581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin now so you don't have to regret it later. on: January 28, 2023, 09:31:03 PM
You knew about bitcoin since 2014, went through 2 bull and 3 bear markets and never cared to come to the biggest bitcoin forum on the planet? Better late than never! Cheesy

~snip~
^ Because there are people who don't get easily believe in BTC the same as me before, I have heard of BTC since 2015 but I don't what it is that is the reason I ignored it at that time, but after a year there is a lot of my friend talking about BTC until the such day I become influenced by them and I did not regret that until now BTC became a famous and very valuable asset.
Yes, it is not too late to invest, as long as you have money that can afford to wait for a long-term purpose, then, it is a good asset. People will regret will most likely seeing the price is on ATH but when there is a huge correction, it is always doubted.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: January 28, 2023, 09:22:27 PM
I just know that bitcoin had hit the lowest price of the year at $15k and after that, it bounced up again and eventually, the price of bitcoin reached the price we are seeing now. But to say that it's not the lowest price, I can't say for sure because it could go back to $15k and then drop even further.

But now the market conditions are better than a few months before so many of us can benefit. Their bitcoin investment is starting to show positive results. They can start selling it now or keep holding it until the next ATH is reached.
^So you mean there is another button price this year
Though it is unpredictable of the BTC price I did not see a reason BTC will again have a correction in that range, it could be there is a correction but it will not exceed $20k. I believed that this is the start of the bull market showing it is a healthy market, everyone was excited to see the new ATH who knows it could be this year even if the next halving did not happen yet. So if you have another way to spend without using BTC, I will do, because every sats now are very important.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 28, 2023, 09:15:10 PM
Can't handle myself as well watching those slap matches, I don't know how they handle such strong slap right after the match, for me its very inhumane. Well, if they have the consent to do that probably its ok for them but to other viewers, that's too much. Anyway, I see there's a huge number of followers already on social media so probably many are already interested with the Slap league, hopefully they are being treated well here to avoid any serious problem.
They could have such a powerful slap just by practicing hard every day. I couldn't bear to watch the match because I imagined that if I got slapped, I would immediately pass out and not wake up for several days. I don't know if the game has a lot of fans or if it still needs promotion to get the viewer's attention. Those who compete will get good treatment because they have given the best for the viewers.
^Have you heard the news about the Polish slap fighter who died because of the slapping tournament?
But even though how risky it is, it seems this kind of game has now regulated by some countries with some rules and regulations to make sure players will not put their lives in danger. If you have a large jew, this game is the best for you that can able to resist during the slap, I don't think how strong your brain inside your head if there is no damage after you will become a successful fighter of this game.
584  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 28, 2023, 08:57:56 PM
Invest only what you're willing to lose. This is the quote which makes or breaks gamblers to be honest. This quote applies to any area where financial investments are the priority which makes it even more important if you think about it.

Most gamblers who lose and end up destroying themselves ignore this quote completely.
^I did not find who is the first gambler who said this quote or who established this first or it just random advice that must gamblers should not be ignored. We have repeatedly said here and advice to people, "only gamble what you can afford to lose" this quote will remind gamblers not to become addicted to gambling. This is proved that gambling is just for fun not for chasing money, if you do, it will ruin you and probably be the reason for the addiction.
However, here is mine from my idol poker player.
“Gambling is not about how well you play the games, it’s really about how well you handle your money.” - V. P. Pappy
585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 28, 2023, 08:49:51 PM
The only downside that I can think of on the top of my head is the p2p nature of the game! We all know that regardless of how fascinating the game is, it's not going to get much traction if it's a p2p game especially on online crypto casinos.

