5541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 02, 2016, 03:09:32 PM
Okay so, bitcoin is outright banned in some countries, so the banning of bitcoin is already a reality. The major government including Russia, China, and the USA (just to name a few) could also ban bitcoin and cryptocoins in general. My questions to you guys are: What do you think will happen to bitcoin? If any, what is your plan of action and what would you like to see from the community in terms of continuation and development? Bitcoin probably will never die but the banning of bitcoin could change the whole dynamics (let alone a temporary major price dip).

I'll give my thoughts first. I think bitcoin will grow and develop into what we want it to be regardless of the legal status. Fundamentally what bitcoin represents is anti-authoritarian and governments banning of it should not much of an impact fundamentally. Sure the price will suffer for at least a while although still climb "to the moon" probably, but as far as technical development and social spreading goes, I think that will continue. Unfortunately that could mean that it operates in the black market only for a while which would slow things down but I do think that would be a temporary affect. I am curious though if the governments could have a strong enough desire to destroy bitcoin or prevent it from growing past a certain point, that they could actually do that. So I wonder what you guys' thoughts are.

all these countries especially those big ones for example Japan are trying to adopt bitcoin so hard and they are so interested in bitcoin. i have even heard Japanese saying we want to make bitcoin an official currency so the banning will never happen.
5542  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: October 22, 2016, 05:27:41 PM
my prediction:
- slow price rise throughout this year and the next year in 2017
- increasing adoption because of the media attention because of rise
- higher prices because of that
- and then real adoption by merchants and
- bitcoin will replace all payment processors online in less than 5 years.
5543  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: October 22, 2016, 05:21:09 PM
Actually it is quite simple process to earn money however it is always difficult to save from what you earn for future and most of the people spend almost all they earn from salary on lots of expensive items which even don't have any real life use however after finding bitcoin i am atleast trying to save some of my those money which otherwise i used to spend on useless item to buy bitcoin now.

if earning money was in fact easy then everybody would have been rich by bow without any problems Cheesy

it is hard to earn money dude. and i am talking about real earning money not just as small as you can make a small living but earn much to become rich.
5544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price! really dude? on: October 22, 2016, 05:18:39 PM
I want the price of the Bitcoin to reach $1000 soon because I am looking forward to sell some of mine Bitcoin for that price. I hope that the Bitcoin can still rise in 2016.
If not then we have to wait for 2017 to come by and see what then is going to happen.
You might see that price in late November or early December since I hve been told by some friends that during that time the price will suddenly rise to 900-1000$ and then gradually decrease and get stabilized around 900$ for 2-3 months, though I am not sure 100%.

you can always open google and search for bitcoin price chart or history and see that.

but anyways, it is not related to the current price and that will never ever happen again. you can only expect the same thing with altcoins now and we can already see that altcoins are getting pumped that way because they are small!
5545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite altcoin for trading? on: October 22, 2016, 05:14:25 PM
i love almost all the top altcoins on coinmarketcap because they have a very big volume each and the prices are always going up and down a lot.

my top 3 are
1) litecoin
2) monero
3) dash

and from time to time ethereum when it pumps only.
5546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 XMR = 0.1 BTC on: October 22, 2016, 05:10:09 PM
You can imagine this, that price: 1 XMR = 0.1 BTC?

rising from current price which is 0.0099 to 0.1BTC means it should go up about 10x which is impossible not only because it is a huge rise but also because no altcoin has ever went up there since so many would dump before that price.

but i can see this in a couple of years though
5547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin P2P lending is dead. on: October 22, 2016, 05:07:28 PM
Nobody takes loans without collateral seriously anymore, the risk is just too great even with a market being present but people not ready to repay is just too much of the total people taking loans, You can't do anything with there documents anyway if you can't sue them..

Agree. If you lend there must be a collateral otherwise you can say bye bye to your money.

don't forget that a collateral must also be "valid" because i have seen that some people just went for the collateral just for the name of it and they receive a worthless thing in return and they can never sell it and the guy defaults the loan too.
5548  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: October 22, 2016, 05:02:00 PM
most of the replies here don't understand what passive means and they are just talking about an "income" which is any kind of income!

a passive income in fact is the hardest thing that you can ever hope for and if you could reach it then you can consider yourself one of the few lucky ones.
5549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it Sports Betting is better than other type of gambling? on: October 22, 2016, 04:58:18 PM
I want to know why people always pushing sports betting as a type of gambling that can give the punters the best chance to win? I need your opinion on the subject and hope you guys can share your informative comments here.
I want to share something i experience before betting with sports is much more better than any type of gambling but the odds in betting if you are going to bet for teams that really big chance to win and if you are going to bet into small chance of winning there are big chance that your bet will double or more.

That is what the odds are working for and that is not guarantee because I think the gambling sites are just referring to the people's choice or base on the standing of a game.

And I am applying it with sports betting, what I am doing is I am going to bet for the teams that has lower percentage of winning.

