541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 19, 2017, 12:04:20 PM
9.7 gave my 1070 card good boost: from 29 MH/s to 30 MH/s, or from 146 to 151 MH/s at the same OC settings.
Yes, but what is your power consumption ? 100/115 W or 150 W (standard) ?
I am also with the 9.7 version of Claymore.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ShadowToken for the highly rated Shadow Era TCG on: July 19, 2017, 12:03:04 PM
This is a very good project, I will support this project with a signature campaign, Do we have to be registered in the game to follow bounty ,,?

Bounty tokens will be awarded to your Waves account, no need to have a game account.

And token holders don't need to have a game account to get profit share in Waves or to vote on development direction. If you play the game though, linking your game account to your tokens will give you a lot of in-game benefits. You can see the website http://shadowtoken.io for more details

Community forums are at http://www.shadowera.com/forum.php

The anteriority of the game is a serious guarantee about the project.
The gamers community is a solid base for the future of this project and the interaction between the gamers and the token owner will be very interesting to study in near future.
For example if an in-game advantage for the token owner became very popular, the token can rise a lot.

544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 19, 2017, 11:38:13 AM

Your 25.4 mh/s is very high for a simple GTX 1060 6 GB.
It is approx what I have with my GTX 1070...

Double check your settings. 1070 should be close to 30 even without severe overclocking. On my 970's I get 22-23 Mh/s and cards are cold (<60C).
I forgot to tell the power consumption of all my 1070s are limited to they minimum (100 W for 2 and 115 W for 2 others).
But even with these low consumptions (for GTX 1070), my ratio hashrate/consumption is under this example with 1060.
I can't use AfterBurner because I'm with Linux (but I can overclock a little bit inside the driver)
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 19, 2017, 11:33:21 AM
Any evga 1060 ftw or sc user can share their setting ? I can't pass 24.5 Mh/s

I have an 8 card rig of EVGA 06G-P4-6161-KR GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (single fan), since Claymore 9.7 I´m getting a max hash of 25,4mh/s per card (solo eth mining).

My settings:
Power Limit: 65%
Temp Limit: 63 Cº
Core Clock: 145 Mhz
Memory Clock: 1000 Mhz
Fan: 90%

This whole rig pulls 700w. Cards temp is between 55ºC - 62ºC. Running stable 11 days now with abnove settings.

Hope it helps

What do you chooe 90% for the fan : it is very high. Because there is only one fan in your 1060 ? With 2 fans, you would choose the same setting, 90 % ?

Yes 90% fan speed is due to the single fan. I have another AMD rig with dual fans on the cards, and these run at 55% speed, the more fans the less fan speed required, and the less noise you  will have.
1070s should reach 29mh/s if I remember correctly.
Thanks for the reply about single/double fan : it's interesting to know.

547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer S9 or 4nvidia cards? on: July 19, 2017, 09:29:39 AM
If i were to buy this antminer, i could set it up at my office with no charge of electricity. But how much data would this pull out of the internet speed? i would like to mine litecoins, how long would it take to get back the investement cost? 6 months?
The internet data transfert is very few : don't worry about that.

But you can't mine LiteCoin with a AntMiner S9 : it is a specialized ASIC, only for Bitcoin.

To reply to your title question : 4 nVidia cards, but not for Bitcoin or LiteCoin, but one or several altcoins to choose as you want.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What should be the plan after ETH mining dies ? on: July 19, 2017, 09:18:27 AM
Hello,

Nearly all the topics mention about the end of eth mining in a very short time. What is your strategy after eth mining dies ? Which coins you will be targeting ? I am also mining eth but would like to hear your ideas about what to do after eth ?

Many people talk about switching to Zcash but it will be the same thing if every eth miner switch to zcash . So is it best to mine underrated coins or what ? Please help a newbie to decide what to do =)

Thanks.
What do you says "about the end of ETH mining" ?

Because the PoS with ETH : it will never come.

Because the poor performance of AMD GPUs with ETH in the near future ?
You're right, but ETH mining will not be ended because AMD GPUs are useless : it is still the nVidia GPUs mining, and without the AMD GPUs hashrate, the nVidia GPUs will earn a lot (lower difficulty).

