Yeh last few days looking good:

982  Economy / Reputation / Re: hinglemc <------anyone/everyone I have ever scammed pls come forward on: May 07, 2015, 05:53:10 AM
To me it sounds like he is making a parody on many "classic threats".

"I will hack you" > "by like 2024 I will deface your myspace page to the point of it being entirely unrecognizable "

"pay ppl around you do things to you" > "pay your coworker twenty bucks to tie your shoelaces together at lunch so you look like a jerk infront of everybody"

"place bomb / break your brakes" > "all of the lights/radio/windshieldwipersNcrap go off all over the place"

"do stuff with guns" > "me and four of my boys jump out with supersoakers and douse you with liquid water"

IMO the PM is fairly funny and definitely not serious.

Again, normally I agree with neg rep on "newbie accounts asking for loans" and I think you are doing overall great job (also against those ponzis), but considering his account is actually from begin 2013 and he has a good reputation besides bitcointalk, I think he shouldn't have neg. rep based on that loan request. And those parody threats as joke, myeh perhaps not the best way to deal with the situation, but obviously not serious.

TBH my English isn't that great, but doesn't that mean that your light/radio/windshield will be "on" when you start the car? Seems pretty harmless to me ? xD
984  Economy / Reputation / Re: hinglemc <------anyone/everyone I have ever scammed pls come forward on: May 07, 2015, 04:49:26 AM
Just wanna say hingle got a good reputation in the bitcoin poker community and I loaned him many times / got repaid always w/o any problem in 2013 / 2014. While I normally agree with the "negative reps for precaution" from Quickseller (and Vod and others watching out), this guy has a good reputation beyond bitcointalk. I believe it is about a 0.02 btc loan and I could even be vouching for that amount, even though I kinda hate the logic behind vouching.

BTW, if you don't take them too seriously, those PMs are kinda funny :X :p "but by like 2024 I will deface your myspace page to the point of it being entirely unrecognizable " .. come on Tongue

That being said, I am not entirely looking to get too much into this discussion, just giving my view as someone who is active in the bitcoin poker community and have been around on the forums for awhile too.

Congrats on the 5 billion bets. Seems both wagered and bets didn't really get a hit since the US ban too http://dicesites.com/primedice Pretty interesting. Not sure if it might have a slowly declining effect as it is more likely to scare of new players than existing players, but definitely good news for PD.
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: May 07, 2015, 04:18:27 AM
BTW since a week the graph / top 10 data is updating every 15 minutes again and seems to be working fine Smiley

I do like to emphasize that the last data point in the graph is always for "today" in EST time. So during the day it might look like today is gonna be a bad day for a site even though there are still plenty of hours to go.

I understand you mean well, but I am definitely not mailing them. They clearly had a connection issue that kicked all or most players. So it should be very easy for them to check the logs, see which players were playing in which tournaments and do refunds based on ICM. This would be a very basic / standard thing to do for a poker operator. Seals was doing this all the time w/ d/c problems. Cash game refunds are more difficult, but for tournaments this is pretty straight forward.

Obviously they are failing at this time after time. I am confident I still need refunds from July, OSS refunds were disaster and these issues are still here. I know they do refunds when you instantly cry on support, but being so passive on such an important issue seems very wrong to me. I really think they should prioritize this more because it seriously demotivates me and others to play on their site.

Considering this passive refund policy and considering there have been missing refunds from cancelled tournaments before, I think an overview of played MTTs (incl cancelled) and winnings/buy-in/balance is needed too.
988  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Mobile, Tablet, Web, Client-Million Dollar GTD-8/2 on: May 06, 2015, 06:47:37 AM
Did Betcoin just crashed earlier? Couldn't connect :\ was in for 2 bullets in the Night Owl hyper turbo. Obviously lost when I could connect already. Could be my ISP tbh.

Is there also already a way to see my tournaments buy-ins history etc? Since I never got repaid buy-ins of cancelled MTTs like a year ago, I still don't trust it and would like an overview.

