If you are not comfortable with our lack of full transparency, please don't buy a contract.

I'm not comfortable with that at all and most certainly will not be buying any contracts from you.

That is fine.  Perhaps https://www.havelockinvestments.com is your cup of tea.
Good luck.

Don't you realize you could easily get millions of dollars in VC funding if you would quit acting like a ponzi scheme?

Do you hate money?

Uh-Oh, gaw has no hashpower.

https://plus.google.com/events/cj4oksoj6ko7e90h1rkgavcs1rk

It's amazing that that some people can see that video and somehow feel reaffirmed that GAW is not running a fractional reserve.

You can see maybe 100 S4's in that video.

They are claiming to have around 20,000 S4's.
563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Now that GAW is in deep shit, let's speculate on: December 04, 2014, 10:00:20 PM
These guys are affiliates and shills of gaw. You can clearly see his large signature ad. He's a paid shill for them, literally.

The funny thing is that slark is actually a shill who used 4 accounts to promote GAW.
564  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 04, 2014, 09:15:49 PM
-snip-
PBMining's whole schtick was that you would get 100% PPS equivalent for your hashrate, no fees or costs. Network luck should have no bearing on it.

For a real miner, this is impossible. If they satisfy this demand of yours, u can be 110% sure that they are Ponzi.

Do you see now why people think pbmining is a ponzi?

I see you're advertising cloudmining.website which also has zero fees/variance.
565  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 04, 2014, 03:46:32 AM
Josh gives him $8,000,000 for his company but he can't afford a bigger office area? I feel cramped just looking at him there.
Also Eric's wife Amber works away from home @ gawminers home base.. why..?
If I had 8 million dollars, I'd forbit my wife from going away for work.

I think Josh straight up lied about that $8,000,000 deal and if he didn't.. I'm not sure what the fuck Eric is still doing with that shady company?

The deal wasn't with Eric afaik. Zenminer was owned by Tom Fraser, the son of Stuart fraser who has coincidentally been invested in Josh's ventures since he was a highschooler.

I think we are supposed to believe they've spent $8,000,000 on a pool, mined ~$8,000,000 worth of bitcoins then decided screw mining, let's make a super advanced datacenter optimized wallet instead.
566  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 03, 2014, 08:36:56 PM

Is the point of this to force GAW to disclose details of their operations? The "likely transmitting stray radio emissions" thing is kind of strange otherwise.

I can see it if it's a way to impose transparency, but I don't see your standing. Did you find someone who lives next to the "data center" and can't get a cell signal?

Yea I'm not sure I see the point in that.

I say just wait for GAW to be investigated for securities fraud. It's only a matter of time.
567  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 03, 2014, 08:30:20 PM
I stopped / have overflown reading all the negative grap here for many reasons:

1) i not think PBMining as a scam, because it is not a wise buiness model for such a high profile ripoff. Better steady but lower income and keep it clean.

Why don't you ask Danny Brewster, Ryan Kennedy, Trendon shavers, Bernie Madoff, and so on, why they decided to go with a "high profile ripoff".

Quote
2) Even when it is, i can do nothing against it. My hashingpower is hashing already here. And as far as i know, pbmining not missed a single payout for almost a year and support was great when needed.

Well for one, you could stop promoting this extremely shady operation to other cryptonoobs who don't know any better.

You could also join the ranks of people who refuse to invest until the company has proven they are actually mining.
568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 03, 2014, 08:17:25 PM
I was under the impression that Amazon denied having anything to do with paycoin, and threatened to sue if Josh even implied that they did.

Actually, the Amazon thing is the least problematic of the "what ifs". If there's some sort of debit card proxy that works with existing payment systems and allows instantaneous conversion, it doesn't matter that much if Amazon takes it directly.

So what you're saying is that if I create a payment processor I am allowed to claim partnerships with any and every company that accepts fiat?
569  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 03, 2014, 07:09:52 PM
Too much wild speculation and hate here, why? However, and I am not a GAW fanboy, the idea behind Paycoin is great! Now its his turn, to keep his promises and convince the community and all its haters! Just the future will show...

What features do you like about paycoin?
570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 03, 2014, 02:20:09 AM
Thanks for the explanation, was wondering what the 2 addresses paying to 1 address were for. I was looking at other addresses that signed up on the same day and tried to follow payments to their addresses 1 month later (give or take a couple of days), didn't find much of the same payment addresses, maybe some didn't complete the sig. Will look more into this when I have some time to play (not that I will find anything but hope to learn more about how blockchain/payments work).

Thanks again for the lesson, it was a valuable one for me Smiley

See my edit, I think I found the link to the 1P62 address. Not sure if that proves anything though. Do we now if that's really GAW's address and not e.g. a hot wallet at some exchange?

It might be interesting to try to cross link it to ZenCloud deposits and withdrawals, and also see if any anonymous pools (e.g. Eligius, NiceHash, CleverMining) are linked to it. Or to any newly generated coins.

Here's my original post on that address: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg9610951#msg9610951

I don't think it's an exchange because 99% of the payments being sent are below 0.001 btc.

Many payments sent to 1P6 can be traced directly back to 1P6 but some just lead to addresses with a bunch of unintelligible inputs. I'm not sure if they are using a mixer but it does seem deliberately confusing. Still I've never found a single payment that came from newly generated coins.

