621  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 04, 2019, 10:15:18 PM
I think he meant 30 pages not 300 and was linking to this thread :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188047.0

That is the CryptoTalk thread that fell apart... 30 pages...  And Cryptotalk == Yobit

This link is the Yobit thread from before.   Start at the end and just go backwards.... you'll see it.

Got it, its just they repromoted themself under different name. I am too surprised this one didn't blast up that long.
622  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 04, 2019, 10:02:56 PM
Sooo...  This time it didnt take 300 pages of posts for the cryptotalk campaign thread to explode and get locked in the same exact manner as the yobit one.
Say what?  You ought to elaborate a little bit on this, as not everyone follows whatever thread you're talking about.  I've got the Services section on ignore so I don't see any campaign threads anymore.

Anyone in on an idea on how we can get to the core of who controls yobit and ultimately bring some transparency to a very shady company?

They are just enjoying there security and rich life in Russia, there are even news of Russian government supporting its operation. So people like Pavel Krymov are already arrested under this exchange name but its still operating due to it's strong base in Russia.

Can Copper members have a signature?

Yes.

After the Copper membership goes away in which rank I will be?

Copper Membership is just like a title, you would be on whatever current rank you have. But I don't know how would it go away though.
624  Other / Meta / Re: Unknown merit received? on: December 04, 2019, 09:24:43 PM
It is because of this :

Thanks to everyone who participated! If you voted in this event, you received 1 merit; if your caption appeared in the first table above, you also received 10, and if your caption appeared only in the second table above, you also received 2.

You can lock the thread, there are already many with same question. One should atleast check the recent threads if anyone else has a same problem, it would avoid this multiple threads on same issue.
625  Other / Meta / Re: Calling for SENSIBLE DEBATE on this use of the trust system ( not regarding us) on: December 04, 2019, 05:12:46 PM
This is totally wrong and harsh use of trust system, eddie13 was just expressing his opinion about the exchange and that was the sole reason for that thread creation he was commenting in.

420) smoke a J and chill winston !

I would probably go with this most of the times.
626  Economy / Reputation / Re: Roobet.com not paying on their mistakes on: December 04, 2019, 08:03:00 AM
This is correct. They paid $2000 to my account and the other 9662 was just a mirage.

Looks like Hhampuz disagrees with my neg on them.

Doesn't look like anyone else is tagging them either, so maybe I should move this to reputation instead of scam accusation? My feedback is correct and I don't think countering is really warranted. Opinions?

I agree with Hhampuz here, they were not untrustworthy to you as you already knew the max wining amount for the bet was 2000$. You even knew they were still bug fixing but it was not a bug as they mentioned.

Neutral comment about one could not get high winnings paid could be suited.
627  Economy / Reputation / Re: P2PB2B - resolving "scam alerts" and misunderstandings on: December 04, 2019, 07:50:17 AM
So just to recap... Lauda's known gang have BULLIED a project to use LAUDA's escrow service?  is this correct?

No, mosprognoz just asked them to use any escrow not Lauda specifically.

Because someone said this should not have happened then Lauda gave them red trust??

Is this correct?

Sadly, YES !
628  Other / Meta / Re: The BCH value in forum wallets on: December 04, 2019, 05:05:54 AM
I was referring to the fork coins only, not the rest of the circumstances. Obviously what went down with Lauda was shady start to finish. I don't think you did anything wrong in your circumstance, though I do think you probably could have handled it better just knowing how thirsty a certain group of people here are to attack you over anything they can and defend even more indefensible actions of others they support.

Yes, just because it was the great OGnasty, one sees double standards to attack him in a such an aggressive way, even after theymos said he doesn't think it was wrong from OGs side but just a bit "tacky". It is not surprising either, as it's already been done with him many times in the past.

I think OG should have his own Walk Down Memory Lane.

theymos got all the hard forks with Bitcoin denomination, while OGNasty keeps the airdrops, both parties feel content that it's a fair distribution of the net profits generated by the preservation of the forum's BTC, the original task that the treasurer also successfully completed, so all in all most independent observers would agree this collaboration between theymos and OG has been fruitful and beneficial to both parties...

Yes, of course this deal was already successful when OgNasty returned the forum funds ( what he received from the forum). This is just an after air. Not even OP intended to accuse someone out of this thread.

