581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: October 31, 2021, 11:39:20 AM

Why? Because of cryptocurrency's volatility, prices would always go up and down, meaning you'll always have profits if you know how to be patient and wise about your decisions when making a trade. It's not just about buy low and sell high, it's more profitable when you know what's the right time to enter the market and buy a lot of high profitable coin.

It's too late if you'll always have doubts and watch others enjoy their success.

IMO there is no ideal time to buy or sell coin, it all depends on what strategy you are following. Of course there aren't many who bought BTC when its at 4000$ (Dec 2018) and sold it at 68000$. By looking at others, one should not lose the opportunities at his hand. Ever since this bull run started, we are hearing that its too late to buy BTC whether its 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k or 60k. If we look back at this year price run of BTC, surely there were many opportunities to enter the market.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Making the most from this bull run. on: October 31, 2021, 11:30:57 AM
Considering the fact that bitcoin is way stable after reaching its new ATH, the bull run is halted. More or less we have entered into stealth mode, neither we are loosing volume from the market nor new volume is being generated.

Yes BTC is stable around 60k$, it was previously stable around 50k$ (before Elon Musk Tweet comes). It seems to me that momentum is building for new bull run, may be we have next resistance around 70 -80k (just my own guess).

The current trend seems moving smoothly at all. I am expecting Bitcoin shouldn't dump huge (although I am waiting for a dump and take re-entry) unless coming out negative news. We can recall in the last bull run broken by Elon. So if something does not happen like this then Bitcoin should be stable above $50K and at the same time, alt should move forward as well.

You are not alone in the list of those who are waiting for BTC to fall, there are many who are waiting for this opportunity. The way BTC is behaving, I guess it is still good to buy BTC at 60k$. To me its very unlikely that BTC may go down to 50k$ from here, it will surely go up from here.
583  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Benefits Of Using Trading Signal Services And Tools on: October 30, 2021, 06:58:20 PM
Personally, I find it very irresponsible to rely on paid signals when making investment decisions. If someone doesn't know how to trade, they just shouldn't. In my opinion, paid signals simply prefer to get paid when someone else is risking money. They're just afraid to risk their own money.

Paid signals are highly not recommended. If they are that much capable then why they themselves are not making money on there own signals rather selling them for few bucks. Its your own hard earned money and it must be invested on your own decisions.
Take risk, either you win or you learn something.
584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: October 30, 2021, 06:38:28 PM
Hi everyone, I would like to ask a very simple question on how to start on crypto if that is what it is called. The idea for me is in hopes I can just earn here and there mainly to help with monthly expenses. Not looking to invest like 5 figures but more of like 3 to 4 figure ranges to create that monthly recurring for my expenses.

Its good to know that you are turning your attention towards crypto to meet your monthly expenses. One thing we need to understand is that earning profit from crypto is challenging, its not a piece of cake. Before you invest even 2 figure in crypto, I suggest you to please study the crypto market first. One great platform for learning crypto trading is this forum. You can read threads here or start your own thread if you wanna ask something. If you jump in crypto market without equipping yourself with necessary knowledge and tools you may end losing your money.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 29, 2021, 06:40:50 PM
I'am also like that ,sometimes I don't care about advertisements that pass on national TV but depending on how interesting the content and models offered by advertisements are if it's interesting maybe I'll go and contribute right away but if it doesn't or there's only moving animation like graphics in general then I don't care

people's thoughts different but ads that do not offer benefits or do not bring benefits to the necessities of life ,then most people will definitely skip ads by switching back to some movies or maybe some news ,inserting ads in some parts of the film or content is very helpful instead of having to wait for a break to advertise

During India Pakistan match, the price of 10-sec ad slot was 2.5 to 3 million Indian rupee (Source). I don't think those ads which OP is referring (relating to crypto) were broadcasted on TV rather may be on online streaming channels.
We cant ignore the impact of ads have on marketing and sale of product. Those who are investing such huge money knows what they will get in response. Crypto is different story, there are not many who knows what this is. They may just watch and ignore it IMO.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 29, 2021, 05:16:56 PM

@UmerIdrees, Afghanistan has played their 20 overs and they scored 147 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Pakistan bowled well. Afghanistan had a really bad start losing three wickets in quick time and that was a big setback. But I honestly think that under the circumstances Afghanistan played well enough because you know, the Afghanistan cricket team is not being funded by any government or organization right now and they went to play the world cup with the funding of Muhammad Nabi. So the team is in a really uncertain situation. Credit to Pakistani bowlers as they bowled really e economically. Pakistan just astarted batting and the win prediction says that Pakistan wins by 73%. But I think Afghanistan might have a chance as they have some world-class spinners in their team.

