541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Confessions on: January 10, 2024, 07:07:15 AM
I just came across this Twitter handle and found it pretty relevant and entertaining. You might too: https://twitter.com/coinfessions

Feel free to comment if something hits you right in the feels and you feel like commenting upon It; it surprises me how relevant some of confessions were to me, and how we are all pretty much same.
Yeah Im seeing that post by CryptoConfessions. Lucky him able to meet those who tell their stories. But sometimrs we dont know if the one told us is really a story of his life experience or crypto epic gig or some sort of made up stories. But good thing that theres a platform like that or account that voice out others regret or successful activity on crypto.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Master node Experience - worth it? on: January 10, 2024, 04:02:18 AM
Reading a lot about masternodes of a bunch of different coins.
Interested in setting some up as a test on a VM.
 - Anybody have much experience with them?
- How many do you think you can run on 1 machine.
- worth the trouble?

Seems like there is some decent info out there, but do you see some return on the work?
Im also quite interested with this topic. Not yet trying out master node or running nodes but its one of my goal this year to be able to cope and learn to do that as they say that most of the privilege and potential incomes are come from testing and doing node runners. Like some tokens and coins of celestia and other major coins in the past. Maybe its out of my line too but I am willing to learn to OP.

Am I on right inquiry? Or same topic about nodes?
543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Historical Coinmarketcap: ranking of all cryptos at any time from the past on: January 10, 2024, 03:11:14 AM
This page should serve as a warning to not “invest” in the low level alts as most of the alts from 2013 and mid 2014 aren’t even in existence anymore, to my knowledge.

Unless the altcoin you are investing in is implementing some new technology that is an improvement on what existing coins offer, it is probably best to stay away.
Probably they wont do that as they only deemed showed are historical figures but if they will have that feature then much better. I guess thats leave to users due diligence either he will invest or not as info like this already existed and make much sense to those figures.

Old projects can sometime create new or subproject for that tech alone thats why this space is too much saturated with based dev who literally will do anything to farm users.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 09, 2024, 04:27:04 AM
Like I said in my previous post, if you're a big believer of Binance, and you're holding a huge amount of BNB then using it to get free money through these launchpools would be the best option. In my case, I'm not holding any BNB at all, and I'm not thinking of holding it, or any exchange tokens for the long term.
Well indeed I am. I like the system of bnb on their launchpad and launchpool and my budget for that launchpool since then were fairly compendated I could say I almost got my bnb if I were to sum up all those Ive joined in the past. But I am also doing others aside from this like airdrop farming and cosmos ecosystem staking for airdrops eligibility. Its up to each person to try their chosen field of investment. But I could say Binance has been a great of help for me so why not supported it and I beleieved a lot of people benefited to it that much especially in our country right.

If theres no launchpool or launchpad guys. You could supply your bnb for the meantime on Kinza finance its a Binance backed project. I have a code for referral if you are interested just bind it and youll get 10% points of what you will supply. You can dm me if you are interested cant post such ref link here I guess.
545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: More reason you should protect your privacy and anonymity as a Bitcoin holder. on: January 09, 2024, 03:30:00 AM
Anonymity is no longer guaranteed, as our data is now in the hands of the government. Despite the government's right to inquire about personal financial matters, their overzealous actions towards Bitcoin holders and investors have raised concerns. To avoid unnecessary drama, staying anonymous and protecting your privacy is crucial within the Bitcoin community. Wise consideration of the reasons behind privacy and anonymity in Bitcoin is essential for every one, including the newbies who thinks they have nothing to loss.
Well mixers are banned here probably soon it will be done to main action on these platforms. Its getting tougher to remain anonymous if we dont put that to work. I mean most people or into crypto trading are oblige to do KYC already especially on Binance and other major exchanges. Is there a known info or data that provides such anonymity tally or percrntage whose users arent yet dox completely?
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decred scandal? Project Founder owns more than 2M DCR coins on: January 08, 2024, 12:45:01 PM
The lesson is there will be no decentralized coin after BTC, because of pre-mine, stealth-mine, ICO, etc.
Probably right but thats the norm already for upcoming and new projects. No one would do what Satoshi did that give every coins to the community or unless someone develope soemthing that no plans to earn from it but is there a guy like that anymore? Purely for community only? I doubt it.

