Men's violence against women must end.
Nowadays, it's not just always about men that does violence.

-Are you for or against equal pay for women? And why?
I am for equality, whatever is the rightful pay for each efforts then it should be retaliated with the correct pay. No matter what task you do, it should be aligned with the pay.

Long time before, it's okay to argue and say that only men build roads. But in modern times, skilled and professional women have their own contributions with those too.

Can you give us advice from your personal experience  in crypto!?
Patience really pays off.

You may not seem to notice how important holding is but take it from the OGs who have bought Bitcoin early and then just did nothing but held it.

They're the most profitable ones even if you compare them with the greatest meme coin gainers. It pays off to be patient and that's one big lesson that I've extracted from being on this market.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake and Bruno Mars An Example of How Gambling Addiction Can Affect Anyone on: March 18, 2024, 01:42:57 PM
I've been reading a lot of news about him and the amount of speculations and rumors that appear on social media, especially on X. Even if we say that Bruno Mars has not released a statement yet, there are a lot of people giving comments and mostly people seeing him gambling in a casino in Las Vegas but X turned down the tweets about him especially the ones with attached photos of him, so it seems that all the news about him is true. Tho, there is nothing wrong if he gambles because he is using his own money, but he has many fans who are under the age of minors and he can be a bad influence on them, especially if he gradually neglects his career.
Well, that can't be denied by those who have witnessed him to gamble there and are aware of his debt. While there's really no problem at all but the figures that's being shown isn't normal for us because we're just plebs but for a celebrity like him, I think that there's a problem if it's becoming a debt.

I think enough of people surrounding him have already known about it, he didn't need to come out and tell the world about his addiction, what good can anyone do for him to help him get rid of his addiction in any way?

I don't care about getting to know if truly he is addicted or not, it won't get me paid in any way and it won't stop so many beginners from getting addicted too.

Anyone can become a victim of addiction, either they are politicians or musicians or big figures in the world today, it doesn't matter, as good as gambling can get, it can also turn into a poison for your heart.
Yeah, we won't benefit from knowing if he's addicted or not or whether he's got that tons of debt because of his addiction.

But if the people that's surrounding him will give some help but he won't agree and obey, it's really his own fault of getting onto that point and only himself can help him.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake and Bruno Mars An Example of How Gambling Addiction Can Affect Anyone on: March 17, 2024, 11:12:14 PM
I've seen headlines about Bruno Mars getting addicted in gambling and even has got a debt of $50M in Vegas. I don't know if that's for real but with a lot of news coming out and those headlines that have published it all together.

It's very likely that the news is true.

But I haven't seen him release a statement about it but if it's true then there's no need for him to hide it and just say that it's real and will pay the debts.
Well he can pay it silently without releasing a public statement. After all, he does not an owe an explanation from us. However, I must say that gambling addiction will not bring positive effects in our lives, but it will only worsen the situation and put our lives into misery. Regardless of your position in life, VIPs or non-celebrities, still one should gamble responsibly. Gamble only for fun, not to chase instant big profits, as it’s seldom to see big winnings in gambling casinos, but it often lead us to losing all our funds.

Big time celebrities are not excused from gambling addiction. Although they can hit one time big time winnings, but most often they can lose all their millions in just a blink of an eye. That’s why it’s not surprising anymore to see such big time celebrities who are gambling addicts eventually fall into being homeless and losing their careers eventually.
Yeah right.

He doesn't owe an explanation to anybody but he's a public figure and these news are going to put stain to his image. But it's up to him whether he'd give that importance to these news that came out that deals about him and his gambling addiction and debt.

IMO, it's a big thing that he has to clear and make sure that it won't affect his image. But whatever he does, it's still not going to change the fact that he's still a big celebrity and I hope that he's not one of the many celebrities that have experienced fame and riches to lose everything.

This might be the effect of his lazy song?  hehehe Grin

586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 09:16:52 PM
It's good you later realized yourself and changed your gambling pattern.
When a gambler admits his mistake, he's truly going to learn from that experience that he did and unlikely going to repeat the same mistake. Although this is gambling and we're not going to win at all times.

But his admission is going to lead him to the right decision making when he gambles. This is where the gamblers lead on how to do the right approach because not everyone can admit their mistakes.