Whatever result of this game, Afghanistan really need an applause. They have performed exceptionally well, as they were underdog. Good thing is we are hearing positive news from new government regarding current team. Let's hope Afghanistan keep playing international cricket.
Pakistan right now are favorite since they need 38 more to win on 23 balls with 7 wickets in hand.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 29, 2021, 04:57:45 PM

Yes taking a knee is to support the movement that black lives matter. But in the case of India, Indian people are saying that there are a lot of problems going on right now in their own country and there has not been a single tweet about any of them and here we have the whole Indian team taking a knee to support a movement continents away. And the speculation about the Indian team being forced to do this is actually true, you and I was so surprised hearing this. And racism is something that ain't going to be solved if the people in power don't realize that it's a pretty big problem.

In RSA there is a clash going on for including Black players in the team. We know RSA used to be team of whites in 90s. Ntini was first ever black player who made it to national team. As far as bowing down for BLM is concerned, I think its decision of board that matters not the player. Since its the board that is sending players under the name of country.  Player individual opinion matters in leagues, in which player plays for some club.

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The president of El Salvador just bout 420 BTC! on: October 28, 2021, 05:07:39 PM
You can't really say this is a dictator, can you?

They bought 420 BTC, but I can't understand how they're so sure it'll go upwards. It's a whole country in the central America; their behavior seems like a teenager's who just learnt about the magic of Bitcoin in 2011 and bought bunch. I can't say Bitcoin is the least fluctuating asset at the moment and hence, the greatest investment strategy for a country.

Also, why would a dictator want to promote Bitcoin, a currency which is against their polity?

This happens if you don't have democracy and some insane person got the power. I don't know the reason of buying BTC at such high price by leader of the state? May be he is trying to become "COOL" as Musk.
They have made BTC legal tender but I don't think its a wise move, since decentralized BTC is all about democracy and not dictatorship.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 28, 2021, 04:55:33 PM
Cheating is very common in age group cricket, especially in countries such as India and Pakistan. The BCCI issues terminations to dozens of players every year for wrongly stating their actual age. It is not very rare to find 22-23 year old players participating in U-19 tournaments. This actually steals the opportunity from deserving players who don't cheat. The birth records are stored electronically in western nations such as England and Australia, and there it is not possible to do such fraud.

AFAIK there is no mechanism to identify the age of a player other then his birth certificate (correct me if I am wrong). Now in Pakistan and India birth certificates are issued by govt authorities electronically, so you cant modify record unless some insider helps you in doing that.

We all know that Munaf Patel did this to play in the IPL. He said he's 29 when he was actually 35.

I dont know how an international player can say about his age. His age is publicly available on sites like espncricinfo and in ICC data. There is no way an international player can manipulate his age.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 28, 2021, 04:42:49 PM

Pakistan seems to be in excellent form. And they really want to take revenge against the big 4 teams for refusing to tour their country. Their bowlers are in great form, and so are the opening batsmen. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf has taken important wickets, while the spinners have provided crucial breakthroughs while remaining economical. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored runs against India, while the middle order chipped in during the match against New Zealand.

No one was expecting this performance from Pakistan, since they were not part of IPL not many witness there player performance. In New Zealand game Asif Ali performance has silenced all critics. He was most criticized player for his selection in team but he managed to silence all by hitting three sixes. His batting turned the game for Pakistan.

The game b/w Afghanistan and Pakistan will be very interesting to watch. As Afghanistan has directly qualified for this tournament and is no more an associate team. Can someone share odds for Afghan vs Pakistan match?
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BNB facing resistance at that $500 level? on: October 27, 2021, 05:00:07 PM
Alts move with BTC price, as long as BTC is moving up we see alts climbing to new heights. The moment BTC start going down the party is over for alts. Alts dont have the capacity to move on there own. Having said so, I personally don't consider coins like BNB and XRP as cryptocurrency since they are controlled by a single entity and they have the capability to manipulate them, and this is something against the principle of decentralized crypto.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: October 27, 2021, 04:50:50 PM

Those are the only things I could think of right now. I wouldn't recommend day trading on a crashing market unless you have time and really good at it.

I really need to know who is good at day trading, whoever do so find himself in loss. HODL is best and tested strategy. The greed of becoming overnight millionaire will give you loss only.

bearish.. its called discount period.
the season of buy

Yup but majority run away from red market and buy only when its green. In other words, we don't become greedy to buy in bearish season.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 27, 2021, 04:37:48 PM
man united fans really worried now to see their team's and managers performance especially in the last 4 matches.
I really hope that Zidane is willing to accept requests as the newest United manager to make this competition getting interesting.
with a star-studded team I'm sure he will handle well.

