561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining - Need help on: May 05, 2018, 07:25:28 PM
You can mine thought nicehash( https://www.nicehash.com ) and the program will mine with the best algorithm at any time and you'll be payed with bitcoin
I would not recommend using nicehash to mine altcoins. If you're already doing it stop while you can.

They have high withdrawal fees and you'll basically just mine for them. Use a proper poll, wallet and mine directly to it using mining software you can find here.

You have posts on page 87, do you think this will get read by anyone? You are literally increasing the spam that everybody hates. No merit for you.

You need to increase the quality of your posts in order to receive merit. Also, some of your posts are missing some facts.

Kindly review mine too please. Thank you in advance.

Stop focusing on bounties and start reading more about crypto currencies. This will allow you to create interesting posts that people will merit.
563  Local / Anunturi importante / Re: Puncte de Merit si Cerinte Noi Pentru Rang-ul BitcoinTalk on: May 05, 2018, 06:29:51 PM

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return on: May 05, 2018, 06:11:00 PM
Loki coin started last thursday. It's had a lot of publicity and there's loads of pools so the network hash is 25-30MH

Original Announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3016125.0

It uses the algo cryptonight heavy

I use the pool: https://loki.miner.rocks/#  but if you're less bothered about a quick profit, use an alternate.

Currently  1KH/s/day = 3.04 LOKI / $4.67
Indeed it looks good. Thanks for suggesting it, I've added to the first post of this thread. Smiley

With a hash rate of about 150 h/s in cryptonight heavy you will get about 0.4 LOKI per day. That's not bad at all and it seems 1 LOKI is currently valued at about $1.4.

It always nice to see we have people on this forum that know their stuff on a specific subject - in your case electrical engineering. Merited Smiley

I think you're on a good track but you still need to increase the quality of your posts. Try to find a subject you're best knowledgeable in and create a thread about it.

I have noticed your posts for some time now and I like what I'm seeing Smiley Merited! It's only a matter of time (or in BCT terms activity) until you will rank up.

You still need to increase the quality of your posts in order to receive merit. Try to read more about the crypto world and create a thread about something you're best knowledgeable of.

Didn't know which one to pick, went with this one:

I think the best IDE you can use for Bitcoin/Crypto development is IDEA Intellij.
It's cross platform (you can use it on Ubuntu, Mac or Windows) and you can use the community edition for free. Anyone who has ever worked in software development appreciates a good IDE like Intellij.

As the programming language used for the blockchain is C++, you will need to get a plugin for it to be able to use it in the IDE. You can find some useful info on it here: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/1373-c-c-
571  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week in BTC & Tokens! on: May 04, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
You are even a part of the spam problem you seek to solve as you are indirectly spamming this thread with your question. Read above you, the manager already answered it as quoted below...
Well... not really. Since you're not part of this campaign you're the one spamming for no reason.
Of course I have seen his response but that was 2 days ago and was still inconclusive at that time.

Since this is the last day of the campaign, we need to know if we should keep our signatures or not. But you weren't aware of that, were you?

Being a smart ass does not really work when you're missing the smart part.  Undecided

@Madz, any news whether the campaign will be extended or not?

P.S. I would appreciate 3rd parties refrain from speculating on this and keeping this thread clean.

As a newbie, the bounty campaigns you can participate at are mostly social media and telegram campaigns. By heading on to this link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0, you will find lots of bounty campaigns. What you need to do is just fill up forms and follow rules.
Signature campaigns often give more profit than social media and telegram campaigns, but as a newbie it is hard to find a good project that allows newbies to join. To rank up to Jr. Member you need to have 30 activity and 30 posts. I suggest you try to answer some questions and share ideas in off topic too, it adds up to your number of posts. Once you have ranked up you can participate in most signature bounties.
   I hope this helped!
Please read the rules and how to apply, again. You are welcome to re-submit your application again.

575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: May 03, 2018, 06:38:22 PM
Are there any plans in making Ethereum Classic available on more exchanges for more people to get a hold of it?

How about a refreshing marketing campaign to get ETC back into the public's attention? Maybe a signature campaign here?

Are you planning on fighting any ASICs that may secretly be mining it?

P.S. I would appreciate an answer from someone from the ETC team not speculations from 3rd parties.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: May 03, 2018, 02:30:17 PM
It's going to be same scenario as the Baikal or Antminer X3 were for CryptoNight. By the time you will receive them, all the major coins would have forked to be ASIC resistant and you will end up receiving some expensive door stoppers delivered Smiley
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: An blackout can kill a mining rig??? on: May 03, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
If you have good circuit breakers installed then you won't have any issue with yours rigs. They fill protect you from any power surges.

Off topic: Since you mentioned you are living in a tropical country, you need to also worry about cooling your rigs too. What setup were you thinking to use for it?
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining - Need help on: May 03, 2018, 07:46:49 AM
An alternative website where you can find info on the coins to mine and what is the profitability for them is http://whattomine.com/
You just need to select the GPUs you are using and it will automatically know the hash rate & power consumption for your selected algorithms.
579  Other / Off-topic / Re: vlad230's post review service - Jr. Member and up [OPEN] on: May 03, 2018, 07:40:02 AM
You are mainly posting in mega-threads. Some posts are on page 20, 27... I hope you do realize you are just increase the spam that everyone wants to stop. You will not receive any merits for this.

Appreciate your service OP hope more users will support your service, please review my work thanks

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: P102-100 is here - The King of GPU Mining on: May 02, 2018, 08:19:01 AM
1. I have yet to test CryptoNight on the card, but I am expecting 900 - 980H/s (based on what other miners using P102 are saying)
2. 3200 CUDA cores. Base clock is 1582MHz.
3. I am very close to the Nvidia manufacturer network. They supplied these cards directly to me. You can get them from www.bitnand.com.
I don't see any reason in buying this card. You can get VEGA 64 cards on amazon.com with about $800 now. You will get 2,000 h/s with it in CryptoNight with it.
I see other people are reporting the same 53-54 MH/s in ethash using 1080 ti cards.

Unless it is getting better hash rates or is less expensive then the other cards, I don't see a reason why anyone would buy it.