P2P games is another feature which we do not find at casino or it is available very rare. Again we understand that casino does not gain much in P2P games but if they also introduce this feature, they can gather more people to come, deposit and play at their casino.
True, but I think this has more to do with the gamblers themselves than the casinos, if you take a look at sports bets you will notice there are a lot of sports in which you may not be interested or that maybe you have never heard of, and yet the casino offers them as there is a big enough player base for this to be the case, if casinos are not offering P2P games I think this is simply because there is not enough demand for them among their clients.
^The number one problem of the P2P games is the number of players that is active, without them no one will get interested in your casino.
If I did not mistake, here in our forum there is a p2p gambling casino that is actively before but probably for the same reason it is a lack of a number of players that result stopped operating their businesses.
However, there is a game that I most waiting for the virtual reality game in which we can gamble like a p2p game in one room using characters like avatars but I think that idea was slowly dying and not yet adopted.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 08:39:05 PM
~snip~

Secondly, imagine that on your first day of gambling, you gambled $200 and in the process, won money running into hundreds of thousands of dollars, you withdraw the money and start up your own business, and never returned to gambling again, isn't this one way to beat the house?
^This is not a gambler mindset.
A gambler will always return to gamble even if they win or lose.
But if you are going to ask my side if I were in that situation, of course, I will return and gamble but only those limited amount so that I know how to control my limit and probably the house cannot get back what I have won or it could be a long term but at least I am enjoyed.
That is why gamblers act, they never mind what they lose but if they will win they are very happy considering that they lose a lot more than they won. So if you are running away form that gambling casino, can you promise yourself to never gamble again? I don't know if there is a gambler like that.
587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the factor that affects the price of bitcoin on: January 27, 2023, 10:58:05 PM
~snip~
In your statement or ideas, what are the elements that can influence the price of bitcoin?
^There are too many factors that affect the BTC price.
Big news either positive or negative will somehow have an impact on the BTC price same as on FTX bankruptcy and the drama of Binance that creates FUD for the people which has an impact on the BTC price. These are some examples that we consider, fundamental analysis somehow is a good strategy for looking after the market when it comes to predicting the price. Though BTC is a very volatile price bit still it can be influenced by the price in different big events.
588  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Receiving Bitcoin on Coinbase from ledger? on: January 27, 2023, 10:35:53 PM
~snip~
Is there a way to make it faster next time?
Use fee rate estimation tools like mempool.space.
^This is very useful and I used this every time I wanted to have transactions on BTC, check always the mempool.space to know the accurate fee for your transaction fee, if you are not in hurry, use the low priority but if you want quick to pay the fee over the amount of the high priority option on mempool space. Something like 30-50 sat/vB depending on the network status.
However, if it takes a longer time, I usually used a BTC transaction accelerator which is there is a free service like viabtc.com and btcnitro.com, they offered free accelerator.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sportsbooks? (MMA and boxing) on: January 27, 2023, 09:39:54 PM
Anyone have any recommendations?

The best I have found is Chipstars, but again it converts to fiat to bet with.
I'd probably say stake, Roobet, and Rollbit since I personally did tried these casinos before and even these days but not regularly tbh. I haven't tried Chipstar before so just do your own research on that first. If I were you OP, try the reputed ones and weigh them if they are good or not because it's always a subjective thing even on choosing a casino or specifically a sportsbook.

OP is looking for a casino where when he deposits in bitcoin he can withdraw 1 bitcoin when he wants to withdraw, even if he wins and keeps 2 bitcoin and the price of bitcoin drops a lot OP could still withdraw 2 BTC, OP wants casino that does not convert crypto to fiat, I gave an example of the stake that they didn't convert to, I don't know if I'm not wrong, because when the person puts it to see the balance in FIAT, every time the price of the currency fluctuates, the person realizes that the balance is rising or falling

