilal weee able to go past Al Nassr in this match. Well it was expected to an extent especially as this Al Hilal side have been very dominating even in the league and as such we expected them to dominate Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr were also very confident as they were able to contain this Al-Hilal dominance and this match really showed how improved Al-Nassr has been from the last time these 2 teams faced each other. Al-Nassr have really improved on how they play and in their match you can see how better they were able to keep the game under control though they conceded late in the 2nd half.

The anger of Ronaldo though was quite understandable but I feel he could hace controlled himself especially knowing that his team are behind in the score. Rather his red card made the team play with a man down and as such this had a great effect on the team’s performance in the final 4-7 minutes. Al-Hilal the final is one worthy of applauds as now we can see how superior they are, though I think they’re one great team in the league and it’s quite understandable them dominating the league.

Salah ended up staying at Anfield for the 2023-24 campaign, but talkSPORT reports Liverpool are preparing themselves for another push to lure him to the Middle East. Al-Ittihad are expected to make a new attempt to lure him away from Merseyside, but this time they face competition from current Pro League leaders Al-Hilal, who are prepared to offer £70m ($89m) for him.

There is another rumor about Salah coming again after some news sites were back talking about him to join in the saudi pro league club. The Reds appear to be interested in selling Salah if Liverpool fails to win a trophy this season caused by it was missing some momentum like the match against united. It is still possible, as Liverpool is now in second place with fewer games remaining. This means Liverpool's chances of winning the trophy are lower than the previous week when it was topping EPL.
Liverpool and Arsenal will have many tough games soon and city will have chance to take over the trophy once again like last season considering the fact that if city will have lighter fixtures compared its competitors. The result from upcoming games will be critical in determining their chances of winning the competition at the end of the season considering the remaining games are getting even less than the previous week. I believe that selling Salah at the end of the season was the best decision because Liverpool needed the extra money to buy new players and a coach after klopp has announced to step down as liverpool coach to enjoy his life again.
Salah's sale to the Saudi Pro League club will generate a lot of income for Liverpool to add it into the additional budget to rebuild the club under the new coach at the end of season. I've heard that Saudi clubs aren't randomly targeting players this time and the clubs will not be pricing them crazily like what happened last season. The club must ensure that the money is spent wisely by quickly acquiring the most effective players from european competition in order to increase the popularity from the league.
Things are about to change drastically for Salah once Klopp leaves the club due to Liverpool's decision to rebrand the club. There will be a new coach in the future, and I am confident that Liverpool intends to sell Salah to the Saudi club.

Salah has been a quality player for Liverpool, he's still got a year additional before the expiration of his contract with the team and his impacts in the past have not stopped speaking for him, the time he has left in the team would still be enough for him to do what he knows how to do best. Salah's decision at the conclusion of his time with Liverpool would definitely be essential in his career growth. He's done his best for the club and it's just good enough that he stretches his net to see how much fish could be caught from other teams.

There are variety of options he can pick from but career wise, the best would him joining the SPL, I'm certain that the SPL themselves wont hesitate to press on for him. He's the type of player they need for the league's growth. So the whole SPL decision is just both parties being assets to each other. Salah would join them as a result of the great football impact he'd make and he'll be earning substantial enough to keep him through till his final football days. First twas Mane and soon Salah, Liverpool would have to find a very big alternative. But do you think Salah's exit would make a negative difference on the team? It's seeming like it though but it'll be fun to watch a Liverpool void of Salah on the pitch too. Salah's has had a lot of big impacts to Liverpool team and it's definitely so hard to let him off the club.

They still see his inert potentials and still want to keep him with them to explore more fun with the team. I don't know of Salah's decision but I admit that he's also enjoying his time at the club and if time and age will permit he still would want to stick to the team. Although experience is the best teacher. Yes he's had a lot of experiences from the teams he's been at up till now, so it's very much likely that SPL would have eyes on him to give him their style of experience.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 09, 2024, 08:38:11 PM

Of all the big La Liga teams that play in the Copa Del Rey only Bilbao is able to survive and go to the final, while other teams that we expect such as Barcelona, Madrid and Atletico actually have to be eliminated sooner than we thought, yes Bilbao has all the advantages to win the final match, because indeed Mallorca in particular of course has never been favored to reach and even win the Copa del Rey championship trophy,  It was quite surprising for Mallorca to reach the final, especially their success in beating Girona at that time was really beyond my prediction because Girona is the most surprising team in La Liga and also the Copa Del Rey.

