561  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: December 06, 2015, 06:55:41 AM
Every satoshi is worth 1 ticket. But the minimum is BTC0.00010000 = 10,000 tickets. If you send BTC0.00012345 - you get 12,345 tickets. So 1000 bits = BTC0.00100000 = 100,000 tickets. Etc.
562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new 🌟🌟MoneyPot🌟🌟 staff on: December 04, 2015, 01:40:56 PM
Sounds good guys.

I actually withdrew my small investment a few days ago at MP to be sure... but looks like I am still invested in new MP already lol.

Also sounds like Dean got some work to do to change BK (no not Burger King, nor Bangkok, but BetKing Tongue) into a MP app and transferring the players/investors to MP(?) Or will "new MP" (as in: transferred) open without PRC BK players merged? (which would mean no investments other than first new investors?)
563  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: December 04, 2015, 07:44:59 AM
Thats some really interesting statistics to be honest, enjoyed reading all the sites. How did you get all this info btw, if this hasnt been asked already.
The sites provide this information. Sometimes they have some JSON API, sometimes I get it straight from their HTML interface.

I am wondering if you could add Monero dice sites to your site, too? I mean sites like Monerodice.net or SafeDice.com.
SafeDice is already there Smiley Someone suggested Monerodice to me too, I am still considering that one.
564  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: December 04, 2015, 07:18:24 AM
It sucks that your situation is bad. But you should understand Stunna cannot just give BTC0.3 per month to everyone in Ukraine.
565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably fair - Not provable at all? on: December 03, 2015, 03:51:12 PM
Provably fair only works when you actively verify your bets. For the basics I recommend to read my article: https://dicesites.com/provably-fair

Some provably fair implementations are better/worse than others too. I plan to write an article about this (which is a bit more advanced) some time in teh future :>
566  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: December 01, 2015, 07:12:05 PM
What are you talking about? Obviously the .info owner was the owner of the scam sites. Anyone who can calculate 1+1 can figure that out.

Read the post of JonHolmquist a few times extra if you need some arguments for it.
567  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: !!!!!! HIGHROLLER BITCOIN GIVEAWAY !!!!!! BetCoin.TM SPECIAL giveaway. on: December 01, 2015, 06:00:06 PM
Betcoin.tm has a long history (~3 years) of scam accusations (just google: "betcoin.tm" site:bitcointalk.org).

@OP: I would love to see a "main thread" of you guys, so these issues could be discussed (since obviously some are old accusations and most might be about the bonus / incorrect.)

The "about" page has some cool things too:
- "BetCoin™ is the world’s most advanced online gaming network" (I would argue that something like PokerStars, who caters half a million people at the same time in a game of poker, is more advanced, but sure..)
- "BetCoin™ games have the lowest house edge and the highest return to player ratio (RTP) available worldwide" (on dice they claim to have 1.88% HE, but even seems 2.1%? either way not lowest.)
- "BetCoin™ customers don’t need to worry about their funds’ safety, as they enjoy state-of-the-art, hacker-proof security" (nothing is "hacker-proof" Tongue)
- "BetCoin™ offers the widest range of bet sizes, from less than 1 tenth of a penny, to over 1 million USD per bet." (I find it unlikely that they can afford a max profit of 2800 BTC per bet?)
- etc.

Overall, I am always willing to "hear both sides" though. So if we could have a main thread so we can discuss these things further, it would be great. Maybe you can convince me that your site is not a scam.

edit: aw, made this message before I realized dooglus's edits lol.
568  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any more Skill-based services like this? on: November 30, 2015, 03:14:49 PM
Poker is skill-based for good players (swcpoker.eu, betcoin.ag, etc)

But you probably look for something more like: http://chopcoin.io
569  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 05:02:21 AM
Yes, F5 on https://bitmain-tech.com/user/orderDelivery.php a lot and you can be pretty sure. But my internet sucks so if others can find more thats only good Smiley

Obvious scam is obvious.
I don't think this scam is going to be all that obvious to a lot of newer users to Bitcoin.

Oh yes, agree, I can't blame anyone for falling for this. I mean it's obvious if you realize those domains are fake. But the setup (including ads/paying for social media/news-sites , etc) was pretty "good" so def tricky to recognize.

