Thanks for the explanation, was wondering what the 2 addresses paying to 1 address were for. I was looking at other addresses that signed up on the same day and tried to follow payments to their addresses 1 month later (give or take a couple of days), didn't find much of the same payment addresses, maybe some didn't complete the sig. Will look more into this when I have some time to play (not that I will find anything but hope to learn more about how blockchain/payments work).

Thanks again for the lesson, it was a valuable one for me Smiley

See my edit, I think I found the link to the 1P62 address. Not sure if that proves anything though. Do we now if that's really GAW's address and not e.g. a hot wallet at some exchange?

It might be interesting to try to cross link it to ZenCloud deposits and withdrawals, and also see if any anonymous pools (e.g. Eligius, NiceHash, CleverMining) are linked to it. Or to any newly generated coins.

For example here is an address linked to newly generated coins (this one belongs to AntPool):

https://blockchain.info/address/1Mp3atombUR6iLLYoLEdN9uPfPscsKBXfi
https://blockchain.info/tx/f095dfd22c2fe23275e9487ecb7c19eb71403d1359a0c07c0457190ffafbeaeb

I don't see anything like that near the 1P62 address but I haven't really spent any time on it.

To all BTC bagholders - congratulations on the first difficulty decrease in nearly two years.

Let's mine the crap out of it before PayCoin comes and makes BTC extinct.

No coin not even BTC will be worth anything if there is no user demand for it. BTC has made great strides this last year being excepted by huge e- retailers and more. Plus NCR announced is incorporating software features in to all of it new register systems for BTC transactions, that to me is a big step in that arena. I am still wondering who will be excepting paycoin?? I mean its all hype and speculation to me so far. I guess ya never know, but I just don't see the need for another digital currency, like trying to re invent the wheel or something lol, and I feel its governed and controlled by one person, at least for now, which cant be good. If something happened to Josh today, like his jet plane goes down over the pacific or something, what becomes of paycoin and his fantasy? Who would be in control and carry on the mission? Its huge gamble for a lot of folks in my opinion.

Just buy BTC and sit back and wait ( 3 months or 6 months) no pun intended Smiley
Just for the record: I nor anyone that I could find or read, suggested in anyway they wish anything bad physically against Josh. I just read through the last 8 pages or so, and a few are implying that some are wishing ill upon him? I never said that or suggested that either. In my above post I simply was making a point of everything about paycoin is centered on Josh's vision only it seems, and "WHAT IF" something bad were to happen to him like I mentioned, as purely example only, geez! Someone else took out of context what I maybe wrote and turned it into something else perhaps? IDK.

I used that as an example as for the same reasons the president and vice president or big corporate co-owners don't fly in the same planes, and that is to insure continuity in case a plane went down.... man people can be pinheads in these threads... read my whole post and you will see there is NO malice intent there upon Josh, God bless him I hope he succeeds. But I was implying what if? and who or what would become of paycoin, gaw and the whole shebang? lol and mostly all the people who have spent millions on his fantasy.

Someone mentioned the elders didn't take their meds lol, I may be getting old and a seasoned miner who started on slush's pool, but I would never ever "wish" anything bad like that on anyone (not that I consider myself an elder, yet)  Grin

ok, just wanted to be clear to those who were implying some were wishing bad things on him.. not accurate at all. At least not from this guy  Wink

Thank you,
MMNC

Yea that happens a lot on here but I forgive you for your comment. If you wish something bad to happen to him its your feelings/thoughts.

Just joking HAHA. I understood exactly what you were saying, it seems the highly educated ones took it to left field, hit the goal post and tried to score a home run.

P.S.
Don't let forums get 2 u, its not good.

Hey thanks man, some rationality in here at last lol  Smiley

Probably an indication that the average efficiency of the installed base of equipment is bumping up against the low average price of power. It's got to level off at some point.

But ya, let's mine the heck out of it. I just plugged a Block Erupter back in to celebrate!! Grin

He should solo mine and then take the 5 minute period prior to finding a block as the timeframe for the bet. I think one of the conditions was "any period".

Might take a while to hit that block though Wink

Very nice and fast find, when jimmothy and that other guy (forgot his name, sorry) that were trying to trace some addresses the other night see this they will also add some input. A couple of guys working together can figure this out, if any help is needed I am also here, I also clicked about 1000 addresses that night but they beat me to it Tongue. With a little guidance to steer me in the right path.