As long as I know the background of that team, then I will going to entrust them my bitcoin.
Yes by knowing the background and past performance of a team against their current opponents we can easily make some cool predictions, it might not happen everytime that even with a 100% correct evaluation you will win, since upsets hapen, but keep them aside like you loose bets on 99% win chance when dicing.

don't forget that knowing all this can never guarantee your win because even in sports there are times  when they do some behind the curtain action that we can't see and they may fake lose to the other team because they also have made some bets to make big money!
5550  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp $20 behind Bitfinex, why? on: October 22, 2016, 04:54:02 PM
Bitstamp is now $20 lagging behind Bitfinex, $7 behind BTC-e. why? Bitstamp is going down?

it is only $13
so maybe it was a temporary thing.

and this happens whenever there is big rise like this that happens suddenly. it takes time to reach an equilibrium.
5551  Economy / Gambling / Re: losing from freebitco.in on: October 22, 2016, 04:49:46 PM
I also suffered defeat in gambling freebitcoin. despite the defeat I received was not as much as op. but always weird because every time I bet with sathosi many different I have always suffered defeat when a low bet Cheesy
I am using this faucet for long time and never have any luck here I cannot say any thing but wired thing is never hear from any one that he won big here may be OP have some setting that users have only dust from this faucet and never won any thing big

the multiply bitcoin part of the faucet is one of the hardest part of it all because you really can't multiply anything with that huge house edge they have.

i tried my luck for a while and gave up after a short time because that.
5552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: October 22, 2016, 04:47:02 PM
Never keep ANY of your bitcoins in an exchange, You can make a new PC wallet in few seconds and it's as easy to use as any exchange wallet, You should just keep the BTC you are using to buy/sell crypto's with or the like, I don't know why people are still using BTC-E, Coinbase and Circle as actual wallets.

that is right. It is better to keep a very small amount of bitcoin in exchanges to do some quick trading.

small amount means smaller size trade which also means smaller amount of profit.

that is why so many people are using these exchanges and they lose so much bitcoin each time they scam and run away.
5553  Other / Meta / Re: Forum is so slow ! on: October 19, 2016, 02:59:28 PM
oh good, so it is not just me. i came here to see why this is happening today.

what are these attackers trying to gain from DDOS attacking bitcointalk? did they make any demands?
Is that DDOS? Well I wasn't able to log in for a minute or two but eventually I accessed the forum again just now. I hope the new forum will be more secure and not experience downtime like what is happening here currently.

only the owner can give the correct answer to that.
but since loading pages is pretty slow and also i have to refresh the page 2-3 times to get out of the 504 error page, these are signs of DDOS attack AFAIK!
5554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: October 19, 2016, 02:54:24 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!
you are right ,but even with this your suggestion many people will try to gamble and will loss money or btc .
i will suggest to those persons that they make better knowledge about the house edge profit limit for every site or that site in which you want gamble btc .
and make sure that your gadget is best at his performance because once i had lost about 0.04 btc due to hang problem of my mobile .

Gambling can indeed give us an advantage, but gambling is not a good place to use as a giver of profit or money making. Since gambling is the place to look for fun and not for profit. So, if you want to win in gambling then eliminate all thoughts about the benefit and also do not ever think that you will get many benefits when playing

yes it can give us some advantage in fact.
but what happens is that the disadvantages of gambling is a lot more and also bigger than the small number of tiny advantages it can give us. so it is better to quit it.

5556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOGE or BTC gambling? on: October 19, 2016, 02:45:08 PM
What do you prefer: to bet with BTCs or DOGEs?

Do you think Dice game with DOGE coins currency increases your chances of success on automatically mode (safest when you get consecutive losses)?

i think gambling with Doge is somewhat better than gambling bitcoin because bitcoin is more like real money to me but doge is not really.

but i have not gambled much with doge since i don't own that many dogecoin anyways to gamble with it.
5557  Economy / Gambling / Re: losing from freebitco.in on: October 19, 2016, 02:42:07 PM
Autobet: Withdraw when you are making profit or lose everything

Thats true, but the hardest thing to do,..since the more we win the more we play, the urge of getting more is there and its hard to battle greed when we are winning. we only realize everything when we lost our bank roll

you can always set a fixed minimum number of bets to stop when you reach that number in the autobet system.

and also in some of the good dice sites you can set the amount of profit or loss you can handle before the autobet stops.
5558  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 19, 2016, 02:39:11 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I am not dreaming of getting rich with Bitcoin because I do not think that it is ever going to happen even if I spend my whole life on it.
It also does not matter to me not becoming rich with Bitcoin in am rich in many other ways Bitcoin is not needed in that way.

i kinda have the dream of getting rich with bitcoin.
but not the way that you may think. i am living in the real world so i try to be realistic too.
i am trying to make money with bitcoin and use that to invest and use that to invest too and then invest more and more to increase the profit each day.
and that is the way i am planning on getting rich.
5559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last correction before 700+ breakout on: October 19, 2016, 02:37:42 PM
only the day traders are waiting to buy in the dip. and also only the idiots who doubt everything are staying on the side while shivering with fear.

the rest of us have made our purchase and investment a while back when nobody was looking and price was low Wink
5560  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2016, 02:34:15 PM
i want to vote for all the option but sadly it is not possible.

but in reality i am using bitcoin for all the options that is there in the poll maybe except buying drugs but the rest yes.