571  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 03:47:57 AM
It seems like Firefox is already blocking appgyft.com so that is pretty good/fast:

I hope the others will be blocked soon too. I reported some to https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/ too (FF uses that too AFAIK.)
572  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 07:20:45 PM
I was one step left to make a purchase of total amount of few bitcoins, in the "gyft" website.
Thanks for letting us know this, i really appreciate it.
Good to hear.

Yeh, also some of the ads are legit btw (like mixed legit and scams to make it look more "right".) Obviously better use http://bitcoinblackfriday.com instead.

I didn't follow the black friday thing at all so I don't know much details and it's actually 3:20am here so too late to research who the .info owner is etc. I hope this "last minute" warning could prevent at least some victims.
573  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 07:11:25 PM
Sent PM to 48 signature campaign users and theymos. Sorry to PM spam, I just really hate scams.
574  Economy / Scam Accusations / bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 06:46:52 PM
I didn't follow their announcements etc. so I don't know much about them. But just by looking at 5 of their top 8 ads:

deals.bitcoinblackfriday.info/offer/primedice-deposit-at-least-1-btc-and-receive-1-btc-for-free/
links to primedice.io instead of https://primedice.com

deals.bitcoinblackfriday.info/offer/gyft-25-discount-for-all-gift-cards/

Obvious scam is obvious.

Owner at forums: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=525055

And promoted by ~50 ppl in his signature campaign, PM-ed them.

edit: seems like they also have 1 ad on this forum... - but gone now.
575  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: November 27, 2015, 06:19:29 PM
Yep, pretty big scam going on by this bitcoinblackfriday.info guy.

Disgusting.

Already gave https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=525055 negative trust and I hope those who promote them with signature can remove their signature.

edit: made an own thread for it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1266987 seems more appropriate than the PD thread (:
576  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: November 27, 2015, 04:55:33 PM
Dash is removed from BD
Mm yeh should remove it, thanks Smiley

Is there any chance that you could add stats for MoneyPot that lists the same stats that sites like BitDice and SatoshiDice have that are aggregate for all the MoneyPot apps? This would be especially useful to someone considering to invest
Yes, I am planning to eventually make an "investor page" that would include MP (and not MP apps like BetterBets etc.) I agree that is much more relevant for the investors. Unfortunately, technically - in my current DB structure - it isn't easy.. so I am not sure when I would do this. (read: might take a few months :X Sad)
577  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Dice | Secure Bitcoin Betting | ✔ Progressive Jackpot ✔ Provably Fair on: November 25, 2015, 05:03:03 PM
Congrats on the 5M bets milestone.

Could you consider adding "the total wagered amount of dice" somewhere? This way I could add it to my site dicesites.com too Smiley

Just an idea, I know plenty of sportsbooks/casinos don't show this, but it's pretty much normal for most dice sites and nice little statistic for players to follow.
578  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: November 24, 2015, 03:24:45 AM
Never been able to get your software to work. Fails on 2 of my windows 7 virtual machines and fails with wine. Is there some .net library I'm missing or something? no errors, just no games ever populate and it says 'trying' in the lower left corner.

FWIW, they sorta shouted at me and NLNico for even hoping to get it running on WINE.  Not sure why, but they told us in no uncertain terms "It will not work on WINE!".  I sorta intepreted that as that they were taking active steps to ensure it doesn't work on WINE.  I don't know why that would be the case, but it's the impression I got.
Lol :p TBH to me it felt more like a "we know some libraries that we use don't work with wine, so no need to waste your time on it, maybe we will change in future." Tongue

It works fine for me w/ VirtualBox - clean Win install. Did you set your VM network adapter on "Bridged adapter"? 99% sure it's just that setting Wink
579  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: November 21, 2015, 05:02:31 PM
Yes, stats are correct, slow week for PRC.

Although it's always speculating why that would be the case (I personally generally don't see much correlation between promos a site has and their traffic.) In this situation I would say that disabling the chat and removing "all bets" tab were bad. No idea if there is a direct link with that (perhaps not - for example there was no immediate drop in wagered and bets-number is still same as days before change.) But I personally just think it's stupid to remove those features.
580  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: November 20, 2015, 05:14:52 PM
In theory it sounds good and I hope it will be good.

Alternative result: the "EV+ betters" find it too risky to bet at start and it's not EV+ anymore to bet in the end > resulting in an "even" lower prize.

But let's hope it works out Tongue