Realization will always hit at the end and not all gamblers have the understanding to this because we're mostly falling victims of our own pride when we're losing.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Faketoshi saga is now coming to a close... on: March 17, 2024, 08:27:35 PM
But he should stop his madness, before he got the label as the "crazy guy" in crypto world. Or he's been already is known to a lot as the crazy one.  Grin
There is now the basis for his madness and for being imaginative. If the time comes and that he won't stop, people will just throw the decision of the court.

That's much better preference as there's the basis and it's the court that had told him to stop him being crazy and it is nonsense to make people believe that he's satoshi.

And it's not just being told by the courts but has been spread quickly by the publications.
588  Other / Off-topic / Re: Taking profits vs bitcoin value on: March 17, 2024, 07:39:18 PM
Thanks for the reply. I'm not taking profits at the moment. I am 'hodling' because I expect the Bitcoin unit price to increase quite a bit. But at the same time, I don't want to acquire more bitcoin at this high price because if the unit price eventually falls below the price that I paid for it, then this higher price purchase will start to detract from my profits. I don't want that at this point. I would prefer to take profit in something stronger than the failing US currency. Just saying. You can comment if you like. Thanks
That's fine.

That's your investment so you have all the might to do whatever you want with it. If you don't feel to take some profits right now then don't do it and just wait for the market to be up and be more than the past price but we don't know when it can be achieved.

And about taking more bitcoins through buying at this rate, if you feel that it's quite expensive, you're free not to continue DCAing as no one forces you to do so.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proverbs and Sayings that Act as Triggers to Gambling on: March 17, 2024, 10:34:28 AM
2. Eventually you will hit the jackpot but most likely by then you will have spent more money than you have won.

We could make a similar analysis of the rest of the proverbs.
I am relatable to this.

It is what I have always been hearing from those that cant accept losing and instead, keep on going on because what they are up to is to continue gambling and has that thought of what if they stop, luck could have been there for then.

Another one, "you wont lose if you dont gamble" tell this to a gambler that is in losing streak and they will be triggered.
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are your assets safe on Kraken?? on: March 17, 2024, 06:33:43 AM
Updates are normal for the apps to get the latest security protection for their users. But even if they will keep on updated, the best security is that you hold your own crypto but not through Kraken or any exchanges.

You have to practice your own security by handling your seeds and deposits. This is why we are our own bank in here because we handle our own funds and assets.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Bank on: March 16, 2024, 10:47:25 PM
Anyone who is familiar with digital bank?  All I know is that, unlike traditional bank, they do not have the bank building hence saving them from all costs related to it.  In my country, they are offering higher interest rates returns compare to their traditional bank counterpart.  Anyone knows the reason why they can do that?
They offer higher interest rates because their cost of operation is lower than the typical bank. That means that those rental expenses and other expenses from the branch is easily diverted to the depositors interest and that's why they can afford to pay depositrs higher interest rates.

Also, what is the pros and cons of using digital bank instead of traditional bank?
Pros: convenient

Cons: you as a depositor, you don't feel that you've deposited in the bank because their operations are digital and you have no physical location to complain with if ever you are in trouble.
592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stay off any missed opportunity on: March 16, 2024, 09:46:06 PM
I don't know if here is the right place for this post,  but if it's not, please redirect it,.
For the short time I have been into this crypto industry, I have observed and experience many things, especially when trading the spot market, it's very important that you stay off any missed opportunity,  like if a coin has already rise to a very high figure, don't just try to look if you can salvage something out from that particular market, because the price of that particular asset  might collapse on you, you will be used to clear liquidity, so it's best you look for another opportunity, in another asset, than to try try to salvage something from the missed opportunity.

I know that most of us here might have experience such before, and have been used to clear liquidity in the past, but it's very important we learn from them, opportunities are countless in the crypto industry, what is required is just patience, just wait for another opportunity than to do anything that will make you lose money.
As they say, "don't catch the falling knives".

I've done that before and thought that it's a good idea but in the end, I'm always getting stuck when I have to cut loss or else I have to go with the further losses because of the wrong entry and buying at the top.

Many investors and traders does this and for this reason, many are discouraged to go on with the newer projects. Unlike if we just DCA our favorite crypto to HODL, we don't have any problems from doing so and we'd be happy to keep as much as we can.

