581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: June 14, 2021, 07:23:27 PM
Your future prediction since you made this thread was/is very accurate and I was also expecting a downturn for the markets because it was all going up only with so much buy volume increasing daily. When the time comes for profit taking, institutional investors or those who have made millions or billions start taking out their money by selling on small buyers (whose collective volume remains very low on the buyers' side if institutions stop buying it). It depends whether they go for small chunks to slowly damage the market or break it in a few moments.
582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 14, 2021, 07:12:00 PM
There is a high probability for a $20k (or below) btc as there is a rumor going on in markets that some whales will throw btc below $20k and buy back more to get much better gains they didn't get during this bull run as it was all Elon's game. I hope btc proves out to be something more than being a puppet of institutional investors like Elon Musk's Tesla.

585  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUD-slingers saying 20K this weekend... on: May 31, 2021, 11:52:36 PM
20k is not a one week game, it will be seen but it will take time instead of falling it like a home of cards fall because, if the false players do it that way, then the confidence of everyone will be shaken so hard they will suck out every penny from crypto and this will increase the size of the dump even further. 20k is possible till btc is under $40k and does not break that level with a considerable volume.
586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED? I went into the hospital cam out AND.... on: May 31, 2021, 11:23:42 PM
The market crash while you’re not in the front of monitor and there’s a lot of things happened for the past three
Weeks, there’s a lot of FUD spreading all over the market and that’s why we’ve reached this level. If you have a position in trading, monitor it always and if you are not able to do so, just play long term you’re still lucky that you didn’t put it on a futures, I’m sure you’ll be fully liquidated if ever.

True that. Op saved himself by not going for futures and I hope they did not go all in, because the saying clearly says that never put all your eggs in one basket so, if they diversified their portfolio, then this 10% loss will be recovered soon. Coinbase stock tokens will recover, they fell because the whole market was in red. I suggest you to calm down and wait for your chance to come after it regains.
587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcarra Bit-Crash Gaming Coming Soon on: May 31, 2021, 10:56:31 PM
Which cryptocurrencies will be available on your website to play with? Is your site limited to crash games or are there gonna be some exciting newly house made games for players to enjoy something new? I am bored playing same types of crash games and hope that you will bring something new on the table by adding extra transitions to this game to make your players very happy.
588  Other / Archival / Re: Is a demo account necessary for a beginner trader? on: May 31, 2021, 10:41:34 PM
I won't say there is a huge difference between demo trading and live trading but a slight change can be noticed in prices in demo and live, the spreads may differ and there may be wicks in demo or live (depends on how the broker plays it out) which can wipe out the position. But demo does give various experiences which can be helpful if learned correctly as it also depends on how the traders grabs the knowledge he expects from a demo trading account.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 31, 2021, 10:32:08 PM
Don't talk like a bootlicker, Op.
Btc shouldn't be alive? Btc brought this revolutionary asset class into existence, its Blockchain is one of the most secure Blockchains in the world, and who says it does not have any utility or use cases? Whatever Ethereum and other tokens have to offer, all the features were available in btc and can still be added to it. Cryptocurrencies exist because bitcoin was the first step, why shouldn't btc be alive?
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alts is best for atleast 1 Year Hodl? on: May 31, 2021, 09:29:17 PM
None of us here can suggest to you the best 5 alts for one year hold because anything can happen in crypto. Though, I may suggest you to invest in the top 5 altcoins based on their marketcap like dot, zrx, atom, bzrx, waves as all 5 of these have high profits potential with very less risks. Besides my suggestions, please DYOR and invest only what you can afford to lose and will not regret for their investments if it goes in loss.
591  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 31, 2021, 09:17:33 PM
I would only invest in casino investment pots if its organized by a reputable gambling outfit like stake. In the past, I've seen several crypto gambling sites went backrupt and couldn't payout investors capital not even the profits and they couldn't do anything about it because the casino had custody of all assets deposited in those pots. Well, that's that. I don't think stake/primedice would bring back the feature in the near future.

Right, those were the days of earning.
IIRC, one of the biggest investment pots was betking by Dean Nolan which turned out to be scam when they were unable to pay their investors and later came with an ico with that coin that blewed everything from investors and he denies that he didn't scam. Do you know which coin was that and what is its worth right now?
592  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 31, 2021, 08:53:20 PM
~Snipped
I wish if they open a pot some day to let all of their players invest something in it and gain a part of their profits.  Grin

Forgive my ignorance but are casino investbox still a thing these days? They were popular in the early days and a couple of sites had it but it wasn't successful.

Correct if wrong, but IIRC, Primedice also had an investment pot once in the very early days but the website is capable enough to pay even its biggest win players without any hassle. If I am not wrong, there are some casinos that still offer investbox to let their players invest in their website but I can't say how legit will their programs be, so DYOR before going for an investment on those casinos in present time because of increased scam rate.
593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 31, 2021, 08:09:48 PM
The team is one of the biggest in the cryptocurrency market and this is not the first time they are giving away huge amounts for their users and they are continuing this and the amounts of coins they are having is huge considering how big the price of Bitcoin is right now from where they started and hence it is not a big deal for the team and they do not need outside funds to give away these huge rewards.