In that game Bilbao did have to work hard and even throughout the game they were able to get tremendous pressure from Mallorca, when I saw the game, I thought that Bilbao would lose but fortunately they were able to win the game on penalties.
After getting the trophy of course they now have high motivation to face the remaining matches and of course this triggers a tight competition in the Champions League zone at this time, I think the target of qualifying for the Champions League is a realistic target for them because indeed they have secured Europa League tickets at this time through the Copa del Rey champion path.
In a few recent games, Bilbao have been able to show strength and charisma to winning games. They've safely been tagged underrated and not really focused on but looking deep, they're making waves. Even their betting odds would speak for them. They are a team practically growing into a La Liga threat club. They've had competitive games and ensured they kept up their pace making the result of the game be either to their favour or a fair draw. Girona and Vallecano are a testament of the fact.

It's good how Spanish teams are starting to face the uprising of the beat and live through letting just 3 teams be the talk about of the league. Currently the likes of Girona,  Real Sociedad too and definitely Bilbao are outshining in their deeds and it's amazing to watch how football has become even more interesting this season in the Spanish league. For Mallorca, they're a competitive side, resilient and relentless too. It's amazing to watch them so far this season.

They're definitely underrated regardless of the fact they've not really had good number of victories, they've definitely put up a tough battle for teams and it's something to be impressed about.
They did well in their games against the big teams in the league and yes being below on the league table standings is not really a determinant as to how good a team can actually be. It's just a matter of being unlucky though. I believe they've in their games so far learnt useful lessons that will always be a point to watch ahead of every subsequent encounters.

Sporting 2-1 Benfica

It seems to me that the season ended badly for Benfica, Sporting's next games will only have one strong opponent, which is Porto, and with this big difference in points that exists with Benfica, it seems to me that the season is already over for Benfica, I doubt it. so much so that in the remaining 7 games that Sporting will play they lose in 1 game and draw in one, they would have to lose in 1 game and draw 1 against Benfica if they win in all the remaining games to become champions, but Benfica's bad luck could get worse If Sporting wins the missing game they have, unfortunately all paths point to Sporting as champions. I understand that it's normal for some teams to lose and others to win, it's part of the game, but the problem in my opinion is that Benfica has been a team that has a lot of difficulties beating big teams.

With this coach and this squad, I don't see Benfica achieving great things in European competitions this season and next season, when Benfica had that bad performance in the group stage of the European Champions League, it was clear that Benfica were weak and honestly It would be hard for Benfica to become champions when every time they play against a strong team they lose, Benfica's next game will be a European League game against a weak opponent, I hope Benfica at least manages to win in both legs and not embarrass themselves.

Braga 0 - 3 Arouca

I confess that I am surprised by this result, I expected that this game would be balanced and that Braga would be able to win the game, but it was a game that Arouca dominated in the sense that they had many chances to score a goal, only in the 1 half Arouca they had more than 3 chances and managed to score 2 goals in the 1 half while Braga only had 1 chance to score a goal in the 1 half and failed to score a goal in the 1 half, the difference between these two teams in the 1 half was clear. In the 2nd half, Braga started to put more pressure on Arouca and dominated the second half, but they were unable to score a goal, it's funny that they caused a lot of danger to Arouca's defense, which meant that Arouca had little chance of causing danger to Braga's defense. , but even so, Arouca managed to score the third goal

The Portuguese league have teams with higher impacts in the league games and European contests too. Benfica, Sporting, Porto are most impactful in this regard. Porto are doing well in the league and also have good performance records in the UCL too even though they weren't able to keep up with their good performance in their last league game which wasn't so acceptable. Same scenerio applies for Benfica and Sporting who's got their own record in the European cups too.

Benfica have been doing well at securing the three points in most of their games with good goal margins. It only shows how set they are for the task put before them. Although a lesser performance isn't expected from them. Sporting are very much impactful in their games and Benfica too, the league seems less competitive as these teams unendingly saves the day for themselves and one would really wish there can be improvement as we'd love to see more clubs rising up to the contest before them and holding onto it fully.

The league seems less competitive though as there are still weeks left and just these 3teams are trying to make good wave in the league. Over the years it's still these three that have been the most talked about because of the feats they've attained. One would be so sure to bet on these teams and their ability to keep progressing in points in their league games.

Braga although have been a good team though, but they've incurred some losses too and lost but the 3points fairly in their last game. They were a better side and they were also the hosts too. Their game play didn't work well in their favor. Sadly they weren't able to keep a clean sheet and still had to bear 3goal margin from their visitors.
