601  Local / Pilipinas / Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 26, 2023, 05:06:52 PM

Except trezor
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 02:15:13 PM
The reason why they are so popular is, imo, a very well elaborated plan and design by their sponsors, and effective execution thanks to the resources that they have available. It's sad that many good professionals will desist early because the rules of the game are not the same for everyone.

Most of the streamer nowadays are just good on shouting and swearing to attract viewers. This is what the society wants to watch since they can express what they really want without censoring their content. This is the problem on mainstream media which there’s no control on the content unlike TV program and movie which being screen first before broadcast to the public.

The first batch of streaming which is the casting is much doesn’t rather this current social media that has zero content and 100% garbage swearing especially on gambling.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Before you take sides on: October 23, 2023, 12:33:55 PM
It's pretty easy to figure out if a user is telling the truth or not. Just take a good look at the reputation of the casino. If a casino has a solid reputation, we'd naturally lean towards believing them over a gambler making negative claims about the casino. Of course, this changes if the gambler can actually provide some solid proof of their accusations.

Casinos that have already built a strong reputation have a lot to lose, so they're more likely to be credible compared to someone throwing negative stories at them. Now, if you start hearing the same story from multiple gamblers, well, that's when things get a bit alarming. But until that happens, casinos keep their reputation intact.

Agree on your statement. Most of the casino that scamming using are just new or recently just established and later on decided to turn into scam like what happened to betnomi before. Proof on scam accusation board is very rare to become valid in every scam accusation in there since most of the scammer manipulate the evidence just to look like it’s a legit concern.

Casino earn a lot of profit by just having tons of players on the casino. Scamming few user with minimal amount doesn’t make sense for them since they can recover it easily on other losing players money.
604  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 23, 2023, 12:27:05 PM
I played demo mode on shuffle, I was curious about the sensation of getting maxwin on the nolimit city provider which is known for being brutal. I finally felt the thrill of getting Maxwin on the Folsom Prison slot machine. This is incredible, 75,000x the bet. Unfortunately this is only a demo and cannot be withdrawn, but getting maxwin is always fun  Cheesy

Cool seeing this kind of multiplier despite this is just a demo mode. I never hit max win even on demo mode since it’s still very hard. Imagine if you place a bet on this even just 0.1$. I’m sure you feel a bit regretful or encouraged to play real  Cheesy

How long do you play before you hit that max multiplier on demo? Nolimitcity is very volatile slot game yet they really pays huge amount once you get lucky. Mental is the only slot games I play on this provider since the rest is a total money burner.
605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KCGI. What next? on: October 23, 2023, 10:55:20 AM
In full meaning, it is called King's Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), sponsored by Bitget exchange.

I am not a Bitget user and I was not attracted enough to join.

The reason I do not join something like this is because I believe more in the money that I make from trading myself, instead of depending on what may never be mine.

This guy is soft shilling Bitget whenever there’s a chance in any thread here on trading discussions. He created same thread about this KCGI before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464563.msg62747399#msg62747399 and you can notice on his post that he keeps mentioning Bitget.

Either he is an avid fan or shiller of Bitget here in the forum. This kind of tournament is not suitable for small trader because they always consider trading volume as main factor to win the tournament.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 22, 2023, 04:27:22 PM
I'm tempted to ask what our response will be when we are gambling and our kinds come to ask what we are doing.  Do we lie to them or tell them the truth. At a certain age children become so inquisitive that they ask questions virtually in everything they see us do.
It is normal to a kid asking what are their parents doing in front of their devices, it's their curiosity that why parents should know their responsibilities. Parents should check their children's social accounts as well because gambling products and opportunities is more accessible now than before, children are getting the ideas from the advertising or by hearing some words from the adults so one way to avoid normalizing gambling is to set the example to your children by not gambling yourself or at least do not gambling in front of them. Be aware that kids are being exposed to gambling through advertisement so it's better to start a conversation with them and discuss the risk associated with gambling.

It’s very hard to check every activity they are doing now that smartphones is very common and it’s easy to browse this kind content by just browsing on the news feed. I think it’s better to educate them earlier on what to avoid so that you can implant a warning message on their mind before their curiosity makes them do their own research towards gambling.

It’s way harder to restrict children nowadays compared before because technology makes everything very handy even accessing website that was supposed for adult by just clicking the yes button when ask if you are a legal age for a mature content website.
607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 22, 2023, 04:02:50 PM
Without knowledge and direction from people who already have experience in the investment field, it is better for us not to try to do it because it will cause us losses in investing and if we have the desire to invest, I think we need to seek knowledge about investment from those who have have experience in this field. You are right, there are two things that can be done in investing, some do it long term or short term, but in my opinion, if we just try it, it would be better if we just try one of them so that it can be easily understood after understanding it, then we will You can try other ways to get profit.

It depends on what kind of trading you want to get involved because you don’t need that kind of technical knowledge if you will just invest on spot market and don’t sold at loss because you can hold your token until the price pump or recover in an event that it suddenly dump once you purchased.