Right, stake had been very generous in their promotions and has never been late to pay the winnings to their respective winners. Stunna and team had always been very punctual in their works, whether it is about managing Primedice and now, Stake. I wish if they open a pot some day to let all of their players invest something in it and gain a part of their profits.  Grin
594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 31, 2021, 07:56:30 PM
No. It is different from the trading on exchanges. But it's kinda similar. It is a game actually in which you need have to predict if the price will go up or not, you also have the bust price here.  For me it's almost the same with binance's futures, but not at all.

Does it work here like options trading if I want to give it a correct name? I see rollbit does not have sports betting section, am I missing it somewhere or is it not available on their website? The website has many good features to try out but I look mainly for sports betting games due to my better skills in a few sports. I will, however, make an account tomorrow to try this site and share my views on it. Smiley
595  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 31, 2021, 07:36:50 PM
LTC Trading is now live on Rollbit!

Nice to see you added new financial tools for leveraged trading. The Doge and Ltc traders have potential to gain higher ROI compared to Btc trades. Btw, asking 6 confirmations is a bit overkill to use deposit on website, for live games the instant deposits will be better Imo.

Trading? Is it a gambling website or a combo of gambling + trading all at one place? Is this trading a game or they are allowing their players to trade these coins with their gambling money? I do not make new accounts on new gambling websites, but if this is trading then this website is of my interest and I will create an account once I get the answer.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will energy consumption be Bitcoins downfall ? on: May 30, 2021, 11:46:38 PM
you need to go back and read the conversation so you know what we are talking about.

In a nut shell, I could care less about what an individual says but more in how people react.  If the consumer can use XYZ coin ( a very low power consuming POS) and achieve the same function, security and even better speed than High energy consuming POW BTC, then why not use XYZ

Every trader wants profits and their best bet is btc because they know how hard it has become for miners to mine it. They are keeping its price high because of the resources being used to mine it, making a direct correlation between consumption of resources to mine a btc and its present value.

Now, when talking about security, none of the PoS coins in my views can beat the security of btc, please draw me to one which can and I will think of changing my portfolio from btc to that xyz coin. If such a thing would exist, it would have taken over btc already. Every node validates a transaction making it more difficult for a hacker to break the chain and move that transaction his way. I agree that the speed of btc may be less if compared to so many altcoins there, but we still use it because we know the value it has given to crypto and is still adding it with its mining. And when all the alts (your PoS coins included) are created to provide the nearly same functions that btc gives, I would twist and turn your question and ask you: why not to use btc over them when they are only copying what btc did years ago? In the end, it is all about choosing the right coin and if btc is my right coin, I will go for it and you may go for your PoS coin. Smiley
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | 8 Years of Dicing | 90 Billion Bets | 113 BTC Jackpot! on: May 30, 2021, 11:36:45 PM
Indeed this is really commendable to survive continuous 8 years and still running very strong. Because in these years many sites have come and were doing pretty well but due to whatever reason has closed after working for couple of years or more or less. So in that way 8 years is a long time. More success to users and site.

They had tons of btc since they started and they were never pointed fingers at for anything like scam. Primedice had been very punctual both in deposits and withdrawals, and the game has always been a darling to me and I am sure to many. I wish Primedice and the team a very happy birthday and hope we have many more successful years to come. Smiley
598  Economy / Economics / Re: No new millionaires come from stock market in 2020/2021 on: May 30, 2021, 11:14:43 PM
The purpose of advertisements once was to make a difference by leaving a mark on the mind of average customers, now these advertisements have become a way to spread fakeness coated with truth and that is the reason for which, noobs are always going to be noobs no matter how experienced they become, because they are only being used to these rich guys' advantage. Corona is also one reason why there are no new millionaires being born in stock markets, but the story was not the same in regards to crypto.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 30, 2021, 10:29:19 PM
I didn't expect this but it has happened, Donaire won against Oubaali and I guess this will be the open gate towards the Inoue, this rematch will considering an act of revenge if he will able to win the match. Donaire now has on the record of (47 fights - 41 wins - 6 losses) it is very matching to Inoue.

My bad too as I made a bet at Oubaali but never thought that an underdog would beat him up. The game was lengthy as well as exciting to watch, specially the dangerously shocking performance of Donaire.
The left hook is still very dangerous, he looks dehydrated but his power is still their.
We got deceived, Oubaali was overrated but in the actual fight, we know who is dominant and saw it in our very eyes.

These type of wins show that favorites are not always the best and can be beaten up by underdogs who may seem to be underdogs but are not. Donaire was firm in his mind that he is going to win this game anyhow, and it was seen in all his punches. The match made me lose and learn a lesson here, but I was more interested in watching the game and seeing Donaire's aggressive performance, I take my loss as if I bought a ticket to watch it there.  Wink

Another attempt to bring the bullish price of DOGE.

Exclusive: Dogecoin Developers Say They've Been Working with Elon Musk Since 2019

Quote
In brief
Elon Musk has been advising the developers behind Dogecoin since 2019.
The team of four core developers has welcomed his advice but declined the funding he offered.

That information if true tells us one thing, Elon as an adviser has an influence on DOGE and he will surely protect his investment by shilling on the  project. we should not listen to him anymore, he is getting bias here on his evaluation of the project.

I think he has a very big portfolio in Doge and he is slowly moving out his funds in profit as, if he had been working with its devs since 2019, he may have bought Doge at $0.0015. He cannot dump it all at once, so he is shilling and bringing volume to Doge's markets to sell his dogecoins and make a very big profit from it. But as btc falls and alts follow, Doge didn't have anything special to keep it moving high. Even CZ joined Elon's army of shillers to shill about Doge.  Grin
