601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids? on: November 30, 2018, 12:03:33 PM
If someone is investing in bitcoins with a  horizon of 20-30 years, he would be making a fortune for sure. At such, investing in bitcoins for kids is a good option in my opinion.

Most of the current investors are worried about the recent prices where bitcoin is not rising with good pace. But the current trend is only temporary in my opinion and market should recover soon.
602  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: November 25, 2018, 09:01:27 AM
what if others will only buy/ sell merit even though their post is garbage? they should be ban

That is already being done to members abusing the merit system. You should focus on own post quality and thus adding value to the forum. If you have some additional time left, you can also report the misuse of merits if you notice it.
603  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned.Help on: November 25, 2018, 08:58:38 AM
You forgot to mention the source and did it repetitively. That is the reason of the ban. Also, remember that as per rules, you are not allowed to create a new account here once you are banned for breaking a forum policy.
604  Other / Meta / Re: Best Crypto Forum on: November 25, 2018, 08:57:17 AM
I have not used any forum other than bitcointalk for crypto related queries. I am sure that it ranks for almost all the leading keywords being searched by new users as well and thus they also land up here only.

Sometimes, when I am bored and want to take a break from serious discussions, I head over to Reddit which is full of funny responses.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins hold to moon 1 year? on: November 23, 2018, 01:42:50 PM
I think these Altcoins you can hold in a year are ETH, XRP, TRX, ETC, NEO, XMR, WAVES. These Altcoins are always development better than other Altcoins.

Stellar (XLM) can also be a good pick in my opinion.

If you want to make quick and reliable international payments, XLM is the solution for you! Unlike Ripple, the main accent here is on individuals, not large institutions. You can make quick transactions with a very minimal fee (5% per transaction) and by using a dApp directly on their blockchain. Moreover, Stellar has partnerships with many large companies and it’s definitely one of the safest altcoins to invest in right now.  If you’re a sole individual and you don’t have a huge business running, you should certainly give XLM a try.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins with stady growth? on: November 23, 2018, 01:41:56 PM
I will suggest you to go for coins like Zcash. Many people want their transactions to be private and they won’t want to expose themselves publicly. If you’ve found yourself in these lines, we can say that ZEC is the best altcoin to invest in. With a dedicated team of developers and constant technical improvements, Zcash does a pretty good job of keeping ZEC relevant.  As its popularity will undoubtedly increase in the future, ZEC is one of the safest altcoins that you can invest in right now.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in 2018 on: November 23, 2018, 01:40:25 PM
Ripple  gave me good benefits and has a number of advantages over other coins. Ripple provides global financial settlement services for all banks that offer direct transactions as well as transactions across national borders. As a result, XRP is an ideal altcoin for large corporations and that’s the main focus of Ripple as a company. However, even individual investors can rip off the benefits if they know what they want. In any case, you won’t make a mistake if you choose XRP as your altcoin.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 23, 2018, 01:39:30 PM
I've been thinking a lot about this issue. I heard more than once that many are discussing this topic. Is it safe to invest everything in one, two cryptocurrencies? Or to distribute all the money in all the coins available for this amount?

I think it depend on the coin you are investing. For instance, coins like Ripple are safe to invest in.

XRP is yet another powerful option that many people are not aware of. According to the official data, it’s the third biggest cryptocurrency right after Bitcoin and Ethereum so, as you can expect, it’s a pretty good solution.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: November 23, 2018, 01:38:38 PM
Maybe with the current situation I don't think there is anything better between bitcoin and altcoin. Because we are aware, all altcoins and bitcoins have decreased dramatically. But there are a number of altcoins that have risen and there are also altcoins that are still stable. Maybe the reason is that altcoin is better than bitcoin and altcoin and bitcoin can be the same.

Coins like EOS can give better returns. Other than having a more customer-friendly approach, EOS has other strong points too. For example, it is faster and much more scalable than Ethereum. It doesn’t use gas fees as transactions like some altcoins and it comes with a huge community that is always eager to help you out. They will happily assist you whenever you have some doubts or suspicions regarding EOS and the way it works.

So, if you’re looking for an ideal altcoin to invest in the current crypto market, EOS is a very good contender.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe and invest in ICOs? Why? on: November 23, 2018, 01:37:46 PM
Do you really still believe in ICOs?

Why?

What's the opportunity these days?

Love to hear you guys' input on this!

