I'm not sure if I should hop on it yet or no. Like you said, probably won't make it to an exchange. I did a little research on that project and I couldn't find them on miningpoolstats. Is it only CPU minable? I couldn't find the answer on their website.
Thanks
I didn't find this project on miningpoolstats either. The project is new and may very well not survive to the listing. On github you can find instructions for Nvidia, AMD video cards and processors. Intel video cards are not supported, or there is no information. https://github.com/Pyrinpyi/pyrin-minerIf you are interested in the project, I would advise you to ask questions in the discord. You will find the link on the official website. https://e4pool.com/pyrinI never listen to other people's advice in mining. Other miners may tell you not to mine this coin and it may be a scam, but they themselves will mine it. The hashrate is growing and miners are hoping for a repeat with karlsencoin(KLS), when the first miners made a good profit. From a regular rtx 3060 video card, when sold for 10 cents, the profit was more than $10 per day. There wasn’t even that much on Ethereum.

The U.S. government's claim for $24 billion in unpaid taxes from FTX has only one source – taking cash away from its victims, the bankrupt crypto exchange said in a court filing Sunday. The filing disputed the amount claimed and also said there are no other sources of cash. Unless a judge rejects the Internal Revenue Service's demand, the victims of the FTX fraud will not get any meaningful recovery. The case is scheduled to be heard later Tuesday. "This Alice in Wonderland argument has no support in the law," the filing said. "There is simply no basis to support the IRS’s meritless claims that the Debtors owe tax in an amount that is orders of magnitude greater than any income the Debtors ever earned and that would effectively prevent most of FTX’s creditors – themselves victims of fraud – from obtaining any meaningful recovery."https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/12/12/ftx-disputes-irss-alice-in-wonderland-tax-claim/

Rigel 1.11.0 (PYI) Add pyrinhash algorithm (dev fee 1%, see pyi bat/sh script) https://github.com/rigelminer/rigel/releases/tag/1.11.0Be sure to check the links with the first post from the developer. There you will find links to the official github and discord!https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5424675I like the fact that there is another new miner for new coins such as pyrin, although the coin is not yet traded on the exchange. But the coin doesn’t seem to have a simple and convenient wallet other than a node.

During the last bull run and NVIDIA's restrictions on the ETH algorithm I mined some ERGO and generated a little profit.
Nowadays I have an RTX4070 Ti with a 10th generation Core I7, this equipment sits idle for most of the day, I've been thinking about returning to this line of activity and maybe making a little money.
Is it still worth it? What are you mining?
My usual advice https://hashrate.no/gpus/4070tiI would avoid picking hot coins with high power consumption and would start with karlsencoin(KLS) because this coin has the lowest power consumption or choose a coin that is not yet on the exchange like pyrin. But these are the risks of the miner. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5475916.0

In a couple of weeks, several wallets with the following initial phrase structure will be available in the ecosystem: Karlsen wallet (official command line wallet, comes bundled with the karlsen daemon) - https://github.com/karlsen-network/karlsend (has a 24-word seed, not compatible with other wallets in this aspect); Web wallet - https://wallet.karlsencoin.com/ (initial phrase of 12 words); KDX (GUI wallet for desktop computers) - coming soon (seed phrase 12 words); Implementation of KDX/Web wallets as a CLI wallet - coming soon (initial phrase of 12 words). https://t.me/Info4atlanin/9390Karlsen is the GPU mining life-support Are you sure about that? This news is already being discussed in all mining chats. This may be a hoax, but the KLS hashrate grew very quickly and the profit did not increase on other coins. Maybe you can comment on these rumors?

It's interesting to think about. I really doubt anything will change for the better (I imagine the issue will likely worsen over time) unless smaller pools are able to come up with incentives to effectively pull in miners.
This issue isn't just to limited to Bitcoin, I believe Monero has a similar issue with the majority of hashrate tied up in a minority of pools. It's unfortunate to see Bitcoin's decentralization slowly being crushed by these pools.
Do you think that a private pool like Foundry will collude with other mining pools for a 51% attack? And which centralized exchange will they attack? If you do not make transactions during the attack, then your bitcoins are safe.

Salvador came up with the most profitable mining in the world! El Salvador unveils BTC ‘Freedom Visa’ — but it’s 10x the cost of others The same citizenship-by-investment schemes in nearby Caribbean nations start at $100,000, and one EU country has a citizenship pathway for just over $800,000. El Salvador has launched a new citizenship-by-investment program that grants a residency visa and pathway to citizenship for 1,000 people willing to stump up a $1 million Bitcoin investment in the country.https://cointelegraph.com/news/el-salvador-bitcoin-freedom-visa-more-expensive-citizenship-by-investment

OneZeroMiner 1.2.7 Changelog This version is mainly to support dual mining Dynex and Zil. Add support for Zilliqa(0% fee) Add new options: --a2 --o2 --w2 --p2 --worker, --worker2 --cclk2 --coff2 --mclk2 --moff2 --fan2 --pl2 --zil-before-script --zil-after-script --zil-test --zil-test-port Add support for nvtool on hiveos for locking clocks on older gpus. The miner uses nvtool on hiveos as a fallback when the built-in oc functionality fails. Note: Please refer to the readme section of this repo or use --help on the miner for more documentation. There are also bat/sh files for mining DNX+ZIL in the packages. Known issues: If a zilliqa session is active when the miner is started, the first few dynex shares after switching back to it might get rejected. This is an edge case and should only happen once in the worst case scenario. https://github.com/OneZeroMiner/onezerominer/releases/tag/v1.2.7check all links with 1 post!

I got the drop 9 months ago
Where is the price of this coin written? If this is an exchange, then send these coins to the exchange and try to sell them. And in order not to be deceived, first sell several hundred dollars worth of coins and withdraw it to your wallet. If this is a decentralized exchange on Ethereum or other coins, then do not use your wallet for trading. Open a new metamask wallet and send some coins to it.

For any video card there are good settings at https://hashrate.no/ depending on the coin and mining algorithm For your video card https://hashrate.no/gpus/6800xtAfter that, I use a wattmeter to find the optimal energy consumption solution. If you tweak it further, you can save up to 40-80 watts per mining rig.

Why invest in a company that will find it more difficult to make a profit every 4 years and after the halving, their profits will also decrease. The price of shares of mining companies directly depends on the price of Bitcoin, and over the past month the price of shares of mining companies and Bitcoin has been growing symmetrically.

let's say I was holding kaspa while this fork was created, can I claim an amount of KLS equal to the kaspa I was holding? if so, how
This is a new coin based on a similar Kaspa algorithm without a premine. New coins are mined only by miners.

Hive Digital says BTC miners bought last Dec. have already paid themselves off Hive Digital made a sizeable ASIC miner purchase in December 2022. Just one year later, thanks to a Bitcoin boom, the crypto miner says the rigs have paid for themselves. Bitcoin miner Hive Digital Technologies says the move to acquire a fleet of Bitmain mining rigs in 2022 has already paid for itself, largely due to a significant increase in the price of BTC. In a Dec. 8 statement, Hive Digital wrote that it had been acquiring mining rigs since the collapse of FTX, a decision it believes will put it in a favorable position for the upcoming Bitcoin halving, currently slated for April 2024.https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-miner-hive-digital-asic-mining-rigs-break-evenWith such a payback, many companies will still come to mining
