Another happy customer heard from in your trust rating:

wuzamarine

Reference   Don't do business with this person. He has more published complaints than anyone on this form. He will say hello to you to sell his product and then you will never hear from him again.
I sent money to this con artist back in Nov 2013. It's now Feb 2nd and I have NOTHING.
You can forget getting any updates.
His site is completely jacked and he's just an all around poor businessman.
I will never do business with this fool again.

Launch it on twitter, everyone interested is following anyway. If twitter can take daily abuse from teens posting crap surely it can take couple of miners.

Or FACEBOOK!

If you ask for cables before the ones I have are sold out, then yep you can get some.

The boards are designed to hold 4 cables per board without any issue.

If you can find the 8-pin ends and they're not all sorts of expensive, we'll start making them. As it is, I can't find the 8-pin ends, or the +2 ends (what would make a 6+2 cable) with the right keying so we don't have any. It's fairly frustrating.

You can get adapters for $5

http://www.epartsandmore.com/pci-express-6-pin-to-110-prd1.htm?pSearchQueryId=80878

I just ordered some

Questions:

You can put 4 cables safely on each?  (6 pin PCI)

How about 8 Pin PCI cables?

3 btc, shipping to Canada

You should take that offer!!

550  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} Jalapeno review on TigerDirect.com on: February 05, 2014, 03:46:07 AM
To my knowledge there is no other of the shelf miner with all the end-costumer requirements (housing, shiny box, manual, psu etc) available...

There should be one.

Yes there are, quite a few.How about all the USB miners, low hashrate, but they are self contained except for the USB hub.Fairly easy to setup & mine with.

BFL's miners would be great...if it weren't for the DELAYS,go ahead & order one right now, post back here when it arrives  Cheesy

& the power brick failures,& lack of customer support  Shocked

Also,if customers don't do their RESEARCH on stuff they buy, like how to use an item or power efficiency or cost effectiveness (IE:$ per GH),who's gonna do that for them Huh BFL Huh

Before I buy a part for ANY PC I build,I RESEARCH ALL the parts for compatibility,cost,performance,etc..........

Same with cars,motorcycles,boats,household appliances,anything.

Are BFL products FCC, EC and ETL approved? Nope.

Did you inquire with Tiger if this product met these requirements for sale in the U.S.?
551  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} Butterfly Labs will give their customers a FREEEEEE "Monarch" on: February 04, 2014, 10:46:49 PM

The sad part about this is that you try so hard to prevent people from 'making the same mistake' you did, yet you go so over the top that you actually end up promoting the company instead of hindering it.  Your keep the BFL name right up there are the top for all to see, and the average person who reads it will basically roll their eyes at the rabid posts by all the Butthurt Fairy Lads who feel it is their civic duty to point out every little mistake as if it were a crime against God.

Caveat Emptor is all that needs to be said, in truth about ALL asic companies, but there are fools out there who seem to think they can still strike it rich.  It's the California Gold Rush all over again, and the guy selling shovels is the only smart one in the bunch.

No such thing as bad advertising right BCP?

I'd have to disagree.

Scryptmining is still lucrative! Grin

I've made more with that, trading it up to BTC< than bitcoin machines alone.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

What is the most plausible theory for more than two months of silence re Neptune despite apparent discontent of customers?
Here is my speculation on possibilities (from the most probable #1 to almost impossible #5):
1. They are experiencing significant difficulties with Neptune design and want to overcome those problems before updating.
2. They are positioning to change their business model from selling individual units to the "fair shake" cloudhashing model, where customers will be buying slots in the icelandic super-mine managed by KnC. Everyone who ordered Neptune would be offered a slot with a modest increase in hashing power (to 3.5-4TH), but will have to pay extra for "hosting".
3. They were bought by someone or majority bought by a third party (perhaps even by a government-controlled entity).
4. They were bought/invested into by 21e6 (or merged with 21e6). Alternatively, they were supplying Jupiters to a single unknown party (cloudhashing?).
5. They are resting on their prior success and "taking it easy".

1. No
2. Perhaps
3. No
4. No
5. No

It may not be outside the realm of possibilities that they have other projects they are working on?
JOE hit nail on the head.

 Grin

insider?
mind reader?
master spy?
or just plain smart?

from everything I have seen, the bolded meets Occams razor...

Well I am not a spy and if I was a mind reader then I wouldn't be using my powers here that's for sure.

Bitcoinorama has been online at least 4 times since the news broke and is online right now. You can expect answers to your questions straight away!

Don't expect that, frankly he is a great guy but the people he works for are NOT sharing EVERYTHING with him so we should collectively give him a break and not kill the messenger (or lack thereof)
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 04, 2014, 08:08:09 PM

My take is somewhat slightly different. Congratulations all KNC customers you have successfully financed one of the largest private bitcoin mining operations in the world.

Wise this newbie is!

Whats really annoying is they did not say whether they would sell upgrades and I have asked on their forum right in the middle of an active discussion and KNC stopped responding.

Also replied to the Newsletter, to sales and to Orama.

<crickets>

You do realize they are in Swedish time and the last post form Kurt was at 5:11pm and you first posted your question at 5:44pm?  And again at 8:31pm and 8:55pm...   They are being good parents if they continue to ignore you tomorrow.

you sir have a very valid point!