I love your art work, it's really trippy ! Nice work.
630  Other / Meta / Re: Allow newbies to send you PMs - Working or not? on: December 02, 2019, 07:39:40 PM
You receive the messages from them because they are copper member with some privileges such as sending private message or posting with photos, that's fair because they paid to do that.

do you even read the whole fucking thread?

posts #2 & #3 - less than 30 seconds apart give the answer...

you come along 150 minutes later and repeat whats already been said! great value there fella!
You should report his post in this case, you don't need to use the f-word for that

He just seems to be trying his best to answer right !
631  Other / Meta / Re: The BCH value in forum wallets on: December 02, 2019, 07:00:27 PM
Theymos thinks it is right for OG to keep the fork funds ( if he got any ). This funds usage totally depends on theymos himself.

totally agree, that isnt what is being discussed here - OG signed up for an airdrop as he had 500BTC of forum funds in an address, he did not inform theymos of this - theymos only found out in this thread!

Even after theymos found it after this thread creation or if he knew before, he said it's OK for him.

I don't see it as a violation of the treasury agreement

633  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dont trust the user localxe [details added] on: December 01, 2019, 12:50:55 PM
I asked you for the ANN, I shitted on my own plans, I didn't paid you because of that !

That is a BS reason, you should have just paid him as soon as he submitted his work, it's your own problem that the developer was still working on an issue and this has nothing to do with the OPs payments your holding. I didn't opened the file is the most childish reason from some project !

Your reason doesn't seem genuine to me, but paying for the work is a good step forward.
634  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hex.win, fake signature campaign on: December 01, 2019, 12:40:41 PM
Pretty lame way of spamming referral link. Don't know how many people would have already made him fake benefits through it unknowingly.

Flag supported.
635  Other / Meta / Re: BTT badges on: November 30, 2019, 09:19:15 AM
It's pretty easy to add a new badge and manually (or automatically) assign it to people, but with the reporter badge I didn't originally consider that people might reasonably want to opt-out of having the badge. Adding that functionality is a bit more difficult. Maybe sometime in 2020.

I also don't want the left side of threads to look like a rainbow explosion, so I probably won't add too many additional badges, either.

Would it be possible to add a set number of slots, say like 3, and let users fill as many or as few of those as they like? It seems like this would be half of the work you are planning to do any way by adding the ability to opt out. This would be a way to have your cake and eat it too so to speak allowing use  of badges without it being a total eyesore.

Yes, It could just be like the current coin badges which are increased as per the rank, a specific number of slots could be allocated and filled as the number of good reports increases. And of course adding a badge disabling option would work it all out.
636  Other / Archival / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Worldmarkets.com is a Ponzi scheme. on: November 30, 2019, 06:55:34 AM
It would be more clear to the reader if you can attach proves of it being ponzi.
637  Economy / Reputation / Re: P2PB2B - resolving "scam alerts" and misunderstandings on: November 29, 2019, 07:37:24 PM
Tell me which exchange does not engage in fake volumes, or are you that naive?

Binance.

At least it's proved that the visitors on P2PB2B land on exchange for a very less time compared to a normal exchange.
638  Other / Meta / Re: [SHARE][STYLISH] Orange Yellow Theme for Bitcointalk [NEW] on: November 29, 2019, 05:22:25 AM
Dude the colour scheme hurts !

For me the current default and simple theme seems better. Simple = Attractive.
639  Other / Meta / Re: It's about time bitcointalk addresses the worst kind of spam on: November 29, 2019, 04:56:55 AM
The only reason why I'm not totally enthusiastic about the suggestion is that I'm pretty sure Theymos won't implement it.  I've seen so many ideas like this that might help at least a little, and they generally just get ignored.

Me too as there is a whole dedicated thread with losts of interesting and helpful suggestions yet to be implemented from years.

But let's not get upset, all this could be integrated in the new forum software ( Epochtalk ) as we would shift to it soon.
640  Other / Meta / Re: It's about time bitcointalk addresses the worst kind of spam on: November 29, 2019, 04:37:36 AM
I think this method to decrease the newbie spam could work.

Legitimate users could be patient to get there link posting power until they gain some activity or merits ( better alternative ), and the once impatient are sure to be spammers.

This will not bury any real user as he can genuinely go as per rules to post or promote something, rather than bot shitting all over the forum.

Anyways, even though it's good suggestion and being suggested many times before, I don't think it would be implemented soon. You should check the long to do list of theymos, don't know on what number this landed up.