I feel bad for kuku. I think this is the 2nd time that his stack didn't qualify. Despite their good efforts on the playoffs and their journey at the upper bracket, they still fallen shortly when they've been beaten yesterday and this few moments ago.

There's a problem with his picking and he should have picked much better easy heroes and comfort heroes of his teammates. The last game that they have against Talon, it's a complete disaster and totally outplayed. How they can face these strength and tough heroes when their heroes were squishy and can't even deal damage against them.  Undecided

I am not a muslim but I have much respect for our muslim brothers and sisters and that's why I am greeting all of you Ramadan Mubarak.

Regardless of the religion or community that we are in, all of us have one goal in life and that's to live our lives peacefully.

And may you be blessed more with all of your sacrifices and fastings.
595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My opion and btc outlook for the next 2 years. on: March 16, 2024, 10:58:21 AM
So 60k-68k is good buying price then from here we go 110k then let's what happens.
But after 110k the next btc lowest support price will be around 90k.
So the main numbers for next 2 years 60k base level then 110-120k and then support 90k-100k.
That will be a fine support if we go ahead to $90k after hitting $110k but we have to see it actually first. Two years is going to be long because that's likely the bear market so up to 1 year, we have to see it go $100k.

Today Im loading up my bags Solana doge xrp xlm ada and eth Tron mostly for up coming alt season.
Good luck, sol is doing a great job and it's on the trend and many other projects especially the meme coins are operating there.
596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 16, 2024, 09:58:10 AM
This is a hot topic on every community even in the working folks community. It's not that urgen that we give loan to anybody.

We shouldn't be forced and sacrifice our needs if ever someone is going to loan money from us. Just tell them that we're no bank and we have our own needs to cater.

It's simple as that and with that reason, that person won't ever approached you whether they'll take a loan or not and that's fine.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest in BTC or MicroStrategy MSTR? on: March 16, 2024, 08:56:50 AM
You're in a Bitcoin forum and everyone will say that they'll invest on BTC obviously. But those that are from outside and are fans of traditional investments, they'd choose MSTR or if they're looking at the market, they'd choose BTC too.

Most of us here are more familiar with the move of BTC and that's why it's an easy answer that everyone is going to buy that rather than going with MSTR.

But if you're a diversified investor and you're also optimistic with MSTR, then you choose what you think is right for you as an investor and as part of diversification.
598  Other / Off-topic / Re: Surge in Investor Interest Boosts Cryptocurrency Market on: March 15, 2024, 11:53:34 PM
That's typical to see that there's a surge of investors confidence and number of them getting into the market while we're in the bull run.

This happens usually because most of these investors are starting to feel the essence of FOMO. They don't want to be left behind and for that reason, it is what's making them want to get in before they're too late.

But I am also expecting that many of these investors are impatient and don't understand the importance of being patient on this market because they probably have a different belief on the market that this is a quick market that might give them an overnight success which is possible but unlikely to the majority of the new ones.
599  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto excites everyone on: March 15, 2024, 11:24:47 PM
One of the positives of  digital currencies is that it provides an investment opportunity for everyone
Everyone is jumping to invest in crypto, young and old, , celebrities, businessmens, and even governments.

What if all countries in the world relied on crypto  in the future, what would happen?
It is a utopia that the world will rely on crypto in the future. While we're all optimistic that it might happen in the future but we're starting to see the reality that most countries won't allow it to happen because they have their own monetary system and as well as their currencies.

They can't be dependent to a market that's highly volatile that's being influenced by the people that are part of that community and market.

I'm totally if this happens in the future but I am already good that we get no ban from them and they're just so supportive to see the crypto market's progress without having that involvement of negativity from them.
600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HELP! ANY OF THESE TRADING PLATFORM ARE LEGIT? on: March 15, 2024, 10:52:05 PM
It's okay to be asking questions at all times when you're unsure of what you've found. But obviously, when you have the idea and guts about those platforms, don't force yourself and your curiosity into knowing them more.

I see that you've got the idea about the legitimate platforms and centralized exchanges. This is the reason why many are choosing them over unknown platforms is because of their reputation and they're unlikely to scam you with your money because they're all registered.

Avoid those platforms that you're asking and stick to the ones with reputations and known by the community despite them being a cex.
