541  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 04, 2020, 03:48:08 PM
If there is a sign of second wave then it is nit going to be restricted into a border, the whole world might face the second wave of corona and for sure it is going to affect the economy once it hit the range which forces the government to lockdown the country with no choice.Especially the festive season is coming in a month which is going to trigger the second wave sooner.

Probably they can survive that, if they survived the first, they can still overcome it. We all know most of the countries in Europe do have a good state of economy compared to those countries which are under developed.

I think they will experience struggle but they will overcome it easily.

Covid-19 is getting weaker nowadays, I don't know how and I don't know why, I just feel it.

Here in our country, although our economy is not that good and the governments are irresponsible to take some actions regarding this pandemic. They have a confident mindset that Covid-19 is really weak, that's why most of the businesses here are operating slowly, day by day, so that we can somehow control the economic crisis.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Say Bitcoin is scam on: November 04, 2020, 03:16:28 PM
Even in the worst case scenario, I don't think it will fall to the point of disappearing easily, as there will be a large group of fans who believe in bitcoin

I don't think that bitcoin will be eliminated easily even if it is a scam, many people will still be fooled by it.

But we are blessed that bitcoin is not a fraud, it is not a scam, we are really benefiting its advantages in the market. Many people are getting successful on investing to it although it is volatile in the market. I just can't imagine if this bitcoin is a scam because it has a lot of potential to become the best and the most used cryptocurrency in the world.
543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile wallet for newbies? on: November 04, 2020, 02:45:51 PM
I know that most of the people here are using Coinbase which is what I'm also using.

It is a user-friendly platform that everyone can use when they are looking for a trusted and quality wallet for their assets. Many bitcoin investors are using this wallet and don't hesitate to try it because it has a lot of features where you will feel security and comfort on all your bitcoin.

It offers a lot of cryptocurrency that you might use, not only bitcoin.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 03, 2020, 08:40:46 AM
If there is no compelling reason to spend BTC when the price continues to increase, then don't do it.
But if it's about your daily needs, you don't have to spend BTC all at once, right? Just spend the daily profit and keep the BTC worth of initial capital or a little higher than that so as not to miss the train on the next ATH.

Self-discipline is what we need to enhance, and this Covid-19 is the right time to practice it, especially that we are not making some bitcoin transaction these days.

I know that bitcoin is still not in a mainstream, we need to accept that, but if we do our best to tell others that bitcoin is the right investment to help us amidst this pandemic, then we can make Bitcoin community grow larger. Never spend if you don't need it necessarily because you know that bitcoin is volatile in the market and to avoid regrets, just hold it and wait for the ATH.
545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merits? on: November 03, 2020, 05:07:31 AM
You can send merit to anyone you want to send it to as long as you have sendable merits. To have smerits (sendable merits), you must received merits first. Each merit received will give you 0.5 smerits. So, as what you have search about how to earn merits is one of the way to earn merits.

547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Humility is not Stupidity on: November 01, 2020, 08:41:06 PM
It is never a form of stupidity, humility is just a good thing to do all the time.

When you think that someone deserves that humility, do it. It is not a form of strengthening your pride, it is what you called understanding the situation. Being humble all the time and have the willingness or urge to learn is not a stupidity, it is a way where you don't want to offend someone. It is a way to show having a lowkey personality in any circumstances.
548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin us used mostly where? on: October 31, 2020, 03:24:33 PM
Based on my experience, I used bitcoin mostly as an asset then wait for it to become profitable for me. Sometimes, I also use it as a payment tool in when I pay my groceries in a supermarket near us. There are BTC ATMs in some part of the world which is good because people can now use it for their daily lives. Just like in Africa, I've read an article that there is a bitcoin ATMs in Africa which is a good adoption for them. Bitcoin is also a sign of economic development that can contribute the countries economy positively.

549  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran accepting cryptocurrencies to avoid US Dollar on: October 31, 2020, 02:13:54 PM
Another one example that countries in trouble needs crypto the most

So in other words, cryptocurrency is the hope of all countries who are struggling with their economy.

This is an another example of a good cryptocurrency adoption, a country engaging or accepting cryptocurrency has a lot of things to face in terms of economy.

Cryptocurrency has a lot of potential to become the key to fight inflation and economic crisis that the government is struggling about.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: October 31, 2020, 11:08:44 AM
But in life, we need to invest, so therefore, bitcoin can make us successful and it can be the answer to our prayers.

You just need to consider its features, its decentralized nature, volatility, and complexity in the market. It is not only for investment purposes, it can also be a payment tool that you can use in a transactions that you are going to perform. Bitcoin is powerful nowadays, it can be in lined with fiat and it can be better with fiat soon.

Although bitcoin do lack a lot of features just like fiat, it has surely a lot of potential to become the world's currency.

551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make your choice now! on: October 30, 2020, 07:54:25 AM
You can do it both with the use of time management, you should know what to prioritize.

There's a lot of things that you can do to balance investment and working for your country. Serving your country should be your no.1 priority and that's your value in your country. There's a lot of time for you to become busy with your investment and cryptocurrency has a lot of opportunity so it is better for you if you do them both.
552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginning with Crypto on: October 30, 2020, 05:21:47 AM
Training using a demo account is the same as using a rubber woman for lovemaking. In a real situation, and especially if you will trade using large amounts of money, everything will not be quite the same as when you train with a demo account. For this reason, I would advise you to train with small amounts rather than using a demo account. Train in reality, but limit yourself to, for example, the size of the deposit - no more than $ 20-50.