but when the balance is in cryptocurrency I see it and even when market prices go up or down the balance remains the same, I could be wrong about that
I think you're not wrong on that since Stake doesn't auto convert it onto fiat, they just have that "view in fiat" feature but if your balance is in crypto that will still be the same balance held on your account. Same goes for Roobet and Rollbit, I don't know what casinos are using that feature that turns crypto balance auto converts it to fiat, I haven't been on that casino though.
^As I have noticed, as long as it supports crypto as an alternative payment, that feature could be there, your balance remains in crypto until you wanted to withdraw it and the fiat must your another option of withdrawal, but at least not an auto convert into fiat.
I never played Stake so I did not give more reviews but in Rollbit, you will find what you are looking for. However @OP, you can try them all and see the result that your concern suits but I doubt you are comfortable with Rollbit if you will give it a try.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 27, 2023, 09:15:32 PM
gambling addiction really does fuck you up and the people around you. I feel bad for the other student who fell victim because of her gambling addiction. I get that addiction makes you do things that you won't usually do but it doesn't excuse what she did, I hope she gets a proper punishment for what she did.
^Probably she is hoping to hit the grand jackpot prize of the lottery but it won't happen.
The chances of winning the lottery are very thin and if you continue buying a ticket every day, it could be a big cost for you, that is why people should gamble an amount that they can afford to lose which is when made mistakes.
Poor girl, how come she becomes that kind of addiction? Though she gets proper punishment, but we hope that her study will not stop, it could be more ruin her life more when it comes to that point.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 27, 2023, 09:04:13 PM
As much as I want a royal flush, I have never actually gotten one. I suppose that the odds of getting a royal flush are extremely low. Beyond minuscule. And honestly I would not ever count on getting one. But man, how amazing of a feeling must it be to win with a hand like that? At that point when you realize how good your hand is, you plan a strategy of going all in without alerting anyone of your imminent and indisputable win. Grin

I think thats also just as hard. Imagine if you got a royal flush but everyone else folds because you go all in too soon? What a shame that would be..
^Nothing impossible with by your luck, actually I have hit that twice when I was playing poker and I know how is the feeling when you have that kind of card knowing that you are holding the highest hand in poker. The feeling that you are sure will win that round.
Royal flush, straight flush, and four kinds still consider me a strong hand in poker. When I have these kinds of cards I always call raise to increase the money on the betting pool. However, sometimes even if I don't have that kind of high cards bluffing sometimes will work.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Marking everything easier with MCL token gaming platform (casino) on: January 27, 2023, 08:49:35 PM
The MCL official website is https://www.mcl-token.io/ We hope you will enjoy our gaming experience and take advantage of our hundreds of exciting games, big jackpots, and generous promotions.

^Interesting gambling casino upon checking it, yeah it is very generous about the promotion, there is a faucet, chat rain, and a free bonus upon signing up, which is I think a lot. Probably I am afraid that it can be abused in the future, is there a way to filter this kind of activity in the future if there is someone abuse the promotion?
However, let me greet you first, welcome to the forum one of the biggest gambling communities, speaking of generosity, would you like to run here a signature campaign that is I think more effective? Though I saw some little bugs, but all went well and I think you will become successful here.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 10:59:53 PM
Casino is a serious business that requires a lot of funds and yes they may pay the winner with the loser's money but the casino need a huge bankroll to provide some confidence to their user and this will also make the casino to be fair with their game.
According to research, casinos that don't have bankroll always try all means to scam their users through games and they are always not fair with their game.
^So probably if a shady casino selectively scamming their players could be the reason they are running out of funds, I am right?
Or they will make a loophole that possibly freezes the fund of users once the TOS is violated.
That is why if we choose a gambling casino it should be a well-established casino that already operates for almost a year in service to guarantee good services and no shady activities that will happen because I agree that it is possible that a new gambling casino does not have a huge fund amount for its bankroll and probably the reason of some casino if you will withdraw a big amount it will take a long time before it will arrive in your wallet. It is possible we can ask a crypto casino to show their bankroll?
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 26, 2023, 10:52:44 PM
It's profit making machine, hehehe, that's why who invented casinos are brilliant because you will not lose business wise.
~snip~
^For the owner of the machine but not making a profit for the gambler.
If that kind of business won't profitable to them, I think they are slowly dying but yet, look at them now, the number has been increasing those who owned slot machines, even the online slot the grown like a mushroom that keeps coming up. So I think they are very profitable businesses, and those who gamble and fight against the house edge will most likely lose in the end, the more you will time you will spend the more chances of losing you have, that is the fact.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 25, 2023, 10:52:46 PM
Nonsense. What truly matters is whether the gambler can control his/her addiction regardless of the type of casino(Offline or Online). This is all common sense frankly speaking op.