The problem on newbie was they are too greedy and gullible to try risky sector of crypto trading such as futures trading. Crypto is already too volatile in nature and adding leverage on it will surely a killer. Exchange that offers a leverage higher than x20 is already unethical because they are allowing their customers to gamble without knowing the real danger of high leverage.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: October 22, 2023, 02:53:09 PM
no one can guess it correctly, but with the existing data, I also believe that Bitcoin can definitely reach $1 million if a bullrun occurs, therefore if before or during 2026 a bullrun occurs, then the price of Bitcoin will reach $1 million or even more than that and if the bullrun doesn't happen until 2026, then I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will definitely be difficult to reach $1 million, but I'm sure that the bullrun will definitely happen soon (my prediction is 2025).

It’s amazing how people can easily predict an astronomical price in a short period of time despite the current price is far higher than the predicted price. 100K price target is more feasible but anything above 7 digit prediction is insane because we didn’t even touch the 6 digit area for 13 years of existence of Bitcoin while he is predicting it for just a mere 3 years from now.

This is only possible to happened if billionaire like Bezos will all-in or $ value will decrease hard due to inflation.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 22, 2023, 02:38:47 PM
I think after the scandal when they intended to offer Ledger Recover service, Ledger is really not trustworthy anymore, we can't even know if they really don't store our phrases or not . So if it comes to using a hardware wallet, I will no longer use a ledger but will instead use Trezor or some other wallet with open source that will be more reliable. Electrum cannot be compared to a hardware wallet, but when you combine it with an offline device, it is just as secure as a hardware wallet.

I’m still using Ledger even with the recent commotion about seed phrase recovery because it’s still offer the standard safety feature of hardware wallet. The team is still not implemented that said plan so I will not toss my 200$ worth of ledger for now just for a minor compromise since my total holdings is still not that huge to toss away my ledger.

I believe for those whale that has tons of money or those who still didn’t buy the ledger is really not advisable to use anymore due to their future plans.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Question on Credits Left on a Slot Machine by Someone Else on: October 21, 2023, 03:09:42 PM

I agree with you that slot machines are available for anybody who wishes to play. And if somebody is done playing and left his credits unclaimed, then he shouldn't expect that nobody will ever play with that machine until he comes back.

Right, it’s our responsibility to check our machine before we leave especially the credits. The question is too general that gives everyone of us different assumptions to have a different opinion on the matter.

It all depends on the amount left on slot machine. Some player in the slot machine usually play on the specific machine which fresh use by other user because they believe that RTP will pay once someone already lose on it. This kind cents is not a big issue since the original owner left it.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 21, 2023, 02:59:39 PM
as far as banks i noticed maximum 5 %

crypto exchanges upto 15 %   - but are they safe to put money there ? like nexo , kucoin ?

Answer is already on your post. Banks can’t give you an interest greater than 5% while this crypto exchange which you didn’t know physically located or have claim whenever they run offer a lucrative percentage. DeFi on crypto is pure gambling despite they are promising safe passive profit because exchange has a chance to runaway or got robbed including your money.

Why not just hold Bitcoin and wait until the next bullrun. You can earn more than 15% safely if you will never sell at loss.
612  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: October 21, 2023, 12:31:23 PM
HEEEELLLOOOO ?? BC.GAME?

"If everything you posted, including the screenshots are real then I assure you that we will make this right"

Your quote on September 16th. Since then:
- nothing has happened at all
- no refund of my unfairly void bet of 88mbtc was made

They are possibly ducking to your case already since they already acknowledged your issue last month and obviously the support chat shown on screenshot is not ethical at all.  They also pause their campaign while there’s a lot of pending scam accusation against them here in the forum and other review platform.

Casinoguru and askgambler are your best option now that the OP of this casino is already inactive here while there’s pending case.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Crypto gambling on: October 21, 2023, 11:12:28 AM
No luck in Bitcoin yet. I had much luck in Litecoin and it only came from a tip. I somehow made a $4 worth of Litecoin to $40 and then I withdrew it without even thinking twice.  Grin But in Bitcoin I already spent a lot in casino games and I never found my luck even once. And, I never tried exchanging it for another coin just because I thought my luck was there. That's just ridiculous.

I experienced this a lot of times when I’m losing frequently when using my original deposit while extremely in luck when I get my money from bonuses and airdrop. My highest winning experience from an airdrop or free money is 0.5$ to 100$. This happened with just a quick bet that roll over every win. I win a long streak that time until I reach 100$ to cashout.

I believe this kind of luck hits us because we don’t care what’s gonna happened on our money because it’s free that’s why we can bet at ease even though the amount is already huge and too risky.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Question on Credits Left on a Slot Machine by Someone Else on: October 21, 2023, 02:49:13 AM
Of course not. Why can you legally use it if in the first place it is not yours? Just leave it there. Find another available machine. The player might return to get it back. Or call a staff and inform him about it. It might be listed under lost and found. If we follow the rule that gamblers should not take other gambler's credits left on a slot machine, then we must not also take that voucher. There is a more basic rule that covers them both and that's not taking what's not ours.