That's a good analogy, it is accurate and direct to the point.

You need to use a demo account in order for you to know how trading works, so that you will not be shocked when you are in a real situation. Sometimes, the reason why newbies are losing a lot of money is because they engaged in trading without even learning how to do it. It is not only a training, it is about learning how to adapt depending on the market situation. Once you know how it works, you can now trade freely with knowing how to deal with risks.
553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is not for the weak on: October 30, 2020, 04:21:17 AM
Not true, there aren't weak people or whatsoever you like it to call but there are only people aren't interested to join in cryptocurrency.

Weak people that the OP are talking about are those who are not courageous to invest in cryptocurrency.

Uninterested people is very different from weak people, because they knew what crypto is, how it works, and its benefits but they are not interested or they think that it is a waste of time.

We have nothing to do with them if they chose not to invest on cryptocurrency, but those weak people can be encourage to invest on it. Don't say that bitcoin is not for the weak, bitcoin is free for all who wants to invest on it and it takes a lot of time for it to learned and studied. It takes a matter of time in order for you to know how determined you are in growing your cryptocurrency in the market.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 29, 2020, 05:20:49 PM
I also knew someone, a friend, that has the same situation just like you. He also regretted engaging in cryptocurrency before and now he's doing fine and working so hard with his bitcoin investment. When you missed an opportunity, just make sure that you will do your best to do it in a different way. If there's a will, there's a way they said, so always don't waste the opportunity if you think that it is worthy to spend your time with. In order for you to avoid regrets, seize the moment, and take the risks because you will never learn if you will priority your fear above else.
555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Motivation on: October 29, 2020, 01:17:18 PM
Research is one of the most important thing to do before you engage on something that you are interested with.

Learning how a certain thing works can help you become good at it.

For example, here in this forum, before you share a lot of things regarding a certain topic, you need to have a references to prove your point. Also when you do some research, don't forget to cite it when you want to put it in your posts. Being knowledgeable and smart towards a certain topic can help you prove your thoughts freely without struggle.
556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hit 1500 earned merits so far. on: October 29, 2020, 11:54:51 AM
Congratulation to your achievement here in our forum. That 1500 merits are not a joke and it is really not that easy to achieve.

That's a lot of patience, hard-work, dedication, and effort before you get that and let this served to be a motivation and inspiration to other users. 557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still usable after 10 years? Does it still have same benefits? on: October 28, 2020, 05:33:56 AM
That's the downside of Bitcoin for the past years. When the network is clogged with a lot of pending transactions you really need to increase your fee or else it might take a longer time for your transaction to be broadcast and confirmed. If you are not in a hurry then you don't mind paying the minimal fee and wait until it is processed. But if your transaction cannot take a lot of waiting time, you will be forced to pay high fees. That makes transactions of Bitcoin good only when involving large amounts. I hope the future will be better to boost adoption.

Higher transaction fees will surely be always present when you make bitcoin transactions and it is not new to us even if we do it for the next upcoming years.

We need to accept the fact that bitcoin is pain in the ass when we make transactions with it when there's a lot in a queue.

Probably in 10 years, bitcoin will become much more wider due to a progressive adoption in that span of years. We just need to be optimistic about it and aim for a gold and success. Also, patience in transaction is necessary and be disciplined investor.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto address us? on: October 28, 2020, 04:52:38 AM
I don't know what kind of assurance these worried people want. Yes, the future of bitcoin is unknown but the negative thing won't likely to happen given the current strong support on bitcoin by the community that built over years.

That will not support us in making bitcoin our future, we need answers.

Although we are already investing on bitcoin, we still need to have a way or perception towards future. The bitcoin community are just seizing the opportunity because bitcoin has a lot of potential, and in order to manipulate bitcoin properly, Satoshi should really inform us about his point of view and mission about bitcoin. Bitcoin is very volatile and we need to overcome and deal with it for so many years. However, we just need to be patient and act depending on the situation in the market.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 28, 2020, 04:01:25 AM
For the title it is not pandemic that push the world to digital age but the world was already operating as digital age before covid-19. We are in the digital age already, the pandemic because one of its factors of prevention is to avoid physical contact which fiat was found to be contractor, therefore cryptocurrency became the safe heaven for use

For me, I think you're wrong in some points. It is the pandemic that really pushes as to engage more in a digital age.

Most of us are staying inside our home for several months due to the risk of getting the virus outside. People are seeking jobs online and they are finding something profitable for them while staying at home and that makes us to consume a lot of electricity and spend a lot of time using our gadgets and devices.

So this pandemic really urge us to use most of the digital things that we can benefit, especially digital currencies for transactions and payments.
560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Focus on your goal. on: October 27, 2020, 02:18:55 PM
If you don't have focus, then all of the things that you are doing are nonsense.

Focus and dedication is what we need to have here in this forum, we don't work for ourselves only, but for other user here that wants to grow also.

Newbies are too greedy to have merit and they're just making post that is not deserving for a merit but still asks for it. If you are truly deserving to have a higher rank in this forum then it will come to you automatically. You don't need to aim on that, earning merits is not that easy so you need to work on it by making more informative posts and sharing your knowledge and thoughts towards a certain topic.
