561  Other / Meta / Re: was gambling board restricted from merits? on: January 13, 2024, 10:13:06 PM
I know this thread is not that called for but I don't know if there is any restrictions sets on the gambling board because from my view and understanding I noticed other board are free from meriting posts that are quality enough I have also gone through the gambling sections there are quality post I do finds out but I can't barely merits them because I am not a merits source neither do I have merits to spray like those who are with enough merits to send across.
In a meantime, you can report merit worthy posts to this thread

The Gambling board just like most altcoin boards and discussion boards are on ignore by most merit sources, so the best thing to do is to grant spendable merits to merit source applicants that are active in such boards.

Try and apply to be a merit source. Theymos does not grand merit source powers every time someone new applies, but once in a while he accepts lots of merit source applications at ago.
562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with bots on: January 13, 2024, 09:47:24 PM
I am doing scalping with 1 minute chart and I see a big rejection candle at 22.21 london time for most alcoins, also for btc...how do you guys interpret this?
Would have been nice if you showed us the charts as well. Is it a pattern?

Obviously, some traders use bots. Others just use stop limit orders. There are very many factors at play, such as the funding fee hours. They lead to drastic changes in price mostly for coins with high negative or positive funding fees.

Any tips on how I could learn to automate my trading with bots?
Do you know any scripting language such as python or pinescript? or you are looking for an already built bot?
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF on: January 13, 2024, 01:14:23 PM
I don`t think that this is true! There is not a single proof that any ETF provider bought bitcoins before the ETF was launched.
Mate, what they say is actually true

In a Spot, Bitcoin ETF invests directly into Bitcoins, meaning they must have bought bitcoins at one point before they filed and got approved by SEC. Do you think SEC would go that low into approving an ETF the Government still hates, minus following the actual rules to the book? I don't think so.

Maybe you are confusing Spot ETFs with derivative based ETFs or futures contracts.

Quote
If the would buy bitcoins before the ETF is launched they will essentially go long on bitcoin. This would mean that they are exposed to a very large risk.
But look how far the Bitcoin price has come, don't you think part of it is the effect of these companies buying Bitcoins?

The first spot Bitcoin ETF was applied for a long time ago

Quote
Also what happens when they run out of bitcoins:
Will they buy again a very large sum until they run out?
Will they then buy everyday?
What happens when an exchange "runs" out of Bitcoins to sell?  Cheesy
Price spikes!
There is always someone willing to sell at a higher price. That's how the market works. Exchanges don't run out of assets to sell, it's a game between the buyers and sellers. It's all about demand and supply.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost btc on: January 12, 2024, 11:31:50 PM
Looks like there was a problem with crediting your account, so keep pestering that customer support until they update your account balance. By the way also make sure you have your Coinbase app updated in case you are using a mobile software and is not displaying the balances correctly.
565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: January 12, 2024, 11:12:35 PM

I DON'T CARE ABOUT BEING BANNED FROM THIS FUCKING TRASH CASINO PIECE OF SHIT !
I JUST WANT MY FUCKING MONEY PAID AS I HAVE SUBMITTED THE = BULLSHIT PHOTO OF MY HARD DICK NAKED
AS THEY ASKED TO SEE IT DESPERATELY !

SO PAY MY FUCKING MONEY ASSHOLES !

As the others have pointed out, writing in capital letters will not do anything good. I can see in your scam accusations topic, you have been paid, so in the end all is good. It is frustating to submit KYC for a low amount to withdraw, but they can always ask it according to their terms and that is the same for almost all casinos.
I guess we all know who the A-hole is. The way he has been screaming in different threads shows how immature he is. A spoilt impatient superbrat that lacks proper communication skills and thinks that moaning and using profanities is the only way forward.
Duelbits resolved the issue and approved the withdrawal of the 44 bucks of the deluded user, and off to the cave he goes.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF on: January 12, 2024, 10:55:49 PM
Yesterday several Bitcoin ETF launched in the US and had a trading volume of 4.6 billion USD. I think we can all see that this is market changing volume since people that traded the Bitcoin ETF are probably not yet invested in Bitcoin. Interestingly the huge volume was not represented on popular bitcoin exchanges,
More huge trade volumes reported today. I think North of $7Billion since the trading of ETFs started but no upward price movement for Bitcoin, instead we are just seen a downtrend which.

