Overnight success is what many are still thinking that it's easy to achieve. But they need to understand that if someone gets an overnight success, the thought of taking care of that success won't be a lot.

And that is because that success was taken easily. While those that have taken the success coming from the tough times to the strategies that they're able to apply and they became successful, they're giving more importance to that success.

It's because they don't want to take it for granted and it's the same for investing or holding Bitcoin. We held for a long time and we want to sell at the best prices.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: April 22, 2024, 11:52:52 PM
When the savings money in the bank is lost because the bank is robbed as you said, they will indeed experience bankruptcy, but I think they don't seem to be silent, maybe they will replace our money that has been deposited in their bank.
There's a solution to this and that's through not depositing to a bank that's new to the business. But about those banks that have been in the industry for so long, you have no problem with them because they've got insurance if ever something unexpected comes.

And if they ever file for chapter 11, there's always the contingency plan that the customers will be insured with their money.

But the moral lesson here, don't deposit all of your money in the bank. And this plays the important role of Bitcoin and as they say "be your own bank".
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: April 22, 2024, 11:19:03 PM
Today i was just analyzing the chart and it looks like #Bitcoin is about to print new highs! I was smiling and not quiet long I carried out a transaction, I did not believe my eyes, I was devastated, the whole of my bitcoin was gone for transaction fee.

And I began to wonder is this what the Bitcoin Halving is all about???
Nope, that's not halving is all about.

Just like the other concerns about the fees on other networks, the bitcoin blockchain is experiencing some kind of spam or attack from the runes that have been making the demand higher so the price reflects on it.

This isn't the first time that it did happened, way back on 2017 EOY it also happened and last time early this year, it happened due to BRC20 and ordinals.
584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading campaigns helps level up trading for traders on: April 22, 2024, 10:49:45 PM
Those that are good can join them but for someone like me that don't trade a lot but wants to make some profit, maybe if you're qualified to join and just want to experience how it goes, you may try to go.

The incentives that the traders will get there could also help them more with their trades if ever they win. Those prizes are good amounts and encouragement to those that are good in trading.

But, there's always the minimal requirement that's needed and it's not for everyone to join.
585  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you care if your play to earn game is fun? on: April 22, 2024, 10:24:42 PM
Gone are the days of the play to earn that they're all fun. I'm starting to see a bunch of them trying to revive their own communities and market and pump their tokens.

Of course we do care if the game is fun and games are means to be enjoyed and have fun with it.

I even go back to the games that I used to play in the younger days of mine even without these gamefi things.
586  Other / Off-topic / Re: after the halving on: April 22, 2024, 09:47:36 PM
Everybody will wait for your distribution here mate thank you lol.
Thank you indeed in advance.  Tongue
but looks like OP broke our heart mate because now he abandoned us after promising the distribution  Cheesy Cheesy Angry
Haha.

I was expecting that. Someone who's a real generous will just have to ask for the bitcoin addresses that we have but maybe because of the fees that are so much now.

There's a need to reconsider for altcoin addresses. I didn't really rely on these giveaways by a random stranger but if ever OP proves us wrong then, what a hero he is.  Grin
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 22, 2024, 09:18:05 PM
USDT or any other altcoins that have a cheap transfer. Doge, LTC and even TRON are the other choices of most of the gamblers for altcoins gambling. USDT is fine because you get the actual value of it, but you should also choose the network where you'll send it because ERC20 is not cheap anymore.
More casinos use the Tron Network because it is cheaper and faster, Stablecoins on the Tron Network are also an option.
And some other networks are usually also available, but for ERC20 it still seems quite expensive.
They aren't dropping the support to the ERC20 but it seems that the tron network is more stable than the other in terms of fees.

That's why those stable coins gamblers, they have this option and it's easier for them to deposit and they won't be problematic about the fees because it's still fine and doable.

But to the bitcoin gamblers, much better to wait until the fees become more stable.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streaming community are getting worst!!! on: April 22, 2024, 08:47:31 PM
That's okay, it is their choice and just like us we're promoters of casinos. But their difference is the viewers that they have an idea that can be seen by kids.

Unlike here, most of the folks here are old enough to handle themselves and that's why it's fine for me because we all have our choices. That's their livelihood and they're living on the sponsorships that are being paid by the advertiser.

They can justify that gambling is still gaming, isn't?  Cheesy
589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be confused, bitcoin halving doesn't translate into bitcoin All time high on: April 22, 2024, 01:25:10 PM
My advice
Don't buy bitcoin because you assume that bitcoin price will skyrocket after bitcoin halving, that is a wrong mentality that could lead to depressing results if that failed to happen.
Seriously, everyone is buying because of the anticipation that after the halving the price of Bitcoin is going to skyrocket.

There's nothing wrong with that. But it takes time and now we're done with the halving, everyone is on the waiting game.
590  Other / Off-topic / Re: 6 cryptocurrencies I bought after the halving on: April 22, 2024, 11:53:56 AM
With all that you've mentioned, I only know TON. And you've made a thread about DRN and it seems that you're holding a lot of it.

I can't search any information about it even on coinmarketcap, there's no data that shows that crypto ticker.
591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need Advice for Cheap Swapping on ETH on: April 21, 2024, 11:54:32 PM
You just have to check it from time to time if the fees have dropped a lot or they're still stupidly high. Don't do a transaction when you can't bear the fee.