990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 02, 2015, 03:28:51 PM
US has been proven to fight against gambling sites many many times (even w/ black friday - poker, now also Micon, etc.) I don't think Russia cares too much (unless it's Russian operators perhaps.) It's not about what PD wants, it's about their risks.
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 02, 2015, 02:47:37 PM
Why people are saying good bye ? Smiley U can use simple VPN , like hola extension for chrome u can set it to go over vpn only on primedice so when u are on other sites it doesnt go over vpn.

I used it for netflix it works like a charm.

If we use free VPN, they could steal our data / add some ads to every site we visit
But, we don't waste our money by purchasing premium VPN too Sad

There is still a 2fa to protect your account! Not really a big problem Smiley
That is incorrect. I agree it isn't really a problem though.
I could come up with 10 ways to "hack" 2FA, but the relevant risk for VPN is the man-in-the-middle attack (MITM) and 2FA does not help for that. Basically all the traffic goes through the VPN so if the hacker controls the VPN he could show you a fake PD site (copy) and see the passwords you fill in, but also the 2FA code. Both can be send to the real PD site under the attackers control - and he can make withdrawals etc. Basically 2FA does not help at all against MITM. This is the same reason 2FA doesn't work against phishing sites (also fake site that gets your password/2FA code and uses it immediately.)

HOWEVER, the description in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1043827.0 seems pretty correct. All you have to do is make 100% sure you are connected to https://primedice.com and there is nice little lock icon next to it. That topic has some more details. This way the traffic is encrypted between you and the real PD site.

Still I do recommend everyone to use 2FA whenever there is a decent amount of money involved (or your account is worth a lot to you.)
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 02, 2015, 02:30:28 PM
It was changed from 40 to 20 coins after that Huffleguy was betting back in November.
993  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: May 02, 2015, 02:29:06 PM
It must been a real pain to add the new sites each time they pop out so I think your reason of only adding the popular sites is indeed correct. Wonder how long does it takes for a sites to be added in your sites by your definition of "popular and has been around for a while"?
I don't have official requirements but probably at least 6 months old and at least couple thousand wagered.

P.S : is there a way to know number of bet per day in a sites? this could be a better parameter to know the effect of PrimeDice no longer accepting player from US
Yes. For a specific site click "more info & stats" and check "Daily bets" graph. For all sites you can also watch "Graphs" page with "Daily bets" graph (all sites in 1 graph.)

995  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: May 02, 2015, 08:10:40 AM
So i have been wondering where do you get the data for the total wagered since PrimeDice has omitted that from the homepage ?
The amount wagered is in their stats API: https://api.primedice.com/api/stats/1/
Smiley

and also I only saw abit of dicesites listed on your sites which dadice and rollin.io is not included although both sides seems to be getting some attraction lately.
Currently it's only for the most popular sites that have been around for a while. In the future I will add more newer sites. rollin.io actually has been around for a while but afaik they only share number of bets, not wagered amount Sad
996  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 02, 2015, 05:42:42 AM
Since there is no way to know for sure the number of players and also the wagered BTC per day so there is no sure way to know if the number of the players are decreasing
I introduce you to my site: http://dicesites.com/primedice Yesterday PD had more wagered than any other day last ~8 weeks. Daily bets seems slightly lower but too insignificant to say the US ban is the reason. Of course we gotta wait for like a week to see if there is really any change but ATM it isn't looking too bad for PD Smiley
997  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Pacquiao vs Mayweather - online stream in HD? anyone? on: May 02, 2015, 04:07:43 AM
Please do let us know if it seems legit and stuff. I would not mind paying $6 (1 day pass btw) at all if it is really good.
998  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Pacquiao vs Mayweather - online stream in HD? anyone? on: May 02, 2015, 03:05:47 AM
That hqzone site is just a PSD export and looks like a 12yo made it. I highly doubt their technical capabilities to put their own (illegal) streams online. So yeh, I assume other "free streams" are just as good.

I got a lucky seed! Grin

If you want to get the lucky seed follow my instruction, first you need to change the client seed at midnight then put your first name in client seed after that don't play and go to bed then pray and sleep.  Smiley
Yeah those seeds gotta germinate overnight to become a money tree.
