And sorry if using provably fair term offense most of you , i will use txid fair term until we edit the system
Correct terms would be " hopefully fair" and " result calculation by TX ID" (with no correlation between the two) Overall, it's just that the bitcoin community loves the " Don't trust, verify" mentality with bitcoin itself, but also with gambling sites. RGBKey was merely trying to say that your solution isn't provably fair (at all) especially after you said " it's the best provably fair option" lol. Obviously if it's not provably fair, you can't promote it as such either. Anyway, I don't think you had/have any bad intentions or that you are trying to cheat anyone. It is just that it is really not provably fair (and TBH you were a bit ignorant about it in this thread - RGBKey made some of the first verifiers back in JD times lol, he isn't some random shill.) But sounds good that you will improve the system I think a nonce-method where you give a hash before the first bet and ask the player to give their client seed would be perfect with this Telegam setup.

Nice, that seems like some huge value. Any bitcoin poker player should have a look at that

Why would someone (especially a new guy) saying hi in chat be against the rules lol. "Short messages" would probably be saying "lol" every minute (I am not hanging out on crypto-games much, so I don't know any further details or about your mute.)

Why not list bustabit and bustadice on the front page?
Well bustabit isn't really a dice site. On new version of my site I made a filter so you can still show it, but unfortunately I didn't work on it for over a year. One day.. lol. Bustadice was relatively new. I only add popular sites that have been around for a while (even though trusted Ryan is auditor on there.) However in less than 2 weeks bustadice will be 6 months old, so I just added it to frontpage PS, on an unrelated note, there was an issue with the bitsler verifier for the game "multicolor" where I calculated the correct roll result but incorrect color/payout multiplier for specific rolls (it seems mostly roll 8-11.5); this is fixed now. PS2, I noticed SafeDice hired a support guy, so that is great to see I will just observe for a bit more and then re-add them if it looks like their support is really improved.

Does anyone here also can't use Electrum? Electrum 3.1.1 was just released with updated Trezor T support: https://electrum.org/#download (3.1.0 also had support, but there indeed were some issues - so maybe this fixes it for you too.)

i did the problem is that they dont factor in the client seed They do, like I said before. Read their FAQ if you are unable to understand how the client seed affects the result: https://help.bitkong.com/english/provably-fair-game/how-to-check-positionsand i have seen them change it They do this after you get the new serverseed hash in your own browser (client-side.) This is done in the JS function "generateClientSeed". That is exactly how they should do it. If they keep the same clientseed for every game, that would be bad. so that they can easly change and genrate results they deem correct They cannot change/generate results because you get the hash before the bet and you generate a random clientseed in your browser after getting the hash - which directly affects each result. .. and the work you did was just saying what provable fair is there is many many ways to create false provable fair system There can be indeed some mistakes or possible improvements in a provably fair implementation. For example, if they would generate the client seed serverside or if they send it before the player gets the hash, etc. I have verified many sites on these (small) technical details and found possible improvements for several sites, including Crypto-Games, BetterBets, Rollin, etc. (and they normally improve it quickly.) After your posts I verified BitKong for the technical details of their provably fair implementation too and my conclusion is that their implementation looks fine.

Site back online. Yes, it does update the chart during the day, the last day just gets increases slowly during the day. So at "7 Mar" it was showing 0 bets earlier, which means 0 bets since 7 Mar 00:00 EST/NY time and indeed proof the site was down (or no players lol.) Right now it shows 470 bets since site is back online. (That being said, one day I hope to have hourly chart options which would make this easier )

If you know any other (local) ones or if you have experiences with some of these, please share it here PS, it seems like flybit.in disappeared overnight. This is a good example of how any of these sites could be a scam. Do your own research in finding the reputation of these companies!

