It's happening! There's one Throne online (mine) and its paying out smoothly! Here's the proof https://www.blockexperts.com/crw/address/1DeWEBbXbajFmC1hYuo6EoiYdMt7DjZeBG/page/3Someone with huge hash has updated their pool software to the new linux client . (Who ever you are, could you please provide us with a couple of answers? 1. Does running crowncoin conflict with other coins your merge mining? 2. What is your pool called so we can advertise you By the way, thank you!) Come on people, get the old linux out and bootstrap a Throne yourself This is only until the GUI wallets have been completed!

Quick update, Wallets maybe ready sooner than I thought

Its quiet here. Can we get an update on thrones progress please? (publicly so investors can see)
I hear they should be done soon.
Thanks guys.
Progress is being made, you can check here www.github.com/crowndev/crowncoinThe wallets could be awhile yet so i didn't want to raise false hopes that the update would be soon. The guy who's doing the wallet builds is limited to time and goes away every two weeks or so. If he cannot finish wallets before he goes away we have to wait 2 more weeks. But fingers crossed he does, then we can release the major update

I have started a throne and it is the only one online?
Could someone check if they can see my Throne?

The Throne list is still empty for me. Relatedly, is there a guide to setting up a throne? Is it similar to setting up a Dash masternode? I'm guessing no other thrones are showing because the network isn't communicating yet. Once Thrones goes live on main net this wont be an issue. What do you mean by that? Is there a specific block when the network will fork? Or will we have the fork happen only when miners switch (horrible idea)? There are only a few miners right now and we've made them aware of the coming update. We're doing this via enforcement, so as soon as the wallet builds are complete and everyones had time to update, we flip the switch and anyone mining on the old client will only mine orphaned blocks

Is there a specific block number when crowncoin's thrones become enabled? If so, and you are not on the test net, then they won't start until the block number is reached. I'm not sure if the this is true for the test net though.
Our current testnet is on mainnet but not fully active (miners haven't yet switched to new client). This is ok for now as we haven't finished all wallet builds yet. But if you like, you can take all the steps required to host a Throne, you just wont get paid to do so untill we release the new update

how does merge mining work exactly? I heard for some time, but i don't quite get it with these new coins. The block difference make any problem?
Merged mining means, while you mine Bitcoin you also technically mine another blockchain, in this case Crowncoin. So you mine BTC on a merged mining pool that also mines Crowncoin and you receive both BTC and CRW MM is great for protecting the network. We are also adding Thrones to Crowncoin to give people the incentive to host full nodes, complementing merged mining

Any news on Thrones? I'm running the latest code from github but "crowncoin-cli thronelist" shows me an empty list.
Mine have also stopped working.... Could you send me your debug.log? I'm sure it will have something to do with Thrones not communicating correctly because the network isn't live.

We're still building wallets for all platforms, hopefully wont be to long now. I'm investigating why 0 Thrones are showing. Thrones haven't been forked to main chain yet so this may cause problems

The crw merged mining function was taken from namecoin. Can you try connecting namecoin to your pool if it does the same? Hi,
I have recently discovered that if I have CRW running on my sha port, it blocks UNO and MYR from generating blocks. As soon as I disabled CRW, they began creating blocks again...
Is there a known conflict with these coins? Is there some conflict with chainid's or something?
Some insight would be great,
Thanks!
Is it known if this problem will be resolved? Yes, this issue has been taken note of. It's one of the priority's for the dev team. We want as many Merge miners to mine crowncoin as we can, so this issue will be corrected. It would be super helpful if you could put some hash toward crowncoin and enforce the new linux client This still hasn't been fixed? After two months? No wonder merge mine pools don't add CRW. Miners won't mine CRW if it breaks their other coins either. This should have been fixed within hours, not months. Is this for some particular pool software? I merge mine CRW, MYR and UNO in my personal p2pool, and haven't had any trouble hitting UNO and MYR blocks. Maybe a quick conversation with zpool about both of your pools codes would clear things up. If Crackfoo cant but zyzzyva can mine all coins thogether, then it's not something wrong with our code, maybe Crackfoos pool code needs to change I don't know what pool software crackfoo is running, but I do know than UNOMP has a known issue that it can only merge mine one coin. If you specify more than one merge mined coin to UNOMP, it'll act like everything's fine, but all the merge mine coins except one will reject found blocks. That's why I switched to p2pool. I'm not sure where software other than UNOMP and p2pool stands on this, though. Great thanks for the info! Do you have the source code link for the p2pool software?

Not a huge deal, but the Github link in the OP seems to be outdated.
Holy shit, that is a big deal! Looking into it now. Issue noted and will be resolved with the coming official update

Thanks Ok I can give it a go and see how it fairs. The stratum code I use is: https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp/tree/next/stratumTo clarify, only the github link has changed on crowncoin.org. You need to build yourself right now. O and thanks for the link!

Hi everyone, we will soon announce several updates on the Crowncoin project: especially in terms of ongoin Thrones implementation and future plans. Additionally we would like to welcome several experienced legendaries to the CRW team with great experience and know how from other major crypto projects.
Will come back soon.
Can't wait to hear the update!

One big marketing advantage Crowncoin now has is that no other coin has Merged Mining and Thrones(Masternodes)
I can't stress how secure Crowncoin's network will be once we have a good number of Thrones and Merged Mining pools start to hash Crowncoin agian.
