MICON, my mate Foxmulder still cannot get into his account. I know you guys have a lot on your head, but he is a real regular, always been good for seals, saving ppl from scams, etc. Please fix his account. TY MICON.
Also, in my timezone The Late DeepTurbo is basically the only one to play for me (and that mini smooth, but 5chip BI bit too low.) I have been promoting that tourney daily hard. 18 players right now. Basically: pls add some "night tournaments" and ill try to promote in lobby. BI 20 - 50 or smth. Maybe a 10 chip rebuy? (prolly turbo cuz its night) Should have some GTD, but especially with rebuy we should be able to reach it.

I think it's more a privacy issue, like CoinBase could start blocking PD withdrawals etc. Although I assume the "hot wallet" is actually just a collection of addresses that change all the time.
There is also no reason for a public cold wallet since there are no public investors risking money at PD (unlike those other sites that you mentioned.)
Pretty sure you can just get the IP of the node running the Bitcoind server to get a full list of addresses associated with PD. Or something along those lines... Know there's a way though Yeh, definitely. What I mean is this: betcoin has (or used to have) 1 hot wallet bitcoin address. Most withdrawals went through that address. Then some coinbase accounts were frozen because of withdrawals from there. Basically I mean: they won't make it too obvious to detect, even though there are ways. Eg: it was kinda suggested that PD could have 1 public hot wallet address so people can see if it's empty or not, which would be bad. The idea about monitoring the IP is this: connect to as many nodes as possible. You could probably connect to a lot of them, like blockchain.info does, but probably not all. Then you can probably detect the PD node after a while and you can assume most of the transaction they first relay before all the other nodes, are PD withdrawals. This isn't 100% correct though, since it will relay transactions from other nodes too and for sure you are not following all the nodes. Basically I am pretty sure coinbase doesn't and won't use this method for detecting transactions they don't "want".

The rough start here and neteller accepting bitcoin (which is a big big way of depositing into pokerstars) , I think SwC lost awful lot of market share to pokerstar which was expected if pokerstars accepted bitcoin but it might happen in a longer way then direct way.
Almost all Seals players are from USA. They still cannot play on Stars.

And do I enter the server hash in there? Or client hash.
Bah
There is no such thing as a client hash. There is only a server seed, server seed hash and client seed. So for my verifier http://dicesites.com/primedice/verifier it's: Server seed hash = "Server Seed SHA-256 Hash" Server seed = "Server Seed Revealed" Client seed = "Client Seed" All under "Previous Seed Pair" at the Provably fair tab at Primedice. You can only verify bets from your previous session. If you see the values only at "Current Seed Pair" with a high number of "Bets Made with pair", you have to "Rerandomize" and randomize your client seed to see the previous server seed. You will then see all the values go to "Previous Seed Pair" including the "Server seed" so you can verify your bets. Last nonce = The number of bets you made (minus one.) You could remember this from the value "Bets Made with pair" before you randomized your server seed. You can also see this if you click on the details of your last bet under: " Client Seed (nonced)". In the end of that seed it will say ....7ab264-151 or something like that, so your "Last nonce" was 151. Ideally PD could list this under "Previous Seed Pair" BTW, but currently they don't.For a better understanding of how provably fair works, I advise you to read my article at http://dicesites.com/provably-fair

Micon, Glitch... there seems to be an issue when moving tables in tournament. I had this twice now, sometimes I don't have it, so not sure what the problem is. Anyway: Late DeepTurbo had 9 players, so 1 table. 1 other player joined so it's 2 tables.. I was moved to this new table. Couldn't see my cards, timed out doing nothing. Last hand on first table was #553387. Second hand on new table was #553460 (could see that.) Don't know first hand # My internet connection is not the best ever and I am downloading so could be some lost packets too, never had it on Stars though. Did you try doing Help -> Force Reconnect? This happens to me very often because my internet connection is very up and down sometimes. And the only fix I could find when I couldn't see my cards was to close the entire application and reopen it. Okay thanks guys will try that next time. Still I assume the client could have some logic "if no hole cards, force reconnect" or something like that in it. Also since it happened when moving tables I guess it could have been related to that too.

These domain guys are delusional. Joshua Pelissero: In regards to helping recover stolen names, ... I have managed to get these names returned without legal help, just pure desire to help a victim. Ahhh you are such a good guy, Joshua Pelissero. Completely delusional. Will do any disgusting trick to earn some money. Then saying in interviews how great a guy he is. Realistically in these times that domain name is close to worthless. I am sure it will not generate any traffic nor income. ~4 coins is way more than generous.

There is a difference between partnerships between large companies / travel agencies with some hotels and "60% of all expedia hotels". No way Expedia has 60% margin. But yeh, I guess I was only 99% sure too (well 100% for myself) and hoped it was somehow legit, because otherwise I would have replied sooner

This has been an obvious scam since the beginning. Classic way to cash out some stolen creditcard, sell it for bitcoin. Do it 1 time legit with a trusted member to build up some reputation. 60% discount... really guys? Sorry for your loss though.

I am planning to add more sites in a next update. I am just really busy with client projects, so I am not sure when this will be.

Actually I have seen SwC 3x on Twitch now! 2x some low OFC cash game.. but still nice to see will link it next time.

Nice idea. Raffle should be probably fair. Something like this: sha hash of username + nonce (up to no tickets of this user) Then get some hash of a future block. Make decimals of all hashes, winner is the number closest to block hash. Publish block number and raffle ticket list in advance. IMO no sale of tickets and max number of free "rain" tickets (max announced in advance.)

It is only provably fair if you take the time to verify your games. You could read my detailed article at: http://dicesites.com/provably-fair for a better understanding of how provably fair works. This was very informative and every dice player should at-least give this a thorough read once. I am gonna tweet about it, so my twitter followers can understand what 'Provably Fair' really means. Edit: DoneAwesome, thanks. Glad you like it.

Ok, I was pretty sure I used it earlier when I late reg some tourney. But I could be wrong so guess I really need to sleep now :p
Either way I was already thinking "exclude completed" and/or filters would be better. Even "opening" tourneys much earlier instead of being announced would be better. I don't really see a point of having a tourney that's within 3 hours being "announced" instead of open for registration.
|
|
|
That sounds probably better yeh. It's late here
|
|
|
I am 99% sure "Upcoming" also shows "Late reg". That being said, I definitely agree.. I also want to see both (late) reg, announced and running tournaments. (Also... isn't "Announced" "Upcoming" too?) Basically that button would be better as "Show non-completed only" although that sounds pretty awful.

Thanks for that. One thing: When in Fantasyland, you can “stay in Fantasyland” for an additional bonus hand if you make: Top Hand: 222+ Middle Hand: Full House+ Bottom Hand: Quads+
I'm pretty sure that while I'm in FL (in pineapple, at least) it says on the screen that I can stay with "trips / quads / quads". ie. a full house in the middle isn't enough. Which is correct? This is a difference between normal and pineapple OFC. So.. Normal: FH in middle, P: Quads. Rest same. Should be added on the SWC FAQ indeed. It also misses the following royalties: [Bottom Hand] 2 Straight
[Middle Hand]
2 Three of a Kind 4 Straight