Zinedine Zidane has no interest in becoming Manchester United manager should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer be sacked, according to reports in Spain. (source)
So the chapter of Zidane taking over as Man United coach seems to be over. If we see there last four matches then Man United performance against Liverpool is dreadful and that's something acceptable since Liverpool is a strong team. Other then that its one win, one lose and one draw. IMO they can still go up with current team provided they don't panic.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 04:27:15 PM
in 100 gambling addicts only 1 is really lucky with complete concentration and control.

Its a famous saying that in gambling a winner knows when to stop. I think same holds true for losers, you must know your limit when you must stop betting.

YOSHIE is right, OP you are not the first person who lost such huge money (provided 20k is USD not Korean Won), there are bigger cases of losing money. Done is done now, just relax and take some break from gambling. You need to device a strategy that how much you will spend on this entertainment.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance owns 82.69% of BNB on: October 26, 2021, 06:06:27 PM
Probably it's just a cold wallet of the Binance exchange. But yeah, this coin is centralized as the name suggests.
I can understand if 82% of token resides in the exchange, because you can take part in various launchpad, staking, etc. and when the exchange got busted, the token will be rekt alongside it.

Anyway, I'd be more cautious of the recent warnings from various countries instead of this address centralization stuff.

I have no idea that how much BNB is held by Binance but yes its a centralized type of digital currency just like XRP and such coins must not be mixed with decentralized crypto currencies like BTC, ETH etc. Once you identify something as centralized then any manipulation can be done with that thing whether its BNB or USD.
Worrying part is that we must

should i be worried of this?

No you don't need to worry about that part. Understand the underlying ideology of every coin first. If its centralized then its 100% under one entity control .
597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: October 26, 2021, 05:53:07 PM
Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
I think this will depend on each person, this is not a must before entering the market. You can learn the knowledge shared for free on google, youtube, read the news about cryptocurrencies on reputable online newspapers. If you want, you can still take courses, but choose reputable and highly rated courses.

With so much info and knowledge available free of cost its not wise to go for paid courses until or unless you find something extraordinary. IMHO, if you are new to trading then never ever start with huge capital rather start with a small capital, its a very common mistake made by new comers. One good resource for learning trading is bitcointalk.org, make it your habit to spend some time here daily if you are interested in learning trading.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: October 26, 2021, 05:42:34 PM
the main risk that comes to mind when investing in bitcoin is that you will lose money. due to bitcoin being a volatile investment, investing in bitcoin will not always yield gain but also losses, in fact your losses is much more likely to happen than your gain especially if you do not equip yourself the right knowledge when it comes to investing cryptocurrency. there are also different risks like using bitcoin for criminal purposes like money laundering and anonymous drug deals and such.

The volatility is double edge sword, it moves in both directions. Its because of this volatility you can gain huge profits and vice versa. If you don't like volatility and don't wanna take any risk then you can invest in government schemes where profit is fixed but its very much proportional to inflation. Its your choice what you want, no pain no gain.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2021, 06:05:30 PM
Everyone has their own target. Some will HODL until the target is reached, some will HODL until profitable, they will sell and buy when the price drops. I HODL bitcoin with 20% 30% of my assets, I only sell my bitcoins when there really is no other way, the remaining bitcoins I will hodl hodl till bitcoin reach 200k$.

Yes that's true. There is no precise answer of whats the ideal time to buy and whats the ideal time to sell. It all depends on your personal strategy. The main thing is you must not do greed when you are in profit, just set a target price and sell as soon as you are there. I still know people who buy BTC at 10k and still HODLing, waiting for BTC to reach 100k.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 25, 2021, 05:55:13 PM

Pakistan started 2017 ICC champion trophy with poor form but ended up wining the trophy.

Cant say about others but as far as Pakistan is concerned they are always unpredictable, they have the capability to beat any big team on any ground. Even in 1992 world-cup there opening performance was very poor but still they manage to win the 1992 WC. Yesterday odds were in favor of India but Pakistan win like they were playing with some associate team.

Hardik is not bowling and even in batting he came when only 2 overs left and that time as well he was not looking in good touch not able to connect the ball. And bhuveswar is not the same bowler that he was some years ago, instead of him india should play shardul thakur who is a wicket taker and got a good slower ball which would be very good in these conditions and will be handy with the bat as well.

I think Hardik is getting unjust criticism, there were 10 other members in team also that didn't performed well. IMO, Pakistan was just a better side then India yesterday. India team selection is perfect and they will perform well in remaining matches.