As far as I'm concerned anyone and everyone that works for GAW is guilty. Turning a blind eye to such obvious fraud or unethical greedy manipulation at least does not make you innocent. They are all in this together and they are all planning on profiting huge off of all GAW customers.

I have to disagree. We shouldn't be blaming their employees unless we know they are in on the scam.

For example look at Neobee. (you might notice the incredible amount of similarities)

Their employees were scammed more than many investors. When Danny Brewster ran with the money the employees were left jobless and without weeks of pay.

I imagine many working for GAW are just naive/ignorant noobs, but at the same time I'm sure some are collaborators.

I would think the NDAs are/would be in place because the final details are not yet finalized and releasing some details may put either party at a potential disadvantage to any negotiations.

I would think the "NDAs" are in place so Mr. CEO can avoid proving he's not full of shit.

Look at the criteria, what other infraction are you asking me to apply to BA.

Why doesn't BA have 1/10 for ethics and communication like BFL? What is different about BA?

BA does/did actively engage with customers, on here and the other coin forum.

BFL actively engages their customers in the same way. BA only spends slightly less time on this forum aggravating customers compared to BFL. (but just as little time helping/providing support)

Quote
BA have messed up royally on one generation, BFL 2. And only one of those companies is in court ordered receivership currently.

BA's recent failure left customers with $3/gh 1.2 w/gh horrible quality hardware while BFL's failure left their customers with $2/gh 0.8w/gh decent quality hardware.

If BFL hadn't been slammed by the FTC, I would classify BA as the bigger failure.

Really?? Again you're going to compare Apple with GAW, I was a journalist and entrepreneur once just like the New York Times, I had paper route for 6 months.

Ok, fine... pick your random cloud mining company.  If anyone does post pictures of a data center, the boo-birds and experts here claim them as fakes...or basically never satisfied.

Anyone who is a GAW customer can see what wallets they get paid out from in the blockchain.

What's the problem?

The problem is that all of those payments originate from new customer purchases instead of mining.

In investigating these claims, BitBeat viewed a bitcoin address at Blockchain.info that was cryptographically proven to belong to GAW and in which almost 28,000 bitcoins — currently worth more than $10 million – have flowed from mining operations over the past two months. We were told this was just one of a number GAW mining addresses. We also obtained a copy of the lease contract to a 150,000-square foot warehouse in Park Purvis, Miss., where GAW’s mining operation occurs, and saw photos of a new operation under constructions with hundreds of rigs stacked on shelves, high-tension wires and heavy electrical infrastructure.

Apparently proof of mining is coming from a respected third party.

Please please please don't be someone unfamiliar with crypto.

"We visited GAW's mining facilities and can confirm once and for all that they have a lot of machines" - wsj blogger

Did I call it or what?

Fun fact: it would have required 35 PH/s to mine 28k bitcoins in the past 2 months. (and apparently that's just one of the many mining addresses owned by GAW)
578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [20th Oct] on: December 01, 2014, 09:24:14 PM
I think they should get a 1 for Communication and 1 (preferably 0) for Ethics.

They have fucked up again and again, resulting in repeated delays and miners regularly going up in flames (both power supplies and hash boards). They disappear for weeks on end (they're in disappear mode right now), then come back with some bullshit about how they're working on a fix. They know all their X3 hash boards are defective, but make you ship the defective boards back to them to get replacements - at your own expense, naturally - apparently even going so far as to insist that you pay the customs fees for doing so.

In short, their communications have been nothing but lies and blaming everyone but themselves (including customers) for their problems. Their ethics are abominable - they've broken every promise they ever made: delivery schedule, refunds, price-matching, etc. Most recently their master customer service representative Alexey A. threatened that they could ship in 4 years and still be within their contractual rights.

They've promised a measly 50% extra hashing power for compensation, but say they can't ship any compensation units until they've completed the initial shipping queue. But both shipping queues are on hold because the current X3 design is defective and they've probably run out of parts for the X1. Instead, they say they're going to upgrade that one to the X1.5, with 150 GH, which will probably involve putting two under-spec chips on a board instead of their single-chip design. This will require reingineering, of course, which they will doubtless fuck up as well.

At this point, the only difference between BFL and BA is that BFL has been shut down. If BA's legal status weren't so obfuscated, I'm sure they would have been as well.

Agreed. I have no idea how dogie feels 5/10 for ethics and 4/10 for communication is reasonable.

BA makes BFL look like an honest company.

Because that's how the criteria works, if you spent the time to read them. They do communicate, it doesn't matter if its all 'lies'. I can't lower their ethics score lower than -5 without them going bankrupt or approaching BFL's level - which they have not done.

How is BA any different from BFL in those categories? BA is providing shitty/aggravating customer support just like BFL.

As for ethics, how can you possible argue that BA has better ethics than BFL?

BFL offered full USD refunds and honored them. BA offered full refunds and then decided screw it, let's just send customers their unwanted/dangerously faulty hardware anyways.

It´s pointless to try to reason with these people

as has been amply demonstrated here.

In a year they´ll still be whining over how this

must be a ponzi scam  Grin

You seem to get very defensive/irritated every time someone questions pbmining legitimacy.

Is it because you feel threatened that you might not get your money back before this ponzi collapses?