No one gives a shit about GAW using 9/11 to sell hashlets and then not actually bothering to make the donation to charity? Seems pretty poor form to me. Undecided

I do vaguely remember them being forced to make that promise after a bit of a shitstorm on the forums. So you're saying it never happened?

Anyone brave enough to dig up some old thread on HT and follow up?

It never happened, I asked Amber at least 3 times and she said they would announce how much was raised (they sold ~1000 * $20.95 Remember Hashlets based on a count on Hashtalk despite saying they would only sell 500) and confirm which charity the donation was made to, but they didn't do it it was just forgotten about.

Here Josh said 100% of sales money would go to chairty: https://hashtalk.org/topic/5725/500-rememberhashlets/272

notice requests for confirmation of donation not answered, and no mention on the charitys donor page.

Confirmation that Volder bought 100 (and then sold them at a huge profit later, real nice way to remember 9/11!)

https://hashtalk.org/topic/5743/first-remember-hashlet

Confirmation that there was not a limit of 500: https://hashtalk.org/topic/5710/rememberhashlets

Count here, at least 1000 were sold: https://hashtalk.org/topic/6413/how-many-remember-hashlets-do-you-own-d/

Amber's post at: https://hashtalk.org/topic/6413/how-many-remember-hashlets-do-you-own-d/155

So where did that ~$20k go?

Just bumping this, added links so people can see what was said, 500, then not limited, no recorded donation to the named charity. At the very least it's not a good way to treat people who thought they were donating to a cause.

amazoncoin is only the codename. due to nda they cant release that its actually paycoin. They would of created it themselves but the code was beyond the powers of developers. Josh reached out as the peoples savior with this marvel of innovation. It all starts now!

He named amazon as a big partner then deleted those posts but its only a matter of time before amazon verifies. maybe a wsj blog will review an email and confirm for us. The proper wsj would be nice but i guess a blog still gives the illusion the wsj actually said it.

Maybe Josh = satoshi

It explains the high end tech they have coming and devs unable to comprehend. Satoshi was mysterious and Joshs operations are too.

I made a new account to hashtalk and posted:

"I just wanted to ask around, that when you get shadowbanned for normal conversation (although I was not hyping GAW either), are you supposed to register a new account, wait x days or just stay the f**k away from GAW and Paycoin in the future?

If not the 3:rd option, do I need to hype GAW in every post not to be banned?

Thanks"

Here is the result, in 2 minutes 2 mods replied, shut down the thread and banned my account

Welcome to the club.. Whats the sense of asking questions that make sense to someone who doesn't make sense? The whole Paycoin AKA Project Prime(No primes left in it now) will be a debacle and the folks who asked the legit questions will be banned and looking at this from the outside saying we tried to warn you GAW Skinheads but you didn't listen!!

Look at this from a 10,000 ft level . No Devs, No proof of any kind anyone has invested in this BS, no Wallet,  no blockchain and a whitepaper that you can use to wipe your ass with because it's meaningless now.

I don't think it's an exchange because 99% of the payments being sent are below 0.001 btc.

Many payments sent to 1P6 can be traced directly back to 1P6 but some just lead to addresses with a bunch of unintelligible inputs. I'm not sure if they are using a mixer but it does seem deliberately confusing. Still I've never found a single payment that came from newly generated coins.

Hey! I said it first in the last thread. LOL.

Who would be wise enough to accumulate enough wealth to invest so much in little ole GAW? Maybe Satoshi Nakamoto himself. That’s who Josh’s huge silent partner is. No wait. Even better yet, Josh is Satoshi. He has used Satoshi Gawmoto. Satoshi did say he moved on. He must have meant he was working on Hashcoin. All hail Josh Gawrzatoshi.

Good, thank you. So it seems reasonable to assume that 1P62 is their main hot wallet, and it had a ~28k turnover in 2 months, which would make that part of WSJ validation correct.

I tracked a couple of my old withdrawals and they originated from 1P62 as well, about 10-20 hops apart.

Not sure how to prove or disprove the mining part though. They could say their coins have to go through a mixer to obfuscate "business secrets" therefore newly generated coins won't be directly linked. Perhaps something could be done tracking deposits, but I'm not about to try that since my withdrawals are not working.
