541  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: September 28, 2019, 09:52:24 PM
It's no secret that many governments and central banks worldwide have paid close attention to the development of Blockchain technology. The same promises to provide lower costs and greater efficiency than traditional systems. Bitcoin's success proves that Blockchain is extremely ideal for finance. Once governments start rolling in their own digital currencies, people could see a reduction in payment processor fees like never before. Not to mention, transactions will become blazing fast within a matter of seconds instead of days.

Which is why, it makes me wonder if the adoption of Blockchain technology for our current monetary system will trigger a massive boost in our economy? After all, Blockchain provides many benefits that are too hard to ignore for central banks and governments worldwide. Everything will be much cheaper and efficient than it used to be with the traditional monetary system of physical Fiat. What are your thoughts? Huh
The Blockchain technology has the potential to change many aspects of our lives and take it to the next level, and not just with banks and governments trying to benefit from it will help the economy but more and more companies trying to adopt it and implement it into their network will improve it, because with more and more companies promoting it and having more investments made into this technology the more it pushes for more competition winch makes the economy active and stronger than what it is today
542  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela's central bank is holding Cryptocurrency! on: September 28, 2019, 08:04:49 PM
If this is real i can't imagine what might come up of this and to be honest this seems an alternative plan to them saving the economy from inflation or a way to save up for what it might be the next world's currency, imagine if they were like holding a large amount of bitcoin and at some point where bitcoin reach 100k they would have a reserve that could change the course of their economy, and the economy is so bad right now that their only solution to fix it is to go completely crypto and scrap their fiat which is worth nothing.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: September 28, 2019, 06:49:10 PM
Any crypto adaptation is always a good thing and it is a step forward especially if we see government officials calling for its legalization, but the think that leads me to believe that they are doing this is taxes, probably a lot or a sizable amount of people in Ukraine use crypto to make their living and therefore they are not paying taxes, and with legalizing it they are trying to make these people pay taxes, and to be honost i don't think that they will be able to as they are unable to track everyone who uses it or it requires a lot of resources, but we just have to wait and see.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 28, 2019, 05:07:41 PM
From an investor's prospective this seems like a safe option to have government regulate bitcoin and monitor it, but from a cryptocurrency prospective this seems like a bad idea, the whole concept that bitcoin and crypto was build on is to escape from the governments and the bank's control which have been controlling every aspect of the financial life , they control how much you have when you can spend it and how you spend it, but with bitcoin that is not the case, besides controlling and regulating the bitcoin transactions is impossible or requires a lot of resources, so that is why governments are still very spectacle  about  banning or accepting it.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASA to Launch Bitcoin to the Moon? on: September 28, 2019, 04:23:53 PM
I don't think that them hiring a crypto and a blockchain expert has anything to do with NASA thinking about using or implementing the cryptocurrency into their system, JPL is a research facility after all they might be just expanding their field and testing the water for the new technology that is blockchain that has the potential to change and improve many fields of our lives, including using it for spacecrafts and the space industry, as for cryptocurrency specifically i think it is too early for that but how knows we might see colonization on mars and when that happens the the cryptocurrency will be a viable option for them.
546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 28, 2019, 03:44:44 PM
If we look at the events that lead to the bitcoin rise back in 2017 and what is happening today we will see a big difference in how things are going and even in how people are thinking and their vision in bitcoin as an investment, back in 2017 all the new people and the new investors that have put their money into it were blinded by its rising value and that was one of the main reasons that made its value going up and that is the constant flow of new people investing in it, until things happend and governments started the regulations and the price and the investments declined , nowadays people are more aware of the risks and won't invest a lot of money into bitcoin like they did and that is one the reason the bitcoin won't reach 20k at least this year, as for next year and one we get close to the halving thing might change and we might see a big spike in the price.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most popular payment methods to buy Bitcoin in 2019 on: September 27, 2019, 04:05:35 PM
When it comes to buying bitcoin i really don't like to use any of the above listed payment methods or any payment method that involves directly or indirectly submitting my personal details, bitcoin for me is all about anonymity and completely keeping you safe and hidden, and using my bank account with my real details and giving them it to them so they can sell them and use them for their liking is not something i am not comfortable with, not to mention that the price is way off and the fees are very high, that is why the best for me is hand to hand p2p exchange which is by far the best and the safest way to do it with no fees.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2019, 12:40:15 PM
SM Entertainment, one of the top entertainment company in Sout Korea is planning on making its own blockchain network.

Due to the shareholder revolt and a falling stock price of the company they wanted to create this, in order for the Artists and the company itself be able to directly interact with the fans and be more engaged in the entertainment ecosystem.

What are your thoughts? Do you think this will have a "major" impact?