yeah i have found exactly how they scam people
they just set the client seed to whatever they want if you change it they change it back to what the server generates so theres a losing bet
it will verfiy because they control all parts its like a scam 99dice pulled a while back it only vefies because theres no real player imput and the server genrates whatever results they want
I did all this effort to verify if they generate the client seed correctly (specifically after your previous posts) and then you just ignore me (: second i dont need proof about provable fair check any games on the website and you will see they dont factor the clients seed also they provide no way to verfiy for normal clients not knowing more about provable fair
other then there scammy server side verification check which is laughable
I am not really familiar with BitKong. But I had a quick look and this is simply not true. The beauty of "provably fair" is that you can indeed prove yourself whether it is fair or not. 1. The clientseed is made after you get the next serverseed hash with function "generateClientSeed" (in your own browser.) So you generate the clientseed in the browser after you get the next hash (so they are not aware of it before generating a serverseed - which is good!) 2. They combine the server seed and client seed for the end result as explained by their FAQ: https://help.bitkong.com/english/provably-fair-game/how-to-check-positions So they certainly do use the client seed. Overall it definitely seems provably fair. Although I only had a quick look. (PS, I have no idea what the "bit bonus thing" is.)

Thanks for reporting. Right now https://bustadice.com says: bustadice is undergoing maintenance and will be back online soon. So I am curious whether it's me or them

There has been provably fair lotteries before and one of the few ways to do it properly is indeed using a future blockhash. One example would be PevPot (doesn't run anymore though - but cached provably fair page and open-source code.) 3. Players then buy tickets for the game until the time of the draw. Make sure that all the tickets are public and known to everyone. Otherwise you can just claim to have the winning ticket yourself. PevPot did this by using 1 public address, use TXs confirmed between blocks x and y, sort them by TX ID and make every satoshi worth 1 ticket. This way, everyone with access to the bitcoin blockchain can make the list of tickets themselves - without even visiting the site. There are other ways to do that though, but publicizing the ticket list (and making sure people have it before the result) is a crucial part of it. 6. The lottery results (6 lottery numbers) are then randomly generated by the well-known Mersenne Twister random number generator. You can just assign a number for each ticket entry, generate a number based on this seed (serverseed + blockhash) and compare the two. PevPot used some modulo way. But MT (with own seed input) could work too. There is still a chance that you and the miner are colluding, withholding a block just because you don't like the winning result (and have a second chance with next block.) This probably only makes sense if the potential loss is bigger than the miner reward. So as long as the total prize is less than 12.5 BTC, you should be fine. But for this reason, PevPot added a slow calculation that took hours before we could get the result.

I was surprised about the link with "revcback", because that really seems to be a 15yo dude from Singapore (see his TEDx talk.) I actually frequently upvoted his posts on bitcoinmarkets With a bit of searching, it seems like "favours" is actually (serial) scammer "Light" on the site mpgh.net. This banned user "Light" has multiple scam accusations: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1129149https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1113369https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1106394https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1125442etc. In the last one, Skype logs are given: https://imgur.com/a/VuxQI it shows the address "15YWc15M7Ht49rMohYrwNh3RggtgAjcMEp" which is wallet 02d8d4de4563bb08 on walletexplorer. This user repeatedly made deposits to Poloniex, specifically to deposit address " 1FtzkMkeggTPq7xVn3vTdbU7cDp9NZJoNc". Now back to bitcointalk: As per Lauda's request, I am posting a repayment address here.
1PsfsGbooKzMohG9SshFbNUaHRTZUQeu4S https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1914003.msg18986684#msg189866841PsfsGbooKzMohG9SshFbNUaHRTZUQeu4S had 1 TX, sent to Poloniex deposit address " 1FtzkMkeggTPq7xVn3vTdbU7cDp9NZJoNc". Other addresses from user "favours" make deposits to the same Poloniex deposit address. Interesting enough, mpgh.net already made that link between "revcback" and scammer "Light" without this blockchain evidence to his TEDx talk: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1317391 I don't use mpgh.net so if anyone has more context, that would be interesting. Additionally there is another banned mpgh.net account linked to "favours" ( skype name: "alexcaze1234"): - User "AlexCaze" who "has given a TEDx talk" and has skype name "alexcaze1234", looking for a verified chaturbate account and asking how to scam a macbook by refunding it. - This same skype name "alexcaze1234" was used to add "Alia Armelle" to GGB too. - BTW, "favours" already previously offered "hot girl cam" service too. So overall, it seems like revcback = alexcaze = light = favours = alia = 15yo scamming dude. Obviously there is at least some girl involved as some people confirm the cam service to be real. So either 15yo dude is the pimp middleman and/or they actively work together. I guess in theory it could be even the sister, although that would be proper disgusting. Either way, confirmed scammer.

