6121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 22, 2020, 12:58:55 PM
Few products launched by Binance like it's DEX and Launchpad were over hyped and now they are struggling. If you go to Binance DEX there is hardly any traffic. Few projects on Launchpad did not succeed to raise funds.

Ethereum on the other had isn now concentrating more on shifting from POW to POS consensus and targetting big corporations to adopt it's Blockchain.

In my opinion Ethereum will remain the second most valuable cryptocurrency for a long time.
6122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Brave the best crypto friendly web browser? on: February 22, 2020, 12:44:09 PM
Toolbars like Pei and Lolli seem great at earning small amounts of Bitcoin.  However, Brave seems like the best browser to actually get rewarded for just surfing the web.  Are there any others?

There is another browser which you could use to earn Bitcoin. It is known as CryptoTab, it is not as better as Brave but you cann earn Bitcoin while surfing the web. You can read this article if you want to know more about it https://cointikka.com/cryptotab-browser-is-it-better-brave-browser/
6123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 22, 2020, 12:07:18 PM
Really poor start to this series as losing the top and middle order batsman so easily means their is no coordination and no discipline of batsman to stay on the pitch. OZ have just nailed this match as SA still require 122 runs in 51 balls and only 3 wicket left . Now only thing SA could do is play full 20 overs and make as much runs as possible.
South Africa is not in the greatest of form and i was expecting this to happen but they were struggling to make runs on the board let alone be competitive and that is what surprised me, Australia is in good form and they are continuing their form in this series and i am expecting a white wash from Australia if not we must see a miracle from South Africa if they are to win a match against a strong Australian team.
In recent years they have many on and off field issues which are hurting them and they will hurt them as well because they are not doing any thing for settling things quota system and too much inference from politicians killing merit system they will more down in coming days if they have solution of this all.

South Africa disappointed yesterday by scoring only 89 runs. They showed the poor performance and lost the match in  South Africa (Johannesburg), which is even more embracing. On the other hand, Australia captain Aaron Finch was very happy with his team performance and I am sure they will be seeing to white wash the series if SA continues to play the same poor cricket.

Total disappointment from SA team as they could not even manage to first score 100 runs also and secondly could not even bat for 20 overs. It was a one-sided match and OZ won by a huge margin of 107 runs. Agar magical spell of 5/24 just rattled the SA batting and they were in no point in the content of winning the match right from the way they started their innings.

Ashton agar nailed it 5 wickets for 24. He is the main reason why SA could not even pass the 100 run score. Disappointing to see the whole middle order getting wiped out. It was just one sided match.
6124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to easily keep track of ETH wallets/transactions/tokens on: February 22, 2020, 11:21:55 AM
An easy way to keep track of all the movement on wallets is to use etherscan

If you sign in, you'll be able to add any address you want to your watchlist:

there just click "add new" and you'll be able to insert the wallet address and a label for organization
you can also choose to follow only incoming transfers, outgoing or all.

if you want to keep track of all transactions including tokens make sure to check the little box with the message "also trackERC20 token transfers".

you can add any address even if you don't own the private key and etherscan will send you an email letting you know about transfers on the address.

it's quite usefull.

Hope this helps somehow

Thanks for the wonderful post.
I have been using ethplorer to do the same. I had bookmarked my multiple address on my browser to monitor the transactions. I knew it is poosible to use etherscan for the same but. I never liked the interface and it doesnot have the dark mode.
6125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RSK: The Ethereum Killer? on: February 22, 2020, 10:14:59 AM
I have heard this term "The Ethereum Killer" so many times in this forum but never found one cryptocurrency actually able to do it.

This is a new Blockchain as it is still being tested. If it is an actual ethereum killer then to prove it the team needs to finish testing fast. I am sure it will not be possible by the end of this year.

Still, thanks for introducing it to us, I will keep an eye on it.
6126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters respect yourself, please! on: February 22, 2020, 10:08:18 AM
I am very frustrated by seeing some bounty project and their rewards! Recently Hydax, Earnbets, Hitmex bounty launched, I saw many people ate doing their signature even some high ranked people too. But their rewards are like 2-3K USD for all category bounties for 4-8-12 weeks bounty! Do you guys read those project's whitepaper especially the Hitmex whitepaper? Please spend some time to research before supporting a campaign. You guys are the reason for low rewards campaigns. If you ignore those, low rewards campaign are coming continuously in this year. Please try to understand the fact and do only good project's bounty that has good allocation/respect for hunters!