This is an inborn sickness of Ethereum that will never get solved. Especially, if the transactions will be done on DEXes, you expect to have some additional fees within it.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 21, 2024, 11:21:25 PM
You can hear what Michael Porter has to say about his brother here,

https://twitter.com/ClutchPoints/status/1781916633726058800

Quote
“some bad and sad stuff happening with a couple of my brothers. But I've got, you know 15, 16 more brothers in here. I knew I had to be here for them.”

It's like saying he is ok and life has to move on for his other siblings, the two brothers who are in trouble are old enough to decide their fate so Michael needs to be on his brothers who are not mature enough to decide for themselves
That's good to hear.

But with this issue, he can't do anything but just to move on. So, if his brothers have already somethings to deal with their own lives, it's out of the scope already.

And as for everyone, we all just need to move on. He's already received that lifetime ban, means no coming back but hopefully he'll bounce back with any career that he'll do in the future.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 21, 2024, 10:45:41 PM
Gambling with Bitcoin is not a good idea even if the fees aren't as high as they are right now, at least I don't like it.
It's fine to gamble with BTC if the fees are bearable and cheap but if the situation is like this, I'll be the first one to stop.

It's better if you gamble using stable coins because it makes it easier for you to keep a count if you are using a stable coin such as USDT, you will know how much you are using as the bet, how much you had, how much you have lost or won, etc., but if you are gambling with Bitcoin, it wouldn't be that easy and you will need to see the conversion of Bitcoin to USDT first to find out what you are trying to see.
USDT or any other altcoins that has a cheap transfer. Doge, LTC and even TRON are the other choices of most of the gamblers for altcoins gambling. USDT is fine because you get the actual value of it but you should also choose the network where you'll send it because ERC20 is not cheap anymore.

People who use Bitcoin for gambling might not agree with me, but that is what I think and it is what I do when I'm gambling for better clarity.
It's okay, to each their own.

This is good news, I hope we get back on track and when we do, the fees should be back on track as well and calms down.

Thanks for the update Boss.
595  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do game gift packs appeal to you? on: April 21, 2024, 09:49:44 PM
ShanHai: New Rise is coming soon! Don't miss out on this free gift pack! You can use this gift pack in ShanHai: New Rise to upgrade your character and make money faster than others!
Come on, I don’t believe there are people in this world who don’t like to take advantage
You just said about this shanhai but you have never explained what it is. It's best if you have given us some idea because if we're truly interested on it then we're going to research about it.

But as what you've said, this is like a shill from you and that's kind of disappointing because we thought that this is going to be more of a discussion about gift packs on the games that we play.

If I'd answer that, definitely yes but not with your shanhai.
596  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can cryptocurrencies affect the global financial market? on: April 21, 2024, 07:24:54 AM
Can cryptocurrencies affect the global market right now?
Yes.

As you can see, some other markets are being affected or just say that it is a coincidence that when cryptos goes in a bull run, they are also going in a bull run.

Think that crypto has  4 year cycle and is it still a coincidence when, s&p 500 and other stocks goes on a bull run too?
597  Other / Off-topic / Re: The act of getting loss when writing.. on: April 20, 2024, 10:52:19 AM
There is no need for any tool about that. I think if you're pointing out about the "quoting" of posts and replies, you can do that and you can answer or reply the posts that you think you're able to answer or give your point on them.

This is the beauty of the forum, you'd see people that are really intellectual as you've exampled JJG and have good insights about the topics that they're discussing and not leaving there because it's an interesting topic for them to discuss. Aside from him, there are others in many topics that they're good at so, make reading a habit first to gain knowledge so you can write better.

What you have to think of instead of the tools you're looking for is about genuinety of your replies. You don't need to have AI about it because to give you a reminder, if you're going to use AI tools that will write for you, you'll be in trouble. Maybe some tools that will correct your grammar might be fine but not entirely the ones that will generate posts for you.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: April 20, 2024, 09:33:46 AM
Excited but it's not that exciting anymore compared before because you know, you have the idea on how it is going to do after several months of wait.

Doing DCA a few months ago will certainly provide more benefits, it will look bigger when the new ATH is reached.
This is the exciting part.

Waiting for how high Bitcoin is going to be after the halving, it's all set that we'd see a new ATH although we've seen it already before halving comes.
And the effect will not be immediately felt, it will take several months after the halving that the price will take on dramatic rise, and we could be seeing like at least 6 digits for this halving. One thing to note though, after this halving, the transaction fees has increase so much. This could be that just miners pulling the plug, or it's because of the Runes protocol, not sure about that. Nevertheless, if we take out that issues, yeah, pretty much we area all looking as what to be the new all time high. So far the price is stable at $64k-$65k. And good now for those who have DCA for years, and so they could just have sit down and relax and see how everything goes. Or better yet, just continue to accumulate even if we are in the bullrun.
Yes, effect won't be immediate.

This is a long game and everyone who are new to this need to be patient. If you're not patient and you're expecting it to happen asap, you're expectation won't happen.

You need to be patient and things are going to be surprisingly high when you've got that patience that the market is requiring us.