Quote
which made me wonder where the bitcoins are actually being both/sold.
The ETFs are trading on exchanges like Nasdaq, NYSE Arca... Please bear in mind that what is being trade are not actual Bitcoins.

The excitement was mostly about "adoption" where people thought now that these companies reorganize Bitcoin, it would mean that more investors would get more exposure to Bitcoin.
567  Other / Meta / Re: Did you notice something a little weird? on: January 12, 2024, 10:13:57 PM
It's not weird, it's actually set intentionally by the admin to ensure that the resource requirement by the website is not so huge and is manageable. I am no expert on how websites are run but imagine if the forum had to update such information even micro second. It would mean a very high resource utilization and/or slow down the forum loading speed, which is pretty fast under normal circumstances.

If you have noticed, even activity points and forum ranks take time to update.
568  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUELBITS FUCKING SCAMMER SON OF A BITCHES on: January 11, 2024, 11:43:08 PM
When you posted something like this and you don't care about the community's reaction you don't want your withdrawal you just hate the casino for making you go through this KYC process and restricting you on the game you want to play, but this is not how you file an accusation and no support will be given by the community if you do it this way.
Just look at his trust ratings. They will give you a clear picture of the kind of person you are trying to advise. Not worth it because such people don't change. Just let him scream all the shit he wants here until his brain finally comes back to the senses and tells him that it's enough.

I trust Duelbits will do the right thing based on the outcomes of the verification.
569  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 CasinoAdrenaline.com ❤️ FS NO DEPOSIT 🎰 CRYPTO CASINO ✅ INSTANT PAYOUTS🍀⚡🎰 on: January 11, 2024, 11:33:04 PM
scam casino anyway, deposit 30eur in crypto, demand of kyc on withdrawal of small (100eur) winnings even though terms say verification not required for crypto players... stay away
But who in their right mind still uses crypto casinos today without expecting KYC verification, especially with a casino that talks about it in their ToS, privacy policy and also has a KYC/AML policy in place?

1. ToS - https://www.casinoadrenaline.com/terms-and-conditions#terms-section-13
2. Privacy Policy - https://www.casinoadrenaline.com/privacy-policy
3. AML policy - https://www.casinoadrenaline.com/aml

You have no case here.
570  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 11, 2024, 10:51:32 PM
Suggestion for improvement:

I think the title of the email sent out regarding free lotteries is misleading, "BC.GAME Withdrawal Notification". I don't know if this is happening with other type of messages as well. I think this should be changed to something much better, like "Free Lottery promotion".

Imagine how a client's heart would skip when they see BC.GAME Withdrawal Notification when they didn't initiate any withdrawal  Grin

571  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] Bitcointalk official acceleration thread. on: January 11, 2024, 10:33:02 PM
It would have been great if there was any miner or member who is part of the F2pool and has a referral code. This way accelerating transactions would be easy using this tool (https://www.f2pool.com/pushtx) and I don't think he would require a very high hash power

Aside from viaBTC's free 20 transactions per hour, that is the only other legitimate tool one could use minus having to pay a fee. The problem is getting the referral code.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto business: How to withdraw money from the platform? on: January 11, 2024, 09:59:37 PM
Not all P2P platforms provide true Peer to Peer trading.

Many P2P platforms ask users to submit documents and complete KYC verifications before using account for trading. They can give you no KYC service but with very small account life-span trading limit that means very little for users. Hitting that limit, if you want to use your account for trading, submit KYC.
You are right. My understanding of peer to peer trading is that it should not involve a third party. As soon as there is a third party who has the power to hold and block the funds, as for KYC etc like the way Binance does it then it ceases to be a p2p trading platform

Bisq.network is a decentralized exchange that I would rate highly as a p2p exchange compared to Kucoin or Binance. The only problem with bisq is probably the low liquidity and the difficulty to set it up before trading.
573  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for a group of people who are willing to build for bitcoin on: January 10, 2024, 11:52:54 PM
You really think people are going to join you if they have no idea about what you are trying to build?
For starters, the BRC20's are destroying the main purpose of the Bitcoin network rather than build it, so I am not sure if you will get any fans who are truly enthusiastic about the Bitcoin network.
574  Economy / Services / Re: Paxful Requiring ID VERIFICATION to withdraw your funds... HELP Needed on: January 10, 2024, 11:23:19 PM
You choose one of the worst, lol, so I guess you have to own up to your lack of vigilance.