But, if you only want to switch from ETH mining to an other coin, one more time, it's depends of what GPUs you have.
For example, AMD GPUs can't mine a lot of coin and some very interesting coins.

549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: July 19, 2017, 09:08:20 AM
Hello dev, would like an update please. What has been going on towards development besides once a week distribution? Any progress you guys are doing?

More news and developments will follow once all PBT have been distributed.

I do not like this answer. It is too much open ended. If some people do not add waves address soon it could take months until "all PBT have been distributed". Maybe it is language barrier, but you are not making much faith in project.

Please transfer your PBT to Waves asap if you have not done so already.

You can see the distribution amount here, for example: https://tokendb.oceanlab.eu/distribution.aspx?asset=EdDvbhk4wJ1kL6pMCq1V36GbQE2nGE7Metb87zbaY2JL
When will all the token distributed, even approximatively ?

Until the end of July.
The rest of the funds are transferred to the escrow address.
It's soon.
Thank you for your reply.
550  Local / Annonces / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 19, 2017, 08:26:50 AM

Hello, where the exchanger market for buy and sell PBT token? And how much the price PBT token?
Thank you.

WAVES DEX
For information, last trades, 2 days ago, was at 2 BTC/PBT : it is a lot under the ICO (5 BTC/PBT).

Good for buyers.

yes, agree.. it is a good time to buy because it is more than 50% below the ico price. and once it list on bigger exchange then we can tell that price might be stable or surpass the ico price. just buy and hodl!

It is even cheaper on the waves/pbt side. I think most sales there are happening around 1.6ish btc of waves. But, the volume is tiny so you really cannot base anything on this. I think we should just be patient and see what is to come.
Yes, the volume is very low, tiny.
We cannot conclude any thing about the future of PBT with these trades.
We have to wait a real major exchange.
And, because the project is in the real life, because the ICO was good, I have no doubt about a price over the 5 BTC of the ICO price.

Grrr)

edit (voilà je suis au boulot!): Donc divisé par 12,480 (Nbre de stake) --> 1 481 480 / 12 480 = 118,70 Pillar / Stakes

A token based on a cards game :-).
Project is ambitious and I'm very curious about it.
Will see and promote it.

Oh I heard from a buddy that he was getting this as an airdrop but I didn't realize that you need to be a Sr. Member. That's a shame, time to grow my account!
Why a shame ?
This is a dev choice to protect the distribution from multi-account (I suppose).
And become a Sr. member is not so long : you have until 2019.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 19, 2017, 06:37:35 AM
I think byteball only has two possible outcomes: either massive selloffs happen and development stalls and  byteball settles in at $50-100 as forgotten coin or it moons and hits maybe 0.75 btc/gb or even btc parity and becomes a top 3 crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Byteball).   Thats my humble opinion.
All will depends of the developpment arround the project.
The distrinution of ByteBall is the best (because the larger) I known.
After the end of this distribution, the monthly 20 % bonus will gone and will depends of the real project.

Happy to see Bancor over it's ICO price this morning :-).
Now, the ICO speculators are gone : Bancar can rise very high.
Congratulation to the team and the community : I hold mine.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: July 18, 2017, 10:44:56 PM
Quick Development Updates

From our testing, Zcoin's updated Bitcoin core 0.13 sync speed from scratch is about 6 hours which is a huge improvement. Testing Zerocoin functions at the moment.

Dev team decided that despite the benefits of 0.13, MTP migration will happen first before core upgrade improvements are deployed. The same goes with our libzerocoin upgrades and fixes. This is because MTP has a totally new block header structure so migration from the old block header structure needs some planning and we want to make sure that happens smoothly first before deploying too many fundamental changes especially one as big as Bitcoin core and libzerocoin. Migration to 0.13 will then open the way for deployment of Znodes.

Final MTP patch is in place. Will announce separate MTP bounty (not the same as a MTP miner dev competition) in the next few days to encourage scrutiny into MTP.

Thank you for these good news :-).
Impatient for the final MTP version and Znodes.
Will Bittrex doing the wallet upgrade safetely or it is better to withdraw my ZCoin to my desktop wallet ?