There are already very fewer opportunities available nowadays. Everyone wants to grab whatever is coming up, you cannot blame them for this situation. Most of the ICO and IEO are failing to generate revenue. That is the reason they are reducing the cost. Still, the situation on BTT is better than what others are offering.

Read this topic to know what is happening outside BTT - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227631.msg53888111#msg53888111
6127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 22, 2020, 09:42:10 AM
They give this guy 21 mins of airtime, and he basically says that China "controls" the Bitcoin blockchain. Some other gems in there too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ag6kxco4kk

He is the CEO of Ripple and one of his job requirements is to criticize his biggest competitor, unfortunately, his only competitor is Bitcoin.

Although there is no comparison between Bitcoin and Ripple, still he is trying to make his point by convincing them that Bitcoin is controlled by the Chinese.

Mainstream media has been against Bitcoin from the beginning and this interview shows their new tactics.

6128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: February 22, 2020, 08:22:28 AM
If you think that bounties are paying low rewards to bounty hunters then check out other platforms and you will know that this forum is still better than other bounty platforms, I checked out webounty platform and I see many bounties projects that are offering 500$ to 2000$ worth of tokens to bounty Hunters, same thing is happening on bountyhunters.io too, if you are still seeing 20k to 30k bounties and complaining you haven't seen worse.

Tachyon protocol offers 13000$ to bounty hunters for five weeks bounty duration and it triple it price after bounty ends, do not judge bounties with low allocations because they are most times good

I stopped searching for bounties after 2018 as most did not pay or had a small amount to spend. In 2019 I started participating in gambling based signature campaign and there is no looking back after that. They payment is paid on your BTT rank. The higher you are the better is the payment. Payment are paid every week in Bitcoin and so far I have earned good amount.

I would recommend all hunters to do the same, concentrate only on signature campaign and nothing else. Try gambling based signature campaign.
6129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 22, 2020, 08:03:05 AM

He was reported to be the owner of https://bitcoinbuilder.com/ and the attack vector is SIM hacked.
I really don't know what to say, BTC is already on the move and have been split already. He claim to be a security expert  Huh.

RIP BTC and BCH. Very very expensive lessons to learnt.

That is a very bad news for the market. This news might affect the price of Bitcoin. I am amazed by the increasing number of attacks by hackers now day. It has become so common.

This can be an insider's job, if you look into the amount that was stolen.
6130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: February 22, 2020, 07:55:10 AM
It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.

Very true it is hard to take a break from gambling. In my case a day or two to the most I can say I did not play. Otherwise I have been playing regularly. It is hard to resist a gambling now days. It is so easy to play this game on any device.
6131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 22, 2020, 07:51:18 AM
New Zealand is leading by 31 runs, Kane Williamson missed his century by 11 runs and Ross Taylor too lost his wicket after getting a good start, Ishant Sharma is the pick up bowler for India but the rest of the bowlers were disappointing and the fielding is sub par and if New Zealand is able to built a good first innings lead then India will be in trouble and the match could end in the fifth day.

What's wrong with the Indian Team. Before this match India have won all the 7 tests matches in the ICC World Test Championship and this might be their first loss. I do not think the match could be draw. NewZealand have more chance of win but they need to be carefully as not to give away the advantage they have by limiting India team to only 165 in their first innings.
NZ have still 5 wickets in hand and every run they score will make their position better in this test match.

Indian teams experiment is failing miserably. This new batch of newbies have failed to perform and the old boys have become over confident. They are struggling with their batting line-up. Newzealand on the others hand hsve come back strongly and after the big win in one day's they might win the test too.
6132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 21, 2020, 03:09:08 PM
Guys, I think most participants here wears a signature os a campaign, and most of them are for gamble services

My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?

Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin

It depends on my requirements. In general I try to HODL or invest it to by altcoins. Sometimes I convert it into fiat and then spend it. Rarely I have used the amount to gamble.
6133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa approves Coinbase as Principal Member - big step for mass adoption? on: February 21, 2020, 01:29:37 PM
Quote
The leading cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, Coinbase, has been approved as the very first “pure-play” crypto-related company to become a Visa principal member. Supposedly, this would allow the exchange to further improve its customer experience.