For more info, refer to these articles: Korea’s Biggest Entertainment Company to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency and K-Pop Music Giant SM Entertainment Is Planning Its Own Cryptocurrency
Any type of project and investment into creating more blockchains is welcome to have, and this not something new, i mean we have seen and heard of many companies big or small moving toward digitization and using the blockchain technology in their own way, even though the KPOP culture is wide spread and have many fans, i don't think we will see any major impact, like other companies or fields would do.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 27, 2019, 10:49:15 AM
The world economy keeps crashing with many incidence of inflation. What is happening at the moment is  a clear indication of a world that has failed the minority. Although the underdeveloped countries could partly be blamed for the high inflation that exists in their respective economies. Would things turn around for good  if underdeveloped countries start to add value to their natural resources themselves without selling to the countries with good economy?
The main reason why most of these countries suffer from inflation is due to bad economical strategies set by the governments, if we take for example Venezuela which represents one of most countries that suffers from inflation due to its economy heavily  relaying on oil back in the 90s so when the prices went down so it did and they had to get in debt and because of that all their earning had to go directly to paying them, there was no liquidity in the market so they just kept on pumping and printing more and more of the currency until it is worth noting compared to a dollar,  there are many ways to fight inflation but most of them revolve around reducing the currency supply directly and indirectly, and adding value to natural resources without selling to other countries is only gonna make things worse, because one thing leads to another and it will cause more inflation.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: September 27, 2019, 10:13:58 AM
Is the service and profitability, even if bitcoin is highly volatile, are the only two reasons why bitcoin is attractive to investors? Any good opinions or answers? Thanks
At the early stages of bitcoin people really invested in it because they believed in it and believed in its purpose and idea and its cause to change the way we handle transactions and how we think about money overall, but over time that whole idea started to fade away as more and more people got involved and the prices started to go up, and now people invest in bitcoin not knowing why it is made or what purpose it is fighting for, they just think that it is just a virtual currency, and the topics about it changed from why and how to how much and long, and its value has become just a tied to the price.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin cross 3K USD this year? on: September 27, 2019, 09:42:34 AM
It seems to bear market. Should I hold BTC now?
With the price that bitcoin is at right now the only thing that you should do is hold, the price this years has been a mess and it lead us all to doubt about our investments, but it is not something to makes us doubt the potential of bitcoin as an investment, lets be honest this we had nothing to hype us up or to push the prices of bitcoin to go up, and even if the prices of bitcoin fall i don't think they will reach 3k, and i am sure as we get close to the end of year we will see it rise since next year we will get the halving which will defiantly effect the prices in a good way.
552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell btc on: September 27, 2019, 08:44:18 AM
Hi everyone, I am a newbie. I find myself with about a btc and I would like to sell, but I don't know what the right moment is .. tips?
What i advise you to do is to be rational about how you decide to sell, most of the new people who invest in bitcoin usually panic and get inpatient about selling when they see the price drop and they always end up regretting that, so first of you need to look at what price you got you bitcoin at and see how much profit you have made, at this point if you are at a loss don't sell at all just stick with it, and if the prices are still going up don't sell either just wait until they start going down a bit and than look at your profit and than you can decide whether it is a good time to sell or not, and also never sell all of what you have.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 27, 2019, 07:34:27 AM
For two consecutive days, Bitcoins fell late at night. There are many rumors on the Internet, some people say that the exchange joint bankers, institutions, a hanging of retail investors. Others say they are preparing for big organizations to come in one after another. But in any case, retail investors are innocent.
There is no conspiracy here or any drama or events that lead to this drop, it is just the nature of the market and how it works, bitcoin has been going at it for quite a bit and the price was sitting at around 10k for a couple of months now and it was time for it to go down, and that comes from the lack of support not just from investors and projects which have been minimal this year and also from simple traders that don't see or have any motivation to  do so, but this is probably gonna change as we get closer to the halving next year.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 21, 2019, 04:40:52 PM
I hear a lot of discussion around BTC halving that is expected in May 2020.
Many people are confident that this event will trigger the next bull run.

What is the logic behind this?
The halving is literally halving the bitcoin, meaning that the amount of bitcoin that is mined and rewarded by the blocks will be halved, which means that the supply of the bitcoin available will drop down significantly and when the supply goes down and the demand stays the same as it is the prices will defiantly go up, and that is why a lot of people have been talking about it so much and also it is the reason why most of the investors are trying to buy as much as they can right now before this price ascension begin, so if you are trying to make some good profit from holding bitcoin now is your chance.

557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 22, 2019, 11:53:20 PM
There are a bunch of reasons why no other cryptocurrency has yet replaced bitcoin, and probably one of the main ones is the price, most of the people who have invested in bitcoin have done it for the price , as bitcoin has proven times and times to be a great investment and a way to make some huge profit due to its fast rising value, and there has not been any coin that was able to come close to it rates, another reason is none of the any new coins had any ground breaking, or major new changes that will make it better than bitcoin in any way.