This decred coin is worst even up to now its being bombarded with issues on their social and groups.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming DEX are you looking at in 2024? on: January 08, 2024, 09:15:48 AM
I mean a DEX in building phase that can become big and useful in 2024.

Dojoswap platform. They are a dedicated one for injective ecosystem. Its not like its active for every tokrn but thats how it works on L1 battles. Its gonna be a king on the inj eco as they are the one will put up a lot of staked. There are other platform lives but of course you wanna be on a good first one if you wanna take profits from it right?

Other good dexes are on different ecosystem but this is the one Ive found that is good.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto community make sure Logan Paul pay the price for his scam on: January 08, 2024, 07:59:02 AM
YouTuber and social media influencer Logan Paul is set to refund certain disgruntled investors of his once ambitious CryptoZoo nonfungible token (NFT) game — a year after he promised NFT buyers recourse.
Well being sued is tragic and surely he will definitely do something on the part he messed up. He dont want to be labeled as scammers so clearly he will patch this thing for good or else maybe his career will go to an end he dont wanna happened. Most people could say he is just using his fame but if he really wanna stay with the game then better to do what is right.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain vs Platform vs Chain on: January 08, 2024, 05:58:35 AM
Are there multiple Blockchains?
If so, can you name a few of the famous ones, and where I'd find a list of all of them?
Yes there are tons of blockchain or network among crytpocurrencies. Bitcoin blockchain, ethereum chain, binance smart chain, xrp blockchain, solana and many more. You can use some platform such as coinmarketcap and coingecko to check that.

When people refer to a platform behind a token, are they referring to the Blockchain, or is a Platform a different thing to a platform?
How are they related?
Can you name a few?
No a platform is just a standout website that operates that project. Its not necessary to have their own chain hence could use other blockchain that offer smart contract application to work on their platform.

Example is pancakeswap that uses binance smartchain and also uniswap that relies on ethereum network.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Particle Network Inscriptions on: January 08, 2024, 03:26:16 AM
Ive seen this event few days back like a day or a two before it ends and able to join for few inscriptions. Has anyone doing this? If Im able to do so early maybe I get some more. Now that they release their announcement of all 21billion ally inscriptions has minted Im wondering what next to this project.

Ive seen they are fully backef and partner with almost 50 projects on altcoins and all are major ones with new ones.

https://twitter.com/ParticleNtwrk/status/1744129782630252991?t=ibBj3ksUSs80NGV2sHHXXA&s=19

Im curious if anyone also done this and whats your thought?
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether minted more USDT. on: January 07, 2024, 12:30:30 PM
I do see so many red flags for using Tether but it is still the most used stablecoin in the crypto ecosystem, which confuses me.
Well it did useful actually. You can even bring that using your non custodial wallet and go anywhere without being noticed. Imagine you have a $1million traveling and using stabelcoin usdt as your budget for travel. No one would ever notice it. Thats how efficiency crypto sometimes its quite dangerous too.
552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie, be careful of the Bitcoin information you process on: January 07, 2024, 05:57:20 AM
In conclusion, it's very important that we gather enough information by making our own research and also learning from others especially in a community like BTT. let's not be too quick to jumping into conclusion especially in topics that we are not familiar with. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Well theres a saying a lot of talks out there arent real. If you have found some information its quite natural that tou verified it first cause even the one who said it is even the President of the United States sometimes its not credible or maybe the one that tells that got hacked or whatever. Bitcoin has a lot of resources and you could check it yourself whether the data or info is indeed correct.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 07, 2024, 05:02:25 AM
Probably they are doing this to replenish their losses quickly and boost their reputation when CZ departed and pay fine on his case. I once a farmer on this launchpool during Litentry and Alice but the profit is not that good unless you have enough BNB to get more allocation.

I still preferred joining on launchpad outside Binance because most of the startup project usually results to x2 minimum once you manage to get a ticket for the token sale.
Im not sure though maybe it is. But doing this is also good for the community and they acquired new tokens that could do some major movement on upcomung bull run.