Is there a reason why Duckdice.com is not on list? Is it because they cant be verified? I noticed they have the word provably fair.. thinking they were certified by the site..
They don't have a "total wagered" statistic so I can't add them. Besides that, they had a bit of scammy bonus so that could be another reason for me to not add them (but I didn't read all details.) However, all of that has nothing to do with provably fair. I guess you might just be talking about a provably fair verifier? They could be still perfectly provably fair (I didn't check yet.) On quick look they do use a nonce-implementation and that generally is really provably fair. Just make sure to verify your bets, their third-party verifier seems fine: https://codepen.io/anon/pen/bwJLjj

Is there an Alt gambling thread? I thought this was the thread for all coin dice sites?
Yes, I always report these altcoin gambling sites and I believe they get moved to: Service Announcements (Altcoins) and some to: Marketplace (Altcoins). Obviously if there are many of them, you guys could ask for a specific Gambling sub-forum within that altcoin forum. But either way, this Gambling forum is supposed to be for bitcoin.

Incorrect, although each individual value is calculated through random variance, patterns between numbers can still be identified. Also, an RNG is very different from a simple (0.99/odds) calculator, where the expected odds of each number has a percentage that has been set. For example, we know that the odds of hitting two 100+x's in a row are 0.00009801. Irrelevant. Imagine a 10-sided dice. The odds of throwing exactly 7 is 1/10 = 10%. If you throw a 5 first, the odds of throwing a 7 next is still 10%. If you throw a 7, the odds of throwing a 7 after that is still 10%. The throws are independent from each other. That seems pretty obvious, right? Now, the odds of throwing two times 7 after each other are indeed 1/10*1/10 = 1%. But this still does not affect the probability of the throw after the first 7. This logic, where you think there are "patterns", is the classic gambler's fallacy. Your strategy is clearly based on this fallacy, just like most strategies like martingale are based on that. I'm selling the method mainly for altruistic purposes (I have already made quite a bit of profit for myself as well as investors; sharing the method not only helps others, but allows me to make some additional money without worrying about variance). You are hoping to make BTC34.65 in total with selling this losing strategy. Acting as if you are just helping others seems ridiculous. PS, initially this reply was removed - which IMO warranted negative trust as warning for potential buyers. I believe potential buyers should have all information available and then they can decide for themselves if they want to buy this or not. OP and I agreed to keep it in this thread instead of on the trust page.

(this is why I named it Player Edge; because it adds more fairness to the game) There is no such thing as "more fairness". Based on preceding games, the script can indicate (to a mathematical extent) what kind of games are about to come consequently. Each round is 100% independent from each other. What you are describing is the classic gambler's fallacy. It is important to note that no matter what, gambling will always be EV- for players and EV+ for the casino owners. At least you agree it's still EV-, players are still expected to lose money. (And therefor one must be very stupid to buy this.)
|
|
|
able to indicate, in a way, the coming games' outcomes based on immediately preceding games. 1. Are you saying your script can predict the future outcomes to a certain level? 2. Would this also work on the new Bab v2? (since you mention "crash games") 3. Also, just for the record, are you claiming that players have a positive expected return based on these methods? Or do you agree they are just gambling and likely to lose money? Keep in mind that the daily expected profit is about 6 to 10% 4. So if you start with 1 BTC. You will have 1*1.06^365 = 1,724,411,147 BTC after 1 year. And that is the worst-case scenario, 10% is even a lot more. Why sell if you can make almost 2 billion BTC from only a single BTC in 1 year?