It’s a customary not a rules. I often saw like this but normally it’s just few cents or bucks which the value is not that significant but the thing is different in an event that the value is significant since surely the owner will comeback on it.

But as a slot player on irl, you should secure your machine if you have balance on it since there’s no name or account registered under yours when you are playing on specific machine. Once you leave it means you are already done playing since each machine is not exclusive to any person that you can get back whenever you want while others doesn’t allowed to touch it.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 20, 2023, 05:29:48 PM
Not a lot of people do this, but the ones who do it should find another way to handle their income. I mean gambling could also be something fun and profitable if you are not the gambler, you can always turn the table and just let others gamble and be the house. This could be done by having your own casino obviously but you do not have to do that, you can be affiliate, or staff member of a casino as well.

“If you can’t beat them join them” is what you are trying to express here which is really fascinating idea. The only problem is the difficulty on joining them in terms of being employed, affiliate or bankroll investment.

Most of the casino nowadays is backed by huge private companies with their own set of stuff. Affiliate is kinda hard to earn too due to the competition from influencers and gambling review sites which often tanking customers. It’s really good to join the house but  finding the opportunity to do that is hard even on joining a decent signature campaigns that will last long term.
616  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph hacked, $6 million lost? on: October 20, 2023, 04:50:40 PM
According to The Block, Phillippines based exchange Coin.ph (which I think is very popular among our Filipino members) got exploited on Tuesday and hacker allegedly managed to get away with 12 million XRP. After getting XRP, hacker sent it to OKX and few other crypto exchanges.

Does anyone from Phllipines local has more info about this?

There’s no news about this from our local social media and even popular news outlet in PH. Coins.ph social media account doesn’t express any announcement while their activity today is just a normal day including some sponsorship.

I’m not sure if the news is delay in our local but there’s no such news like this base on my social media and friends that using it.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 20, 2023, 04:04:53 PM
Share your tips and thoughts on staying responsible in this digital realm.
Don't put your eggs in one basket, diversify it especially your funds. Be mindful to have a hardware wallet if you own several cryptocurrencies. That's the basic tips if you have want to secure your funds in gambling but to be responsible is not something that's just being pass onto mouth, you need to put an effort on it as well.
Totally agree to it. Applying this on gambling alone will give a huge impact on how to handle self control. There’s some instances that people don’t care how much he is already betting whenever he already loss huge part of his total bankroll. Depositing all your money in the casino will gonna cost a lot when user encounter this kind of madness even though his total bankroll is still high.

I never deposit huge amount in casino because I’m scared that I will lose it all no matter what responsible I am in gambling. It’s very hard to control yourself when influenced by heat of the moment of gambling.
618  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 USD + 20 FS Welcome Package - 24/7 Support - Weekly Race 🤑 on: October 20, 2023, 04:01:02 PM

That's the magic of demo mode, most people get big wins while playing with demo mode because we all know that demo mode is designed to attract players. Giving more wins in demo mode will obviously attract players to play with real money.

I have tried the demo mode but haven't experienced such big wins yet and as far as I know the demo mode works in the same way as we bet the real money and the only difference is fake credits and no difference in the outcomes. Correct me if I am wrong.

But we see the demo mode in that way cause we won't feel when we lose the fake credits but will be started to think about why we didn't bet with the real money only when we win big that is the real psychological difference in my opinion.

This info is debatable but no one can answer this right because slot games is not open source which means there’s no way to determine whether demo is same to the actual game. Some user consider it different since they experience easy to win huge multiplier using it while other player doesn’t notice the different.

We can assume both perspective both have merit but it’s really not worthy to debate what’s wrong here since there’s no way to determine the exact answer.
619  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: October 20, 2023, 12:57:51 PM
True, if your a casino, you would want to have new gamblers or aspiring gamblers to start and gamble in your casino. Social media are the platforms to reach them since there are probably thousands of reach in a single post, what more if you boost the promotion you have on social media and reach millions.

There’s always a pros and cons to this. Surely social media has a lot of reach for new customers but there’s also a lot of bot too that fake stats for promotion. Social media can burn a lot of money for marketing due to the bots faking stats.

Many social media account of other popular brand sometimes have a lot of followers yet has a very low interaction or impression. This why sometimes forum is much better on social media since there’s no bot user here that will offer fake interactions.

This token manage to pump an insane 1000%+ in a few weeks despite the bear market and completely erase the profit after 4 days.

I’m not sure what this token but this makes me intrigued seeing how quick the sell off escalated. There’s a speculation that Upbit is behind the self-off after their wallet moves a decent amount of token to the exchange.

Somebody here die on whack pump and dump ride?