Me too, I only have bnb thats why I keep participating on the launchpool. I am also joining other launchpad cause its not that saturated. I am an active participant on avalaunch idos on avalanche network. So they release new set of idos not comparable to binance but thinking how they perform last time was great result.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: January 07, 2024, 04:24:13 AM
When I looked at JTO at https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/jito, he had a total daily volume of 212 million dollars, and it was really big. It was divided into 5 exchanges, and the one with the highest volume was Binance, which had around 98 million dollars in more than one day.

And I think it's also pretty good to hold this upcoming bull, in my opinion, because it's the first time it will face this season, and it can probably keep up with the top altcoins in the market as well, which I don't think will also leave.
Well still up to you. Jto tokens are good due to community support via airdrop and its really good to see that it panned out favoring the solana but you should take a deeper reseaech on what they can offer in the long term so that you could see if the investment is good for long term. Its a top notch project on solana who knows what else they can do in the upcoming years.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 06, 2024, 03:13:51 PM
You are right that profit is relative, from the capital strategy and goals in trading, also the variety of coins that are accumulated are not always bnb like me, I regret not buying bnb from the beginning, maybe in 2019 I can buy more even if only $100 Cheesy
Well still applicable indeed if you earned from other coins and got some profit we cant wait for it to go back to $4 to $10 anymore as its done with that low level. So only we can dobis add some bags with it as time goes on. Little by little we can feel a good farm on those launchpool. Even so, there still time anyway.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether minted more USDT. on: January 06, 2024, 12:30:25 PM
Its not like new headlines but thus has been happening eversince. Most people didnt aware of the unli lint function of tether, its fine as lonh ad thry backed it with real asset however this has been the major issue that needs to address since then cause some says they dont equate their real asset with this minting. Scary enough but using usdt is only good for trading not for holding.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone just sent 26 BTC to genesis block address on: January 06, 2024, 11:02:33 AM
Well if this is true then anythings possible. Those ordinal guys or developers are really have ablot of funds to make this scheme and probabll will do another hype thing around that 26 bitcoin sent. Somehow I began to think that they are sending a message about what they did. Pretty sure its not an error as the guy sent from Binance is probably aware of what he is doing. He targeted Satoshi Address for a reason.
558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does inactive users deserve merits? on: January 06, 2024, 06:39:33 AM
There have been some good and quality posts that I've come across why navigating through the forum and I found out that some of the users have been inactive for a very long time but the posts they've made deserved merit, so is it advisable to merit the post(s) of a user(s) that have been inactive for a long interval of time considering the fact that they made Meritable posts?
I dont think the period of hybernation is important or matter when someone posted a good one. The readers dont often check first whether he is active or not but just actually reading the post they wanna merit. Am I right with the assumption? Of course we cant deny that some are probably bought account that suddenly become alive but who knows they just rest for a while and come back now.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 06, 2024, 03:50:26 AM
OP, Binance is still an influential driver in the launch of new projects, that when someone enters there even if only briefly, the increase is different, it is too risky if the capital is small, I think it is more flexible to do bnb first, binance is a market I think if the developer of a coin is brave and willing to spend money, binance will accept Grin even ai and other computing coins can also enter.
Apparently is quite hard to enter Binance exchange. So I can say the process isnt that simple as many projects dying to be listed there. As far as I can tell, most projects that are listed came from Binance Labs their investment umbrella firm. But not all, cause like the latest one, Xai Games which not under them got a chance to be on the pool. Probably depends on the project and deal with them. For small holder might not apolicable for this but for some with good amount surely they are happy with profits.
560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am very interested to work on it on: January 05, 2024, 01:09:53 PM
My name is Humayun.  I live in Enayetpur.  I have four members in my family.  I am my sister my father and my mother.  I am struggling to buy a phone.  I found this link very hard.  I would love to work on it.  Someone teach me, I am a very poor boy.  It would be very beneficial for me to do so.  I am studying in Class Nine now I am in Ten. I know a lot about Bitcoin.
Wow very bright for your age. But if you wanna buy a phone then ask your parents to buy one for you in case they dont have the money then work for it cause you seems like a diligent guy who wanted to help out your family. Maybe try out to learn online how to earn bitcoin or crypto but as a newbie you must not focus on earnjng if you plan to linger here cause its not a job site more like a discussion place though there are some ways to earn here.