Thanks

Some of the new ICOs are promising. But one has to choose carefully and the process can consume a lot of time. Thus these ICOs are mostly suitable for people who are doing crypto full time and can give a lot of time to it.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: November 23, 2018, 01:36:04 PM
Of course now probably the only coin that in the future can compete I think eos , due to the fact that this is a new generation of blockchain

EOS is one of the most popular altcoins at this point in time and it came out as a direct response to Ethereum Network. You no longer need a special programming language to develop a dApp, you can use other services instead. These services are used by developers themselves and they include database and account management services, none of which require any programming language whatsoever.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin NOW ?? on: November 23, 2018, 01:35:37 PM
What's the best altcoin to invest in it RIGHT NOW ?

One cryptocurrency I can recommend is BAT. BAT is basically a unit of account shared between users, publishers, and advertisers. Along with the token, you get access to a special browser called Brave. This browser is completely integrated with the token and it can effectively eradicate any malware that is threatening your PC. With these features, BAT is certainly more than just a regular token.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 22, 2018, 12:37:08 PM
From the beginning it is necessary for Bitcoin to accept in at least online stores, and then you can turn to other companies.

That requires a lot of conditions to be fulfilled. For instance, this will not be possible to achieve in countries where there is already a ban on use of crypto. If the online stores in these countries start accepting crypto, they may land into legal trouble.

614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto currency ban in india on: November 22, 2018, 12:35:36 PM
I feel so sad for this matter. I don't want this to happen for the country of India to have already been banned the use of crypto currencies. Well, I had a friend living there and he is using crypto cyreencies. I feel so sad when I read this. Well, I still have hope that this will reverse.

There is so much uncertainty currently and government is taking so much time to frame rules for crypto use in India.

Based on past records in similar cases, I will not be surprises if it takes more than an year or so for the government to come up with regulations. I can understand that it can be a complicated issue but taking so much time is not professional.

615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are destroyed, everyone is disappointed on: November 22, 2018, 12:33:57 PM
I am very disappointed to see the price of bitcoin destroyed in recent days, I have lost a lot when I bought bitcoin at a high price, until when this bitcoin price dropped.

Do not loose hope as:

1) If you see the decrease, there are reasons behind it. It is not without any basic reason and thus it should boost again in future.

2) I think that the current prices are steal deal for current investors to accumulate more crypto. If we see increase to $8000 or so in next few weeks (because of Christmas and new year), it will result in almost 100% profit.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: November 22, 2018, 12:32:06 PM
Most of the young people are already investing. We should now focus on :

1) Females : Female population is still hesitant to accept crypto because of various reasons like difficulty in understanding basics. If their inclusion is somehow insured, we can have dramatic increase in number of crypto users.

2) Elders: As mentioned in OP, even old people are hesitant to invest in crypto. They should also be encouraged to invest in crypto.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: November 22, 2018, 09:26:36 AM
actually I don't need to think about the future of bitcoin in India, because I'm not an Indian. but if bitcoin in India is growing, the government will accept it, maybe it will have a positive impact on bitcoin users in India. there will be many parties who get benefit. although later bitcoin was regulated by the government of india, but it doesn't matter if the user is still profitable.
What is most concerning about this is that they are taking a lot of time in framing the rules or giving the final verdict.  It not only affects the users but also the exchnages operating in India.  A lot of people we're employed in these exchanges and with reduced business,  they might have to lay off most of the employees.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make Crypto go viral? on: November 22, 2018, 08:57:48 AM
This can be done with the use of new social networking websites like tiktok.  People should make short videos related to crypto and share with friends.  If the quality is good,  people will share it further and it can go viral.
619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we destined for Doomsday? on: November 19, 2018, 02:19:10 PM
I do not think that we are heading towards doomsday for crypto. We can expect greater heights in coming days. It is very much possible that next year, bitcoin touches the $50000 mark as well. It is true that this year had been quite bad for crypto so far but I expect the situation to get better. Reason to great fall this year was huge correction following such a heavy rise.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: November 18, 2018, 06:33:13 AM
When you are still a newbie to this cryptocurrency world, it is better to take action and study the flow of its ecosystem and be prepared when you make an investment to avoid a profit loss. Don't make drastic move that you didn't prepare to it. Always make your own research first.

Of course, it is important to remain updated about crypto for all investors because :

1) Only an educated investor can make correct decisions.

2) An educated investor can also convince of influence his friends to invest in crypto and thus make good profit out of it. It will help crypto grow as well.