Also, there are self-exclusion protocols available in both online and offline casinos which help a lot in controlling gambling addiction.
^Definitely right, it is not about gambling if you want to control addiction, it is in yourself that starts how to control addiction.
That is why online gambling casino is now the same as mushroom, they keep coming and competing with each other because there are a lot of people who gamble, and most of them can't control themselves which turn into an addiction. So either offline or online casinos it becomes addictive if you don't have control over yourself. The massive growth could be, it is too accessible but not the reason you will become addicted.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 25, 2023, 10:37:19 PM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
^I don't think so because I have seen successful casinos those are accepted a wide variety of coins accepted.
People now are wanted always a convenient way of funding casinos, sometimes convenience and privacy always matter to players who are looking for a good casino. We have here a lot of gambling casinos, and I noticed those casinos successfully making a profit are those that accepted a wide variety of coins and have a lot of games. However, you can try to market it because it depends on how you will manage the marketing strategy, if you search Bustabit and Bustadice, they had 1 one of the games still yet they exist now.
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Going to win 6000 usd on a ufc bet 21 january (listen to me and double your mone on: January 21, 2023, 09:55:12 PM
i will bet against u
dont like ppl who brag for nothing
enjoy being poor then.
^Both of you do not make any sense, you need to prove it here about your prediction, it does not mean you won now it will happen again in the future, this game is more likely based on luck. Show your proof if you are predicting the right team that will win, is not simply guessing who will win it needs study and background checks, sports betting is also based on luck games and you will increase your chances of winning by knowing their background. Because that is not a fixed game you will know the advanced result. Just show your proof and I think everyone will follow your thread, believe me, because that is how the forum works, it needs transparency.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to be great? Then be ready to learn. on: January 21, 2023, 09:44:06 PM
I would suggest that everyone should have a five-year plan. A bitcoin/crypto learning plan. It should be clear enough and broken into months, quarters, days. Know the best way to learn - some people learn faster through audio-visual, some learn through text, and some learn through both ways. The onus now lies on the individual to pick the best learning and most efficient method go ahead.
^If you want to learn, there are too many things to learn and everything that you wanted to learn is on the internet OP was in the right place, a community like this has a good impact on the newbie to learn more in the future. Look at those people that have zero knowledge of BTC, they will mostly call it a scam or a Ponzi project because they don't how it will work, and they don't understand BTC. Most people will have interest if they saw someone who has successfully gained profit, that is our culture, to believe what you see, it is a matter always of money.
However, we can help other people too and encouraging them about BTC, the more adoption the more BTC price will pump.
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 21, 2023, 09:33:54 PM
we all know no one can controls the bitcoin price because bitcoin isn't like bank, stock and valas. but if the whales owned 51% of bitcoin, can do it?. if happen, does decentralization not exist?
^ That needs a lot of financial support if you wanted to hold 51% of BTC, I dont think there is a whale will risk at that high amount, whales can move a certain price but that is not a lot, it could be a huge loss into their pocket too if they will do this. There is no one controlling the price even how rich you are, it depends on how the adoption will grow. Decentralization still does exist as long as the BTC network is still there that publicly seen transactions, remember the purpose of BTC and why it was created.
However, besides worrying about this I think you need more research and study about BTC.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 21, 2023, 09:28:16 PM
I am a bit late to share an answer for this one but I would still explain why most airdrops don't pay participants with the tokens being airdropped by the project owners. To tell you honestly, it is a complete waste of time if you want to participate or join in any airdrop. As I have said, airdrops not paying participants is one of the reason why the participants not getting paid which is very obvious. The second is that the owner is either very busy managing the project, very lazy, telling lies to people where they said they pay their participants when they join the airdrop. Third, I don't think that airdrop is still a trend until today unlike few years ago. Fourth, airdrops doesn't reward that much or you will only receive small amount of money minus the transaction fee and more fee.
^In addition, because it depends on the project itself if they have a failure, they will not get pushed through which means most of them will abandon if seeing they did not succeed which is all projects now don't have a real utility or it is repeated by other projects.
It could be the main reason is project failure, or once if they will succeed, they will pay only a small amount, because not all projects will have an amazing value after listing on the exchange, they will eventually encounter failure which if they don't survive that is the reason they don't have value.
So that is definitely right don't waste your time in airdrop hunting, it is worth nothing as of now.