I know Coinbase is a centralized crypto wallet provider and bla bla but here are some facts to consider:
1. Coinbase is the first ever crypto company to manage such approval.
2. Visa manages a market cap worth $466 billion
3. Visa is the largest payment settlement provider in the world based on volume

Do you think it is a great step towards mass adoption? Will it be a positive or a negative?

News ref: https://cryptopotato.com/visa-approves-us-cryptocurrency-exchange-coinbase-as-principal-member/

From where do you guys come up with such theory. How can you relate this news to mass adoption. Mass adoption means implementing the technology in every human beings daily life. How will this work in implementation of Bitcoin technology.
6134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 12:29:47 PM
The only signature campaign that I have seen profitable and consistently paying are Bitcoin/gambling signature campaign. I have been part of this signature campaign from last year and I have never faced any issue. Payment is paid every week. Bounty managers are one of the most reputed and professional in this forum.

It is hard to get selected to one of these campaigns but once you are selected there no turning back.
6135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 21, 2020, 11:10:57 AM
PSL started and the controversy started with Umar Akmal getting suspended with immediate affect for anti corruption charges and the Pakistan cricket board is yet to release the seriousness of the issue and they are yet to publicly confirm what the issue is. I am yet to follow PSL matches but i will be following the matches because these tournaments will have an impact on the upcoming T20 World Cup and the team selection depends upon the performance of these leagues.

Nothing new about Umar Akmal. He has been in controversy in the past. Worst player in the history of Pakistani cricket. This will seriously tarnish the reputation of PSL. PCB should come out with a quick response to the situation.
6136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 21, 2020, 11:06:38 AM
Prithvi Shaw out for 16 and Mayank Agarwal out for 34, what on earth were they thinking? Both have been playing pathetically from the one day series. Kyle Jameson destroyed the Indian middle order, this how you debut.

Rain saved the Indian team today otherwise they would have been all out for less than 200 runs. All hopes are now with Ajinkya Rahane and Rishab Panth tomorrow.
6137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 20, 2020, 04:03:26 PM
I seriously do not know the actual situation in Afganisthan, whatever information I have is based on news coming out of that country, which states that the security situation is not good. As you mentioned US troops will be moving out of the country and it will become a real problem then how can an international team come to play in such a situation.
There is nothing much to know, they are a war torn country for decades and now they have built stadiums with the help of India i believe and they are playing their home game in Indian grounds which is evident by the recent series against West Indies and no one will dare to tour a country like that and the government cannot guarantee any security either like Pakistan is doing right now.

Exactly, if the government of Afganistan's government can provide security cover like the Pakistan government then I am sure the cricket playing nation can think about playing there. This is only possible with the support of both India and Pakistan.
6138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 20, 2020, 03:59:24 PM
I think that the PSL tournament going to held in Pakistan is going be a great tournament for the cricket fans to enjoy.

The PSL has already Started and it will be a wonderful event.  Smiley

Great firework and lighting around the stadium.

Which team do you guys think will win PSL 2020. Last time winners were Quetta Gladiators, do you think they have a chance this time too?
6139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple partnership with bkash? Is it legal? on: February 20, 2020, 01:19:44 PM
Bkash is a payment gateway of one of the reputed bank of Bangladesh, the BRAC bank. Recently they had a partnership with Ripple.
What I have understood, BRAC bank will use Ripple (?) to transfer remittances. If so, aren't they going to use XRP coin? Please confirm, I am a bit confused in this.

If so, I mean if they use XRP in Bangladesh, why not Bitcoin?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bangladesh-bank-with-4-billion-in-assets-now-employs-ripplenet

Edit- The article refers to partnership with Bank Asia, not BRAC Bank. I can't find link of the BRAC Bank partnership for now.

Goverments in third world countries and especially in South East Asia have a tendency to control the lives of its citizens. Except India every country has completely banned Bitcoin. This shows how much they fear Bitcoin.

But, as a government you can certainly use the technology for your own benefits and not for the citizens of the country. I am sure this partnership will help them in processing remittance faster, which obviously they will keep in their banks to boost economy. Citizens will still receive the money after the set date as per banking terms and conditions.