If you didn't want KYC verification, you would have tried out HodlHodl, Bisq or localcoinswap.

is this even legal?
when I created my accounts they did not require this and now they can just come and
lock my funds till I verified myself?
Learn to read terms of service before you put your money into any service. As far as the TOS are concerned, it's "legal"
VPNs won't help you.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello question about S-Corp LLC for exchange account's on: January 10, 2024, 10:12:07 PM
I think the best place to look to if you are seeking advice from a legal perspective is a law firm or lawyer.  I am pretty sure you can easily get those from your locality at a fee (consultation fee). That is much better than loosing money to online scammers who are so many and may not even be based in the US to know what is right or wrong.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the difference between crypto trading and traditional stock trading on: January 09, 2024, 11:56:51 PM
Most of the principles considered in both crypto and stock trading are similar except for a few different terminologies used when trading stock, such as lots and pips. You won't see such when using traditional crypto exchanges

1. In crypto, you deal directly with a crypto exchange, minimum requirements favor even retail traders. For stocks, you have to use brokers, some of which have very high minimum requirements that don't favor retail traders
2. Crypto markets are always open 24 hours, 7 days a week if you use a crypto exchange.
3. Fundamental analysis isn't much used in crypto markets yet, unlike in stock markets.
577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceleration services - Fee comparison on: January 07, 2024, 11:57:42 PM
There's a big difference between F2Pool push transaction service and other tools that can be used for broadcasting transactions.
Anyone who has a referral code can send a non-standard transaction directly to F2Pool, so that they include it in the blockchain.
I haven't suggested it's a broadcasting service. My observation tells me it's a transaction accelerator. Probably a free one and just has a separate link from the paid one that most people know. I don't see how both are different services as you suggested earlier on, except that one is paid, and the other requires a referral code to have the TX pushed.
578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 07, 2024, 11:21:16 PM
We know that Arsenal vs Liverpool is a big match that will be played today. Rollbit offers increased odds for players betting under 2.5.
As Liverpool fans, we want to win by a narrow score. So there is an opportunity for friends who bet at odds under 2.5 to get $288 from Rollbit.
It's very hard to believe that the match ended with a total score under 2.5 especially with so many missed chances I saw throughout the game! Who ever betted under 2.5 and watched the entire match must have even caught fever at some points in the match  Grin I didn't observe any live match odds today, maybe I will try out the Manchester United match.

Did you stake on it?  Must have been a sweet win if you did  Wink
579  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceleration services - Fee comparison on: January 07, 2024, 09:36:01 PM
Never used it and it's the first time I clicked it, if it's labeled as push it should only do that, broadcasting the tx not a free acceleration service.
But the referral thing is weird, I'll ask around to see if someone mining there has one!
Requiring a referral code to just broadcast a transaction would completely make no sense, especially when there are other tools that can be used to do the same thing as well.

I don't know about that address in particular but things like this zero sat/byte one:
https://mempool.space/tx/dc4c8fef2a4500ea582aeb692542548f2f23205662ee87d5a16c83d41dcf3f4a
is f2pool paying out miners.
I picked that transaction from the list of their recently pushed transactions, there are other confirmed transactions in there which were at a lower fee rate compared to the optimal fee rate at that time like this one got confirmed 2 days ago and was at 3 sats/vbyte (https://mempool.space/tx/dc745e5838396e77c08dbaa3741c7abb7b03197106c8ad60376d01498048aebd)
So if it was just broadcasting, they shouldn't have been confirmed up to now.
580  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM Alerted (BB Exchange) on: January 07, 2024, 11:12:21 AM
We recently used this site it seems to be working but since Christmas until now there is no response from customer service at all and we can’t withdraw our USDT. The website is BBEXPRO.XYZ now.
Unfortunately, you fell for the scam and there isn't much we can do to help you recover that lost money. Next time, please ask for opinions before you waste your money and time to scams.

In any case, I don't trust BBEXPRO.XYZ one bit lol. I could tell at a glance it's one of those cookie cutter shady exchanges, I swear, I've seen a similar design before lol.
They are in plenty, I don't think I have even listed them all  Grin
